Very happy with my move.

The crew arrived on time. They wrapped my items in blankets and also wrap fragile items. Such an easy process, they worked efficiently and is so friendly. I can't thank them enough for the service. I would use 24/7 Logistics again for future moves.

Moving day.

Absolutely loved this company especially the crew who came to do my move from start to finish. They were super professional and entertaining. Eugene and John made our move sooooo smooth and painless.
Also the most important is they wrapped all my furniture as it was theirs. Not even a single mark was left. I’m glad that I chose the option not to share my truck with anybody else. Yes it was a little pricy but definitely worth it. All my belongings arrived in one piece.
Thank you guys, I’d highly recommend 24/7 logistics to anybody who need help.

Simple but minor communication problem.

Everything went well and smooth. The only issue I had was the delivery date changed without notifying me via Phone or Email. Once I called to verify the delivery date, they notified me I will have to wait 5 days more.

Thank you John for sharing your experience.
We apologize that communication wasn't a top notch but we will work on it to avoid these things in future.

DO NOT USE. if you need your things delivered by a certain date.

The first contact with my agent was very nice but did not relay helpful information to me that I needed. Before I booked a reservation, he told me that I could change my pick-up date by the movers anytime I needed to. This was due to the fact I did not know when my move-in-date for my new apartment was going to be because I was booking the moving company in advance. He told me that as an incentive to book with the company. The original date for pick-up was May 1st. After I made the reservation and found out the exact date I was moving into my new home which was May 5th, I called to adjust the pick-up-date for the movers so I could time my things being delivered as close as possible for when I move in. When I called, they would not let me change my date. Then I asked what is an estimate time arrival for my things. They told me that they would have that information once the movers pick up my things. The movers were supposed to show up between 3pm - 6pm on the specified day. They did not show up until after 9pm which altered my plans for that night. Once my things were loaded, they took it to a warehouse for it to get scheduled out to be delivered to my new address. I call the day after the movers picked up my things to get an estimated time arrival and they told me they don't have any information on it and should have that information by the next day. I called the next day and the response was the same. There were multiple times I had called to get information and either the phone was shut off or couldn't get an answer. This went on for almost 2 weeks of them not give me an estimated time arrival. I attempted multiple times to get in touch with a manager and they would lie and say they will have one to call me but never did. I asked for a manager through text, email, phone, and voicemail. By this time, I have been sitting in an empty apartments sleeping on an air mattress and living out of a bag for a week in a half. As I continue to track my things, the customer service told me my things were still sitting in a warehouse house and has not been scheduled to be shipped yet. They have had my things for almost two weeks and should have had it scheduled as soon as I made my reservation. As I still continue and demand for an update, customer service told me my things has been shipped and the driver will contact me when he is close. I travel for work and that's not good enough information because I could possibly be out of town. I asked for an accurate date of delivery and the customer service told me they don't know, only the drivers knows. I proceed to ask for the driver contact information and customer service told me they do not have the driver number on file. Three days go by and I still don't have my things and customer service gave me a different date supposedly my things were shipped. They lied to me about when my things were actually shipped. Once the drivers finally arrived, they told me they picked my things up from the warehouse three days prior which was different from the answer customer service second answer. Customer service was constantly lying about when my things were actually shipped. If you are looking to get your things delivered on a specific date or close to it, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. they will hold your things for however long they want. In my opinion, from May 1st to May 5th is enough time to deliver my belongings to my new address. I did not receive my things until May 15th and I initially told them I wanted my things to be delivered on the 5th or close to it. they sit your things in a warehouse and wait for business in the area of which you are moving to. My things sat in a ware house for 12 days before they actually shipped it to me which only took 3 days. I will never use this company again.

10/10.

10/10 RECOMMEND! My experience with this company was beyond pleasant. I moved out of a 4 bedroom with my family and they were a headache relief. Absolutely loved my rep, so helpful.. they were so wiling to compromise to when it worked best for me due to me having a bit of a complicated schedule. The movers were really nice and funny guys, worked very efficient and smooth. thank god nothing was damaged, not even a scratch. They wrapped everything. they got the move done before I knew it. They walked me through the process along with customer service. Made the interstate move a lot smoother for me.

24/7 Logistic Services.

Every interaction with this company has been frustrating and disappointing, to the point that I wish I had simply gone with another company or even packed and delivered my belongings myself. It would have been cheaper and my items would have arrived in a timely manner.

My complaints are as follows:

After the initial estimate, two straight weeks of silence from 24/7 Logistic Services.

An entire week of attempting to reach literally anyone regarding questions I had about my incoming pickup.

Only being told about my pickup date a single day before, when your website specifies at least five days notice.

Cancelling my pickup literally twenty minutes into the provided window, stating that difficulties with the previous pickup will delay me until the next morning. (How did you not know there would be a delay and contact me sooner?)

The movers left tape and tape rolls, along with other trash, after packing everything up. I needed to move behind your movers and clean up after their mess.

Another week of no updates from 24/7 Logistic Services regarding delivery.

When I attempted to get tracking updates as to my delivery, I was met with passive aggression from your rep telling me I should simply wait until I was contacted. As if you people have been on top of that this entire time.

Finally hearing an update, ten days after the pickup, that my delivery has begun to be packed. Not on its way with a definitive arrival date. Simply begun to be packed, and told that "We will give you the delivery date by the end of the next week." Like it should take almost three weeks to deliver not even 300 cubic feet of goods 1300 miles.

All of the above has been my headache to deal with while paying well above what other companies had quoted me, but I let myself believe that I was purchasing quality, efficiency, and professionalism. At this point I just want my belongings and then to never deal with you again. This was a simple pickup/delivery, how have you all [EDIT] it up to this degree?

All of this goes without saying that I'm now expecting my belongings to arrive damaged or broken, or even missing items/boxes from the pickup due to your inability to handle this transaction every step of the way. We will have to deal with that when it happens, which needed to be before the 17th of August as that's when I start my new job. I said "needed" because I again have no doubt that day will fly by and I still will not have my belongings.

UPDATE: The previous portion was written before my items were delivered. So now I have more things to complain about.

After almost three weeks since pickup, my belongings finally arrived. Around 8pm local time, which to say the least is inconvenient but at this point I'll take them at 2am.

Before the movers will start offloading anything they need to get the payment, which will include all sorts of fees for a shuttle because no apartment complex on earth will have enough room for your 53ft truck, and a ridiculous fee for each flight of stairs as defined by your, which somehow counted to almost five flights of stairs despite the fact that I live on the third floor.

So the quoted on delivery remainder of this transaction was about $900, the actual payment was nearly twice that. I'm so lucky that I actually had barely enough to pay these guys because nothing would have been available for me to get more money for payment at this point in the night.

Payment is done and we can now get my belongings! And as I predicted, half of my things are broken. My coffee table and small desk have both had a leg snapped off, rendering them unusable. My lamp has been damaged so heavily that it will no longer turn on (despite the fact that the lightbulbs were intact afterwards, and I moved them to another lamp and they worked), every single one of my boxes were smashed in to the point that I'm surprised anything inside was in working condition.

This is just a list of the broken items, not accounting for the chips and scrapes covering every piece that I have. To top matters off, once again the movers did not take their trash with them, but left all the tape in a pile outside my front door! This is ridiculous! How did I overpay this much and still not come out with service that was 1) Quick, 2) Efficient, or 3) Responsive? I've been telling anyone who will listen to stay away from your company, and am going to find every moving website and referral company to put up this review so that nobody else needs to deal with the nightmare that is 24/7 Logistic Services.

Long-distance move from Baltimore, MD to Denver, CO

I really wanted to like them..

Where to begin? I started the process with 24/7 in February for a move in June and I'm fairly certain I was quoted much lower than the actual cu ft I had based on my inventory so that they could secure my business. The original rep I worked with was later fired, I learned. A few days before our move I had a 3 hour conversation with Katy to confirm my inventory. She was patient and helpful BUT then at the end quoted me $1500 more than my original estimate (my inventory was slightly different but not by that much). On moving day, the crew arrived in a budget truck and kept referring to "the moving company" so, were clearly hired out contractors, not employees of 24/7 as previously promised and marketed in their ads/videos. After an hour on site, the foreman then had me sign to agree to pay ANOTHER $1500 just in case my inventory was higher than expected. I was unprepared for this assurance and reasonably worried. My communication with the company was fairly easy and one of them was reachable most of the time. Elizabeth seemed to really know most of the answers. She called me several times the week before my move to confirm earliest delivery date (we were having our things stored for about a month) and I told her the same date each time. Fast forward a month--we were supposed to receive our delivery anytime AFTER 7/22 (we were closing on the new house on 7/20 and needed it cleaned on 7/21). On 7/19 I got a call letting me know that my delivery would be coming the next day! While I was relieved to not have to wait 2 weeks for our stuff, there was no way we'd be able to receive it before having closed on the house. I had to reschedule (beg) the cleaner to come early and 24/7 was able to delay/reroute the truck by 1 day. The crew that came to unload was also in an unmarked trailer, no labeled attire, shoe coverings, or masks. The foreman/driver had such a thick accent I really had trouble understanding him the whole day PLUS he was a spitter and I felt very uncomfortable during a pandemic! So many of my items arrived damaged or missing, and the claims process is a pain in the ass, they use a 3rd party company so 24/7 has nothing to do with it after delivery. Many of my boxes and linens were water damaged/moldy, after I was told they would be stored in a temperature controlled facility. I really wanted to like the company but in the end I was really unhappy with the whole process. I would not recommend or use 24/7 again.

Long-distance move from Los Angeles, CA to Denver, CO

I managed to pick THE WORST moving company.

Where to begin? Well first, I asked for full packing services, which the salesman assured me was included on my estimate. When I called to confirm this before my move, he confirmed it again. Imagine my horror when the movers come to my house, unpacked, and they tell me they are not packing up my things for me. The mover was incredibly rude, "mansplaining" what my estimate should have looked like for a full pack. He haggled with me. He passive aggressively complained that there were items I needed moved that were not on the inventory (a plant stand that weighed all of 2 pounds!). We both kept trying to get in touch with the company regarding the mishap of the full pack, but neither of us could get hold of them for hours.

That's the thing with this company. Once they have your money, you will never hear from them again. I literally had to pretend I was a new customer, filling out a questionnaire online for a new move, to get in contact with the company. Of course within minutes of sending the form, a new salesman called, as nice as can be. When I explained to him that I had to "trick" the company, he was very rude. He told me to call the main line and I could get a hold of someone. I explained that I had been unable to get a hold of someone through the main line, and he literally said: "So now you're calling me a liar?!?!"

I was also told that this company does not use brokers to move the items. Based on my interaction with the movers that came to my house (and left packaging shrapnel everywhere, btw), and how even they couldn't get in contact with the main office, that seems like lie.

It has been two weeks since the movers picked up my things from California. Guess where my stuff is currently? CALIFORNIA. It hasn't even made it onto a delivery truck.

Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not use this company.

Long-distance move from Rockville, MD to Los Angeles, CA

Lies and fraud re cross-country move; avoid at all costs!!

They are still holding my household goods hostage while demanding more money without any basis!!

I had contacted 24/7 because it was BBB accredited w/ an “A” rating. On 9/15/20, Andrew (“A”) emailed promising a “CUSTOM NOT TO EXCEED ESTIMATE.” After I provided a detailed list of items & packed boxes, A emailed a “Binding Estimate”. I told A I wanted to read it over before signing. At this point, A put me on hold & got his manager Charles (“C”) on the phone for a 3-way convo.

C started by saying our convo was being RECORDED, which made me believe I could rely on his statements since they would be documented if any issues came up.

During the convo lasting 2 hours, I repeatedly requested an estimate “AS CLOSE TO THE FINAL TOTAL as possible” so I could budget for it. A & C googled my addresses to check out the particulars like the street situation. When I requested an in-person or video estimate, C declined as unnecessary. So I measured & provided the exact dimensions for each item.

C later emailed a Revised Binding Estimate (RBE). When I asked to esign it the next day, C insisted that I esign it then to reserve the moving date. After 2 hours of continuous convo discussing all details, & their repeated assurances that the estimate would not change more than “a few hundred dollars” up or down depending on actual cubic feet (CF), I went ahead and esigned.

(1) WRONGFUL CHARGE OF $1136.09 FOR MOVE-OUT.

On 9/25/20 the movers came. After walking around & speaking w/ each other in a foreign language, they declared I needed to pay $1136.09 more. When asked why, they said most of my stuff were “antique.” I told them most of my stuff were just cheap, used furniture.

They told me they were Ukrainian. One did not speak English at all; the other did but was difficult to understand w/ a limited vocab. & heavy accent. So I called C, who rambled, apologized, then explained the men needed to be paid for their work before they could load my stuff. B/c I had home renovators coming the next day to prepare for listing my house, I had no choice but to pay the additional $1136.09.

(a) EXTRA CF–$614.12. Despite the estimate of 730 CF by C, who is a “manager,” the movers, who looked young and inexperienced, magically came up with 850 CF by simply looking at my items before loading anything onto the truck. This is ridiculous.

(b) PACKING MATERIALS–$222. C’s RBE was supposed to include all materials including $60 for picture boxes.

(c) STAIRS–$300. I had told C I had a 3-story Townhouse (TH) w/ two sets of stairs, & his RBE was supposed to account for the steps. The movers parked on the main floor level. I can agree to an extra $75 for the 4-5 steps outside the front door but not the remaining $225.

(d) LONG CARRY–$150. Per the RBE, each 75 ft. beyond the first 75 ft. is $75.00. The truck was parked right next to my TH building & only 2 attached THs away from mine. There is no way the distance was 225 ft away from my front door. At most, I can agree to an extra $75 based on 150 ft.

2) WRONGFUL DEMAND FOR $800 SHUTTLE FEES

24/7 called on 10/15/20 to say they would deliver on 10/16/20, but insisted I pay $800 more in “shuttle fees” first.

I had asked C specifically about “shuttle fees” mentioned in their “binding estimate” because a semi-truck would likely be unable to navigate the roadways around my Md townhouse and my LA apartment. C repeatedly assured me NO SHUTTLE FEES would be added because 24/7 was a “nationwide carrier” w/ many hubs including in MD & CA, & that a “REGULAR,” “26’ truck” would be coming to pick up and drop off my household goods. INDEED, I WAS NOT CHARGED SHUTTLE FEES FOR MOVE-OUT EVEN THO THE MOVERS USED A SMALL RYDER TRUCK. So 24/7 is absolutely wrong to maliciously withhold my household goods while insisting on additional “shuttle fees.”.

Long-distance move from San Mateo, CA to Cary, NC

They are dishonest and careless.

I dealt with a man named Russell who underestimated the move by almost $4000, lied to me about the PPE the movers would wear, recommended a criminal to move my automobile and was dishonest about how long it would take for my stuff to arrive. These guys are cheaper than the more expensive movers but using their service is not worth the aggravation, damage to your things, and risk of getting Covid because their movers don't believe in science.

Long-distance move from Washington, DC to Mountain View, CA

Simply poor customer service.

Hired them for a cross-country move. All the movers who showed up did a great job and were nice but the communication and professionalism from the corporate office was simply poor and lack luster. They lost a large card board box (22x16x15 in) during the move. They never apologized, or even agree to look for it. Simply saying it was lost and to file a claim. If we hadn't bought supplemental insurance it would have been terrible. The cost changed when we increased the amount shipped but then it changed again for unknown reasons. They also add shuttle fees a few days before the move saying they didn't know before (can easily be determined with Google Maps at any time, what changed 3 days before?) I cannot recommend them, and suggest looking elsewhere. Poor customer service.

Long-distance move from Santa Clara, CA to Las Vegas, NV

Long distance move from Santa Clara CA to Las Vegas NV

I feel it important to list the main questions you should be asking before accepting a quote on having your household moved by a moving company. You should be asking how much they charge per cubic foot. Ask them to describe to you how much the cubic feet actually is as far as room dimensions so that you have a realistic idea on how much truck you will fill with your belongings. Don’t rely on the sales person to communicate this properly. Do your research. For delivery date, ask if it is guaranteed or if it is window of time. What happens if they go beyond that window of time? And lastly, how they want the last payment on delivery paid. Below is the experience I had with 24/7 Logistics and I do not recommend this company at all to be in the running for a bid.

On June 26th I decided to research moving companies as my husband and I were planning on moving within the next year. So I filled out a survey and received a phone call from Sharon. I explained to Sharon that we didn’t have an idea on when we would be moving but we would be and we would be moving to Las Vegas from Santa Clara (bay area)CA. Initially she asked me how big of a place I have and I told her we had a 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex just under 1000 sq. ft. She then quoted me at 3k with $750 for full service which means the movers come and do that packing as well. What she did not review with me is that what she was quoting on is 700 cubic feet. Even if she had quoted on it, it was my reliance on this moving company to know how many cubic feet a 2 bedroom can fit into. So let me explain what 700 cubic feet is. It is equivalent to 1 bedroom (9x9x9). So imagine having a 2 bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom furniture, kitchen, dining room, living room furniture, as well as the garage fit into a 1 bedroom for packing. This is not realistic. We did not discover this error until in mid august I gave her a call and we went over inventory. She then upped my original $3750 quote to $6700 in which I was not happy with, but after discussing the inventory, I approved it. September 8th, the movers show up. They then quoted me at 10k (total) because of the space it took up to load up the truck. They would not load the truck unless I agreed to the 10k. At this point I should’ve told them to leave, but we had already made plans to be moved into Vegas the last weekend of September. The movers were instructed that the delivery date (2 weeks away) would be Sept 26th. My husband even took the following week off in order to assist with unpacking and getting the house set up. The mover was supposed to give me a final copy of the receipt at the end of the night, but it never showed up in my email. So I tried calling Sharon to find out where the final bill of lading was. She referred me to the Quality control person, Tom. I left a message for Tom and didn’t get a return phone call until the next day. In addition, I requested the final bill of lading and I got it on Wednesday. When reviewing the bill of lading I found out that the mover had written down the wrong date for delivery. They wrote down Sept 29th, not Sept 26 which was originally requested. I tried contacting Tom, Liz (the dispatcher) and didn’t get a response until 2 days later! The customer service with this company not only knows how to mislead, but they also know how not to answer the phone. I finally get a phone call back. And am told that they changed the date but not guaranteed for delivery on this day. “So let me get this straight, your movers made a mistake on the bill of lading, in addition I had to hound you for the bill of lading and now you are going to delay my delivery” was my response.

My husband and I arrived in Vegas on the 25th of September. We did not get delivery until October 5th and my husband was gone at this point. This was supposed to be delivered within 5 days of the date, 10 DAYS LATER!!! Do not make the same mistake I did and trust that the service you are paying for is what you are getting. for the final payment. Keep that in mind when choosing a company. Be wise when making your move. Ask the right questions. Learn from my bad experience.

Great Job with Long Distance Move and Pack

The team at 24/7 Logistic Services went well beyond meeting my expectations. I have zero complaints and nothing but kudos. From the initial call and screening, to the pre-pack update, to moving day (pack and load), to delivery, the team was exceptional. The packing team in Virginia took the care and time to ensure our items were well protected, while understanding the need to save space on the truck. Upon to delivery to our storage unit in Maine, the unload team worked quickly while minimizing storage space enabling us to store all items in a single unit, saving us $200+/month. The teams were professional, friendly, courteous, and efficient. I would recommend 24/7 Logistics to anyone looking to complete a long distance move.

Scam ..do not use this company

11/14/2020

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My grandmother signed a contract with them saying the earliest they could deliver was the 9th and the latest was the 11th. We are now across the country in Michigan from California, and it is the 14th with nothing! We were expecting them to be here on the 9th, the day we arrived. We are in a house with an air mattress and 2 elderly women, 4 dogs and 2 cats, waiting to hear from anybody with any information about where my grandmothers belongings are and when they will be arriving at the house. This has been the worst experience with a moving company and I will do everything I can to make sure nobody else ever has to go through this with them again. They have been avoiding our calls for 3 days now. We will be filing charges very soon. They take your money very quickly, but don't answer the phone after they get it. WHERE ARE MY GRANDMOTHERS BELONGINGS !?!?!?!?!?

Moving

We are very pleased with our experience with 24/7 Logistics. From the first call with Chris, we had experiences with first name people that actually did what they promised; called on time, had movers show up with notice and on time, worked through all of the details of the move, and, didn't get to any nickel and dime-ing at the end! The movers at pick up did a great job protecting both our belongings and the home we were moving out of. And, the movers that delivered our furnishings took that same care putting everything in it's place. Promise, delivery and friendliness, not to mention professionalism; can't say enough.
