City-Removals and Storage

We moved from London to Birmingham at the end of February.I wanted to write this earlyer but accomodating to our new place  took longer than expected and I had no time.
Not too much to say though as the service received was just as expected.
We had no damages and nothing missing.We were impressed with how polite , and well organized they were.Everyone knew what to do.I think the best word to describe them is proffessional.It is nice and reassuring to see how they  dismantle things how they wrap furniture etc.
All of them wanted to help and they always went the extra mile.
 Totally enjoyable  experience and based on our house move I would  totally recommend this company.

Being impressed with the reviews we found on the internet we asked them for a quote.Nicola came out and did a home survey.She was on time,polite and she handled the survey very proffessionaly.She also answerred all the questions we had in a straightforward manner.
On the same day we received the quote via email, and we decided to use them.
The moving men did their job very well.They were respectfull and they took good care of everything they touched.Everything was done on time, as we had to be out by 12:00 that day.With an early start around 11:30 they were on their way to our new house.
Unfortunately we only got our keyes at 4pm, so they had a lot of wayting to do.They are clearly trained to deal with this and their attitude remained unchanged.
It took a bit more than expected to unload as the new house had a few tight turns, and they had to dismantle furniture that came out in one piece from our previous property.
At the end of the day a company is only as good as their staff. , and this lot certainly seems to know this.

We ve used this company to relocate from London to Bristol.I can't fault the service at all.
The guys were on time , impressivelly polite , skilled at what they do and very proffesional.
Also they were equipped with everything they needed to protect our stuff and also to dismantle and reassemble.
Communication with the office was also good.Queries were always answerred promptly and in a clear manner.
Nothing got damaged on the trip either.At delivery they placed everything where we wanted.
Nothing more to say really.A good service and all we would have wanted.

City Removals packed and storred our belongings for 2 months.We just had our stuff deliverred and we received everything in the same condition they left.Their staff were always nice and polite.
In terms of storage they work with Big Yellow.This was one of the main reasons we chose them as we think Big yellow are a lot safer than containerised storage.Also I think they have some sort of agrement as we got better prices than if we were to store with Big Yellow ourselves.
They also wrapped everything in blankets for safe storage and an inventory was provided.Quite proffessional stuff.
We felt safe and looked after thorghout the move and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

So far so good. The first part of our move into storage just finished and we are very pleased with how everything went.

All of the guys that were involved were super nice and professional and they worked with the safety of our belongings as their main priority.

We had 4 men that came packed and loaded one truck in the first day and the following day 4 men came and finished the job.

We told them that we will be in storage for around 4 months and they carefully wrapped all the sensitive items.

Nicola who did the home survey was also very polite and she knew what she was talking about. We liked the fact that she immediately knew what size truck we would need ,how many men etc.

One of the guys, Adrian who coordinated everything was especially nice and skilful. He dismantled all our beds and 2 big wardrobes with ease. Also he had all the tools that you can imagine.

I was a bit doubtful at the beginning that they will be able to pack and move a 5 bedroom house in to days but I was assured that with the right number of people and resources it can be done..and it did.

Once we will find our new home and will get the stuff delivered from storage we will update this review. Hopefully, judging by the first part of the move all will be good.

Also we were handed a very thorough inventory of everything that went in storage.

It was a pleasure to move with this company..I really mean this. I have now finished unpacking and I feel as I have never moved.
Everyone in the office was very nice and polite starting with Nicola who also did our home survey. They also dealt with all the parking arrangements for us.
The guys that came and actually moved us were amazing professionals who took great pride in the work they do. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always willing to help..pure eastern European work ethics. Also they spoke very highly of their company which is a sign that they are treated well and maybe also paid well. It is always nice to see this.
Silviu was the top man. He supervised everything, he was everywhere and he was also the smartest of all.
They were also well within the timeframe as we had to be out by 12:00 from our current address. Also unfortunately they had to wait around 3 hours as we did not get the keys to our new home until around 4:00PM.
We had around 5 quotes to choose from and we are very happy we made the right choice.

Our decision to hire them was based on how well Nicola conducted the survey, price and online research and it seems it was the right one.

Thoroughly impressed with the service.Totally professional and handled our move in a positive and organized way.
Nicola who came and saw our property was charming and she answerred all our questions.She instantly knew what size truck our removal would need,how many men and she also gave a time scale for the move day which turned out to be pretty much accurate.
The boys were all clean and hardworkingand most importantly knew their trade.Dismantling ,reassembling, wrapping ,carrying ..they did it all without too much trouble.
There was really no hassle involved with our move.
I have a few friends who were not so lucky with their move so I did my research well before choosing.I would recommend everyone who moves to do the same if they value their possesions.Moving is clearly not an easy task and a good removal company plays a pivotal role.

We moved last week after 12 years in our 2 bed flat in Wandsworth.Like manny people I guess we were really concerned with finding a good removal company.Luckily we came across this website where we found multiple companies with positive reviews.
We asked 5 companies for a quote 3 of which agreed to do a free home survey.All of the quotes were competitive and the home surveyes were conducted very well but we thought no one came close to Nicola,the estimator from this company.She was nice and polite and at no point did we feel that she was there to sell a service using all kinds of tactics.She was honest polite and she explained the whole process in a really nice way.
Anyway..long story short,the whole move was brilliant with no damages or missing items.All of the guys were very very polite hardworking and with a great positive attitude in general.
Also they came on time ,were super organized and fast.The move started at 07:00 with us being well settled around 07:00pm the same day.
The packing was aldo done by them one day before.We have not finished unpacking yet but so far so good.
I would reccomend this company based on our experience with them.What I think is very important in the whole moving process and my best advice is to never choose a company before you call them in to your property.

The 3 removal men were courteous, polite, hardworking and pleasant at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. They assembled my large sofa on arrival which was a great bonus. Although I believe they were from Roumania their English was very good and there was no problem with communication. Their work ethic was second to none. It would have been helpful to know that the 2 packers and the 3 removers would include different people. I planned to tip at the end of the process so one packer missed out as he was not there on removal day. Both packers were very efficient , polite and speedy and I felt bad that one packer did not get a tip. I would like to redress this if you could advise how I could do this. I would definitely recommend City Removals to others without hesitation.
