American Plus Moving and Storage

I booked American Plus Moving on July 31, 2021., at 2:22pm.

I canceled by email and phone on August 1, at 1:57pm. This is within the 48 hour window! When I call the company and leave a message, I do not receive a call back. When I call and am able to talk with someone, they hang up on me! I have been trying to reach anyone with this company for 3 months. If they feel I am not due a refund, I would like to know why! I do NOT feel like this is a company anyone should do business with!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2617

We had a contract for a move from 2/12-2/13. They were very attentive for the first few days and then went dark the week before the move. Then after I emailed them for a specific driver and date, they responded with a fake p/u time that never happened. Leaving me in the lurch at a very stressful time. I will probably have to pay triple to get my items moved quickly now. They cashed my deposit check immediately on 2/2/22. I have emailed an "officer" of the LLC, GABRIELLA KLYOTSKIN. After checking on their LLC, I found it has been inactive since September 2021, yet they are still doing business??? They are thieves. They hit up people at their most vulnerable and stressful times and hold their belongings hostage. How can they still operate without a license? I am also contacting local Florida agencies for resolution of this issue. DO NOT CONSIDER THEM FOR YOUR BUSINESS!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!

These people do not answer calls. They don’t tell you that multiple moving companies will move your belongings. They loss and damage everything I owned. Do not use them!!! I cried literally for months because of my loss of valuable things I cannot get back that was pass down from my family. They are rude, they treat your complaints as if it is your personal issue and not theirs. They lie about protection coverage. PLEASE TAKE MY WORDS SERIOUSLY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Used this company for our move . Once they booked us and took the $$$ we have not been able to get in contact with anyone. Was told we would hear from someone 24hrs before the 2 day window estimate but. Finally got Apollo to pick up his phone he said he was going to find out what was going on and call me back. Now the office is closing in 15 mins still waiting. Been calling ALL DAY No answer at the customer service number, emails have not had a response and voicemail messages have not been returned. Tired the entire day until the office closed.

Beware of this company zero communication and terrible service

This is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Their sales person will lie to get your booking. They create a sense of urgency and tell you they can give you the best deal . My sales person told me “ your price is guaranteed, (after I gave him an itemized list ) Told me it would be picked up and delivered on specific days.

, they would wrap and cover all large items and everything was included in the price he gave me. They showed up 2 days after the scheduled pick up date, charged my card first for the 2nd payment,broke down my couches and then said that it would be another $3500 and to add insult to injury- btw, the packing tape and packing blankets are extra! AND that it could take up to 21days to get my stuff!! The salesperson confirmed a specific date that I based my airline ticket, work and rental on. Their customer service is anything about servicing the customer and there was not one person that I spoke to including a supervisor, that was helpful or the least bit concerned about the inconsistencies that were sold to me.

If you’re planning a move ... DON’T use this company- they will lie about EVERYTHING!!!!!

American Plus Moving and Storage and their subcontractor, AMM Trucking, should have their licenses revoked. My movers arrived 5 hours past the pickup window. They didn't have tools to disassemble my bed and had to leave for about 40 minutes on a Sunday night so they could buy tools. They lost one of my boxes in the move. My mattress was delivered a week later than the rest of my furniture. My furniture was badly damaged and they will pay virtually nothing for it to be repaired/replaced. The final price for the move was more than double what I was quoted. They gave misinformation about acceptable payment methods and threatened to not deliver my furniture unless I paid in cash or a money order. Do not use these moving companies!

This is a junk company. They will take deposit and truck doesnt show up to pick up your stuff. They will keep on post pone your pick up date saying there is no truck availability due to busy season. They will NOT refund your money if you cancel the service and will not answer your phone call if you ask for refund. I called more than 40 times to this company before I raised a dispute with my bank to get my refund. This company should close down. I wrote this reviews here to make people aware of this company. Not recommended. Had a Very bad experience with this Company.
