Long-distance move from Barrie, ON to Surrey, BC

Caused more damage than cost of the move!

I moved from Ontario to British Columbia back in the Summer and did not have much, so the cost Atlantic gave me was reasonable. Jennifer in customer service was great and very responsive, but that was where my positive experience ended.

The drivers showed up at my house to pick up my stuff four hours late, tracked mud and dirt all throughout my place, left garbage from their tape, wrap and stickers all over, plus they broke the legs off my desk right in front of me; stating to submit a claim to the office and I'll be reimbursed for it. Ha!

Then a few weeks later my stuff arrived in BC.. my two TVs (55" curved and 70" 4K UHDTV) were smashed, an ottoman I had was completely missing, and all of my boxes were caved in (crushed) with all glass or delicate objects within, smashed.

I filed an incident report with the office, hoping to be compensated and I was offered $55 - for $5,000 worth of damage! I didn't think I needed coverage against reckless, negligent behavior, but I was wrong. I went so far as to research my rights under the consumer protection act and there aren't any. 60 cents per pound of damaged goods is it! Well, TVs don't weigh much, but they cost a ton so I had to replace those, my ottoman, ironing board, bbq, and desk legs MYSELF!

What a racket to be in! You can charge for a service, then treat the goods you're transporting like absolute garbage, and be held zero percent accountable! Great lesson for me I guess. Buyer beware! Atlantic gets paid for doing nothing and guarantees even less!

Don't even consider it.

OMG First off our estimate of $865 cost us $3380. Almost every piece of furniture has some degree of damage (scratches, chips out of wood, broken and missing hinges). Several boxes have items smashed inside. So many keepsakes destroyed. ?? They caused damaged to 1 door,2 floors, heater cover and light cover in the new house. Household items and boxes(clearly labeled)were left in sheds and garage. Not to mention the ignorance and arrogance we dealt with. I've included some pics but there is way too many to post them all.
PLEASE DON'T REPEAT OUR MISTAKE.

Aweful.. Do not use this company.

Do not use this company if you value your things. Accidental damage happens but this was abusive. Six legs ripped off one peice of furniture, carpet dragged possibly through gravel pilling and falling apart, dented metal tool box, plastic bowels and coffee machines bent and damaged to the point of cracking. When tryi g to contact the company good luck. You adjuster will only reply by email. No one will have a conversation and all say they are sorry for you experience. Insurance? $0.60 per lb not even close to enough. I had multiple pieces of furniture destroyed tv's dented boxes and iteam inside crushed (even when marked fragile this side up) on its side. I was offered $30 compensation. After multiple emails to only recieve the same standard we appoligize email is not ok. I have no option but to go to court. Good luck to anyone who uses this company.

Long-distance move from Edmonton, AB to Kelowna, BC

Do Not Use This Company if You Value Money.

I had been applying to companies locally to move from Edmonton to Kelowna (9 hour trip) and I had only 850lbs worth of items to move. Jen Krish the general manager from Atlantic Van Lines had messaged me with a quote of 835$. This seemed very reasonable. They charge based on 5 factors : first 500lbs, additional weight per 0.42 cents per pound after 500lbs, destination fee, scale and taxes. I paid the non refundable 350$ to reserve my spot after getting my initial 835$ quote. She had not mentioned anywhere on email that they also charged a non transparent fee for space accompanied by pounds after I had paid. No where on their website even states this. The quote for my roughly 850lbs move went up to almost double the price. She stated that It would require a 2110lb move and this is what she charged me for. I then asked why this went up so much because my items were very small in size, like dumbbells weighing 300lbs. She had no good reply, wouldn't call me to discuss. And when I called the company Jen was not available to discuss only to email me in which she stopped after saying she cancelled my reservation but would not refund me? The lady I spoke with also didn't have an answer for how many cubic feet of space it is for the original quote of 835$. She also didn't know much about prices at all and didn't have answers for me, meaning they make stuff up on their own and write their own rules. I am down 350$ without a refund because of their ridiculously high post quote. Let alone Jen took my transfer straight to her own account not even to the companies. This is a very shady buisiness. They are not transparent about prices at all. Don't get fooled by the original quote. I am not going to go through with this company. Every 5 star review is faked. They do not charge the total price up front means they will charge ridiculously high prices once delivered and hold your stuff until you pay, they damage items and are extremely rude. Do not let them do this, if you reply to this post I will be happy to share my emails with you regarding my conversation with Jen. Thanks for taking my hard earned money for nothing! If zero stars is an option I would have done this.

During last 25 years, I moved New Found land to BC for my job and more than 10 movers move my household but I released that Atlantic Van Lines is the worst, from office staff to delivery persons. They charged for packing but dump all things including glass items in wardrobe. They completely deny to pay anything.Van driver who deliver the household have no professional manner, he was every time in fighting mood.

They do not care about you or your stuff.

The guys who loaded our stuff were running late so they rushed to throw our stuff in the truck. They were not careful with any of our things, or our house. They were ramming their dolly into doorways in their rush. Of course our stuff was delivered on the last day of their estimate, in the middle of a storm. The drivers were so eager to get home before the storm worsened, so they started unloading before we were there and could look at the items. Even though each item was already numbered, THEY WROTE ON EACH ITEM WITH PERMANENT MARKER with a big 2, I suppose to make it easy to tell between shipments. Of course the company called those stained and said they weren't covered by the insurance. So they permanently damaged our bins and furniture, etc. and refused to compensate us in any way. Several of our things were broken and missing. I can understand accidents happen, but to purposefully mark our furniture and not care at all just boils my blood. I don't know how people can sleep when they do business this way.

Long-distance move from Montreal, QC to Edmonton, AB

Worst service ever!

Feb 3 – original quote for 1000lbs came to a total of $1010

March 27- asked for an updated quote at 3000lbs to be on the safe side. Came to a total of 1885 lbs. in email response she wrote that the wuote includes all fuel, labor, mieage, room to room service, blanket wrapping

March 30 - Will the rates change if they are not able to get a truck and trailer in? As I said before it is rural. The driveway is not that long but they will not be wanting to carry stuff up it and I am not sure there will be room for a 53' truck and trailer.

In this case our truck is unable to get within 100 feet to the main entrance then a long carry fee would be applicable or we may have to arrange for shuttle service. Would you be able to send us a photo of your driveway or provide the pick-up address?

Provided photo of driveway along with delivery address as asked for.

It will either be a 24’ or 28’ truck used for the pick-up, therefore I do not anticipate any issues with this. In the case a long carry fee is applicable this is dependent on the size of your shipment and the distance from the truck to your home. (Did not inform me long haul carry fee is a minimum of $250 - even if shipment is not that large plus cost of shuttle truck

Sent $400 deposit along with information required to book.

April 13 – Was sent a spreadsheet to fill out – weight came back very high so I asked if I could do it once I had a more accurate inventory of items. She said it would not be an issue. She judged my weight at 4340lbs with an updated price of $2581.80

April 14 – Sent a list of possible additional charges - nothing out of the ordinary

May 8 – I sent updated inventory list. She replied saying that she estimated my move to be 2000 lbs with another new quote of $1365.

May 9 - We will be able to provide you with your total balance in advance of the delivery date so you can prepare a method of payment.

From the date of the departure (Not from the pick up date), from the origin province dispatch, it will take approximately 5 – 12 days to arrive to our local dispatch in Calgary, AB and this is only the transit time, not including delivery. Once the goods arrive and are available for your delivery, we will call to arrange a delivery on our next available date to your new home.

Once the delivery date is set you will be called the day prior to confirm your delivery address and how you will be handling the payment. Once the movers arrive at your destination, we will collect payment and then offload into your new home.

May 15 – I was away for the weekend, they called for an updated invenroty list which had not changed from the last one. They are now saying the minimum weight charge is 4730 lbs with a price tag of $2784.60

I called and said I did not agree with the charges and to stop at 3000lbs as it was not in the budget to pay for that much. I also sent an email. They claim they did not receive it until after the truck had already picked up my items, I asked for an actual scale receipt and they would not provide me with one since my items were under the minimum weight.

May 21 – Got an email with the total for $2637.23

Now saying they will provide one days notice before arrival of items. Also stating that they do not charge for 5 steps leading up to home. At pickup they said there would be a $125 charge for stairs unless we tipped them $20 each which we did so $60 total.

May 22 – Was told departure from Quebec of the truck was scheduled closer to the 26 of may and it would take approx 5-10 business days once the truck departed and would go to Calgary first. Said lets touch base at the end of next week.

May 29 – I receive a phone call saying they will be here Sunday – this leaves me no time to get to the bank for payment. I arrance to send two etransfers since I have a limit on what I can send in a day. We booked off Monday to go away for the weekend, had to come home early as they would not let me reschedule for another day. The only option was 3pm-9pm on Sunday for delivery, I again ask what size of truck will be coming as I am not sure a large one will fit. If that is the case we will need to arrange for a shuttle truck to which I responded I would not pay for that because we were told a 24-28ft truck would be coming, He said he had not heard of that before but that he was looking at the map and id not see any issues with the truck being able to get in.

May 31 – They arrive about 5:30pm. They say they are unable to back the truck up the driveway. They go call the dispatch who then calls me and asks how I want to proceed. She gives me two options 1) Have it sent down to Calgary warehouse and arrange shuttle from there. 2) we would normally arrange shuttle but because of the time and it being a Sunday we aren’t able to do that. She asks if I have a friend or family member with a trailer I can borrow. I said if that’s the case we have a flat deck,.

Move from Ontario toNew Brunswick.

DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS!!

If I could give a negative rating I would. I too saw some of the negative things posted by this company but ignored them. Lesson to self DON'T IGNORE THE REVIEWS!!

My move cost in excess of $18,000.00. There was thousands of dollars in damages to our property and the offered $50. after a $325. deductible.

They treated our belongings like they were taking out the trash. All furniture items they wrapped were damaged. Antiques were damaged. They broke the leg off my solid wood king sized bed. Boxes we had packed and labelled as glass and fragile were crushed from having heavier items piled on top.

When they brought our items to our home they were to arrive in the morning on a Sunday. They arrived after 4:30 with only 2 people to unload a 52 ft trailer of belongings. They even asked us if we knew anyone that could help unload "we pay cash". Contract stated room to room delivery and our entire home was dumped in our garage and living room. They did carry our bed upstairs but that was broken so no help to us anyway. The driver stated if we wanted them to place it in proper rooms we would have to pay more? Did you note the move was over $18,000.? They didn't finish the unloading until after 11pm.

I could write a book on the way we were treated, the way Anita spoke to me once the had our items and could hold our lives in limbo was beyond anything I have ever experienced. I was in a truck making a 15 hour drive with livestock and other animals and she wanted to unload our stuff at the home we purchased without us being there. The house hadn't even closed yet and Anita threatened that she would lock our belongings in Moncton until we came up with a cashiers cheque to pay the $18,000 by the time we get to the house. Uhm Covid and I'm driving, I'm expected to isolate once we get to our new home and this person wants a cashiers cheque.

We did file a claim with them and yup 10 weeks went by and I contacted them to see where they were at. $50. yup $50. that was the offer for our damaged life. Clearly we will never be compensated for the loss and the aggravation but I would hate to have anyone go through this. Hopefully Karma is a thing.

Awful

I used Atlantic Van Lines to move, a lot of my furniture was destroyed during the move, they stored my furniture for 2 days before delivering, and obviously, they were tossing around my stuff and didn't care to handle it properly! 10 weeks after filing the claim they offered me $30 for the damages including a side lamp, bed frame, Dresser, and turntable, they informed me that I purchased the basic coverage and that basically they owe me nothing, although I wasn't offered any other coverage and even if I only had the basic coverage why is it ok that I paid this company to move my furniture and then having it completely destroyed! I ended up spending almost the same amount of the fee they charged me for the move just to replace all the stuff that was destroyed during the move. PLEASE don't use their service just because they are a cheaper option than other reputable companies because you will end up spending a lot of money repairing the damages done.

Absolutely deplorable experience (and I never write bad reviews).

Absolutely deplorable experience (and I never write bad reviews). The company was to move my condo from Toronto to Calgary. They estimated 2 weeks and $1,100. They delivered more than two weeks late and charged 70% more than they quoted, which I had to pay BEFORE receiving my things. 4/50 boxes never arrived and several of my things were completely destroyed. They have not responded to either the missing items or compensation for destroyed property.

Cross Canada move fiasco

I will never recommend this company to anyone. They damaged or lost at least 3 of my items. They took well over a month to move my stuff across country. To my own error in judgement, they overcharged me for my load as I was ignorant to the minimum weight charge. So for twice as much as I thought I'd spend, I now have a broken boxspring and bicycle, that took 40 days to arrive.

Also, without any real notice of arrival, I was left trying to coordinate payment to them without paying with credit card as it would cost an additional 3% to charge it. Unfortunately I was out of province for work and only made things more difficult.

Never again.

DO NOT USE / TRUST THE REVIEWS

Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews first. Calgary to NS, price doubled from what I was quoted to what I actually paid. Atlantic damaged just about every piece of furniture I had, lost a few of my boxes but I gained a few of someone else’s. The best part was , the delivery truck on the NS end was a 53 ‘ semi which decided on his own that he could drive across the neighbours front yard to get to my garage. He was struck for about an hour before getting a tow out, tore the yard all to pieces and said Atlantic would cover the damage. When I contacted Atlantic , they told me my neighbours insurance would have to cover it . This company is the biggest joke out there, I wish I could post pics just to show you what the idiots did to the yard. For god sakes ppl , listen to these reviews, if not mine everyone else’s. I really don’t know how companies like this are allowed to operate.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Their price kept changing and they kept increasing the weight. They are very careless with your stuff and don’t give a damn if they damage it because they have no intention of paying you the value. I shipped 3 pieces of antique furniture, 10 boxes and 25 bins - furniture arrived broken and almost all the bins were damaged. One box was even ripped open. Very expensive move from Ontario to BC especially when most of it arrived broken and damaged. They asked me to fill out a claim and put the cost of each item - that as a waste of time! They pay you sixty cents a pound and then tell you there is a deductible - total bullshit! To add insult to injury they offered me $20 for the damage to my 200 year old buffet. NEVER EVER AGAIN! They deserve a minus 10 rating.

Avoid... Nightmare

Thousands of dollars in damage to my furniture and effects. Literally every item was broken or scuffed in some way. They even broke into our armoire, literally broke the lock and stole the cheap jewelry we put in there. Who steals cheap jewelry!? They were probably hoping we would keep our good stuff in there.

Rude service, especially from the Alberta dispatcher. We waited for 6 hours for the movers to show up, then was told that the movers weren’t going to be there for another 3 days! We were told this after waiting, on the day of, and that was after I called the day before to ensure they were coming. I called home office and they got a truck to come out the next day, but wait there’s more... They then came with a truck too small to fit our stuff and tried to charge us to come back and get the rest of the stuff lol (Probably because dispatch was upset we called home office). Because this happened they voided my 5% military discount. Dispatch was rude and angry after I called home office to get an answer on why they weren’t coming the day they were supposed to. I did this after she told me to suck it up, and that the movers weren’t coming for three days and I was gonna have to “deal with it”!!! The dispatcher then called head office to head off my complaint, the audacity. The movers finished the job on the day dispatch said they would be there, 3 days after the initial pick up date. Likely intentional.

We were out 100’s of dollars for cancelled hotel fees that we booked for our travel to our new home in Ontario. Had to sleep in a hotel for two days in Alberta because they took our bed on the first move day (my wife was pregnant, so I didn’t want her to sleep on the floor). We had to extend our rent and push back our plans.

A lot of hidden fees, the cost started at 1100 ended up paying almost 10, 000$. No joke... The initial form you fill out to get a estimate of the weight for your goods will criminally under quote you, then bam, 1100$ quote turns into 6000$. They will tell you that you will have to fill out another quote that they will send by email and will be more accurate. Mine was sent the day the movers showed up (after I called).

The movers showed up unprepared and I had to go to Uhaul to buy the boxes for them to store my stuff in! They taped everything, so the inside of the fridge and all my appliances and furniture have the brown left over marks from the tape. Everything is either dented or out right broken. I seriously don’t know how they managed to break everything.

Filed a claim for all the broken goods and they wanted to give me 30$ and said if I wanted better service I should have bought better insurance. Really I should of hired a better company, and so should you... All I wanted was to have my stuff moved, is it to hard to ask to not break everything?!

Because the company can only, apparently, move stuff once a month, I had to have them ship to a storage unit or pay them a 450$ storage fee (my house was not ready yet) and pay them 1500$ to unload my stuff! It still cost me an additional 900$ to hire another moving company to move from the storage unit to my house (These movers were amazing by the way).

Do yourself a favour and hire from the bigger more professional companies, any savings or quotes they give are not the real amount you will be charged. These guys should be in jail or out of business, do the World a favour and take your hard earned money to a professional moving company... What a nightmare... Avoid!

Don't get fooled by their slick website, they are dishonest.

Once these clowns have your deposit you are a hostage. They request a list of goods then refer you to "dispatch" to wait for their call. It comes in the day before with a demand for additional funds ($2000) in my case or they won't show. Like you have any choice! They cram your goods in a beat up leased truck with sub contracted help. Once they leave your house, the calls begin. " Your goods are overweight and you have to pay more. Later in the day a second call, again a higher weight guess. They jumped from 8000-10000 to 16000 to 20000 lbs. Then the last call comes. Hooray, you came under the estimate on scale so you only pay for 20000 lbs. And because you are under, no scale documents will be provided. This is only the beginning...Once they are gone with your stuff, they say they don't know where your belongings are or when they will arrive. Again, wait for a "dispatch" call the day before delivery. In our case it took 2 weeks. When their next subcontractors showed up with our goods they demanded $2000 cash on the spot or they would not go up any stairs. We declined. They offloaded as fast as possible leaving about 25 boxes(as pictured) outside. Then left.

We had 2 large screen tvs smashed. About 20 other items well packaged crushed. Broken furniture. Upon reporting it Jenn KIRSH reappears and empathetically writes that their claims specialist Heidi Kleitz will process the claim in 8-10 weeks. And right on schedule after 11 weeks she offers $30 if you sign off on the $1000's of damage.

So, to summarize...

-The free storage came with a $295 charge

-no official weightscale documents or invoices were provided

- no timelines are assured/ they evade the question until they have your goods. Then it is a "dispatch " issue.

- weight estimates were increased 250%

-damages although excessive are adjudicated at 60 cents per pound. So a 20 lb TV is worth $ 12 in compensation(unless you purchase their extra special insurance). They accept no responsibility for their reckless disregard of your valuables.

But wait, there is a $325 deductible so they claim I owe them $233.20 for their negligence! As a sign of their goodwill, they offered me that feelgood comprehensive offer of a $30 refund. Industry leading for sure.

Movers claim they know nothing of Atlantic and just move goods.

-Charged 15% hst on full value for move from Ontario to Nova Scotia + additional 3% for payment by credit card

It's all been said before. Google the CBC Marketplace show on them. Scammers.

Jenn Kirsh and Heidi Kleitz hide from social media. Maybe a touch paranoid?

Corporate address is a strip mall in Scarborough. No office you can visit.

No BBB affiliation.

Shame on me for not doing better research. Others before me had the same experience. This Company needs to come clean and provide honesty and clarity in their operations. Oh wait, they donate a portion of your money to the Children's Wish charity!!! How Corporately responsible of them!

Don't be scammed like me (Read and watch the CBC reporting)

CBC Marketplace did a show on this company to inform the world that this company is a scam. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUNsndIL1bg

We unfortunately did not know about this before we hired them. In a nutshell, here is our story. (We kept all emails and we are willing to share if you ask us. lucia.patrick1507@gmail.com).

We hired this company to move from Toronto to Ottawa. I was in communication with Jen Kirsh the sales manager. One of the reasons I hired them is that she wrote to me that all our stuff would be protected with cloth. (A standard practice, but I wanted to make sure that the was no misunderstandings.)

On moving day, the movers were horrible! They would not wear masks even after I informed them that my wife was pregnant. The movers informed me that because my apartment was more than 100 metres away from the truck, I would need to pay an extra 600$ fee, but this could be avoided if I gave them a big tip. I called and spoke to one of the colleagues of Jen Kirsh. She called them and nothing changed. The movers informed me that they are subcontractors and that they don’t care of repercussions as moving companies need them. The movers told me that they won’t tag our stuff as it will not be transferred to another truck or warehouse. It will be driven directly to Ottawa. They also refused to get the last 3 pieces of our stuff in our apartment. I had to get it myself and I saw them load it in the truck. (Mysteriously, those three things, which includes my hockey gear never made it to Ottawa.)

I complained to Jen Kirsh the next day. She said that nothing can be done about the poor service and denied that the movers were subcontractors. She assured me that a different team of movers would be delivering our things in Ottawa. As for the 600$ additional fee, it was in the fine

print, and I should have known. (Which apartment in a 30 story apartment building is located less than a 100 metres from where the truck is parked? Would it not have been ethical to not put that in the fine print and even better to have mentioned this?) If I didn’t pay the remainder 50% of the balance, I would not be getting my stuff.

Our stuff was delivered as planned in a different truck with a different crew of movers. They told me that because I had 6 steps and not 5 from the ground to the door, I would have to pay an additional 600$ fee. (I settled on giving all four movers a 50$ tip to save 200$ in total.)

Except for 1 item, none of our things were wrapped with clothes. The ‘head’ mover, Erol, admitted that this was a scam. He gave me his telephone number after I had asked for it in case I would need to contact him if I wasn’t going to be compensated. I was never able to speak to Jen Kirsh again as she got her calls screened.

The person responsible for claims, Anita Kleitz, never wanted to speak to me on the telephone. She didn’t acknowledge that our things were never wrapped or that things got lost or that our stuff was moved from one truck to another. I received a 70$ compensation for this horrible and dangerous service (The movers in Toronto didn’t want to wear masks.)

If the time I invested in writing to review can avoid someone else from getting scammed, it was worth it. If you have questions, my email address is above.

Oh and of course, I ended up paying more than twice the amount in the quote that was given to me. Shame on them for scamming people. Hopefully the government will regulate this one day.

Long-distance move from Surrey, BC to Edmonton, AB

Damaged furniture, unreasonable delay, dishonesty of the managemnet

The current manager JK is dishonest, to start, anytime you call she ain’t available but she instantly replies to emaila.Isn’tit sleethy? Scared to be confronted about what she lies to you via emails. She told me my cargo had left the origin and indeed it left the origin one day before delivery, the delivery driver had a nice talk with me. That’s about the delay of the delivery. Another issue is that all, literally every piece of furniture delivered by the VanLines, was damaged, the worst is the mattress covered in oil and grime, the mattress base, all wardrobes chipped, dented, and scuffed. Stay away from this company at all costs. Better pay more for a more reliable mover than save money(AtlanticVanlines charge hidden fees just so you know)with these unprofessional movers.

Horrible Service. **Dont use them **

Crappy Company. I would not recommend anyone to use this as your mover company. They are just a huge name minting money. Staff is terrible. The movers who came to my appartment was a miserable man. They asked me to buy my own boxes, pack my own stuff and threw, mishandled my stuff. I’ve never had such a poor experience with any Canadian company before. These guys are just horrible and miserable. The mover humiliated, insulted and yelled at me because I complained against him that he Didn’t have enough supplies. I wish I could attach the pictures of how they packed my stuff in grocery bags and my garbage bins. Please don’t fall in their big name look for smaller local company, they will be able to take care of your stuff better.

Disgusting Service

These people treated our beloved belongings like garbage. We specifically went to U-Haul to get all of our packing materials and boxes so as to have higher quality packing supplies. But that doesn't matter when they throw your things around and stack all your fragile boxes on the bottom of a stacked pile. I've only uploaded a couple of photos but my wife and I have a while album as proof how how much they will care for other people's belongings. They ruined our queen sized mattress even though I bought and wrapped it in a heavy duty cover. It looks like they dragged it behind the truck while moving. It was torn apart and cover in oil stains. The same goes for our bed frame, which was also covered in oil and grease. For the life of me I also don't understand how they managed to break my tiller, they bent the metal frame on it. Nothing it seems was safe from their complete disregard for our belongings. Lamps broken, antique dishes shattered, a wooden chest was turned into kindling, wedding gifts pulverized, etc. The list goes on. But in the end they did offer us compensation after 6 months of back and forth emails for a total of $30 Canadian (After paying them +$11,000 and waiting for the worst pick up and drop off times). If I had to move across three provinces again I would do it myself and save my wife and I the heart break and the sleepless nights of playing "what if we hired a different company". I would never recommend these people to anyone.

Also they will throw in hidden fees like a "canoe handling fee"

Long-distance move from Ontario to Alberta

Fast and efficient

I moved from Toronto to Alberta. I got my items in a very short period of time. They offered free storage for Upto a month. Nothing was broken. The movers were very delivery with the stuff. They were extremely professional and friendly. They were very quick in loading and unloading. Jen was super supportive through out the process. One of my box was missing and she’s guided me to fill a claim. The overall experience was superbly positive and I’m happy with their service. Thank you Atlantic Van Lines for helping me with the move!

Too much damage

WARNING WARNING. WARNING:

If you are planning a move and you intend to use this company…DO NOT use them. They don’t care about your items. It’s loaded and offloaded so many times, stuff gets a lot of damage. I had so much stuff damaged in my move from Alberta to Ontario and when I put in my claim they would only cover $30. It doesn’t matter that my antique ROLLTOP DESK got smashed, and another antique piece had gouges in it, it doesn’t matter that my cat tree got broken half, it doesn’t matter that I had to go buy a new coffee maker, it doesn’t matter that my dresser is now missing a corner…plus other items…it doesn’t matter that we missed a day in travel, because the movers couldn’t show up on time, plus we had to do their paperwork! No, don’t go with this company. You be better off doing it yourself and renting a U-Haul!!
