I hired Charter to move me to PA. I spoke to Alex B. I was told 1 price and then because he didnt do his job, the movers wanted to charge me Another $900 to complete the job. Alex did not give me enough space for my belongings. I gave him a written list of all the property to move and apparently he did not read it. Today I had to rent a uhaul to move my stuff. I called Charter and the manager hung up on me. She was very rude. Yes, I was upset and said a choice word. All I want was the payment for the uhaul returned to me. Now because of this I do not have enough funds to pay anything else needed. I have gone for 2 mos with limited food because I was Saving for this move. I am worse off now than before. I called Mr. GRAY the VP of customers to speak with him about the matter. I am waiting for his call.

I live on a limited income and cannot do this. I am disabled and a Vetetan.

Alex talked me out of the company I was going to use. This man owes me an explanation and apology. The company owes me money and refuses to pay.

Now they say if I put my stuff in storage for 30 days, it will cost me another 300.00 for dlvry. Alex said it would not cost me anything. Im in a huge delima. I need help.

This company provides amazing service and they are my go-to for moving. My friend used them when her family moved a few states away; she said they were great, so I decided to give it a try when my fiance and I bought our first house together halfway across the country. They were extremely careful with all of our furniture, with no damage at all during the move (even the glass!). Moving is a first in my family as we have always lived in the city of New York, so finding a good moving service was always going to be tough. I was recommended to Charter by a family member who also had experience using this service, at the beginning there were some doubts whether or not this was the right choice, but by the end there were no complaints from me and my family.

Customer service was top notch as the staff members were pleasant and reliable when it came to meeting with our schedule. Our furniture and belongings were handled with ease when moving day arrived, the workers were composed and well organized when handling our goods. At arrival there was not a single scratched, damaged or missing package as everything got there perfectly intact. Charter has established themselves as one of the best moving services out there in the market, and its hard to argue against anyone who recommends them.

I couldn't be happier w/ this service. Moving from one place to another has always been a pretty stressful experience for me, so this time I decided to enlist some help. Awesome! We used Charter when we moved from Boston, MA to Jersey City, NJ and then a few months later to Brooklyn, NY. Because of my husband’s work, we’ve moved MANY times, and when we need to move again we will DEFINITELY be using Charter.

In the past, we reached out to a bunch of companies and they were the only company that responded by phone (not just an auto-generated email). They made us feel comfortable with them ahead of time and worked within our budget. With some of our other moves, companies had canceled on us last minute but we had frequent, responsive communication up until the move with Charter and we felt very safe with our choice! On moving day they arrived early, were very careful, and pleasant to work with. Again, we’ve moved many times and this was the best experience we’ve ever had. Thanks, Charter!
