Guy Isherwood: City-Removals did the business. Kind, hard working and efficient. A difficult move (I thought) but a breeze for this crew. Packing, removing, loading, unloading etc. good. No breakages and reassembly other end done well. It was a long drive and weather terrible but the job was done. God knows what time they got home to London.

City Removals moved furniture and boxes from our one bedroom flat from Surrey to Hove and the service was excellent, Our removals team arrived promptly at 9am and efficiently packed everything, ensuring all items were packed with care.  They spent a good deal of time working out how to get our large 3 seater sofa out of the flat and into the new one (which DFS had struggled with when they delivered it). Such a relief as I wasn't convinced it was physically possible to get it through the narrow entrance of our new flat! Everything arrived safely and we were at the pub having a celebratory lunch by 2pm.  I would definitely recommend them for a stress-free experience and will use them again myself. .

Very good service, very professional, very nice and polite and hardworking.Everything about the service we received starts with a very in a positive way.To be honest this is what I expected when I booked them, and they kept to their reputation.
Price wise this company was mid to upper range, but is monney well spent as the stress on our move day was ZERO.
The move involved no packing as we have done that ourselves.They came right on time in the morning, got stuck in and finished the job without breakages, missing items etc.
A chap called Adrian was especially nice, and willing to alway go the extra mile.Also extremely quick at taking things apart and putting them back together.
A very good experience and top level of service.

We have temporarily moved from our 4 bed house in kingston to a nearby address while we are doing works to refresh our house.We had this company pack and move all our beginnings in storage for a few months.I will give a full verdict when we get our stuff back, but for the first part of the job I will give them top marks.They also send someone to see our house before the move,a nice lady estimator who was very communicative and polite and told us everything we needed to know about our move day and the services they offer.All our furniture was wrapped for storage and everything was packed properly.Our 4 men crew was made of 3 Romanians and 1 Polish,who all worked extremely hard,were very polite and true experts at what they do.The packing was done very meticulously with no materials sparred to ensure a good service.I have worked before with removal companies, an industry where from my experience is ridden with many cowboys,but this outfit deserves top marks for their work and attitude.

Having had some bad experiences with moving companies before we have decided to thoroughly research the company that will move us this time.
We have selected the top 5 companies from this website and all came around and did a home survey.
From all we have found City Removals to be the most proffesional and Nicola who did the survey left us with a very good first impression.The price was not the cheapest but we felt most confortable with their service so we selected them.
The whole process was as smooth and stress free as I was anticipating.Nothing went wrong..they came on time , did a great packing service.The 4 men team that moved us were polite , spoke good english and we felt in good hands from the moment they came to us.
I would recommend them to anyone that needs to move.

We used City Removals and Storage to move to a new flat in London and we were delighted with the service they provided, and found the price very reasonable. E-mail requests and queries were always dealt with promptly. The movers arrived on time and were extremely efficient, friendly and professional. They also expertly navigated our steep and windy staircase. We made use of the packing service and packing was done very quickly and skillfully. Items arrived securely and undamaged. Bulky flatpack furniture was disassembled and reassembled as needed and they were also happy to remove and recycle unwanted items. We would happily recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Dear All, A few words about my experience with this company.First of all my move was from a 6th floor with lift to a house,from East Londonto Luton.All I can say is that I have never seen such hard working and polite man like their crew.I think they are eastern europeans but you can tell that they care about what they are doing.Nothing went wrong at all with their service.Also 1 day before the move 2 very nice female staff came and packed everitihing for the next day.Realy good service.And all that matters in the end no damages whatsoever to any of my belongings.Top company.If you need a removal firm I would sugest you definitely should consider these guys.
