A great experience from start to finish. An estimator came round the same day that I called to get a quote. They were really helpful and offered many packing tips. I had a large table to move with a granite top that is heavy and fragile to move. This was quoted as a separate item as it would require special packing and an additional guy on the moving team. On the day, the 3 guys were great and nothing was an issue, they just got on with it and had a 'can do' attitude. The granite table top was carefully wrapped and crated up. The move was to East Sussex and they we ready to start unloading as soon as we had had the keys. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I have not yet found anything damaged or missing. I would throughly recommend City Removals for a house move. They were friendly and helpful in what can be a very stressful time.

City Removals made moving completely stress free. I had never used one and their packing service made it so easy. Their service was fantastic and all the team were lovely. There was no drama when removing a sofa from a small flat. They helped with any queries and we're happy to wait at the other end, when we were waiting for completion. They dismantled and put evreything back together. They were really honest, and  I would highly recommend them.                  !

We found this company on line on this website.We selected the first 5 companies by the number of the reviews.City Removals were the first company to come to us.We were impressed by Nicolas who did a very good job of assessing our needs and answering our questions. The quote arrived later on the same day by email and we found the price competitive so we decided to book them. As my wife had the time we decided to do the packing ourseves.  On the move day due to the poor acces at our new property 2 smaller trucks arrived and 4 men.All of them were polite , clean and spoke good English. They were extremely hardworking organised and efficient throughout the whole day.Also their main strong point is that even though they are a bit on the slow side this is only because they are extremely carefully when they carry things..so nothing really to complain about here. Dismantling is a piece of cake for them as well.They had all the tools and we're very skilled at taking things apart and put in them back. Once at our new home we showed them around and in about 4 hours they were gone.My wife was with them for the whole time and they followed her instructions precisely as to where and how to place stuff. Very good service and value overall.

This company kept our stuff in storage for three months.All was delivered back to us in good shape with nothing damaged or missing.
The same team that collected our stuff also delivered it.
On both occasions they were on time polite and extremely professional.We made it clear when we booked that we would like all our furniture wrapped which they did.
The office always answered emails in a timely manner.We had no hidden charges and the quoted price was the price we paid plus the storage.
We were also been given full access to our storage unit in case we ever wanted to visit.
5 star service.

All went as planned.The removal crew came on time ,they were extremely polite,very hard working and diligent.
Clearly this company puts a lot of effort into choosing their staff as both of them were smartly dressed, spoke good English and my feeling was that they get a bit of training into speaking to customers and answering questions.
They came fully prepared with covers and tools.My sliding door wardrobe was no match for them as in about 5 minutes it was in pieces and of course put back together at our new address.
They even gave me a job sheet to sign where I had the opportunity to write a bit of feedback a sign that the company wants to know how their men perform.
top marks from me as the service I received was everything I was expecting.Not the cheapest nor the most expensive but how they say..you get what you pay for.

This was a small move from a 1 bedroom flat to another 1 bedroom flat.I moved the small things myself so they only had to move the furniture and stuff I could not fit in my car. I went for their hourly rate option which was 65 pounds per hour.It took them 3 and a half hours to move everything including taking apart a wardrobe and a bed. I thought the whole move went very well.The price also was reasonable for over 3 hours of quality work. I would defo use again and recommend.

The whole experience was from our perspective as smooth as it gets.It all started with a home visit by a very lovely lady by the name of Nicola.She was patient and was with us for 45 minutes.She answered all our questions and she made us feel at ease.
The price altough not the cheapest was within our price range and also was what we were expecting to pay.Overall very good value for money considering all went smoothly and with no problems whatsoever.
For 1300 pounds we had a lovely team of 6 strong men with 3 vans who worked very hard and showed professionalism in everything they did.
i could go on and on but time is precious.Perfection does not exist but I would give them 9 out of 10.

Very good service on all the 3 days.This was a full packing , removal and unpacking service.Wonderful lads with a positive attitude.Also their estimator was the most professional from all the estimators we had (and we had 4).
Parking was also dealt with swiftly.They arranged 4 bays at each addresses.It is a shame people do not look for signs as all the spaces were occupied at both addresses and some time was lost calling the council to try and get them removed.
This was the only downsize but it was not their fault.
Apart from this everything ran like clockwork and the men made sure we moved on time and with no stress.
Wholeheartedly recommend.
