      Excellent removals service

City removals were fantastic for us throughout. The detailed video survey gave us confidence they knew what they needed to do. The flexibility over packing options - we went for the fragile only option and nothing was broken during the move. They took the furniture apart and put it all back together so well. The moving team were friendly and efficient, made the whole experience stress free for us and much easier than we thought it would be. Fantastic, can't recommend them enough.

    • the team's flexibility and can-do attitude especially when they were struggling with our sofa in the staircase.. which they did manage to get to the lounge in the end!

      Excellent service.

We had a very good experience with City-Removals and Storage moving from a two-bedroom flat to a house. The saleslady was very professional and helpful from the start offering two options in order to keep the costs down. Our move was stress-free, fast and efficient. We very much appreciated the team's flexibility and can-do attitude especially when they were struggling with our sofa in the staircase.. which they did manage to get to the lounge in the end!

We won't hesitate to recommend their services in the future.

      Great service and good value.

About 2 weeks have gone since we have moved but only now I managed to find the time to write a well deserved review for this company.

Everyone involved has been incredibily helpfull and polite. They managed to find a solution to any problem that arose. Also they office has been wonderfull in helping me change my move day several times due to lousy solicitors.

The crew has also been unbelievable in dealing with me and my wife at our worst.

They packed everything with the utmost care.Dismantling and reassembeling also was a piece of cake. The guys definitely were extremely experienced as I watched them move several big pieces of furniture through tight corners without great difficulty.Everything was a breeze.

i fon t know what else to say apart from the fact that we were very very happy with how our move went along and I would use again and recommend to anyone.

Studio flat removal - Central London.

We lived in a large studio flat and had a LOT of stuff to move to our new place. The City Removal quote was by far the most competitive and the two guys arrived early on the day. They worked incredibly hard and we didn't have to lift a finger. They dismantled a large IKEA storage unit, took the arms off our sofa and took the feet off our armchairs so they would fit through the front door of the new flat. They then rebuilt everything in record time. They were polite, friendly and didn't stop until they were done. This was by far the best-value part of the whole moving process and I will definitely use City Removals again.

    • They also moved a sofa down three storeys for me that wasn't moving with me and were generally upbeat and supportive in what is a stressful event.

      Punctual, professional, excellent value!

I contacted City Removals because of the positive reviews. Got a competitive quote. The guys were polite, pleasant, arrived on time and moved our stuff swiftly. They took care of the items that were fragile and nothing was broken. They covered the mattress and sofa at pick up location and laid cover on the floor by the entrance to avoid markings on the carpet at destination. Communications with the office prior to the move was excellent too. I'd use them again.

      City Removals.

I am not able to provide a fully positive review. I was very optimistic after the first phase of my move - packing and removal to storage. This phase was very efficient.

I found a treasured piece of furniture had a broken handle after moving my furniture from storage to my new home. I know it was broken during the move because I found the broken piece in the hall. I have also found that City Removals have given me the gift of cockroaches. To date I have found 3. The house I moved to was given a deep clean before my furniture arrived and there was no sign of cockroaches. I definitely did not have cockroaches before my move and so they must have hitched a ride from the storage facility. City Removals have responded by saying that they did not introduce the cockroaches. They have pest removers treat the facility every week. I do not find this convincing and therefore have to have them a poor review and rating.

    • They arrived promptly at 7am, had everything in the van by 7:30, crossed London, and had the furniture and boxes in place at the new flat by 9am.

      Effortless removals.

I used City Removals when moving from a shared house to a flat and taking a large bed, chest of drawers, two side tables and a big TV plus over a dozen large boxes.

They arrived promptly at 7am, had everything in the van by 7:30, crossed London, and had the furniture and boxes in place at the new flat by 9am.

By far the least stressful move I've ever experienced. In addition, the head office were very helpful when answering my questions prior to the move, nothing was too much trouble.

      I highly recommend them.

    • They worked very quietly and efficiently to carry all the boxes and pieces from a third floor flat to the house a few miles away.

      Moving in NW3 London.

From the visit by the estimator until the move was complete this was a stress free experience. The quotation was very competitive. The company arranged parking suspension for the day required. Packing was carried out on the day before and the 2 man team arrived at the agreed time and were very courteous, careful an efficient. Again on the day of removal the 3 man team were there waiting until the agreed time. They worked very quietly and efficiently to carry all the boxes and pieces from a third floor flat to the house a few miles away. They worked diligently throughout the day and completed the move with their van in 3 trips. Nothing was broken or damaged and all dismantling and re-assembly of furniture trouble free. Could not praise the team enough.

If you are considering a move then look no further but contact Alexander at City and he will ensure you have a trouble free move.

      Simply Great!

I used City Removals to move a 1 bed flat from W1 to W9. The final price £995 included: packing services (including materials), the removal, unpacking as well as two professional cleanings (the old flat and the new one). The company not just met, but well exceeded my expectations in terms of service, punctuality, professionalism, staff friendliness and communication. They did what I thought would be impossible: taking the stress out of moving! The two crews (one for moving and one for cleaning) arrived on time, were very polite and spoke perfect English. While the one team was packing the old flat, the other team was cleaning the new flat. I only had to show them once what things were going to stay in the old flat, and they made no mistakes at all. When in doubt, as I told them, and same with unpacking, they called me to make sure they got it right. All in all, for any of my next moves or for any of my friends or colleagues, I would recommend City Removals with absolutely no hesitation. They are simply the best moving company I have ever, and probably will ever use. All my stuff arrived safely, very well packaged, was unpacked very efficiently, even without my direct guidance,…

    • From the the appraisal process through to the moving day, City Removals were helpful, attentive, professional and prompt.

Best moving company I have ever used!

From the the appraisal process through to the moving day, City Removals were helpful, attentive, professional and prompt. They quoted us a very reasonable price and there were no unexpected costs. We had the packing service and the team were efficient, thoughtful and careful. We had no breakages and no damage to furniture. On moving day, the team were prompt and again, very efficient and very professional. It was the least stressful move I have ever done and I will most definitely recommend and use their service again. The entire process was smooth sailing. Thank you City Removals for being fantastic!!

      Great service.

My experience was very positive from start to finish. The lady who came out to do the estimate was punctual and friendly also managing to fit around my difficult schedule. We had both packing and removals service - the men arrived on time for both and were very courteous and efficient. They also reassembled furniture in our new house - including a bed that had not previously been assembled. I was very impressed at how quick they were. They were also incredibly good value for money - the quote was less than half that of another highly rated firm but the service was superb.

      Don’t use

City removals managed our move last week. However, they damaged one of our wardrobes and then refused to take any responsibility for this. Rude and careless with our furniture. The workman seemed very tired and overworked, and management very dismissive. I would not use them again

      Don't use them.

This company moved my 2 bed flat to a four bed house. They didn’t attend the agreed viewing and didn’t arrange for the correct size trucks (we made decisions based on their vast experience and recommendation) the movers themselves were rude and abrupt asking for cash as soo as they arrived (despite us paying on line) they furniture that was delivered arrived damaged. Despite claiming they have full insurance it took nearly a month to get a response and they refused to offer any insurance claim for me. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

    • they did nothing about it and just said the it was now down to the insurance company to resolve the problem

Wish I read the negative reviews car before falling for the good ones.

I wish I read Sangita's review before hiring these people as I fully agree with her.

Silviu was very quick to sell this with a shiny brochure and very responsive. The people that work there, are a very different lot.

I had a very similar experience with the wall and carpet damage , the wall and carpet damage were City removal responsibility, not the insurance company and they did nothing about it and just said the it was now down to the insurance company to resolve the problem. They were extremely defensive on the phone and not service oriented at all.

Poor customer service , I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We're a small (12ppl) start-up in the City and were only moving half a mile down the road. I had been very underwhelmed by responses/ quotes I received from a number of other companies but then stumbled across City Removals after discovering removalreviews.co.uk. Fast and helpful correspondence from HQ and the removal guys themselves were prompt, friendly, very hardworking and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done.

Brilliant!

The subject says it all. We moved houses from one end of London to the otherside - 15 miles apart.
The move went extremely smoothly - Adrian and his colleague were brilliant!.. the packing was done with great care .. the loading / unloading as well but very efficiently. I was very impressed and happy with the overall way in which both of them worked together.. and both were extremely polite.
All items came in perfect condition (well so far as we are still unpacking but almost done!).. I don't think there was anything missing in the service. Thanks very much for arranging and making this easy - did take a lot of stress away on the day!. Please pass on my thanks to the two .. they were simply brilliant.

I couldn't believe how helpful these two guys were, they built beds, fixed shelves and moved our ENTIRE house in a day .. all in great spirits and took genuine care of everything .. I cannot reccomend this company highly enough. Every problem we found a solutiuon and I think it is this positive attitude that impressed me the most. Thank you City.

Dear everyone,
My name is Julia and I used to live in a 4 bedroom house in Thurrock.I think this was the most conplicated move ever.I had so much stuff in my house that I thought I will never move out.My husband was also very concerned and stressed out as you can imagine.
But than we chose this company City Removals to help us out and everything went brilliant.
In the first day 3 of their crew came, 1 girl and 2 lads. The girl was packing while the 2 man loaded a lot of the furniture and the boxes.
In about 6 hours our house was looking much better and everithing suddenly looked much better. What a relief this was. After their crew finished loading the van they also started packing. So in the first day they finished all the packing service and also loaded one van.
The second day they came in the morning and loaded the rest of my stuff.Once at my new house they placed everything where I wanted.Verry good company with great crews.I just canot recommend them enough. No damages whatsoever to any of my stuff.Brilliant brilliant service allaround.
Thank youuuuu.

We moved from Nice to London at the end of February.City Removals provided a top class service. We filled in their online forms and they got back to us in no time.Their assessment of the whole job was spot on and they asked the right questions so that they can understand what we wanted. .Being so far away made things a little complicated but they nailed the planning to perfection.
Although a little tired the guys arrived in Nice on time.We could not have asked for a better and nicer removal.men.They packed and loaded very meticulously and everything was in the truck quite quickly. They wrapped all our furniture in.blankets and some red covers.
IN London again.they came on.time and unloaded safely.
Our move was really all we could have asked for with a first class service and stress levels kept to a minimum.

City Removals were highly professional, from the administration to the actual moving team. All items were delivered in perfect condition and reassembled with efficiency! Parking was organised by them, taking into account parking restrictions etc .. I did not get them to pack and unpack, as I thought that I wanted to do this myself, but I certainly would consider this next time, as this was the only stressful part of the move (i.e. the part that they were not responsible for!). I would definitely use City Removals for future moves.
