Long-distance move from Fairfax, VA to Hallandale, FL

Excellent company.

As I promised I am sharing my experience with this excellent company. These guys moved my 2 bed room apartment from Virginia to Florida. I’m so grateful Artur and his crew for taking special care of my furniture. As he promised everything has arrived in one piece. Elizabeth from customer support was so kind and patient with me.
The guys who delivered my belongings were awesome too. They placed everything I asked them in designated areas. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because delivery took 4 days longer than I requested. Other than that I’m super happy with them. First time that I had to move and these people definitely made it smooth and stress free.

Long-distance move from Pennsylvania to Arizona

Move.

Not sure where to start with this miserable experience. Started off with scheduling to be at our house at 9 AM. They called and said they were running a little bit late. They showed up at 6 PM with two people to start packing a 5500 square ft house with a 4500 square foot basement. They packed until 10 PM when we said we need to get ready to wind down for the night. They requested starting at 5 AM because they were behind, we said okay and met them at 5 AM. Two guys once again (one left for 3 hours to get more packing supplies adding an additional $1,200 in cost to move) and we left the house at 10 PM. Day 3 we started at 7 AM and finished at 10 PM. I asked what time do we need to start to finish by noon on day 4, he told me 7 AM as they will have two more guys to help. We started at 7 am and did not finish until 12;30 AM! HE WAS OFF OVER 12 HOURS. Next issue was we were told all our belongings would fit in one trailer and was quoted $17,800 for the move from Pittsburgh, PA to Phoenix, AZ. Almost immediately the foreman tells us we have 1000 cubic feet to much and will need to pay $7,000 for another truck. I said not happening and was told I had to purge 1000 cubic feet. We scrambled and call people we know may need dressers, beds, couches etc. We purge a 1000 cubic feet and I'm promised everything else will fit. At midnight I still have 2 car garage full of stuff that I'm informed won't fit. I'm closing at noon that day and have to inform new buyer I'm not totally out and beg for more time. We close at noon and have until 5 PM to get out. We go rent a U Haul and pack it full and drop it off at a friends house. We then hire a driver to get it out to AZ ($3,800 additional cost). Our household goods didn't arrive for 2 weeks forcing us to rent a VRBO to live. Now in fairness to them in their contract they have 21 days but we were told at contract signing it would be 5 days. On the delivery side it was much smoother as the company showed up with 5 guys and really hustled and did a great job. [EDIT] I have moved 8 times for corporations and all have gone fairly smooth until this one with 24/7. [EDIT] I don't want any money back or freebies, I just want other consumers to be aware of this company and it's practices. Now I'm sure the company will try to spin they are good and we are bad because this will hurt their business. I suggest they clean up their act and serve the customer vs. trying to cover their butts.

Official company response

First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that our customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services in any way.

Upon carefully reviewing the customer’s complaint we find it necessary to note that there are quite a few discrepancies.

Full Tractor Trailer: The customer provided us with an inventory list consisting of 396 pieces to pack and ship. Based upon this list we decided that it would be best to provide the customer with a dedicated tractor trailer to use entirely for their items- in case they had some additional items. However, the customers said they had many more items (large home, with basement, garage, etc. which would not fit into one single tractor trailer). Therefore, the customers informed our Estimator they would eliminate quite a bit of their items and ship only the items on the inventory list of the Estimate. Otherwise it would take additional volume and we would have to obtain an additional 26 foot truck to accommodate any surplus. Should we have had to do this it would have cost the customer a lot more. Per the Terms of the Original Estimate and our applicable tariff a change in the order for the move will result in a change in the price of the move.

Packing: Yes, it did take our movers quite a bit of time to pack the customer’s items. This was a very, very large move and the customer ordered full packing for their items. In order to accommodate the customer’s packing before the move date we sent out a crew of two movers to pack the items. This is all we had available at the time as it was still during peak season for movers and our other crews were out on the road. The minute we had more movers available we sent them over to assist with packing the shipment.

Charges: The customer’s original quote was for a total of $17,580.60. The total they paid was $18,661.60. This is a difference of $1,081.00. The customer shipped a grandfather clock which is considered as a “bulky” item and we charge $150 for that. The movers had to perform a “long Carry Service” at the origin which means the tractor trailer could not get any closer to the door of the origin and the movers had to carry things an excessively long distance. Further, we did have to get additional packing supplies which cost $780.40. These are the ONLY charges the customer paid above his estimate.

Leaving Items: Because the customer did not want to pay for the additional truck and the additional items to be packed and shipped; and because we cannot expect our movers to work for free and could not obtain the additional truck at no charge, the customers CHOSE to move the additional items themselves. WE did not force them to do this. How can they complain it is our fault when we quoted them our price to pack, ship, deliver which was not but $2,000 more than they paid to do it themselves? We loaded the inventory list of items and some extra items into the tractor trailer. Beyond that the customers were well aware we were not going to service the extra items without additional payment, as described in the Original Estimate which they signed in agreement that they understood this term.

Time to Deliver: It would have been more economical for us to deliver the shipment and free up our trailer to use for other moves. Instead, the customer had said that they could not accept their delivery until at least a few days after their 1st available date of 08/15/18. As a courtesy, we kept the items stored at no charge to the customer. The customer was delivered 08/23/18.

Delivery Crew: The delivery crew was 24/7 movers all the way! We are glad to hear that at least this portion of the move the customer has no complaints! While the trailer may say North American- they are used trailers which we purchased and are utilizing for our company.

All in all, we feel that we went above and beyond for the customers with their move. Unfortunately, the customers do not agree and feel that we could have done better. We appreciate the customer’s input, but would have appreciated it even more if they could have addressed these concerns directly with us instead of posting on a public forum as if we are incapable of doing our jobs. We have tried and tried to contact the customer to see how they would like to resolve these concerns but they refuse to answer their phone. Price was substantially discounted, delivery was performed at the customer’s convenience, nothing was broken/damaged, and the customer is for some reason still dissatisfied.

We sincerely regret that the customer felt the need to file this complaint. We trust that the above explanations enable them to better understand our position on these matters.

Long-distance move from Edgewater, MD to Naples, FL

Very happy with my move with 24/7 Logistics.

I think the decision to pick a moving company is more stressful and scary than actually deciding to move from Maryland to Florida. I had made inquiries to other companies and received non-stop phone calls, texts and email. After some research, I came across 24/7 Logistics. I spoke with Charles initially. We went over the list of my belongings, costs, etc. He sent me an estimate that had everything explained out for me. I wanted to make sure I was not charged for any additional expenses at time of pick up or delivery. I called him back several times with questions and he responded right away. I set up a day for the move, the movers kept me updated on their time of arrival. On arrival, the mover (I forget his name, super nice) looked over my estimate and inventory. He said that I had more boxes than I had quoted (he was completely right). They packed up everything, small items that were not in boxes, they boxed for me at no extra charge. At the end of packing the truck, the estimate was off by only $100-200 due to my boxes. When I had an actual address I was moving too, I let the company know where and what the move in date was. Because my stuff was in storage for a little while, they had to arrange my delivery based on other deliveries. My stuff came within a week of my move in date and I was ok with that. I was given a time that the truck would be there, unfortunately they hit traffic and the time they arrived was much later but they had kept me updated. I was just so happy to see them. The guys unpacked my belonging within a couple hours, made sure everything was reassembled, beds were assembled, boxes were placed in the right rooms. They packed my furniture so well, there was not a scratch or tear on anything. I could have never packed it so well. Also, having the estimate, I only paid what was on the estimate. NO hidden fees or expenses. You hear about furniture being held on the truck for more money, that NEVER happened. I paid what was due and my stuff came off the truck. Elizabeth in the office was wonderful, she kept me updated on the upcoming delivery and spelled everything out for me. I would definitely recommend 24/7 Logistics and use them again.

Long-distance move from Adrian, GA to Fort Laramie, WY

Move from GA to WY.

I never write reviews but 24/7 Logistic deserves one. From start to finish my experience with this company has been amazing. Ashley was my relocation specialist and she was beyond thorough asking questions about my move that no other sales representative asked. She was very patient with all the questions we had and always answer our phone calls and emails. Elizabeth from dispatch was very helpful and nice. We loved the free tracking service.
On pick up Hugh and his crew arrived on time bright and early to help my wife and I pack the whole house. We were blown away that not only our price went down from the initial quote we received but how much respect the movers showed us and how professional they were and just like they promised everything arrived to our new home in on piece. My wife loved how on delivery they place everything piece of furniture where she wanted it.
This is a wonderful company and if your looking for great service, a REAL and fair price and not the run around then this is the company for you.

Long-distance move from Atlanta, GA to Miami, FL

Great company.

I loved this company. I am so grateful for their price they gave me and work they have done. I was very limited on my budget and I was very concerned about it when I was choosing a company to move me from Atlanta to Miami as I read so many bad reviews about other moving companies that up-charging on the actual moving day. I did not have much of the furniture and what they quoted me that is what I paid them. The guys who moved me were very friendly, polite and worked super fast. I got them pizza after they finish. They also delivered my belongings in 2 days as they promised. Thank you once again Andrew, Kosta I think and my sales representative Bill.
I will definitely recommend these guys to whoever needs to move.

Long-distance move from Alpine, CA to Bismarck, ND

24/7 Logistics Services move from Alpine, CA to Bismarck, ND.

If I could go do it over again
1. Sold a lot of my stuff and U-hauled the rest
2. Use different company
3. Not do an estimate over the phone
4. Would have listened to the bad reviews of this company
If I had to use this company again
1. Read all the papers and estimates given to me. All the fine print would have saved me a lot of pain and heartache
2. Automatically added at least $1200 on to any estimate.
3. Set a better delivery date so that the 21 business days would have started sooner. (pregnant wife sleeping on an air mattress for a month makes for less than favorable living conditions for me.)

Moved from California to North Dakota. I talked with Charles Miller and he sounded reassuring and trustable. Charles asked the questions and I answered for the estimate. I was told he was overestimating so there would be no way I pay higher. If anything, it would be lower. I was quoted $5648.08 for 669 cubic feet. When the movers showed up there was only 2 of them which worried me because I had paid for the full pack. I have a pregnant wife and she had been in the hospital for weeks leading up to the move. The movers did work effectively and timely. I wanted to pay for the move with a credit card the whole way. I had told Charles this and he advised the last payment at delivery would have to be cash or money order but I could pay the whole balance at pickup with the credit card. During the pickup we ran past our 669 cubic feet and ended with estimated 900 cubic feet. During the pickup after they went past the 669 cubic feet, I kept asking how much we were looking at and he kept saying will not be over 800. At the time I thought he meant $800 extra but now that I write this, he might have meant 800 cubic feet total. Either way he was wrong. After the pickup team was done and I was given my new final price of $7202.51 (After throwing out items). $1554.43 more than originally estimated. I was unsure on this extra being added to the amount and the move team advised me to just pay up to the 50% required at pickup and I could use my credit card as long as its at least 7 days before delivery and I could call and ask questions with the 24/7 team in Florida. Our pickup date was the 22nd of December. I did not call for couple days due to holidays. So, on the 26th I called and was advised that I was given false information from the pickup team and that I could not use a credit card after pickup and that I would now have to pay with cash or money order on delivery. I set my delivery date for the 1st of January and was not told about the up to 21 business days past the delivery date. In their defense it does say it on the estimate given to me at the bottom. I was told about the 2-day window for pickup but why not this. I looked on google maps and it would take me (nonstop) 22 days and 9 hours to WALK from pickup to delivery. Adding 8 hours of sleep per day 29 days and 17 hours to walk. Only 25-hour drive. The pickup was on the 22nd and it is now the 23rd of January and I have still not received my stuff. 31 days and it still hasn’t left California. If it runs over the 21 business days big penalty? Nope $25 off final price per day. Guess all the extra money I paid over the estimate should more than cover any losses they could accumulate here. I’ve been calling every couple of days to the phone number given to me at ext#108 to acquire about my stuff. Cannot remember her name (Sorry) but sounds extremely unenthusiastic, and borderline annoyed to be talking to me like she gets these calls all the time about her company. When I first talked to her about the credit card issue, I asked to talk to someone higher and she said she was the highest I could go. I will rerate after I receive my stuff. 2 stars for now and we’ll see which way it goes once I receive my stuff. Didn’t want to rate early in fears of what else they would hit me with charges on my bill but at this point I just want my stuff. The pregnant wife needs a real bed SOON!!

Dear Brett,

Please accept our sincere apologies, we understand how inconvenient it can be not to have your furniture, but your route is indeed not the easiest one.
We are doing our best to deliver you as soon as we can. Sometimes things don’t go the way we want them to, but the weather in North Dakota is really bad right now, snow, roads are frozen. We will get back to you shortly with an update on your delivery.

My Move With 24/7 Logistic Services.

When I found out that I had to move I decided that I was going to use a moving Company. I put in the request to get some estimates. I was fortunate to get Charles Miller on the phone from 24/7 Logistic Services whom was kind enough to share with me some very valuable information

After speaking with a few Companies, I choose 24/7 Logistic Services as my Moving Company. I did so because of the time and care that Charles spent with me. From making sure the list of my Inventory was correct to always being available whenever I called with any questions. Charles even called me a few days prior to the move to go over my list of things for accuracy. It was nice to have 1 person to deal with throughout the process.

Now comes to the day of the move. I choose a FULL PACK which meant that THEY were going to come In and pack & wrap all my things. They arrived on time and the guys that moved me were very kind and courteous, professional & efficient. Before I knew it – everything was packed up and ready to go. I must admit I was a bit nervous about seeing all my things go onto a truck. Soon it was delivery day. All my furniture was unpacked and placed where I asked them to put them. The process went very quickly. Surprisingly Nothing was broken everything arrived ( the guys really did a great job packing ).

24/7 Logistic services made my move a great experience. From the office staff to the movers these guys were easy to work with.
I would refer them to anyone and would use them again if I needed to.

Long-distance move from Boston, MA to Fort Lauderdale, FL

Highly recommend their services for anyone moving between states.

Recently moved from an apartment in Boston, Massachusetts to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The representative that worked with me helped me throughout the whole process. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the moving business. They communicated with me throughout the move, with updates and answering my (many) questions.

The delivery actually happened a day before which was simply AMAZING for such a great distance. After looking up online for multiple alternatives, I found 24/7 and did not have to look any further!

Great experience and reliable.

We had an excellent experience. We moved between states on the east coast about 1200 miles apart. The staff were patient and thorough to catalog our belongings and update us on arrival date and time. The movers were very helpful, polite and professional. They took excellent care of all furniture and fragile boxes. They packed items, too, as we had a tight deadline before our move-out date. The same set of movers delivered our home goods to our destination. They asked each step of the way where we wanted boxes and furniture placed at our destination. A very positive experience and we highly recommend this company for any move, especially interstate.

Long-distance move from Reading, PA to Miami, FL

My moving experience PA-FL.

24/7 was a pleasure to work with. The rep I spoke to streamlined the whole setup and made an already hectic move a bit more stress free.

They made an accurate estimate of my move’s weight and size to give me a quote over the phone - this was something I worried about, considering I was moving long distance from PA to FL - I feared any change in price would be a big one. They were spot on though and the billing was consistent.

They set a 2 day window for pickup and remained in contact with me providing updates along the way and they showed up on time the first day! Delivery was on time as well with no damages, so I’m a happy camper.

Long-distance move from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA

Moving review.

I am surprised to see some negative reviews but I suppose not everyone thoroughly reads their proposals and contract details. Having to move from Dallas to Atlanta after the holidays was quite a task but I was referred by a friend and gave them a call.
This was my first time hiring professional movers and I was extremely pleased with how it turned out. Truck and movers arrived on time for pick up, were careful with my furniture, and friendly. The arrival time at my new home was a few hours behind but I was notified and knew they were facing inclement weather so I did not mind. All my belongings were place in appropriate rooms (as directed by my ten year old, our “Operations Director”), and most importantly nothing was damaged. I highly recommend their team and dedication to deliver exceptional experience for a task that frustrates most of us from time to time.

Movers.

I have never needed to use moving services before and was nervous to pick a mover. I did my homework and asked lots of questions and finally decided to go with 24/7 Logistic Services. Erick and the manger Charles were very friendly and easy to work with and answered all of my questions quickly. When the moving day came the two guys came within the time frame and worked very efficiently. They were kind enough to include two camping chairs and a small tool set I forgot. I paid what I was quoted and not any extra. My husband and I moved from California to Virginia. We took advantage of using part of the 30 days of free storage. Once we knew our address I called to schedule the delivery. It only took about 12 days for them to schedule a driver and drive everything all the way across the county. My only complaints are they never called once they scheduled a driver so we didn’t know when our belonging were arriving until I happen to call the day before they arrived. They did arrive about 30 minutes after the time frame but most likely due to traffic. I had to pay $75 for a flight of stairs which I anticipated but they ended up walking around the building which is pretty close, probably around 75 feet. Last they left a few small stains on our carpet from walking on the grass and getting mud on their shoes. I put a towel down and they just seemed a bit rushed and didn’t bother to whip their shoes off. Overall I was happy with the service. They answered all my questions quickly. Nothing was broken! I will defiantly use them again for future moves and would refer family & friends to them.

Long-distance move from Huntingdon, PA to Charlevoix, MI

24/7 Logistics gave great service.

After talking to numerous companies about our move from PA to MI, we settled on 24/7 Logistics Services. Charles, our rep, did a great job going over the list of inventory and working with us on the price. We discussed using a straight 26' truck versus a regular large moving van because our location in PA required a shuttle truck to get out items down a steep hill and then up another hill to the larger van. I was concerned about having my items handled several times. We settled on the straight truck which is door to door. The risk was that some of our items may not make it onto the truck and we did have to leave the inexpensive wicker porch furniture. Demitri and Anthony arrived on the day planned and did a great job wrapping all our furniture and securing it safely in the truck, and the truck was packed to the gills! There were several very heavy pieces of furniture, and the washer and dryer to move along with some very old antiques. They did a great job of getting items on the truck. Everything arrived safely in MI on the day planned. They were very polite guys and put together our beds and Anthony, who had some construction experience, helped my husband with a small connection issue with the washing machine. Everything worked out very well.

We made a great choice..

This team deserves this review because me and my family feared the worst when having to pick a moving company. We heard alot of Horror stories about other peoples moving experiences. Eric was the Rep that I reluctantly answered my phone for from 24/7 and I was delighted at how knowledgeable, courteous and professional he was. The whole process of reserving was simple and straight forward. I paid more than I wanted to spend by a few hundred dollars but my furnishings are still pretty new and I wanted to keep them looking that way. I spoke breifly with the operations manager Charles before completing my reservation and he was also friendly and informative and reassured us of a great move to come. Moving day was near flawless excpept the truck called to say that they would be late a couple of hours. We were upset and thought that things were going bad but when the crew arrived the apologized about being slowed by the morning rain at their first job. They apologized and quickly got to work. Arthur and his team are very skilled and talented packers and we could not beleive how quick they loaded our belongings. We liked the free tracking service feature on the website and move in day went very well and we were amazed at how nothing was damaged. We would definitely use Eric and 24/7 Logistic Services again and we recommended them to friends that will be moving in the spring. Great job guys!!

Don’t even bother.

Being military, all I asked for was weight tickets.. they could have broken all of my stuff and I wouldn’t have been as ticked off. Charles, the sales manager, great guy on the phone, makes you feel like they really care, really hounds you to get on board. So the one thing I asked for, they told me he never wrote it on his notes. And oh boy, their operator is the rudest person I’ve ever met, and I’ve been deployed! Really good at charging you, but not as good as delivering as promised. If you’re moving, I’d recommend not using this company. Had high hopes for them, but failed me miserably.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

Official company response

First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services.

Next, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our customer for their selfless service.

Explanation: The customer contacted our company months ago getting an initial quote and then moved on with obtaining quotes from other companies. This is the only time they had mentioned to us that they wanted to shipment to be weighed and needed the weight tickets for the military. Time passed and we assumed that the customer had chosen another mover to perform the move. After a few months the customer reached back out to us and wanted to book their move. We reviewed the details which of the move which are necessary such as the inventory list, the window for the pickup, the window for the delivery, what other services may need to be provided in order to avoid surprises on move day (such as are there stairs at the origin or destination or can a 75 foot tractor trailer access both the origin and the destination without any problems, etc.). Our Estimator and the customer were very busy discussing the price for the services, reviewing all the terms of using our services, and then finally corresponding with Dispatch to make sure the move could be incorporated into a route to meet the customer’s scheduling needs . Never, not one time during this conversation (nor the many other times we spoke with the customer) did they ever mention again that they would need the shipment to be weighed and will need the weight tickets for reimbursement. Not even on move day was the subject brought up. Unfortunately, we cannot be expected to remember this information which was only mentioned one time months before. We would have gladly complied with this request. We do everything possible to make our customers happy and would never intentionally do anything to cause our customers grief. Had the customer mentioned this requirement the day of the move or even upon booking, during the Quality Assurance call from Customer Service, or any time before the delivery we would have happily weighed the shipment and given him the weight tickets. However, the customer did not do this, we were not aware, and there are not any weight tickets for this move. They do not exist and the shipment has been fully delivered. Our hands are tied.

Suggestion: The only possible thing we could suggest is for the customer to approach the military with the fact that movers use a standard conversion from cubic feet to weight by multiplying the cubic feet by the number 7. The customer’s shipment was 2,212 cubic feet and if we convert that by using the number 7 it totals 15,484 lbs. While this may not be precise as far as weight, it is the only solution we can come up with to assist our customer with obtaining reimbursement for their move.

We regret that the customer felt the need to file a complaint. We trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position on these matters.

I needed to find a mover for my inlaws who were relocating to GA, and I called several companies. Charles, with 24/7 Logistic Services was great in helping me to itemize what we were bringing, giving me a great price, and following up with me daily to make sure we were on the same track to avoid any misunderstandings. The crew that he sent out was fantastic!! Just great guys that worked hard and were attentive to and aware of how difficult and stressful it is to move. The company lost several 1000 dollars worth of our items and memories. They picked up our 4 bedroom house in NY. When our closing date was moved, they said they would store our things free. After just a few days we closed and asked for our things. They said we had to wait until their schedule ( and another family was ready). A few days later they moved our things to South Carolina. Our belongings were packed in a truck with another family! They unloaded the truck so fast it filled a two car garage and they left. No person could have checked off their things as they came off the truck!! As days and weeks went buy we noticed several boxes and suitcase missing. An entire set of Mikasa China, A box of kitchen items with Cutco knives, A green suitcase filled with personal items, a brand new vacume still in the box and all of our wine and liquor!! The company said sorry this happens and stickers fall off. Our claim was of course denied. It’s not rocket science, either the drivers took our things or the family who shared our truck has them! The invoice was sloppy and hard to read, the stickers are garbage!

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $5800

Official company response

Our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services.

Courtesy: Free storage is only available if it is requested at the booking of the move. However, when the customer encountered troubles with their closing we volunteered as a CUSTOMER COURTESY to store their items indefinitely without any charge.

Delivery: Per our Estimate and Bill of Lading governing this move, we have up to 21 business days from our first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customer’s requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable.

Consolidation of Shipments: Even major van lines consolidate shipments. This is done to make the route efficient and keep the rates for shipping household goods at a reasonable rate. The customer had the option to select and pay for the Dedicated Truck Service but they chose to enjoy the lower rates for their move instead.

Delivery: The customers are asked to check off the items as they are unloaded from the truck at the delivery. The inventory sheets listing every item loaded / unloaded from the truck specifically state:

“We have checked all the items listed and numbered 1 to __ inclusive and acknowledge that this is a true and complete list of the goods tendered and of the state of the goods received.
WARNING → BEFORE SIGNING CHECK SHIPMENT, COUNT ITEMS AND DESCRIBE LOSS OR DAMAGE IN SPACE ON THE RIGHT ABOVE.”

**The customer signed that all items were received**

Allegations: We do not appreciate the allegations that the customer makes about theft. We have worked very hard to build this company from the ground up based on hard work, dedication, and honesty. This company is our livelihood and is meant to be passed on to our children, and theirs to come. Many employees depend upon our company to be able to provide for their families. We would not ever entertain the slightest notion to take anyone’s items. There is nothing on earth valuable enough to risk the future of so many people. It would be appreciated if the customers would kindly refrain from making such allegations. We have performed a trace to try to locate their items. We ask that the customers please keep us updated with their contact information should it change, just in case the items were inadvertently mixed in with a shipment delivered to storage, or someone is out of the country and cannot unpack quickly. If we receive word that their items are located we will do everything in our power to return their items. We do understand their items are sentimental, but we also ask the customers to understand that this is a work in progress. These inventory numbers do, in extreme weather conditions come off and it is no fault of ours. Our investigation into these matters will continue.

We regret that the customer felt the need to post such a negative review. We trust that the above explanations enable them to better understand our position on these matters.

Long-distance move from South Carolina to Virginia

Outstanding and Flawless Move.

We’ve moved many times with the military as well as several corporate moves. Having started a small business, I was now more cost constrained than ever knowing I’d have to pay for the move with no reimbursements. After speaking to several companies, it was 24/7 Logistics and more specifically Charles, who made me feel at ease with my move, greatly reducing my stress.

Charles was responsive on multiple occasions (same day responses) and worked with me as we finalized our house purchase in what ended up being a nearly 3-month process. During this time, Charles continued communication with me, never changed the agreed upon price, and even provided several discounts that greatly helped as we purchased a new home.

On the day of the move the movers arrived on-time and worked tirelessly throughout the next two days. They were very courteous listening to my wife’s concerns regarding important items and went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable with the packing and labeling of the boxes.

At our new home, the team communicated with us while in transit and arrived on time. The same care they showed at our departure location was evident at our new home. Not only were they careful with the furniture and boxes, they were genuinely concerned about ensuring the walls and such were not damaged as they moved items up/down stairs. Very conscientious and very responsible crew. They removed all the trash and boxes that were unpacked.

Highly recommend 25/7 logistics for your move. Ask for Charles…. he’s the BEST!!

Long-distance move from San Francisco, CA to Boise, ID

Great moving company - Definietly reccomend!

These guys were great! We moved from San Francisco to Boise Id and ran into some issues with street closures/construction in SF. This put us in a tough spot as there were limited times that we could arrange the pick up. 24/7 logistics staff were professional and very accommodating. On top of that, my girlfriend and I searched up and down for the best pricing and level of service, we decided on 24/7 Logistics and are so glad we did. Our items arrived in good condition, in excellent timing, and couldn't be happier. Thank you 24/7 Logistics. I would definitely recommend them!

Long-distance move from Staten Island, NY to Davenport, FL

Worse moving experience.

Stay away from 24/7 Logistic movers!! If you value your possessions stay away. It been six weeks since I got here and still finding things that were stolen and broken. I am truly heart broken. My worse nightmare come true. When I complained I was referred to their insurance dept withno sympathy and compassion. A job that should have taken 3-7 days took 3 weeks. Apparently one driver takes your things half way and another continues the load. They couldn't find a second driver to finish the load. I had broken items and stolen items. Heart broken to say the least. I will never refer or use this company again. No amount of money can compensated orreplace what I lost..

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $434

Official company response

We extend our sincere apologies to our customer for their inconveniences. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services.

Delivery: The customer was asked what date will be the first available date they will be ready for delivery. The customer stated 03/04/19. From that date we have up to 21 business days to attempt the delivery of the shipment. We will not guarantee a date for delivery unless a dedicated truck was requested and paid for. The customer was delivered on 03/15/19. That is 9 business days for the delivery. There was no delay at the delivery.

2nd Driver: It was not that we could not find a 2nd driver to complete the delivery. It was the fact that the logistics of the moving industry are complicated and unpredictable. In order to keep the cost of shipping household goods at an affordable rate, movers consolidate shipments. We must wait for all of the scheduled shipments to be picked up and then they are loaded on to the tractor trailer for their delivery route. Even the large corporations consolidate shipments. Sometimes there are complications which can cause the routes to take a bit more time. However, this is why movers provide customers with a delivery window (up to 21 business days from the customer’s chosen 1st available date that they can accept their delivery). But, this shipment was not waiting on a “2nd driver”.

Missing / Damaged Items: When we received word about the customers having missing items we did express to the customers how sincerely sorry we were. Mr. D. submitted information about what items they are missing (a couple kitchen items / boxes). We performed a very thorough search around our warehouse. Unfortunately, nothing was located. A trace was initiated for these items and we simply ask that the customers are patient. We also ask that the customers keep us updated with their contact information should it change. If the boxes were inadvertently delivered to another customer whose items went to storage, they could possibly be located at a later date. We WILL contact the customers should their items be reported as found.

However, until we have final word about the whereabouts of their missing items, we also contacted our 3rd party claims company and initiated a claim file on behalf of the customers. We provided all the documentation for the move that CSI requires. CSI sent the customers login information today to their email they provided when they received the initial quote from our company. Per Federal Regulations we must NOT voluntarily pay any claims unless filed in writing per the filing requirements and provide all the support required to allow our claims company to properly analyze the claim.

We regret that the customer felt the need to file this review. Everything we can do for them is currently being done.

Long-distance move from New York to Florida

Excellent service.

I hired 24/7 logistic services to do my move from NY to Florida. I was very happy with the result, from the start my rep Charles was in constant communication with me and was very responsive any time I called or emailed. Come moving day the crew was very good, I’ve done several moves before and this time I did not have the time to deal with packing. They did an excellent job packing all of my boxes and furniture I was truly impressed. When my stuff arrived everything was unloaded and put together. No damage and the guys worked hard to get everything done. I am very pleased to recommend 24/7 you guys were great! Thank you.

Wonderful service!

These guys were great from beginning to end. My rep David was so nice and thorough, he made sure to include everything I needed and even gave me free T.v. Boxes! The guys were awesome and very courteous with my stuff. They wrapped everything and nothing was broken. They arrived a day after we had agreed but things happen and it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall I give these guys 5 stars and will definitely be calling them to move again.

Long-distance move from Pittsburgh, PA to Seattle, WA

Easy Cross Country Move.

We moved from Pittsburgh to Seattle earlier this year with 24/7. Everyone was great throughout the whole process, they are very easy to work with and we received our items in great condition, which we were really worried about with a cross country move. The only issue we had was communication with the physical movers on the delivery end, but otherwise we had a great move!

Long-distance move from Wilmington, DE to Ormond Beach, FL

Movers Beware.

LOTS of damage! What wasn't not delivered (tools, linens, etc) was either broken (mirrors they packed), scratched (all of our furniture) or damaged (busted a king size bed headboard that ended up in the dumpster). L A Z Y delivery guys. Scratched hard wood floors. Told to get a marker and it will be like new. Elizabeth is the worst customer service person we have ever encountered in our entire life (and we're old folks). Power washer mysterically reappeared after suggesting sticky fingers, obviously was wrongly used/abused, and then didn't work. Guys Good on the front end (although they started loading at 1130 pm), but, bottom line, LOTS of LOSS! Loaded into 1 truck, paid for committed truck and direct delivery. BUT, then said we needed 2 trucks. The ONE truck was off loaded into a warehouse in MD, then a week or so later, they loaded our stuff into 2 trucks to move to FL. LOTS happened in that manuver. Just BEWARE! Stay clear. We moved from Wilmington DE to Ormond Beach FL (9/1/2018). Everything was A OK from contact until packed truck left our place. After that, they REALLY dropped the ball.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

Official company response

On behalf of our staff at 24/7 Logistic Services we would like to apologize that our customer feels that they received less than outstanding services for their move. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Truck(s): Every moving truck is not the same size. Some have larger dimensions which allow additional room for transporting shipments. Some moving trucks have the overhead compartment for loading additional items which can add quite a bit of volume for the movers to load things into. The trucks used for pickup and delivery were not the very same truck(s). The delivery did require the movers use a very little bit of space in the 2nd truck in order to deliver the shipment.

Dedicated Truck / Direct Delivery: Nowhere on the Original Estimate nor on the contractual Bill of Lading does it state that the customer ordered or paid for either of these services. These services would have to be ordered, scheduled, logistically and strategically planned in order to be provided. Further, it would have to be listed on the documents and paid for. We are happy to provide the documents to support our explanation.

Power Washer: The customer reported the power washer as missing on 09/11/18 (one week after delivery of her items). However, we looked in the warehouse and found this item. We took the time and paid all the expenses to deliver this item to the customer. The mechanical condition of this item was unknown from the start. We do not start up machinery at any time. However, we can let the liability be determined through the claims process. If we are liable we will compensate the customer for the item.

Claim: Our claims company’s contact information is printed on the Original Estimate and is also printed on the Bill of Lading. When the customer called and reported they had missing or damaged items we then reiterated that they are welcome to file a claim and gave them CSI’s contact information again. The customer was delivered 09/04/18. Up to date no claim has been received. Therefore, we sent all the documentation for this move to CSI and instructed them to initiate a claim file on behalf of the customer. The customers were emailed login information today 05/16/19 with their unique claim id number. The claim login information sent to the customer allows filing a claim for loss, damage, delay, overcharge, and complaint. All the above can and must be compensated through the claims process as required by federal regulations. We are unable to offer any monetary compensation to the customer until they file a claim and provide all the support required to allow our claims company to properly analyze the claim. Once their claim is filed we will be able to determine the extent of the damage and make better decision regarding the compensation we may be able to offer. Also per Federal Regulations the customers have 9 months from their delivery date to file their claim. They have allowed so much time to pass that they now must have their claim filed by 06/04/19. We would like to encourage the customer to submit their claim for all their concerns about their move at their first opportunity. Should the customer have questions about filing their claim they may contact CSI directly at 772-742-5246 between the hours of 9am to 5pm EST or they may email them at info@csipros.org.

We regret that the customer felt the need to post this review. We trust that they will attempt to work together with us to reach an amicable resolution through the claims process.

Move from PA to NC.

I was very pleased with all aspects of the move, from customer service, when I booked my move, through to the placement of my furniture when it was delivered. The employees of 24/7 are polite, curtious and very professional. They took great care in wrapping my furniture and everything was in good shape when it arrived. So much better then trying to move myself.
