I recently had to move all of my stuff into dorms at my school, and a friend sent me to alliance. I called them up, and they gave me a good deal on movimg all my things, and agreed to be there that weekend. The movers were friendly, and they were careful with everything. I have a big collection of D&D figurines, so they wrapped them individually so they wouldn't be broken in the move. Overall, I had a great, fast, and easy experience with Alliance, and definitely plan to use them again when I move out of the dorms.

I recently moved from Metro Detroit to Cincinnati and I had a great experience with this company. Unlike some other moving companies, the price I paid was the price they initially quoted me at. The movers they sent were strong, capable, professional, and friendly. The move was done surprisingly quickly, I'd expected an all-day affair because of all the insanely heavy furniture we have, but they had the truck completely loaded in 3.5 hours. They carefully wrapped and handled all fragile items. When we got to the new house, they set everything up for me, something I'd expected that I'd need to do myself. If I need to move again, I'll be using Alliance.

I recently moved from Miami to Orlando and I had a amazing experience with Alliance.They were very polite and friendly.Unlike some other moving companies, the price I paid was the price they initially quoted me at. The movers they sent were capable, professional, and friendly. They wrapped all fragile items. When we got to our new home, they set everything up for me, something I'd expected that I'd need to do myself. When I move again I will contact Alliance. Thank you Alliance!

I needed movers to help me move my 2 bedroom apartment. I came across Alliance Vans. I got a quote online. I was busy with work I didn’t have time to pack my things. Fortunately they were able to help me. I scheduled a pickup and from there they packed my furniture and flag screen television. I was so worried that my 60 flat screen would get damaged in the move but it arrived in perfect condition. My furnuyand television arrived on time. They helped me and wee very professional during the whole process. I do happy I chose Alliance.

Alliance Van Lines made my moving experience stress free. The company has professional movers who took care of my household items making sure that everything arrived at my new home intact and safely. They packed all my stuff within 3 hours and helped me to set everything in the new house. Frankly, I never thought to move was so easy. I specifically loved how they carefully wrapped my fragile items carefully and everything arrived without any damages. And to sum it all their price was quite affordable, I paid just $2650 for the whole process.
If I ever need to move again, I will definitely use Alliance Van Lines again. You should consider this company for all your moving needs.

I just wanted to say that Alliance Van Lines made my moving experience as pleasant as possible especially with moving cross country. The company was extremely professional by arranging movers for me. The movers were polite and asked me what I needed to be packed. They were able to accommodate my requests and packed all families things in a timely manner. The movers took my request in the arrangement of our things within the new apartment. I was worried before I called thinking it would be impossible to move but Alliance Van Lines made it a seamless move. I loved that just for just around $2000 I was able to get my things cross country and had wonderful communication along the way. I completely loved their customer service !!

I am very pleased with Alliance Van Lines they've made my moving experience as stress free as possible. From the quote, to scheduling my move date. Everything was simple and hassle free. The professional movers took real good care of items that were packed up they loaded everything very gently. It was about 2 to 3 hours to load up my house. I was moving from the Eastern Carolina area to Charlotte NC and I needed a moving service. My family and I were moving from a three bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house, and we had quite a bit of stuff. I was very stressed out but Alliance made the ordeal much easier. Their website was easy to use, and they provided a timely price quote. Their movers were scheduled to arrive at 11am on moving day and they showed up on time. Also they were friendly, responsive, and handled all of our items with care. They did an awesome job!

The crew was extremely professional and very careful. They cleaned up everything after they completed the job. Best of all, they were so understanding of the importance of my move. I hope to be able to use them again. Their pricing was very fair and definitely worth what they requested with my total being just a little over $2000.
They were honest, hardworking and professional. They came out and gave an estimate after looking at the jobs. Their quote was 3 times less than any of the estimates I received. They explain the whole process to you and inform you of any and all of the processes. I would use them again as should anyone that needs work done. I was very impressed with all of the work performed. Thank you!

I requested a quote and received a call back from them a couple of minutes later. The salesperson was polite and informative. I received quotes from other movers, and they were way out of my price range. They were charging well over $3000! But with Alliance Van Lines, it was barely over $2000! After reviewing my options, this was by far the most flexible. The movers called 20min out and showed up, and they were very polite. The movers were well prepared and careful, but still quick. I was able to move in one day a three bedroom house completely!! The office even called before the move was completed to check the quality of service!! The price was very reasonable, and the service was worth it!

They were punctual and followed the schedule as agreed. All my belongings were carefully packed and they reached the destination in perfect condition. The price for such a great service was reasonable. They wrapped all our big furniture with protective blankets. Considering that we were moving from the 2nd floor, I was very nervous with how it would end up, but I am so happy everything went smooth. Once at the new place, they were again quick and careful about placing our things down. Our bed was too big to carry out, but they handled all the belongings with care. They make my move a stress free move, Thank You!

When I originally called regarding moving, the person I spoke with said they would have tools to break down our bed. When the movers arrived they didn’t have the tools. Also, my boyfriend helped them move stuff so it would speed up the process, and it still took them incredibly long for only the big stuff in a 1 bedroom apartment. They FINALLY finished moving our stuff at midnight (yes midnight) and then wanted to charge us hidden fees we weren’t aware of. They wouldn’t leave without making us pay double what we were told. So if you want to pay double the money for terrible service, go with them. Otherwise, save yourselves the heartache and go with any other company!

If I could rate this company a zero, I would.

In a snap shot, the driver did not show up on the day of moving and I had to make additional arrangements for someone else to be there during the move the following day because I already booked a flight out. The driver and moving company did not take all of my stuff, so now I have to fly back and make additional arrangements to get what was not loaded onto the truck. Details below.

The worst was the costumer service I received. I left several voicemails with no return calls. I finally was able to reach Isabelle Lopez from costumer relations on the phone who spoke over me multiple times and then hung up on me. The company did nothing to take ownership of misinformation and mistake, offered zero help or any solutions, and I have never received such poor costumer service and attitude.

1. Moving Items
I never received any information if my stuff arrived in storage safely, where the storage and my things are located, and what is being done about the things left behind that the driver did not take. A couple things about this.
1a. When I was on the phone initially booking this move, I clearly told them that I would not be in town Monday, May 13 and needed my things to be picked up on the 12th. They had guaranteed me that a note was left and that this would happen. I called several times on Saturday and left voicemails, but no one reached back out to me. My items were picked up on the 13th, and I had to have my realtor come to the house.
1b. When making the inventory list, I told the costumer rep and the woman I spoke with confirming the inventory list after that I do not have a TV stand and there were several weight inconsistencies. They both told me that I could sub items in place of this. When the driver arrived (a day late) he told my realtor that because it was not on the list, that he would charge about $900 extra. I tried to speak with the driver over the phone and explain what I was told. However, I could not understand the driver as English does not seem to be his first language and his phone was not working properly.
1c. I also told them that I had my clothes in black industrial bags, which I told was okay. The driver also left the bags saying they had to be in boxes. Isabelle very unkindly told me over the phone that this information was emailed out in print. However, I was initially told this would be okay as long as they were the thick industrial bags- which they are, but these were also all left behind.

I have never worked with such poor costumer service and have never experienced such poor management on my items being moved. I emailed the rep I initially spoke with and cc'd the dispatch department. When asking Isabelle for an email I could cc her on, she refused to provide it to me. If any of my items disappear, are damaged, any signs of improper disassembly of the piano and mattress, damage or signs of improper reassembly of the piano or mattress are seen, I will be suing this company. Again, costumer relations offered zero solutions, showed zero empathy, and showed zero ownership of misinformation. You are better spending your money with someone else. They are completely disorganized and care nothing about you or your belongings.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

This is the worst moving company.. don’t go with this company with the fake words they promise you before you book your move. Biggest fraud company and cheaters. They have lot of hidden costs. They don’t move your goods directly they give it some one else and those some one else gives your goods to someone else and so on.. and who knows how many hands they keep changing.. By the time you receive your goods they are totally damaged. They are not even a worth penny. They don’t deliver the goods on the promised delivery date. I literally went through a psychological pressure for the 10 days they held my goods. In my initial agreement they didn’t mention they are going to charge me for the elevator. And when they brought my goods they said they are going to charge 75$ extra for elevator and overall they want to charge me 300$ extra for a carry of 100 ft. They left my goods in front of my storage entrance door and I had to move everything by myself in order to avoid the extra hidden costs. Overall they charged me 1800$ for 400 miles distance and 75 cuft space and on top of that I lost my peace of mind for 10 days dealing with this company, their brokers and drivers.

We hired Alliance Van Lines which did NOT tell us they are subcontracting to UNIQUE Van Lines, or we would have never hired them!

I hired Alliance to take 3 shrink wrapped pallets of furniture plus a dresss, armoir and 2 night stands. Thats it and it was $1950. OK, no problem I need the stuff moved. I informed Blake at Alliance that I will have to have stuff by a certain date and I would be flying down to FL to receive the items for my new house. He said NO PROBLEM AT ALL! they give a 1-10 day max window, and I said it must be that following MON, Tues or Weds delivery. He said no problem at all, you will get then.

Anyways 2 weeks later the moving company was to be here WEDS and they call Weds and say we will be there tomorrow. So thursday at 430pm they call and say hey sorry mechanical issues with truck and wont be there til maybe tomorrow. I said okay so you are a few days late and I need to make sure you are delivering next Weds at the LATEST as I was promised. Unique Van lines said, NO WAY, we don't promise any time delivery!! WHAT??!! I freaked out and was ike are you kidding me? I was promised this delivery and you have to. Patricia from UNIQUE said that it could take a week, 2 , 3 or 4 she would have NO IDEA! I went off and said how do you expect a family to sit there move from one house to another and have NONE of their stuff for 1,2,3, or 4 weeks? And I also asked where does MY STUFF go? They informed me that they take to a storage area in COLUMBUS OH to keep there until they have enough stuff to fill truck to go back to FL. And they never know when that is.. I said I was hired by Alliance, you were NOT approved to get my items by me because if they told me UNIQUE doing then I would have said NO WAY due to the absolute worst reviews I have ever seen .. AND They asked me to pay cash. SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT.. you want to take all my belongings give you $1300 now and $700 more when you arrive and won't tell me exactly where MY stuff is and when it will get delivered? She said yes.. I said no way I refuse to use you and called Alliance Van lines.

Kori is who answered and could care LESS about the situation.. I informed her of what's going on and she said ok well your stuff will be delivered. I said BLAKE is the one who sold this to me and promised me and I have it on a recorded line so you can't sit there and tell me that you didn't promise. She said sorry. I said give me to a manager, she said there is NONE. EXCUSE ME?? she said you can send an email to dispatch, I want a manager I said. SHE said sorry they don't talk to people. funny how the customer service line everytime I called night or day KORI answered. I said cancel and give me the money back that I did for holding the truck. She said no! I said excuse me > she said we do not give money back when you cancel! I said I Have to cancel because you did not follow the contract that we have with the pick up for WEDS and Still 2 days later NO pick up and no way the drop off will be in time. SO I called bank and disputed charges due to NO SERVICES HELD BY THEM.

SOMEONE needs to shut these companies down that LIE and steal and break peoples items. THIS should be illegal to do this to people. WHO will do something about this>??

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1950

Should have seen the warning signs from the start. Shawn K was extremely nice during the inventory process over the phone and persistent at that. He said he was a mover and NOT a broker and thanked me for my service. Asked about my time in the military and said he takes care of veterans and will throw in some discounts. When it came time to make the down payment, that’s when I should have known. Cash only. But, Shawn has an alternative. He sent me a link to handle it by check. Chase Bank called IMMEDIATELY to ask and verify if the transaction was legit. The bank must have known they are a shady establishment.

Once Alliance Van Lines has your down payment, that’s it. It’s pretty much theirs. No one answers the phone, you’re out on hold for extended periods of time, and you are bounced around from one person to the next. Customer service is the worst and will only take your phone number or booking number, then put you on hold as soon as they can. They will just literally hang up on you and put you on hold. In fact, they hung up on me after waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes. You can hear people laughing in the background.

There is no supervisor you can speak too, no one gives out real names, no email addresses, and no one shares their last name. No direct extensions, and no one returns emails.

They waited until inside of their 7 day window (to keep your deposit) to finally have Quality call you to verify your inventory. Again, quality doesn’t give out their full name or email address, or direct contact info. Alicia J was the “quality” contact and when I shared with her my experience, she didn’t care. She knew my $2000+ deposit was locked in. I kept asking when the movers would arrive and what time would they be at my residence. She didn’t know, yet, she’s quality. I needed to book insurance and no one at Alliance Van Lines knew it could/would answer my numerous emails.

Finally, Alicia J emailed and told me it would be Unique Van Lines. After doing research on Unique Van Lines, it was apparent this was a total scam and I’ve been taken advantage of.

Unique Van Lines is a complete disaster and has 1 useable truck. Yes, 1 useable truck with horrible reviews at that. Check Y elp to verify for yourself.

It wasn’t until I sent Alicia J an email saying I would cancel that Isabella L called me. She was very rude, disrespectful, and angry that I decided or wanted to cancel. Apparently, she’s the Office Manager I’ve been waiting for weeks to talk too. She tried to manipulate and mix words with me, but by this point, I knew and realized I was scammed. She tried to make it my fault that I was considering canceling the move. Putting words in my mouth, and pointing the finger towards me. Unreal.

Warning Signs
- Initially told they were movers and not a broker.
- Told they were affiliated with Allied Van Lines
- Lots of discounts to lower price in order to obtain the sale. USAA, veterans, etc.
- No direct contact info
- No use of last names
- Horrible customer service
- Waits until within 7 day window to inform you that they’ve outsourced your info to a horrible moving company. Their policy is you can not cancel within 7 business days.
- 100’s of fake reviews online

It’s a total shame they take advantage of Veterans hard earned money. My advice to anyone reading this is to stay away from this company. They will change their name to another Van Lines if the negative reviews continue. Do yourself s favor and bypass all of the fake reviews. If you notice, the fake reviews make it appear that Alliance Van Lines is a moving company, when in fact, they are a broker that outsources to lower end Van Lines.

It should be illegal that this type of practice is even allowed in our country, let alone to disabled veterans who served their country.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $2030

Alliance Van Lines told me they were a end to end carrier and that I wasn't going to be pushed off onto another company. In fact, I was pushed off onto Eden's Moving Services And charged more than I originally agreed to. Not only did not all of my household goods get shipped because they carrier decided to charge extra for items that were definitely on the moving list, but I was delayed in getting my goods received because of poor logistics coordination from your end. It is 230 now and I'm still waiting on the movers to arrive at my destination. I was told specifically they were arriving between 9 am and 11 am today. The only way I get ANY notifications is because I was forced to call the driver. Twice. The incompetence and lazy logistics is profound in this incredible organization.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $2000

Took the quote from Alliance. Didn't read the fine print that they sub-contract to other moving companies. The movers chosen for my move were definitely not the careful movers I was led to believe. However, a number of things arrived at my new home broken. The broken or damages items were packed by their movers.
Bottom line is beware that Alliance will use the lowest bidder and while Alliance has great reviews, they might not reflect the actual movers you get to complete your contract.
