Any van delivered 10 dining chairs which had to be collected within a specified time frame from the seller. Everything was done exactly as requested. The driver was extremely pleasant and kept me informed of arrival time so that I did not have to miss an event that I wanted to attend later that day Very pleased indeed with the service. The chairs were all kept in good order. I would definitely use Anyvan again and on the basis of my experience, I would recommend them.

They have been awful from start to finish. No confirmation was sent out because the guy who took the original booking couldn't spell my email address correctly (he misspelled Birmingham). I've spent the past 2 days on the phone to them trying to get bits sorted and they have been terrible at every point. Their customer service is mostly rude and unhelpful. They'd cancelled my van driver and didn't find a replacement for hours after that (meaning my delivery didn't go out and arrive on time) and never seem to have any drivers available. Never using AnyVan again.

A bad start: Arrived half an hour late to collect my belongings, diverted on route to "another pickup" without warning and delayed us for hours. Am awful middle: Came screaming down our narrow road and crashed into my car, in front of me. Then proceeded to unload two dozen black bin liners from their van in order to get to my stuff, turning the street into a temporary garbage dump. An awful ending: Despite multiple assurances that the damage would be paid, at one point even offering to pay in instalments, no money was ever received and my car remains damaged.

A truly awful experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, Anyvan you should be ashamed. Could be a movie deal in it for me though..

I ended up having the most stressful moving experience. They outsourced the service, so the 'Michael' that was supposed to be my Van was impossible to contact (or never exist). I had to contact the customer service which was pretty useless. The communication that they promised never happened and the driver never called me. The worst part was they turned up very late with a scary looking driver who was not helpful at all. He charged me extra five pounds to ride with him even though earlier he said I was not allowed to get in the van with him (though on the website, they said I could). The move was in November 2018, but I was so afraid of the driver that I waited till I moved out of the house to write this review.

The driver had called me right before he was making his way down to where I was. When I was moving my things from the 15th floor to the ground floor, the helping guy was there to help move the things straight to the van (there's a bit of a hassle going through the lobby and reception, but he didn't mind it anyway which was great!)

Then once everything was loaded into the van, they took off to the delivery place where they waited for me and my friend to reach (we were walking, so we took a slightly longer time than estimated) but they waited for us and gave us a call to check if we were arriving nonetheless.

Once we arrived, they assisted in loading the things onto trolleys (we were storing it at a storage place which had trolleys) and once they were done, the job was done! Really smooth moving day, they were helpful and accommodating.

Unacceptable. How did a company go to such low depths? They assigned a completely worthless moving company who does not know what they were doing. Came with a van that did not have enough space for my items, I had booked more items than they actually transferred. I had to move half the stuff myself due to the weaklings that call themselves movers that turned up. No skills, should have just got a man with a van, at least they know which side is up. They left my job midway to do another one and returned in the evening after me being very stern that it had to be completed the same day. Broke my glass tv table due to their incompetence and mover promised me they would replace it (but now unreachable). I had insurance for the move, but the excess is much higher than what the item is worth. Anyvan said they will look into it and now after burning my 7 day claim period came back to me to say they cannot do anything. Leaving me in a situation where insurance company may not now honour the claim. Horrible experience, don't use Anyvan, instead use a company where you at least can speak to the movers directly. You have been warned. As for me, small claims court it is.

Soching and poor service. 2 guys arrived no uniform and van belongs to another moving company. No english, bad manners, I watched them droping on the road my antique furniture. Halth way the packing they stopped and demanded extra money. When they finnely delivered my stuff to new property I noticed every piece of furnityre was damaged- they didn't take any care whilst packing and moving stuff. I try to speak with one of them and he admited the liability to us. When contacted Anyvan was told that they allegedly completed investigation and denided any liability. they called me a lier despite me sending them proof of the damage and told me that I damaged all the furniture before the move! NEVER USE THEM!!

I used this service because the website states that your move is insured - I thought this made it worth paying the extra money rather than just using someone with a van or hiring a van and moving myself.

The driver lost a supporting beam for my table in the move. When I contacted the company about this, they said they would get back in touch and it took a full month of me chasing them for them to finally tell me that my items were only insured if the driver stole the entire contents of my move or if the van set on fire and all items were destroyed - apparently individual items aren't covered.

I'm obviously shocked by this policy and now have to replace a full table that cost me £325 because the driver has lost a beam that it is useless without.

I work from home and not having my table for a month has been extremely inconvenient. If I had been told this policy in the first place when I first complained, I would have looked at replacing my table sooner rather than waiting for a month to be told they won't be taking any action.

It's particularly frustrating, as the driver claimed the beam was never there and that they moved the table in two parts. The table was actually moved in six parts, with the driver delivering five of the six parts, so their story clearly isn't true. I understand that drivers must move a lot of items and probably don't remember specific items from individual moves, but it's clear that Anyvan's policies remove responsibility for lost items from their shoulders if they simply say they never saw an item or deny it even existed. Of course, nobody is going to admit they lost an item if they know they can simply deny having ever seen it, so it's not great for the customer.

All in all, I'm really disappointed and have lost £325 due to the driver's negligence and dishonesty and the company's unfair policies.
