We were referred by a friend who used the company but were still worried about being taken advantage of from what I've read about the industry however the entire experience from speaking with Malik and Zeke to the pick up by Miguel and his team, a brief call with Vivianna and the drop off by Mike was absolutely wonderful!. The team was sincere, friendly, professional and just a pleasure to deal with. We paid for packing and were worried about strangers coming to our home but everyone was so accommodating and went above and beyond. Thank you Century Moving!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2700

I originally hired Coastal Movers who performed a Bait and switch by umbrella company left me with these movers. I didn't have any notice that they would be handling my goods so I didn't get to review them before hand.

Scale weights didn't occur on the day of the move. Lost 500 lbs of my things. Charged me higher rate of $0.75/lb for almost most double the estimated weight which nearly doubled my quote, then lost 500lbs so I paid $375 for the lost goods, only reimburse for $0.10/lb no reimbursement for lost goods.

Special plastic bins purchased for move, bins and boxes destroyed. Several calls to company, promised response, got none.

Goods can't be located and I can't recall every item in those boxes as they were packed almost a year earlier and in storage.

Unloaders were casual labor hired locally and demonstrated little care. Bike broken, antique table broken at main column, heirloom pieces lost/broken.

Dont do it. It appears now that there were several clients who experienced bad service and difficulties. Wondering if we need a class action suit against century and coastal. Sounds like this happens all the time.

I highly recommend Century with every size move- I only moved a mile and needed temporary storage! I continue to be grateful for Century Moving Services moving me a month ago. The guys were patient, courteous, hard working, and attentive. My situation was complicated and we had to change directions a couple of times, and they were up for the task. Moving is one of the most stressful situations in life, and Century made it SO much less stressful. I will definitely use them again! (I had a previous very negative experience moving with a different company, so I was nervous and skeptical, my positive experience is as both a seasoned ‘mover’ and one where they were rebuilding my trust in a moving process- well done Century Moving Services!)

DO NOT USE THEM!! They used to be All Inclusive Moving & Storage, but had 17 Better Business Bureau Complaints over the last 36 months and changed their name to not show the complaints. There aren't enough bad things to say about the company. Everything about them is a scam and I strongly encourage nobody to use them. The packing was horrendous and broke over 2 dozen things. They scammed us on the size of our move to make it bigger and get paid more. Their customer service is terrible. When I called to complain they never called back. I am going to the better business bureau and the FTC to see what my rights are. I would also assume that every 5 star review is bogus because they literally don't care about you or your move and just trying to find ways to add costs and pack as fast as possible with no caring to damage.

I take the time to write a comment to warn people who want to use the "supposed" services that these moving companies offer “AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING and its partner CENTURY MOVING SERVICES” based in Passaic, NJ.

During our process of moving to Florida on November 16th, 2020, we called on this company AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING because the rates they offered were attractive and therefore saved money. During our initial phone call with M. William Jameson, one of the sales representatives of the company, we were "confirmed, certified" that all personal belongings (ranging from clothes to glasses...) would be packed, and therefore protected. In addition, the price that M. Jameson had absolutely confirmed to us corresponding to the list of items that we had precisely described to him (There was no furniture because our home buyer purchased them).

On November 12th, 2020, CENTURY MOVING SERVICES partner of AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING came to pack our belongings. Upon entry, M. Nestor Selay, team leader of the movers, told us that the declared items exceeded the initial amount. We had to add $4,000 from the initial price. First big bad disappointment and lie: M. Jameson; the sale representative had acknowledged receipt of our list of items. Second big bad disappointment and lie (and I will insist on this term because we had to deal with liars from the start until the end), M. Selay and his team's movers did not respect any professional services protocol. They didn’t take the time to pack our belongings as Jameson had sold them to us during our initial phone call. Please take the time to think about it: you take care of your belongings because you care about them; you had paid for these items and, here are companies instead to follow the right professional protocol services, break, and destroy your belongings. How would you react? (Please, I invite you to look at the photos we took when we opened some of our boxes).

Once we arrived in Florida, we contacted the AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING because we wanted to know when the delivery was planned. The company was not clear and demanded that we pay even before the delivery. Even ignoring how this moving process will be completed, we paid, of course. The situation was stressful and unpredictable.

Our boxes finally were delivered: but what was the dreadful surprise to discover that the movers have broken many of our belongings, what a shame! I tried to contact M. Selay, I had no time to explain the purpose of my phone call then he hang up on me (I'll leave it to you to make up your own mind).

To conclude, I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THE SERVICES OF THESE COMPANIES AMERICAN STANDARD MOVING and CENTURY MOVING SERVICES; THIS IS FAR FROM BEING SERIOUS BUSINESSES. WE HAVE BEEN TRAPPED, BY UNPROFESSIONALS. WHAT A SHAME! INDEED, IT IS PREFERRED TO PAY MORE WITH PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES AND THEREFORE BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS IN GOOD CONDITION.

I HOPE THIS REVIEWS WILL HAVE IMPORTANT VISIBILITY. A PROCEDURE IS SETTING UP WITH THE COMPETENT AUTHORITIES.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $10000

I was quoted $2200 but when they arrived to get my items jacked it up another $2600! I had to move so had no choice. Also told I had to pay $1700 cash only on delivery. Moving truck showed a week later. 9 hours late and ONLY ONE SKINNY MOVER. Also half my items destroyed, bent scratched or broke. Mover says they didn’t pack well and it shifted. Then mover left to store and was gone for over an hour. I unloaded most of truck myself..On way out mover drove into newly planted back yard for no reason and then took a power line down and left. I have an estimated $7,000 in damages. All sentimental items destroyed Owner Zeek calls me and offers $350 “good will” then basically calls me a liar for stating $7,000. He said I could say $75k. Horrible service and I’m sure their insurance co wouldn’t like customers operating their lift. I have video and pics of whole ordeal. Will also let IRS know about the cash on delivery as that’s shady.

Was referred by a coworker to use the company he used when he moved. He told me that they told him that they would treat me with the best service known to man. I knew they was over exaggerating but they weren’t far off. The crew Century sent us were PHENOMENAL. They came in early because our elevators weren’t ready yet and they went to wrapping and packing our things. These guys moved faster than a fire drill. Everything was wrapped up in about 2 hours mind you I have a 3 bedroom home. They got everything loaded once the service elevator was ready and they were gone. The delivery was a breeze. I definitely recommend this company 10/10.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2500

The Century Moving Services team arrived and started early, and didn't stop for five hours. They were well-orchestrated, efficient, and quick, all while being extremely careful with our belongings and our home. All of the team members were courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Our move finished under the time allotted, and all our boxes and furniture were placed exactly where we wanted them. I would not hesitate to recommend Century Moving to those in need of professional movers. They are truly the best.

Service cost: $1233

The sales rep gives different estimate and when truck driver comes and after loading all the items, comes up with $1700 over charge saying I have to much items which were reviewed by sales rep. Totally Scam. Never ever go with this company. If you do be prepare to give double the amount. Atlas charged me $2900 for the same items for coming here in Rochester, NY from Chicago, IL. Century charged me $4600 for the less amount of item for moving back to Chicago, IL. I had not purchased any new big furniture in my stay here for 7 months.

Service cost: $4600

They gave us a binding quote of $1,804.20. After everything was loaded on the truck they presented paperwork saying our bill was going to be $4396.81.

They refused to unload our belongings unless we first signed paperwork saying we received all of our property.

The driver, Alex, hired three random guys to meet at my house to unload my belongings. The guys told me they didn't work for Century, and just do this to earn extra money. Alex drug my couch fabric side down on the sidewalk. I also had several damaged pieces of furniture, as well as damages to my house.

Alex then refused to abide by the contract and reassemble the furniture that was disassembled by the company at the pickup. He then called my wife and I liars when we listed everything that was disassembled. He followed that by accusing me of, "Causing Trouble" when I insisted he abide by the contract.

Some of my property was thrown from the truck onto the ground.

I spoke with one of the company partners, Zeke, three times about my dissatisfaction. He stated he has received complaints before about Alex, yet he remains employed. Zeke assured we would resolve this to my satisfaction. Zeke called me back a week later and offered a $200 "Good Faith" refund. I told him that was uscceptable, so he said he would talk to the other partners again. He called back almost two weeks later with an offer of $350. I again said that was unacceptable. We talked a little bit longer, which resulted in him withdrawing his offer, stating that I didn't deserve anything. He then called me a curse word, and hung up on me.

I spoke with Anthony, who was very nice, and told him everything I would be taking with me on this move. I paid the required deposit as required. Once the movers arrived we first sat down to review the cost. Paul, the foreman, walked through my residence and then sat down and told me there would be an additional $1200.00 dollars. I said no way I'm paying that. He called the salesperson Anthony and they talked. Anthony said he would talk to him and have him give me the best discount he could. Paul walked around my residence again and I be damned if he didn't come with another price that wasn't inclusive of the additional $1200 he told me about earlier. My price was now double the original price of $2100.00, he told me it would be $4000. I told him he could leave. There was no way in hell I would pay that price. I would say beware and don't accept what they say. Fortunately, they didn't load anything on the truck. Thank God.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Century Moving Services for the excellent service received a week ago from the courteous crews who did the moving from Newark, New Jersey  to San Antonio, TX. They arrived on time, were very polite and even packed the fragile items with bubble wrap before they moved them and they finished the move in record time! The office staff was also very supportive, they always giving us updates of the move and answered all our queries before and during the move. We are very happy we took up the recommendation and will definitely use them again whenever we move.

I hired Century Moving Services 2 weeks ago. I would like to tell you that this company such a great company. I was looking for a good moving company for a month before I decided to move with them ( It's hard to pick the good one) and I'm very happy that I went with Century Moving Services. Even the office people they were polite, kept in contact with me gave me all the details and also a good price. My move was a big move so I have to hired 5 guys to help me. They had great  teamwork, worked hard, friendly, and professional. They wrapped all my stuff and also double checked that every thing was ok. They took great care all of all my whole move. It was an awesome move that I received from them, they were really flexible and really good with last minute changes. We are happy we picked Century Moving Services  and would definitely use them again as they seem to be one of the better if not best moving companies around. Century Moving Services are not like the usual money hungry relocation companies that we are used to here in NJ. The crew that was sent to me demonstrated great skills and keenness to details; they knew exactly what to do at the right time and in the right way. They are aware of the regulations governing the moving industry, which was helpful because they adapted well to remain on the safe side of the heavy truck loading regulations. They are very dependable and always do a commendable job. There is no other moving company that I will call for any of my colleagues, friends or family.

Simply the best, most reliable, affordable movers I have came across. I called many movers for my relocation to the east coast. Tony (salesman) made the experience so satisfying,accommodating, and such a relief.The quote was slightly higher but the quality of Service I received from the 3 guys that came out to disassemble and pack my china, tv's,boxes and ect. Was the best part of my move. Thanks to Paul one of the guys who packed my belongings he made everything look like a pice of cake..They where done in abt 3 hrs..Everything arrived in the time frame Tony(salesman) stated. I was amazed that I had no damages to none of my furniture and most importantly my china. For that I highly recommend this company.. You guys where Awesome.. Thank you so much for making my move so stress free!

Worst Experience of my Life! My wife and I moved from PA to NJ, aprox 110 miles. We did not have much to move and received a estimate from Century for moving 334 cubic feet. The crew showed up and wrapped up everything in blankets and tape which is another story in this saga. When the truck was loaded, the head mover told me that I had 500 cubic feet of stuff. Now, I understand that I had an estimate but for the estimate to be off by 166 cubic feet is ridiculous. I felt like I was under estimated so this company won my business then made me pay more at the time of the move. When the truck was loaded, the crew would not leave until I paid for the additional money. Here are a couple things that I thought was very wrong.
1. I was charged something like $4.50 for every roll of tape used.
2. The estimate was no where close to the actual footage I had, way under, which I felt was done on purpose.
3. I only had the crew move what was on my inventory, nothing more.
4. The company wanted to charge me $4.88 / cubic foot for the additional 166 cubic feet of space. The original price per cubic foot was $3.25. I would of gladly paid the $4.88 / cubic foot if the crew showed up and had to load items that were not on my inventory.
5. When I called for customer service after the move I was given nothing but attitude by the VP of Operations, Zeke I believe was his name.
6. Zeke told me numerous times that I got a deal for what his crew moved and that the extra $700 was not that much money. Like who is Zeke to tell someone what is or isn't a lot of money.
7. Zeke told me that him returning my call was customer service but provided no sort of customer service at all.

I'm sure there is more but I cannot think of any right now.

I'll try to keep it as short and simple as possible. I went online to look for homes and apartments in Kansas City. Little did I know that I was signing up a for list of movers to call me to offer their business. Although my mind wasn't completely on movers as I thought I was going to move myself, I entertained quotes. Century Moving Services were one of the MANY companies that offered their moving bid. They gave me a great rate and the service far exceeded what I thought movers were capable of. I would gladly refer them to anyone that needs a professional moving company. A+ work all around the board!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1600

Tim was the guy I spoke to on the phone. Knew a lot about moving and gave me a quote for a one bedroom apartment. I shopped around just to make sure that the quote was good. This company was a little higher but it included everything in the service so I decided to go with them because other places tacked on fees for every little thing.

I have a few guitars and a drum set that I asked the guys to be extra careful with. I think one of the guys was Miguel. He made sure everything that was fragile was wrapped up really well in blankets and the other guys helped him.

There were a lot of stairs because I lived in a walk-up apartment. The guys put a lot of energy into moving everything and how to get it down the stairs since it was such a narrow area. Obviously, they were successful and all was good. I moved to a high-rise so It wasn't an issue to get the furniture into the new place. I am sure they were happy about that.

Nice people and an easy move. No complaints.

Using this company was the biggest mistake ever - no, actually not reading the reviews on YELP first was our biggest mistake. Do not be fooled by any nice or professional sounding employees who might happen to answer the phone during your initial call. Just about everything they initially told me was a total lie, they hold your belongings hostage & do not give you an exact delivery date! I could go on & on, but to save myself & anyone who is even thinking about using this "company", please read the reviews & do NOT!!
