Wonderful service!

These guys were great from beginning to end. My rep David was so nice and thorough, he made sure to include everything I needed and even gave me free T.v. Boxes! The guys were awesome and very courteous with my stuff. They wrapped everything and nothing was broken. They arrived a day after we had agreed but things happen and it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall I give these guys 5 stars and will definitely be calling them to move again.

Lost my items!!

The company lost several 1000 dollars worth of our items and memories. They picked up our 4 bedroom house in NY. When our closing date was moved, they said they would store our things free. After just a few days we closed and asked for our things. They said we had to wait until their schedule ( and another family was ready). A few days later they moved our things to South Carolina. Our belongings were packed in a truck with another family! They unloaded the truck so fast it filled a two car garage and they left. No person could have checked off their things as they came off the truck!! As days and weeks went buy we noticed several boxes and suitcase missing. An entire set of Mikasa China, A box of kitchen items with Cutco knives, A green suitcase filled with personal items, a brand new vacume still in the box and all of our wine and liquor!! The company said sorry this happens and stickers fall off. Our claim was of course denied. It’s not rocket science, either the drivers took our things or the family who shared our truck has them! The invoice was sloppy and hard to read, the stickers are garbage!

Our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services.

Courtesy: Free storage is only available if it is requested at the booking of the move. However, when the customer encountered troubles with their closing we volunteered as a CUSTOMER COURTESY to store their items indefinitely without any charge.

Delivery: Per our Estimate and Bill of Lading governing this move, we have up to 21 business days from our first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customer’s requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable.

Consolidation of Shipments: Even major van lines consolidate shipments. This is done to make the route efficient and keep the rates for shipping household goods at a reasonable rate. The customer had the option to select and pay for the Dedicated Truck Service but they chose to enjoy the lower rates for their move instead.

Delivery: The customers are asked to check off the items as they are unloaded from the truck at the delivery. The inventory sheets listing every item loaded / unloaded from the truck specifically state:

“We have checked all the items listed and numbered 1 to __ inclusive and acknowledge that this is a true and complete list of the goods tendered and of the state of the goods received.
WARNING → BEFORE SIGNING CHECK SHIPMENT, COUNT ITEMS AND DESCRIBE LOSS OR DAMAGE IN SPACE ON THE RIGHT ABOVE.”

Allegations: We do not appreciate the allegations that the customer makes about theft. We have worked very hard to build this company from the ground up based on hard work, dedication, and honesty. This company is our livelihood and is meant to be passed on to our children, and theirs to come. Many employees depend upon our company to be able to provide for their families. We would not ever entertain the slightest notion to take anyone’s items. There is nothing on earth valuable enough to risk the future of so many people. It would be appreciated if the customers would kindly refrain from making such allegations. We have performed a trace to try to locate their items. We ask that the customers please keep us updated with their contact information should it change, just in case the items were inadvertently mixed in with a shipment delivered to storage, or someone is out of the country and cannot unpack quickly. If we receive word that their items are located we will do everything in our power to return their items. We do understand their items are sentimental, but we also ask the customers to understand that this is a work in progress. These inventory numbers do, in extreme weather conditions come off and it is no fault of ours. Our investigation into these matters will continue.

We regret that the customer felt the need to post such a negative review. We trust that the above explanations enable them to better understand our position on these matters.

Easy Cross Country Move.

We moved from Pittsburgh to Seattle earlier this year with 24/7. Everyone was great throughout the whole process, they are very easy to work with and we received our items in great condition, which we were really worried about with a cross country move. The only issue we had was communication with the physical movers on the delivery end, but otherwise we had a great move!

Movers Beware.

LOTS of damage! What wasn't not delivered (tools, linens, etc) was either broken (mirrors they packed), scratched (all of our furniture) or damaged (busted a king size bed headboard that ended up in the dumpster). L A Z Y delivery guys. Scratched hard wood floors. Told to get a marker and it will be like new. Elizabeth is the worst customer service person we have ever encountered in our entire life (and we're old folks). Power washer mysterically reappeared after suggesting sticky fingers, obviously was wrongly used/abused, and then didn't work. Guys Good on the front end (although they started loading at 1130 pm), but, bottom line, LOTS of LOSS! Loaded into 1 truck, paid for committed truck and direct delivery. BUT, then said we needed 2 trucks. The ONE truck was off loaded into a warehouse in MD, then a week or so later, they loaded our stuff into 2 trucks to move to FL. LOTS happened in that manuver. Just BEWARE! Stay clear. We moved from Wilmington DE to Ormond Beach FL (9/1/2018). Everything was A OK from contact until packed truck left our place. After that, they REALLY dropped the ball.

On behalf of our staff at 24/7 Logistic Services we would like to apologize that our customer feels that they received less than outstanding services for their move. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Truck(s): Every moving truck is not the same size. Some have larger dimensions which allow additional room for transporting shipments. Some moving trucks have the overhead compartment for loading additional items which can add quite a bit of volume for the movers to load things into. The trucks used for pickup and delivery were not the very same truck(s). The delivery did require the movers use a very little bit of space in the 2nd truck in order to deliver the shipment.

Dedicated Truck / Direct Delivery: Nowhere on the Original Estimate nor on the contractual Bill of Lading does it state that the customer ordered or paid for either of these services. These services would have to be ordered, scheduled, logistically and strategically planned in order to be provided. Further, it would have to be listed on the documents and paid for. We are happy to provide the documents to support our explanation.

Power Washer: The customer reported the power washer as missing on 09/11/18 (one week after delivery of her items). However, we looked in the warehouse and found this item. We took the time and paid all the expenses to deliver this item to the customer. The mechanical condition of this item was unknown from the start. We do not start up machinery at any time. However, we can let the liability be determined through the claims process. If we are liable we will compensate the customer for the item.

Claim: Our claims company’s contact information is printed on the Original Estimate and is also printed on the Bill of Lading. When the customer called and reported they had missing or damaged items we then reiterated that they are welcome to file a claim and gave them CSI’s contact information again. The customer was delivered 09/04/18. Up to date no claim has been received. Therefore, we sent all the documentation for this move to CSI and instructed them to initiate a claim file on behalf of the customer. The customers were emailed login information today 05/16/19 with their unique claim id number. The claim login information sent to the customer allows filing a claim for loss, damage, delay, overcharge, and complaint. All the above can and must be compensated through the claims process as required by federal regulations. We are unable to offer any monetary compensation to the customer until they file a claim and provide all the support required to allow our claims company to properly analyze the claim. Once their claim is filed we will be able to determine the extent of the damage and make better decision regarding the compensation we may be able to offer. Also per Federal Regulations the customers have 9 months from their delivery date to file their claim. They have allowed so much time to pass that they now must have their claim filed by 06/04/19. We would like to encourage the customer to submit their claim for all their concerns about their move at their first opportunity. Should the customer have questions about filing their claim they may contact CSI directly at 772-742-5246 between the hours of 9am to 5pm EST or they may email them at info@csipros.org.

We regret that the customer felt the need to post this review. We trust that they will attempt to work together with us to reach an amicable resolution through the claims process.

I was very nervous about finding a moving company to move my 1 bedroom apartment across the east coast and as soon as I contacted 24/7, their personable and professional manners sold me. They spent some time telling me why I should use them instead of other moving companies and they were correct about everything stated. Every time I needed to change my inventory or I had a question, they were a phone call or an email away with no hassle. The movers in PA were very professional and made the move very easy. They wrapped all of my furniture in moving blankets and secured them with packing tape. When they moved my furniture, you could not see an inch! I was very impressed. I also packed my belongings myself since there wasn't too much. I packed my things in plastic storage bins. The movers went above and beyond my expectations by taping the lids to the containers for me. It was greatly appreciated. The movers in GA were also very helpful and professional. One wall decoration of mine unfortunately broke but due to the size and shape it was nearly impossible to pack and protect so it wasn't a big deal to me. I was super skeptical and nervous over choosing a moving company but I am very happy I went with 24/7 and plan to use them in the future!

I'm going to write another review. I doubt that it will be posted, since the last one was not. If you decide to use this company, just save yourself some time and burn your belongings; it will be less stressful. They destroyed our $10,000.00 bedroom suite; it's irreparable. They busted the crown molding on the armoire. They lost the headboard. Needless to say, the bed cannot be assembled without the headboard. Their was nothing that was not damaged in some way. Read the fine print; you're agreeing to settle for 60 cents a pound. They offered $143.00 for ruining our furniture. I do not understand how this company stays in business.

24/7 Logistic Services did an awesome job with my move from VA to WI. Everyone that I encountered from the people on the phone, my customer service person, Jason, and the guys who loaded and unloaded, all awesome! A Moving Company with Heart.

Having done several in state moves, I expect the worst with movers. I've dealt with everything from broken furniture to drunk/high moving men. It's always been an adventure that I dread every time. This move was across country - so my anxiety level was heightened, as I hoped for the best but per past experiences was expecting anything but. Logistics is different than any moving company I had dealt with prior. They are true professionals. My experience began with a moving consult with Jason. My work schedule was crazy at the time and he gave his personal number so I could call him off hours to make sure everything was covered for a move that was only a week away. Then on moving day John and his crew came out and were clean, professional and explained every detail down to how they were packing the truck - even sending me videos throughout so I could be sure things were packed tight and well. Once I arrived at the new location, there was a small hiccup with the destination truck trying to deliver on a holiday -- but as soon as I got a hold of Oscar with Logistics, he quickly took care of the problem and my final delivery was made by yet another very professional group of movers. They literally had 5 rooms of furniture out of the truck, up to my 17th floor apartment and put together in less than 2 hours. They were kind, courteous and by far the most professional group of guys I've ever had on a move. If you're moving and you're tired of the typical stress of babysitting movers and worrying about whether your belongings are going to make it -- call Logistics. They walk your through each step, they send clean cut, professional movers to your home and if there are any questions or issues they take care of it immediately. Its clear that they genuinely care about your move and their reputation. I will definitely use them if I move again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

24/7 LS to the rescue.

We turned to 24/7 Logistic Services after a lifetime of moving ourselves with rental trucks. On this occasion, we had planned to follow our normal procedure, but - what do you know - U-Haul suddenly didn't have the truck it promised available (similar things have happened before with U-Haul and other rental truck companies that say "yes, we have that available" when you book, but then wait until the last minute, when you are completely at their mercy, to give you a "free upgrade" on a truck that is 20 feet too long and that you can't legally drive -- I digress). We frantically tried to find some replacement truck, but no company had one available. So two days before the lease was to end on our last apartment, we found ourselves without a moving truck. We resigned ourselves to the (admittedly more expensive) option of hiring an all-inclusive company that moves the boxes, supplies and drives the truck, and then unloads the truck at the destination. With these companies, it was likewise not easy to organize a truck so last minute. Enter Jason. I called him on a Friday. It was not easy, but he and John (the moving foreman on our job) managed to rearrange their schedules in order to accommodate our move the next day. Knowing the difficult situation we came to LS in, Jason even assisted us with a military discount. For John, this involved considerable effort, driving 10+ hours out of his way to get to us. From there on out, every expectation of our moving experience was met and surpassed. Our items arrived in perfect condition at our new apartment on Monday. The moving team (John and Igor) were very friendly and professional. John was conscientious about making sure that we checked to see that they were making efficient use of the square footage in the truck. A couple tips: you will want to be in your home of origin when you detail the items that will be moved. You will be charged for the amount of space your stuff takes up in the truck so try to be as accurate as possible to get the most accurate estimate. Also, if most of your moving experience has involved by-the-hour local movers, you may be surprised to learn that all-inclusive companies leave boxes (but not furniture) in only one place in your house (which might be rough if you have multiple floors and many boxes). Even so, John and Igor went above and beyond to move several of the larger/heavier items upstairs -- which was a huge relief. Finally, if you have the flexibility with timing, do read through the fine print on added fees that can be incurred on your moving day and at your destination. We didn't have many options here, but the price of our move ended up being 33% above what we were quoted (this was because we underestimated the volume of our stuff and because there were added fees associated with extra 7 stairs at our place of origin, our apartment door was more than 75 feet away from the truck, etc.). If you are have more time to do the research into your moving situation, you will no doubt have a more accurate sense of how much this will cost you.

Excellent moving company.

I used 24/7 Logistic Services when I moved from New York to Florida. This was far from being my first ever move, but it was the first time I moved to another state. Due to my uncertainty as to the exact day I would arrive in Florida, I requested a flexible schedule as to the date of my delivery. This necessitated my working with two different crews, the one who picked up the material in New York and the one who made the delivery in Florida.
I honestly would say that both crews would rate at the top of my list for moving companies. The care and concern they showed for all my belongings, the courtesy they showed to me and my family, and the efficiency with which they loaded and unloaded the truck were all exceptional.
I highly recommend this company and would most definitely use them for any future moves.

Worry Free Moving Experience.

I used 24/7 services to help my in-laws move from NJ to GA. From initial quote to getting everything moved and set up at the new location, the communication was outstanding. The entire process was very transparent with no hidden or deceptive cost. The crew who visited the NJ location to pack up, and the crew that unpacked in GA were very clean, on-time, courteous, and respectful. The quality of packing was awesome. They respected our stuff a.nd took their time to pack and unpack. The entire move was completed in 4 days, and I was kept updated with the status consistently via text or a phone call. Every time I attempted to contact the staff my call was picked up promptly. I loved their service and their price. I would strongly recommend 24/7 logistic services to anyone who is looking for a hassle free move.

Terrible Customer Service, absolute liars about prices.

We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with our experience with 24/7 moving services. We did so much research before picking our moving company and thought we had picked a great service. Needless to say, it has been awful. When we first called them, they gave us an estimate. Great. We told them exactly how large our items were and the estimate was very affordable. Great. When the movers actually came, the costs were over 1,000$ more than what we had expected. The movers did NOT speak English (and I say this as an ESOL teacher who speaks 6 languages, my husband is from an immigrant family, we are usually SO UNDERSTANDING of foreign languages and want to help others). The language barrier was really frustrating. They then tried to charge us over 2,000$ over the original estimate. We waited on hold with 24/7 moving services and tried talking to them, but they were irate, loudly telling us that we owed them so much more money than we had agreed upon. They then explained to us that our stuff would arrive in the new location one week later. Great. It is now 2 weeks later and we STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR THINGS. We have called 24/7 moving services and they keep telling us things like "it's in the fine print" and "didn't you read the contract?" Yes. We read the contract, but we also trusted what people told us multiple times on the phone and didn't take a microscope to every last line of fine print.

Now, they are charging us 650$ more dollars (on top of the already higher prices) to get our stuff into our apartment, essentially holding all of our things ransom so that they can transfer it to a smaller truck. We are a recently graduated medical student and a teacher. We are just doing the best that we can, and had to move for work. We are so tired of being lied to time and time again by this business. We have to, unfortunately, move again in a year (relocating for residency program part 2) and we will NOT be using this service. I am also warning everyone I know about how awful this was and what liars they are.

We apologize for the inconvenience but your estimated price was based on 56 items that your provided your sales representative VS 72 pieces we actually loaded. That’s why your price went up accordingly.
You were contacted by the dispatcher that your delivery is scheduled on July 1 and it is just 7 days from your first available delivery date that your requested. You had a cross country move and your belongings were just 1/7 of a semi truck - that is how big your job was, so the truck needed to be filled up completely.
Also upon checking your destination address dispatcher had advised you that we will try to get in to avoid getting a shuttle truck, we tried but it did not work. This charge is nothing but to cover an extra labor and the cost of a truck rental. All important terms and pricing are in bold and caps letters so the customer can clearly read, and no microscope is needed.

The movers took great care with my stuff. They demonstrated a professionalism, efficiency, and care that exceeded my expectations when packing and unloading the truck. Moving Out of State.

Preparing a move from one state to another was a nightmare of bad choices for movers until research led me to 24/7 Logistic Services and was awarded Charles Miller. From the beginning I was treated with complete courtesy, friendliness and ..YAY..organizational knowledge for moving. With his leadership my move could not have gone smoother. As the move neared Liz and Ashley kept me informed of the scheduling. When moving day arrived, another award of Nikolai and his partner who were proficiency and kindness personified (even with having to negotiate 14 steps for the move). I immediately left for my new home and had the comfort of Liz, Ashley and Charles letting me know when to expect the truck. The truck arrived and the amazing Manuel introduced himself. Because of an injury to his partner the day before, Manuel had no help. With smiles and a whistle, he single handedly unloaded the truck! 24/7 Immediately started looking for local help which finally came just in time to unload the last and massive piece of furniture. Manuel, in short, was unbelievable in what he did and how carefull he was in placing everything. Charles was always on tap to make sure all was going well. In fact, a few days after the move I discovered that some electrical work in my bedroom pier wall unit was not quite right. I contacted Charles, but not to complain. Immediately Charles went on line to find a local person to fix the problem. Before the day was over--all fixed! I don't write reviews, but I could not write one for this experience. I have already recommended Charles and 24/7 Logistics to two separate friends who plan to move next year. Long Live 24/7 and the wonderful people working there!

Avoid at all costs.

I've moved 5 times prior to this move from California to Virginia. Of all the moving companies, this was the worst by far. Not only can I not recommend their services, I will never use them again. They are focused on making profits at the expense of the customer.

-My items were delivered 26 days after the scheduled delivery date.

-My items were picked up 4 days after they were supposed to have arrived at my new residence.

-24/7 subcontracts the move and has limited oversight and poor communication with the subcontractors.

-I was given a delivery date three different times. The day before delivery I would call to confirm drop off time. I was often told we don't know or we can't get in touch with the dispatcher. The items wouldn't arrive on the scheduled day and I'd start the process over again.

-24/7 is reactive instead of proactive and has little follow through. If you don't constantly call and keep on top of the move, you will never hear from them.

-Items were moved multiple times from multiple vehicles. My one bedroom apartment was loaded onto a moving truck, transferred to storage, transferred to an 18 wheeler, transferred back to a moving truck and finally delivered. The transfer from an 18 Wheeler to a moving truck was their discretion but cost me an additional $450.00.

-The items do not take a direct route. The truck came from Virgina to Cali, then to Florida, then Georgia, then Virginia.

-A box that was not part of my shipment was delivered with my items. They did not check the shipping manifest when they delivered the items.

-If I had not called to advise that the incorrect box was delivered, no one but the box's owner would know or care. It took a week of calling daily to get a date scheduled for the box to be picked up. One the date scheduled, no one came.

Bottom line: You can expect your items to be delivered well beyond their scheduled delivery date. You can expect little to no communication concerning when they will arrive and to not take a direct route to get to you. You can expect your items to be moved several times after they leave your residence and you might be missing a box. The company will take little to no care to ensure it gets back to you.

But let me clarify for our potential customer that many things you stated here are not true.

-Your furniture was delivered within 19 business days. (within our contract). Requested delivery day was 08/21, delivery was on 09/17 (due to Hurricane in Florida)
-I am not sure what 4 days of delay you are talking about. Your pick up was on the agreed day August 2.
-24/7 Logistic Services has their own straight trucks and trailers with company's logo on it. Why you say we subcontract your job if you saw yourself our brand new box truck with the signs on it was delivering your furniture.
-You were given a delivery date 3 different times
first time delivery time was given before we realized that the hurricane was coming on Florida (your shipment was small and it was loaded from California with the jobs that were going to Florida, it is unfortunate, but the drivers then were going to Maryland.
Second time you informed the office that you did not have funds available and wanted to make a wire transfer. Then the office could not get in touch with you until the following day.
Third time when delivery time was given, that is when we came to deliver your belongings on OUR TRUCK.

-Yes, it is correct. You were constantly calling the office, at least twice a day every day between your pick up and delivery, and the office was always answering your questions and concerns (we have a call log to prove that)

-Yes, items were moved multiple times as you had a cross country move, very small shipment and it had to be consolidated with other families on a big semi truck. At destination per your contract you have to have an access for a 53 feet truck. In case you do not have an access - a shuttle service will be required.

-Your total cost for the move From California - Virginia including the shuttle was $3615. There is no way it would a direct route as the company would take a big loss, and such a thing was never promised to you.

-At pick up you requested delivery day 08/12, on 08/11 we had a truck to load your shipment and we called you to confirm if 08/12 was still an actual day for your delivery, you said that you had no residence yet and requested to use 30 days storage (we had to offload your shipment into a warehouse). 4 days later you called us back to inform that you were ready for delivery.

-A box that was not yours but was delivered to you. Things like this sometimes happen and we appreciate your honesty and letting us know that one box was delivered to you by mistake. We picked it up from you on the day we scheduled it and already delivered it to the right person. Your statement that no one came is NOT TRUE.

Bottom line:
We are sorry that we had to offload your items at the warehouse due to not having the address where to deliver it.
We are sorry that it took us 19 days to deliver your shipment due to an unforeseen hurricane (weather condition). It is above our control to control this.
We are sorry that you feel that we did not communicate enough with you. Your calls were always answered or returned. The office was calling and emailing you as well.
Things like a missing box happen but very rarely and we work hard to make sure we avoid things like this in future.

Move from Redding, Connecticut to Pittsburgh, PA.

The move was a stressful one in a tight window. Charles, our moving coordinator, was very informative and helpful with the steady stream of questions/concerns I had. We needed a next day delivery and needed to ensure the entirety of our 4 bedroom household was moved and delivered the next day.
Multiple calls were placed by me back to Charles, who assuaged my concerns and got a truck there as scheduled. There were no hidden fees and the move went as smoothly as a move can go with no real hiccups.
The reason I have to give the review a 4 instead of a 5 was due to the actual delivery of the items themselves and not Charles, the coordinator. In the end, the movers left us with the trash and cardboard and tape from the move, which, having moved several times in the past I did not expect nor do I believe that is standard practice. However, as we had not discussed disposal of the trash (bubble wrap, tape, cardboard). Also 2 television stands were left wrapped in moving blankets and their wooden inserts not properly reassembled. However, Kurt (a mover), did offer to reassemble our bed, which he did so willingly.
I can recommend the company for its coordination, however just be sure to ask all the questions you have and get them in writing for your own peace of mind.
Charles, my coordinator, was excellent, and never failed to respond to my messages, and other than 1 time, he always picked up my calls.

Miserable move experience.

This is an astoundingly horrible company! Quite willing to tell us whatever we needed to hear - until they got our deposit - then created a move for us that was a total nightmare.

From the first call, I explained to our sales agent, Jason, that we needed to move from our origin to the destination in the same day (a 5+ hour drive). I explained that we were moving my elderly parents and that it was imperative that we get them from where they were living to the facility where they were going in the same day. There was no safe option for housing them otherwise. He said, no problem. 24/7 Logistic Services was happy to charge us an additional $1500 for “Expedited Straight Delivery” and that the move was no problem for same day service. He also cautioned that for circumstances beyond their control such as a major snowstorm, next day delivery would happen, but that he foresaw no reason why that would be necessary. Over several subsequent phone calls Jason continued to assure me that same day delivery would happen.

Several days prior to our move, Elizabeth, who apparently is sometimes the Logistics Dept. and sometimes Customer Service began suggesting that pick up would be one day and delivery would be the next. I explained to her what Jason told me and how crucial it was for my parents’ safety and she lectured me that the contract states that “Expedited Straight Delivery” is defined as same or next day delivery. At this point Jason disappeared - he would not take my calls and did not respond to the many messages I left for him. Elizabeth, in her rude and condescending tone said she listened to the recordings of my earlier conversations with Jason and denied that he told me the move would happen in the same day. It became clear to me that 24/7 never had any intention of handling our move as they had promised. 2 days before the move Elizabeth told me that it was officially on for next day delivery, but that she couldn’t give me a pick up time until noon the day before pick up. The difficulty of making this move with my parents facing various medical challenges was enough by itself. Adding to that the lack of communication from 24/7 and their decision to move us over 2 days despite the promises made to me on multiple conversations turned this into a nightmare. Also important to note that 24/7 lists on its website “Moving Seniors” as a specialty.

This company makes promises they don’t plan to keep and preys on consumers who are not experienced with the “fine print” of the moving industry. It is amazing that they are still in business.

One positive, however, is the driver and his assistant who physically handled our move was as pleasant, capable and professional as everyone else at 24/7 was not. Nothing was broken or lost and they went out of their way to attempt to make up for the nightmare that their company caused us. Unfortunately, there was not much they could do - the pain and trauma was already inflicted.

A final note about how poorly we were treated. Our move was based on the volume of space we occupied on their truck. We had a very small move so we had a minimum we had to pay. Fair enough. Jason managed to get our binding estimate modestly higher than the minimum volume, but our actual amount (based on a visual estimate by the moving crew and confirmed once the truck was loaded) was significantly less than the minimum amount. So after the move I called 24/7 and, of course, had to speak with Elizabeth, once again wearing her Customer Service hat. I requested a refund of the small difference between the minimum we should have paid and the actual they charged us based on Jason’s overestimate. I also voiced my displeasure about being promised a same day move for which we paid an extra $1500 and requested a “meaningful refund” of part of that charge. After rudely and almost incoherently lecturing me she said she’d get back to me “by tomorrow.” It’s been nearly 2 weeks and, no surprise, I haven’t heard from her.

I’m sorry to hear that you felt like Elizabeth was explaining you your contract that you signed in a rude way. She usually is always nice to our clients.

I’m not sure what “the same day service” you are talking about here as I was in the office myself when Jason was explaining to you VERBALLY and then he emailed you in WRITING your estimate where it was saying “the same day OR next day” delivery. Then he let you think about everything and next day or so you called back and booked with us. The recording of that conversation can be provided to you.

We are happy to hear that your parent’s move went without any damages, missing items and no extra charges, in other words just like your sales representative promised you it would go. Your contract was fulfilled 100%.

24/7 Logistic Services.

Overall 24/7 did a good job moving our 4 bedroom house. Charles was friendly and easy to coordinate with. He was able to extend our cancellation window, since this was a short notice military move and I was unsure if I was doing a TMO or PPM move. Both pickup and drop-off crews worked hard and accomplished the job quickly, with limited damage.
Here are some complaints I have:
Weight tickets were not provided during pickup and only half during delivery, despite it being noted on my contract and numerous reminders from me. It took 3 days to get the empty ticket emailed to me after the move.
The size of our move was estimated at 1/2 the actual size, which doubled the cost at pickup. To make things worse, the military only reimburses based on weight. The estimated weight of our move was accurate, so we may be out of pocket multiple thousands.
The movers who packed our house failed to label boxes sufficiently, which made delivery much more difficult.
