I required a sofa to be moved from my dining area to my living room. I was assured on the phone that they would send to experience drivers are qualified to dismantle and reassemble sofas I was asked to pay up front, which I did, £100. I then received a phone call to tell me they have changed the job and somebody would be coming later that evening; I accepted this because I needed the sofa to be moved ASAP. When said man arrived he took one look at my sofa and and for me it would not be possible to move this as it was not “bolted“ together. He then insisted on my husband assisting him to move it into the living room without disassembling it. Despite the fact we have tried this with humans him, of course it didn’t work. He then said he would have to leave, I pointed out I paid hundred pounds and the job had not been completed. He informed he would contact the company and tell them he had not fulfilled his side of the contract. I received a phone call Leston five minutes later from the company telling me because I cancelled the job I would have to pay the full monies that had given them. I explained I have not cancelled the job but they told me because I had allowed the van man to leave that was the same as cancelling! I would’ve assumed holding somebody hostage is illegal! My husband wrote a review on trust pilot, I had it blocked because it wasn’t in my name. So I wrote a review on trust pilot, they’ve also tried to block that one! Customer services were rude, very rude and fat and showed no empathy towards the fact that I paid £100 and my sofa was exactly where it was before the booking was made. Important to note that yesterday my husband DID manage to get the sofa into our living room, so it seems disassembly and reassembly was possible after all. Very angry with this company they refused to give me a refund. I have now taken out a dispute with my bank to reclaim the money they’ve informed me that I should be very helpful.

These guys assure you they can drop your furniture to a storage unit and there is no need to go with them because 'we do it all the time'. My brand new furniture was then shoved into the unit even though there was space to place it properly - making everything indented, lamp shades broken etc. But Anyvan then refused responsibility because there was no insurance. I need to insure the simple expectation of not shoving my furniture into storage? Also, the guys who did this could not be contacted and disabled their phone, and Anyvan says it's not responsible for what they do. Convenient. I also lost my set of cutlery which is bizarre.
Please don't go with these guys. Don't be deceived by some self-written good reviews. They're too dodgy. Each time I used them, they want to charge more on the morning of the removal as the landlord is waiting by saying that one lamp wasn't on the list so they need £40 more or they won't move anything. I just gave up being ignored or referred to speak to the collection men whose phone doesn't accept calls now.
Absolutely don't deserve to be in business.

DO NOT TRUST- WORST COMPANY EVER!
Hi, don’t usually leave negative reviews but I thought this may save someone a lot of stress and money, learning from my experience.


I had numerous issues with my move including the delivery date not happening WITHOUT the driver or anyvan informing me. I did not receive the services upon quotation as the service wasn’t worth the £602 I paid!


Firstly, upon collection.
-There was no text from the driver 24hours to arrange a slot as advertised on your website
-No driver text on the morning collection and driver did not pick up my calls either
-Called anyvan and they had to reach driver to confirm
-Tracking service as advertised on website did not work till 30 mins before driver arrived.
-Driver Leontin on the day informed me I had different drivers for delivery which I was not told of by anyvan.

Day 1 delivery
-Day of delivery confirmed upon booking I had no call/email/text from driver or anyvan.
-I took the day off work and waited all day for delivery
-Driver did not answer my calls
-3:30/4pm, after getting through on the busy anyvan line, driver said he was not coming.
-WHY WAS I NOT TOLD BEFORE, I understand with this removal job and with a long distance job there will be delays or breakdown problems which is fine if I was called by the driver or anyvan.
-This resulted in a days salary gone and I had to buy necessities as my belongings didn’t arrive. All would have been resolved if I was told.

Day 2 delivery
-The anyvan customer service assured me the driver would contact with confirmation of delivery date and slot.
-BUT HE NEVER DID (No call or text on next morning)
-Tired calling driver but no response
-No replies to messages
-anyvan line was busy multiple times
-At this point I had grounds to call the police-my all belongings were in an unknown location with no sign of delivery and I felt like this £602 had been a scam.

My boxes were delivered 6pm a day after my paid for delivery day. I was not compensated for the 2 days of work I missed waiting for the driver or the necessities I had to buy to tide me over until it came.

Service cost: £602

Staff at Anyvan courier are very pleasant and sympathetic but when my furniture arrived damaged they cannot intervene and the courier will not accept any responsibility despite being the only one to move the item (Vaman 15 ) Think this contravenes the sale of goods act as you pay them a deposit for services and then pay the driver. Waiting for a call back from Trading Standards as the initial advice has been taken and Vaman 15 has not been in touch. I now have to deal with a damaged item and as the innocent party feel that I have paid in full both anyvan and Vaman 15 and received a damaged item. Not sure how any of this is my fault but when you are accused of stitching them up it's hard not to feel aggrieved . My advice to others is to consider how they would feel in this situation it's the only service where you pay , they assure you they have insurance and when it goes wrong refuse to make a claim oh and there is nothing you can do about any of this SCAM is the only fitting description.

Used Anyvan to transport a large computer desk from Birkenhead to Sheffield. The staff were very helpful when I made my initial inquiries giving me immediate quotes for the job. I chose their quote for 1-of-3-dates which was cheaper. I chose 3 consecutive dates when I was available for delivery. The Anyvan driver then contacted me the day before the move with an ETA.

On the day of delivery I tracked the position of the van with an app on my PC (also available for iphone/android) and was waiting at the gate when they arrived. They put the desk exactly where I wanted it, politely asked for my signature and left.

Simple as that.

Service cost: £75

I agree with other users. Don't even deserve one star. Book and paid for collection of wardrobe (pick up Cardiff and drop off Surrey). Heard absolutely nothing. Slightly worried the day before that I have had no news on driver I tried calling. I like others here was assured that they were allocating a driver and were in fact just working out routes (staff are clearly told to say this to customer and not be transparent. Being fobbed off was only after several attempts to get through to anyone at all. Phone just rings and rings and rings. Tried the web chat and you end up speaking to a computer (which is obvious by the scripted / too fast to type useless and unhelpful responses). AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Given the poor service I inclined to think their claims of being a trusted partner with many other reputed firms and 20,000 trusted reviews UNBELIEVABLE. Maybe one for Trading Standards me thinks.

Firstly turns up in a van that had no company logo for ANYVAN and in fact you could quite clearly see the logo from another unrelated company had been painted over.

The driver blames his manager for him arriving without the 10 boxes we had paid for and spent over an hour going back to base to get them, making our move LATE. Moved all our items outside despite the fact the VAN wasn't there to put them in and we only just managed to avoid the rain.

Rude and careless staff member damaged our TV and then tried to blame us for it. The same careless person damaged a vase and again tried to blame us and said it wasn't his fault. This was despite the fact that my wife and I were nowhere near him when both incidents happened. NOT ONCE did he apologise !! Kitchen boxes that were packed by the same useless staff member had bleach spilt in them as the boxes were not kept upright. Even a cat litter house was tipped over in the van (thankfully I put clean litter in it before we moved). Absolutely no care was taken in moving our items and we WILL NEVER EVER use ANYVAN again.

They even took the money early and not 72 hours before as I was told and was more than I was quoted. Worst removal company I have ever used and I urge anyone reading this review to shop else where. Please do yourself a favour DON'T use ANYVAN !!

AnyVan are a bunch of charlatans. With less than 24 hours to go, my price (which I’d already paid) has been hiked up to the point where I’ve cancelled it altogether. I’d rather delay my house move at significant cost to myself than bring business with these deceitful, scam artists. I used their own online booking tool and spoke to a member of their team to ensure clarity during the booking. With merely hours to go, I’ve now received a call telling me that my price had to go up because I hadn’t given them sufficient information. Just to emphasise, this was meant to happen tomorrow. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a reoccurring scenario. The lesson here; is that you should just pay a little more up front, deal with a real person, build a relationship and get someone who cares about the job to work with you. As if that wasn’t enough, dealing with Anyvan’s ‘customer service’ team during an already stressful time (moving home) is one of the most unfortunate tasks I’ve ever had the misfortune of taking part in. I’m still waiting on my refund too. I wonder how long that will take…Pathetic.
