This is by far my worst experience with any company. They quoted one price they demanded $1,000 more, despite each item was listed on my inventory quote. They parked illegally, then charged me for the $75 ticket. They delivered late, and then charged me an addition $350 carrying fee but refused to measure, and I was right next to the elevator. They refused to wear a mask, had no tools to build the furniture, broke my two best pieces, and lost 2 boxes. The driver broke the garage loading fence, but most importantly, they threatened my son if we complained. We have now been waiting over six months for the claim. Only to find out that the only want to pay me $67!

STAY AWAY for this moving company!!! They are immoral!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Everyone we dealt with was very nice. Sadly, that does not compensate for the damage done to our belongings. You would think that a long distance moving company would protect large pieces of furniture with more than 1 moving blanket, but they did not. As a result, things that were stacked rubbed through the blankets and gouged many pieces of furniture. Also, the moves used packing tape directly on our wood furniture marring the finish. Some items were broken on arrival and the driver told us he picked them up that way from storage. We could have been notified. I would not recommend them simply because of the way they packed our things. Interestingly, the items we packed ourselves arrived in perfect condition.

I got a job transfer from Manhattan to Miami last month. A colleague at work had used Century’s services before and recommended them. The cost was quite fair and hey did a great job across the board. They were very aware of safety issues and their moving team wore protective gear throughout the process.

Our things were packed up and transported on time and the moving team kept us posted on the delivery tracking when we asked them for a status. They were easy to reach and texted us right back which we really appreciated.

Overall, a very painless moving process and we are happily settled into our new condo.

Moving is the worst for many reasons, but their service made a challenging experience much more manageable throughout the process.

One year ago, we bought all new costly furniture, and we were concerned about the move. Century Moving Services were highly responsive and had a team of qualified personal handling our things with extortionary care.

The move itself was nothing but flowless, with a large clean truck alongside an eight-person crew that came bright and early filled with energy and motivation—everyone wearing a mask and keeping social distancing. Luciano, their supervisor, was very, very knowledgeable. He arrived first in the house, and we went over everything with him ONCE, and he got it. We are in a temporary location as we are building a home, and we will move again in a few months. I’m not looking forward to the move but knowing that I will be using Century Moving Services again defiantly makes me sleep better at night.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

These guys cancelled on us twice (day one the truck was broken, day two the whole crew was sick), charged way over the quote and added a whole bunch of additional fees. They were unprofessional, would not let us verify the space they said we used.

Hands down the best moving company ever. We shopped around so much for a good moving company and the prices were up high. Century moving service was able to accommodate me on the last minute and not only that. They gave me an amazing price compared to the other company. They were able to come late and finish at 1 am. The Forman Miguel was the best him and the other helpers ( Angelo, Carlos, victor and Jose) they were able to pack all my kitchen and bedrooms very professionally without any damage . All my expensive chinaware was in excellent condition nothing damaged at all. They even were able to keep my stuff for two days in their warehouse cause that’s when I was getting my new house and on Saturday they came early in the morning and unpacked everything in there rooms in only 3 hours. They are liars. DavidRhoda the contact person who offered attractive moving prices was all sweet talk until the day of the move!

Once his foreman arrived on the day of the move, it was a whole 180 degrees turn in attitude and behavior.

My move cost more than double the cost.

I had no choice but to stick with them as the change of rate was so last minute.

I was shocked,horror stuck, disappointed and disgusted.

I will say this, do not go with them. They will corner you and act like the most accommodating and reasonable movers available and you will be in for a nasty surprise in the end.

I had insisted that David Salem’s me some one to estimate my move , but he had insisted that if I already had some one give me a quote that was similar to his after looking at it first hand, then he does not have to do so. He repeatedly re assured me that there would be no surprises on the day of the move and there would be transparency .

He said packing charges were included and so was the time for their commute and toll, yet when the Forman came over on the day of, he added four hours to the total move , $450 extra for packing, two additional hours for commute and a couple hundred more for toll. So much for the promised transparency that was just BS!

One very bad and unpleasant experience.

Enough to never ever go with them or recommend them to any friends or family!

We had an UNBELIEVABLY GREAT experience with Century Moving Services. They absolutely went above and beyond. From the minute we called the staff was friendly and found us an opening that was perfect for us. We had a really hard move and they understood that. We had temporary housing and they understood our concern, packed our items in a POD and then made the appt to unpack us when we were ready. The movers were so great we requested them on the unpack and they were there on time and in a great mood. They didn't scratch or break anything. I will absolutely recommend them and am so grateful for their services

About 5 years ago I used Century Moving Services to move within NYC. I really liked their service all around starting from their office staff (my sales rep was David, he was great and always available), the driver/head manager and helpers were also great, so I decided to give them a shot to move me to Maryland. Fortunately, the same sales rep helped me, and the company’s staff/workers were again great. They were all professional and experienced and handled the furniture with care. However, the move cost was more than what we budgeted for, but it was because we needed help with pictures, mirrors, kitchenware, and personal items (full packing service) and everything was packed carefully. Upon delivery, the crew placed everything in the proper rooms or where we instructed them to.

Let me start by saying .... I HATE MOVING. Now that we got that out the way, let me tell you about my Century moving services experience. It started with a request for a quote from multiple moving companies of which I received wildly different numbers from different companies. When I reached out to Century, the sales rep David wouldn't provide me a quote without coming to see my home, how many rooms it had, how much furniture, and the layout.

This let me know the quote I would receive from century would be the real deal.

The communication leading up to the move date was great and Joe from dispatch told me exactly what to expect.

Now things got a little tricky on the move date because an unexpected snowstorm was forecasted. The team of century movers arrived early and quickly got to work. They were careful with our furniture and wrapped some of the pieces twice.

Once we arrived at the new house it in fact started snowing heavily. I was concerned they would mark up my brand new hardwood floors on my new construction home. I voiced my concern to the foreman Miguel and they laid paper sheets down on my floors which fully protected them. When the paper sheets would get wet and start to tear, they would lay down new paper.

Once the job was complete, they picked up all the paper, all the wrapping and left no garbage behind.

I am not the type of person to leave reviews however, I had to do the right thing for century, they took care of me from start to finish.

Century moving was the only company I could find 2 days prior to my move. Booking manger tim spoke very clear English and he knew exactly what I was saying. I had a Jersey to Jersey move about 10 miles. They came to pick up my stuff around 8am and packed all my stuff in boxes and finished the delivery same day around 11pm. They had many little guys moving my things and they were able lift my huge furniture. It was very surprising to see how they managed to carry my stuff without breaking them. I guess it’s a combination of lucky and experience. There was a master manager with the crew and he made sure everything was on his inventory list and things was warped w blanket and bubble. Manager name on my job was Jimmy. One guy rubbed the Matress on the stairway down and make a little scuffle on the wall but that’s happen. Manager called the office and they did the right thing and gave me a discount on the packing material after this incident. After all said and done this job cost me more money than my initial estimate but I had a lot of extra work and stuff for them to carry. I don’t want to hurt my back carrying heavy stuff these guys do it every day. I rather spend some money and not break my back. I will definitely use them again. Tim promised me a discounted rate for my next move. Thank you century people for the help and may god bless you guys!!!

First I must thank John,  my sales person at cenrtury moving for such a seemless relocation from New Jersey to Georgia He was very hands on from start to Finnish,  my family and i moved from a 3 bedroom apartment within time records my Shippment was arrived 2days later. not to metion  Nestor our foreman  with  4 professionals crew these guys was a amazing, punctual and so organized, they made our move so easy and stress free. will recommend Century Moving Company to anyone that's moving.

I would like to start off by saying as we ALL know is moving is extremely stressful and at times frustrating. This last move was something for the record ! We hired Century Moving Company to move our 4 bedroom house to a new property not to far away. We were so behind on packing and wrapping and all the bells and whistles that come with it. The most incredible team showed up and with such care , Professionalism and patience swooped in and with incredible vigilance did it ALL for us. All the furniture and bedding etc that they dismantled was reassembled perfectly as well as placed throughout the house in the proper spots as we requested . Dealing with Century has been the absolute best and painless experience in moving to our new home . Starting from Sales representative :Tim Powell, office manager Wendy, on the day of the move foreman /crew manager Nestor, driver Robert, and all the helpers has been nothing short of an absolute pleasure to deal with we are so thankful to ALL of the staff at Century moving company and would ONLY recommend them for anyones moving needs.

To whom it may concern,

I hire century moving service on August 3, 2022. Agent in charge Miguel, they break down my medium freezer and broken bookshelves. They had an Anthem insurance policy that would not cover anything. The delivery driver claims the truck was a breakdown they took 5 hours delayed behind The expected time and driver failed to deliver items where I want Miguel say the box was too heavy and also charged an additional 70 dollars extra to the original bill which was already discussed. For those who received a good service all I can say is lucky you. I follow the instructions provided by Anthem insurance. In conclusion, they send a letter offering a value of 60 dollars for medium freezer damage that cost over five hundred dollars. Be aware of the scam company. Century Moving services appear very tricky with the white and yellow form receipt. Service is not good. I would not suggest anyone deal with them. Due to the fact unprofessional staff and unreasonable insurance affiliated or associated with them to trick a customer.

Where do I start? I had an urgent move that suddenly came up due to a job transfer. I searched the web for a moving company and couldn’t get anyone to call back until I called Century Moving. My call was immediately answered by a professional office staff. I went over the details and told them the urgency. The lady in the office set me up with an appointment the same day. I received a call from their representative Zeek, he advised me that he could actually come out an hour earlier than schedule to look over my home and get me a quote.

I was very thankful for his prompt service and more than fair quote. He gave me one on the spot. He supplied all of the boxes, bubble wrap, moving blankets and more importantly the professional labor to come to my home, work with my wife and I and pack our contents into boxes. They labeled them by room and similar item types. They provided wardrobe boxes. They promptly loaded all of our things into their trucks and left off to our new home.

We stayed in a hotel overnight as they had to drive 10 hours to our new place. The following day we met up at our new home. While the kids played in the backyard on the swing set (we asked them to set this up first), my wife and I worked with their crew leader to go over which rooms were which.

The crew worked to reassemble the furniture. And help us get our boxes to each room. They had a few extra people there that day as per our request to help us get the kitchen set up. Their guys worked around our cleaning crew and put everything away as my wife pointed and clicked (lol).

Within 72 hours we were out of one home and into our new home. The staff went above and behind by breaking down all of the boxes, tied them up and placed them in our garage so we could recycle them. They put all the paper from wrapping glass items as well as the bubble wrap into garbage bags for us and offered to dump them at their dumpster.

All in all, we could not be more impressed as this was our 3rd career oriented move of an entire family and this was the easiest of all. Without Zeek of Century Moving, this would have been a disaster. He is a master of what he does.

From our family to yours, thank you for going the extra mile (well 578 miles to be exact) to make this as painless as possible. If we every need or anyone we know needs a moving crew, we will 1000% recommend you from coast to coast.
