Very unprofessional. It started well, Great customer service when booking the service, I called up as I wanted to make sure all details were ironed out. I booked the service and was told they would be at the pick up point from 12-2 ( they arrived at 1:00 which was great ) however I had to wait from 1:00 to 6:00pm to get my goods. Every time I called the driver he said he was an hour away. I was NEVER informed that drivers don't go directly to drop off your items the second venue was 30 minutes from the first - I could have taken 2 UBER XL cars it would have been cheaper and faster. It was unbelievably unreliable at one point I was convinced all my goods would never make it back to me as no one could give me any information as to when my goods will be delievered. I don't necessarily think it was the drivers fault but the communication between anyvan and the driver.

I called their office multiple times and asked for an explanation and still have not received any apology or call and they took the fee from my account.

I recently used this company. I have had a lifetime experience of moving, and these people were the worst EVER. They particularly like using boxes for everything, at £6 a pop! So of course everything goes into boxes. I didn't realise they charged extra for this, so I incurred massive extra charges due to this practice. These good reviews have to be fake! You have been warned this company is awful. They packed like bloody robbers, and everything mixed up in boxes. These men were NOT experienced movers, not a chance. Don't take the risk, get a company round to quote. I know not to make this mistake again.

I used Anyvan to move flat. I put my quote on the site and within a few hours I had lots of different quotes and offers from drivers that use the site. The site allows you to view the profile of the drivers and the feedback they have been given. After I picked the company I wanted to use I rang in to Anyvan bookings team to get the date and time sorted which was all done quickly without any stress!
On the day of the move everything went perfect I couldn't of asked for a better service from start to end. Will definitely be using again!

I used anyvan a few weeks ago and was very happy with their overall service.

The price was fair, their stuff professional, and the job was done in time. None of my items were damaged and always treated with care.

Also, Customer Services was really helpful with a small issue I had, thank you guys!

Overall, I am a very happy customer :) I would definitely recommend them to anyone (I already have!^^) and of course, use them again.

Unserious and extremely bad! I will give a warning by using them.

I booked a short delivery with 8 boxes for a short delivery 4 min away.

The delivery guy never showed up, I called the office several times and they told me that they will call the driver. After 7 call to the office asking were the driver was, he finally showed up 10 minutes before my pick up time was over. Blaming me that I was not there! Office also blamed me for the intercom was not working even though I contacted them 7 times!!

They also wanted to charge me double (2*£54) for 4 minutes drive with 8 boxes of clothes.

Please don't use them!!

I have now been in the phone queue for customer services for half an hour. No sign of a solution. Half day holiday totally wasted. 6 hour wait in stifling heat. Lots of very nice texts but no closer to getting the van here despite booking this a fortnight ago. Shocking service. Very unhappy. What am I supposed to do? The allocated driver suggesting I take another day off and go through this again. Said call customer services. But they don't bother answering. Fantastic.

Ok. I hired AnyVan to do my move from BR3 to N1 because of the reviews. After booking via the website, I got all those emails saying it was all good and there was a management team behind it all etc. It makes you feel safe. The problem is that those who are doing the actual job come from other companies, subsidised by AnyVan. I was unlucky to pick a driver who not only was impossible to contact and very irresponsive but also damaged a lot of my things during the move, including picture frames, a book case and my bed. I warned AnyVan and the driver several times that the move was to another place with parking restrictions. The driver (2 people) contacted me on the day of the move - which I took off work - to say they'd be there at 10am. Soon he changed it to 3pm, then 5pm and finally arrived at my address for loading in at 7pm! After that all the service was done in a way that they just wanted to get it done and I had to carry a lot of heavy things myself. In the end it was pointless to hire 2 men. The move didn't went well, I had damages and AnyVan did absolutely nothing after I contacted them and even sent pictures. Never again.

Booked for a business move 3 weeks in advance. Still no confirmation of pick up time on day of the pickup, driver not answering calls, customer service constantly fobbing off and refused to let me talk to a manager. Problem isn't with the booking system, it's that they company do not seem to have any control or professional expectations of the driver contractors (who seem to be total cowboys). I booked with them expecting a professional services - feel like I might as well as taken a name off a flyer at a bus stop. Very poor.

The men arrived on time and immediately started work on shifting the goods. They were careful when negotiating difficult corners and stairs and were polite at all times. We offered them refreshments but they said that they had their own supplies with them. All delicate items were carefully wrapped and secured. At the other end they were just as willing and efficient even after a long delay on the motorway (genuine), held them up. I was very impressed and would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Whilst the removal guy was super helpful loading the van and unloading it, he was reluctant to help us take our things up to our second floor apartment even though we had specified and paid for that service. Our journey was an hour and a half of absolute hell. The driver was talking on his phone, listening to really loud music, and eating a full take-away meal during the journey. He was so heavily distracted that I feared for my life as we were travelling down the M25 veering into the other lanes and onto the hard shoulder a ridiculous amount of times. He was cutting other traffic up and squeezing himself in front of other vehicles, and he even fell asleep(!!) at some traffic lights, which we had to then wake him up.

We booked Anyvan after reading the Trustpilot reviews to collect and deliver a sofa for us. After confirming the day before the driver would be coming they didn't turn up on the day. When we called they said they would be there in an hour and were running late. After 5 more phone calls continually being told the same story and a wait of 10 hours we realised that they were complete liars. Absolutely appalling customer service and a total lack of communication. Still awaiting a refund. Used Shipley the next day and they were brilliant. Avoid Anyvan at all costs.

If I had read the review of some of the customers AnyVan ripped off them I wouldn't have booked a job with them. Is a rip off removal company and I wouldn't recommend anyone to book a job with them. Firstly, when I booked with AnyVan I gave them my contact number but they decided to send massages to the wrong number l called them to mend it which they said they've done it which never happen. I booked a job with them to pick a television on Saturday and on the said day I waited and waited not even a text message that they are on their way, 6 minutes to the deadline I called the driver he gave me a shock of my life that they are suppose to collect the item on Sunday. I called the office and it took me over 30 minutes to talk with a staff infact, it was very frustrating I have to call another van company and because it was a short notice I paid more. I requested for my refund from AnyVan and was rejected they even cancelled the job without asking for my permission. They send two different drivers names which to me they don't know what they are doing. They are not trustworthy company to deal with and I have regretted doing business with them.

Do not use this company.

I booked the collection of a two seater sofa, clearly stated on booking as a "two seater sofa". Yet it turned up in a van that was dirty and old and too small for the job that contained an oily spare wheel, on removing the sofa from the van the cover was ripped and covered in oil, which will not come out. This is a quote from the Any van website instructions to drivers, code of conduct:
All customer goods will be packed appropriately and safely, showing a heightened duty of care throughout all moves. Don’t take risks, use more blankets if necessary. This makes you feel your item will be taken care of but beware as it is a lie my pale yellow sofa was not wrapped at all and no care was taken!!
When I contacted Anyvan I was told by customer services that they do not care what condition your item arrives in, they do not care what happens to it on the way, I quote "if the driver gets it dirty and breaks it that is fine so long as he delivers it!"
The sofa I bought is totally ruined. Anyvan charged me £98.00 to ruin it!!
It is not worth the risk with a company that has no pride or customer service.

Having booked and paid for a 'man & van' I thought everything would be fine. I had an email on Saturday confirming the move for Monday morning between 0900 and 1000. I received a call at 0906 telling me that a driver had not been allocated but they were doing everything they could to find me one.
They promised to call me back after an hour. Nothing happened so I called them to be told they were still working on it!
At 1354 I received a call telling me that the earliest they could do anything would be later that afternoon.
This was very helpful as I had to be out by Noon and my goods were now on the street!
Thankfully I found a company who could do the job immediately.
Moving is stressful enough without added pressure from a removal company failing.
Please, I beg you all..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Awful experience overall, making the moving process more stressful than it needed to be. Overall poor service and customer care, with the whole thing seeming to be a money making sham.

When I booked, it was not clear from the website you had to pay more for a specific time. I was told 8-6pm and presumed you then contact the driver to arrange a specific time. Turns out you pay more for a specific time and we were not allowed to do this subsequently as it was 'too late'. We were therefore at the bottom of the queue and were allocated the time of 4-6. We then had to rearrange 2 check-out and check-in times.

The driver arrived late at 6.30 and instantly complained our amount of boxes and bags did not match the exact booking (we had a few more boxes but a few less bags so presumed this would be ok). They therefore charged us a futher £20 fee upfront and refused to accomodate myself or all our stuff in the van. I therefore had to get a train alone, laden with bags.

I have complained by telephone with little interest or response except "our company policy is on the website". I have moved house many times with various companies and never been treated so badly. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT use this company..they'll just squeeze you for money!!

They let us down:
We rented 1 van + 2 drivers (extra payment). We detailed all the boxes we had, allowing for a bit more boxes to make sure there was going to be enough space.
On the moving day, they left us a voicemail saying that the van was going to be 1 hour late.
The drivers arrived at 18:00, drinking a bottle of cola, being very rude and they didn’t seem to feel like working, apart from that the van didn’t seem to be big enough to carry all our boxes.
We had our boxes inside our flat, on the 1st floor. We had some boxes on the 4th floor, but most of them on the 1st floor. The drivers said that the boxes should be on the ground floor already which is what we booked (it wasn’t clear when we booked that should be like that) but we asked if they could please wait 5 minutes until we put boxes on the ground floor, and then, while they are loading the van, we would be taken the rest of the boxes out, to the ground floor.
They said that they were not going to wait, they didn’t even want to put the boxes from the ground floor in van (which doesn’t make sense, as we paid extra for two people to help us with the drivers) and they said that they were going to leave.
We asked, please stay, we will pay more if necessary, but we need to move out of the house now, we can help we can put the boxes wherever you need, but please don’t leave, allow us for some time with you (as far as I know when you rent a van for a moving it takes time to load all the boxes and unload the boxes to the new please, where they expecting to do the moving in 15 minutes?).
The drivers left at 18:15h. They spent with us 15 minutes and they left without giving the service, we were at the entrance of the house without a van to move.
We talked to the head office about what was happening and they said they were not going to refund the money as the boxes were not on the ground floor. So basically, they were allowed to come one hour late, but then the spent with us 15 minutes and they left.
This is not acceptable. Very rude drivers, very bad service, and obviously I don’t recommend this company to anybody.

I booked a van through any van with 2 people to help. Everything prepaid for. On the day of removal I rang the driver at 10:15 (booking was for between 10am and 12pm) to see what time they will be arriving and they told me unfortunately the second guy has had an accident and cannot come. I therefore asked if the driver can come on his own (which is normal) but they said it's too big a job which is completely rubbish as you can book a driver on his own.

So;
1) no notice that they were not going to turn up. I has to ring them.
2) clearly couldn't be bothered to do the job and just cancelled it
3) left me in the lurch and said we can reassign you a job but it may be today or it could be tomorrow or the day after

Awful awful company and the last thing you need when moving property.

I used Anyvan to move house in London (same suburb). Upon arrival, the drivers asked for additional fee (30% more!) because “some items (were) not on the list” (they mentioned a sofa). That was true, a sofa (2-seater) was missing on the list. Not a great way to start, since I really could not argue (it was a take it or leave it offer). So Anyvan had charged me GBP 930 and is now charging me another GBP 300 to move a three-bedroom flat around the corner (less than a mile away). The following day my neighbour told me he had paid about GBP 600 for a great service with another company. Awesome.
I am not quite sure whether I was extremely unlucky with these particular drivers (and customer service afterwards), as I have moved places a few times over the years and always received a great service (although I never used Anyvan before… perhaps that’s why). But there is a long list of things that went wrong there:
1) Anyvan charged me twice, and I had to argue over the phone for quite some time before they checked, called me back, and acknowledged their error on the morning of the move. These things happen but sadly in light of was followed, this is less than ideal.
2) Anyvan charged me another 30% of the initial cost once the drivers had a first-hand look at the job, although they could name only one item (a sofa) that was not on the list submitted. You will see as you carry on reading this list though that they still did not deliver against the contract, quite far from that.
3) The drivers turned up with a van that was too small. So they had to go back and forth between the houses. Good that the move was less than a mile away!
4) A long list of items was left behind: frames, some food, some cleaning products and broom, a toddler's bike, bins etc.
5) the frame of my most expensive paintings was damaged (scratched) because it was moved unprotected.
6) the so-called “premium package” included unpacking. But the drivers did not unpack. They left my place at around 7pm without my knowledge (I was busy putting together a bed upstairs, which is something THEY should have done). By the way I also packed and unpacked all day long. Obviously something THEY should have done.
7) and now the cherry on the cake: Anyvan’s customer service, to which I complained, first offers me a refund of GBP 50. Great, but that’s a bit slim considering the premium price initially charged and really what they should have done is send someone back to finish the job. Instead, I had to do all this myself. After a few email exchanges, Lianne, their customer representative, comes up with this uncanny line: “The driver was more than happy to stay behind and unpack all of the boxes, you took it upon yourself to unpack these items”.
So, Lianne, you are telling me that having paid, in fact over-paid market rates for the service, and being charged an ADDITIONAL 30% on the morning of the move, I would then proceed to tell the driver half way through the job hey, don’t you worry, I will unpack myself, you guys go and rest! And if that was the case, then why would I lodge a complain in the first place?
So in summary Anyvan fell way short of what one could expect for the premium price of their premium package. They use their name to charge you well in excess of the next, smaller guy and they “customer service” would just behave as if you were a non-returning customer (obvious by then), so why bother making a wrong right. Don’t use them. Removals is a very competitive market in London and you can find much better service at a much more competitive price easily.

Last Wednesday, I had a transfer with AnyVan. Things were going as planned until the van team left and I realised I have one large box and another large plastic bag missing. It was not unloaded from the van.

Reported straight away. I received one call saying they will investigate. And that’s it. Nobody came back to me.

Now, exactly 1wk after, I haven't heard from the drivers.. I have sent SMS without any reply from them.. I have to keep calling cust service.. I have to chase them almost everyday for updates. So much lack of accountability! This is getting really frustrating now because why do I have to chase them like crazy! Too much hassle! Worse, nobody from their company shows any urgency on my concern.

I am very disappointed that company doesn't even consider to reimburse money, even though I explained the whole situation. I booked a van to move 4 seater dining table and 4 chairs. When you do this on the PC, and you go to furniture's, then drop down menu comes up when you can add 4 seating dining table & chairs. When you do this on your phone you need to type it the item, and drop down menu doesn't come up. I typed it 4 seating dining table which I assumed that you get charged the same way as it comes on the PC 'Dining table and chairs', on the PC there is no option for just chairs!! However on the phone you need to type all separate items. How I suppose to know that?? I end up paying £60 for dissembled Ikea table and dissembled chairs, chairs fitted to Ikea bag! It was 1 person job. It was not worthy. I also was contacted straight away to be charged extra £15 for chairs and money were taken from my card which they had already the system, even before I said Yes! I called customer services today 05/11/2018 to make a complaint and spoke to Gemma, there is no willingness of reimbursing this £15, which I believe is company policy. I felt I was misled and overcharged for those items. Any van.com is all about money, if something goes wrong you pay for it. They don't care about customer experience at all!!
