I was recommended Best Rates Removals by my chosen storage facility to help me move my belongings from my term time housing in London. Ivan was brilliant from the moment I spoke to him on the phone, with his charismatic phone manner and flexible nature, I was made to feel comfortable from the start. I was lucky enough for Ivan to come personally to move my things and he performed above and beyond anything I expected.
The service wasn't just moving boxes from A to B like other removal companies, Ivan was very warm and was one for great conversation during the ride to the storage facility and I would go as far as saying we became well acquainted in a very short time. He was ever so polite regardless of the extreme heat or weight he was carrying. Ivan knew the staff at my storage facility on a friendly basis which made registration and locker inspection all the more smoothly.
I was really happy with Ivan's service and it was a perfect demonstration that moving doesn't have to be a stressful experience! I will be needing his services again to move to my next place of study for certain, Thank you!

I recently used Best Rate Removal in a recent house move.

Jack on the phone was always very courteous and answered all my queries. Due to issues with completion dates up the chain, we had to move our belongings into storage for a few days. Jack was helpful in making sure our ever changing demands were accommodated.

The services was booked for packing the day before removal. The packing team was very good. Efficient, friendly and took great care packing our belongings. First hick up come half way through the day with the team running out of boxes so had to leave and arrange an earlier start the next day for extra packing and removal.

Come the next day, the team did not actually arrive any earlier the next day as promised. I think they had traffic issues as you'd expect around the London area during rush our.

The team moved all our belongings out by the afternoon literally minutes before we got the call from our agent the buyer was ready for the keys. There was a slight miscommunication at the end where the team thought i'd arranged personal storage but it was actually arranged via their company. A quick call to the office did resolve this.

Come unpacking day, the team arrived in good time and did a reasonable job. Things were unloaded quickly. It's a shame the foreman we had on packing days was not longer with us and we had a new one. This resulted in a lot of questions of where things went, which rooms the boxes belong in etc as he was not familiar with the labelling etc.

We found a lot of boxes in the wrong place to be fair, mostly between the loft and garage. Not the end of the world but annoying the less.

A couple of things went missing..our baby gate adaptor was lost which a quick visit to the shop was needed. We were reimbursed without complaint. The bolts to my wife's jewellery cabinet was missing. Again, I had to buy some bolts as a bodge job fix but it worked. I was reimbursed again. My wife did discover some broken makeup pallettes but these were reported too late (1 week window). Another annoying issue, we were not delivered out hoover as it was let at the storage place in error. Given we were in a new house, not having a hoover was a pain. It was delivered to us a week later.

Overall, would I use the team again? Unfortunately I would not and would take a chance in trying out someone else. Would I recommend them? Only if others were well aware of the issues I experienced and they were happy with it.

From the very first call with Arthur Best Rate Removals stood out a mile above all the rest and continued to impress throughout. (And I shopped around a lot).

Not only did they deliver, on time, seamlessly and professionally, they also demonstrated something else, something I really appreciated - interpersonal skills and empathy.

I was experiencing a number of complications and changes around my move. Jack was extremely understanding and helpful. He listened and did everything he could to work with me every step of the way. I never felt like just another number.

On the day of the move, Zahair and Tanyu were My Heros.
Not only did they work speedily yet carefully, despite the heat. They helped out when the keys to the new door jammed and even found a way to keep unloading (up and over the back hatchet) when some plonker decided to park immediately behind our van, blocking access and unloading!

A big huge thank you guys. You were THE BEST.

Originally when I spoke to the Best Rate rep everything seemed fine. Her quoted me a reasonable price and upon listening to the home contents (pretty normal 3 bedroom), estimated a similar time (3 hours), and manpower (3 guys + a single truck) to the other places I had checked. I paid the deposit and scheduled for them to arrive at 9am sharp on the day of the move for a move of all of 2 blocks.

That day rolls around, and the full contents of my flat are sitting packed and waiting to go. 9am ticks by, then 10am but no sign of the movers. I try calling and get nothing but empty lines. More time.. Finally I do get ahold of someone. "Oh, yeah it looks like we did take your deposit, but um, it doesn't look like anyone scheduled you a crew." He then stopped like somehow I guess everything was ok then.

After a bit of prodding they did agree to get another crew over as soon as possible, which ended up meaning mid-afternoon, with 2 guys and a truck that wouldn't quite fit everything. The guys were all right, though clearly in no rush, and what should have been a smooth and easy operation become a long and cumbersome one.

When it was done, the price that had been quoted to me originally was doubled despite a token "10% discount for the inconvenience" making it an altogether bad experience in pretty much every way. If you are looking for a removal company, look elsewhere.

We came across Best-Rate removals on removalreviews.co.uk. After using their services we can honestly say that we found the extremely positive reviews to be true. There communication was efficient, they were right on time (20 minutes early in fact), came across as very trustworthy and professional. Toni and his colleague really were fantastic. I was most impressed with their hard working attitude. They never complained, they actually never stopped working, and continued the job without a fuss when it took a bit longer than expected (not their fault). They did accidentally forget to unload a frog statue from the van. We didn't notice until they called us. It wasn't a big deal to us (we once got it as a funny gift), but they took care to deliver it to us on another day at a time that was convenient for us. We would happily use their services again. In fact, we will ask them for a quote to store some spare furniture. In summary: brilliant company!

Those guys did the impossible to take my stuff out (my furniture), my piano, my sofa and etc. from the 5th floor of the building where I use to live.

This company is not professional at all. After speaking to them over a week and telling them exactly what needs to be done and paying a deposit confirming the job a day before my move they call me and tell me that they have charged me too less. From a £150.00 which was agreed then they were asking me to pay them £240.00 for 3 items. I still wanted them to do my removal as everything was packed and I was ready to move but they still were charging me a ridiculous price for a few items. Their agent gave me a price and then on the last minute they wanted more. I had to cancel the job and was unable to move the day I was supposed to because of their error. They caused me so much inconvenience and they are not professional at all. I would not recommend them to anyone. Such awful customer service.

How can an estimate turn out to be almost 100% wrong? I was quoted £400 for the move and it turned out to be over £700 which was more than the guaranteed prices I had been given by their competitors. That's not an estimate, at best it's a bad guess at worst it's an attempt to get the business at any price and then jack up the price on the day. I was also charged for the team's unscheduled breaks which I only found out about afterwards from the storage company. Do not believe any of their pre-costings, look up bait-and-switch for their sales techniques!

Best Rates are brilliant. They have been consistently great every time I've used them. This last occasion was an emergency removal and storage on a Friday evening, which they were able to accomodate by adding a last minute van hire. Overall, the price was very reasonable considering the timing and situation. There are some wonderful people working there and staff seem very happy. They work incredibly hard, carrying heavy items up difficult stairs for hours! I was especially impressed with the way they wrapped and moved the divan bed base and mattress - the last time I moved and stored a bed with another company, it came back totally trashed! The bed wrapping made me so happy, I even took a photo! :) Best Rates for life!

Simon came round at a time convenient to me to arrange a quote. He followed it up as promised in writing and everything was agreed. On the first day 2 members of his team came round and started packing. Day 2 there were 3 guys who worked very efficiently to get everything done. Unloaded everything the other end and put all the units and beds together. These guys were excellent from start to finish. Very efficient and trustworthy. I will only use this firm when I next move. In fact their work was so professional that my company (Mitchell Rosen Estate Agents) now only recommends them to all our clients looking to move. Well done guys.

We did a full removal of our 2 bed flat recently with Best Rate Removals. I was amazed of the job Best Rate Removals did for us. From the start until the end the guys did an outstanding service.Booked last minute to move furniture. Was sent two guys who arrived on time (in fact 10 mins early), got on with the job, arrived at my new address promptly, took great care with my stuff and finished within the time slot I was given. Thanks to Jack and the removal team this became the most stressless removal ever. Great price and efficient work. Thank you !

Honestly the best removal company I have ever used.
They were reasonably priced and very professional. The crew that we had went over and above to ensure our move went well. They were on time and worked extremely hard and everything was in perfect condition when it arrived.
They made a very stressful situation a lot easier and did everything they could to help us.
all in all a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Best Rate.

I found Best Rate Removals through the aggregator Check-a-Trade which was recommended to me. Upon reading the reviews on that website I was impressed with the overall score they've received so decided to get a quote. Ivan, the representative I spoke to, was really efficient and was able to give me an estimate based on the items I listed within minutes. He booked a time which was convenient for me and I was phoned at a later stage to reconfirm everything.

Neliyan, the agent who did the delivery, was very punctual and was in front of my door exactly when agreed. As the van was spacious, he took his time to order all items in the most appropriate way possible to avoid any movement inside.

All items were delivered on time and in good condition. Neliyan also helped me bring everything in again.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with the service and would use them again if needed.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I think that this time has be to an exception because I was so impressed with the job these guys did! From start to finish they made my move from Leeds to London a breeze.. On my moving day they showed up exactly when they said they'd come and were super professional, first coming in to see what we'd be moving, then loading items into their vans in specific orders to facilitate unloading.. They have a special area in their vans for fragile items too so I wasn't worried that any of my glassware would break! The manager (Ivan) was in touch all through the day to make sure I was happy with the progress of the move.. He was a really great guy and very accommodating to our last minute booking and early morning pickup time. I really couldn't be more happy with the work they did. I absolutely recommend Best Rate Removals for anyone moving house! (And I'll certainly be using them again if ever I move again!).

Removal men arrived early for the job. I was a little apprehensive at first as the vehicle provided appeared to be on the small side. After inspecting my items, the guys assured me that they would do their best to fit everything in the van. Professional, friendly and got on with the job in an efficient manner - despite encountering problems getting my 3-seater sofa out of the front door! Upon arrival at the storage company, my items were then moved to the unit in a careful and efficient way. Despite some errors in confirmation emails from from the Best Rate office, I would highly recommend the company for its professional service and very competitive pricing.

Excellent company, very professional, careful, efficient and friendly. Had to find a removal and storage company within a day having been let down by someone I had been using for over five years for family and self. Best Rate Removals were very polite, flexible and quoted an excellent price. The booking was for two removal vans but three arrived for no extra charge and job was completed in less time. The removal team did a great job in ensuring our three bed house was safely moved to one of their storage units without any damage and every bit of space was used. The office team has been fantastic since as our property is still in the same storage unit. I would certainly recommend Best Rate Removals to anyone looking for removal / storage, and peace of mind. Definitely and absolutely the 'Best'.

Removals are usually very stressful but the staff is brilliant and try to help where necessary, very strong guys and nothing was a problem and the price that we discussed on the phone stood during the removal. there was no hidden catches which I appreciate when budgeting for the move I knew exact how much was going to cost so I relaxed without been in a hurry not to spend to much or pay extra charges.
I have worked with the AUSSIE removals that is very settled company but I realised that I got a great service for less money, I will use again.

I would highly recommend this company we have recently moved from London to New Milton and the 3 and the team of 3 that I had were brilliant They were on time were polite friendly helpful courteous and extremely hard working men..They dismantled furniture and reassembled at the other end they loaded and unloaded in no time at all everything arrived as it should have due to the care given to everything while in transit.JP and his colleague in the office were very helpful and friendly and made me feel at ease when discussing the move.I cannot praise this company up enough and will continue to recommend them to anyone that needs a professionally run removal company.

We moved on the 19th October 2016. I phoned about 6 other companies and this one whilst not the cheapest, certainly sounded the most capable/professional. All paperwork was prompt, delivery guys turned up on the dot. Very considerate and polite and ultra careful with our stuff which was not even high spec/expensive. I opted for a time limit deal so I had to work with the guys and the job was done as planned. I even tipped the guys around 10%. Seriously, don't waste your time ringing round for quotes, just call these guys and they wont let you down. Jack Mills was very easy to deal with in helping to finalise the arrangements. Well done guys!

I have now used Best Rates Removals a few times in the past two years and I have to say that each and everytime they were excellent. They always turned up, they always kept me informed of progress (you can add or change things on the day), all my stuff arrived safely and the teams are very very hard working.
In my opinion they are very good at what they do and I would advise people to contact them when moving.
