Watching my furniture being wrapped so carefully gave me peace of mind. Every piece was secured before being loaded, and the team worked together seamlessly. They took their time navigating narrow hallways, ensuring my walls and doors stayed untouched. Even my most fragile decorations were packed as if they were priceless artifacts. Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6230

Long-distance moving always made me nervous, but this time was different. The crew communicated every step of the way, ensuring my belongings arrived safely and on time. X Van Lines exceeded my expectations in every way! They were punctual, polite, and efficient from the moment they arrived. The team worked quickly and carefully, making sure that everything was packed and transported safely. They even took care of my fragile items, wrapping them securely. Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5570

Absolutely NEVER USE this moving broker, they will damage and lose your items. They will overcharge you and nickle and dime you in every way. They will promise your delivery by a certain date and then make excuses for it being delayed.

Here’s how they work, first they have a salesman give you a low rate and promise you everything, then they will have their “logistics guy” call you 3 days in advance. He will then tell you that your items are bigger than the sales guy sold you room for. Then on the day of pickup and loading they will have the driver “review your load.” He will then claim some items are bigger than the logistics guy sold you space for. They will charge you more on load. Then comes delivery, at least a few days late, if you’re lucky, mine was 1 week late. Once they unload your boxes they will be smashed, broken, retapped, and missing. Everything about this moving service is unprofessional and shady. Just pay the money for the real and professional movers not this company!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

Recently we used X vanlines to move our Mother from Fresno California to Arizona where she was moving into an assisted living facility. We were told that our timing was perfect as they had a customer in Sacramento with their furniture going to Phoenix AZ.

They would pickup in Sacramento then to us in Fresno and then onto Arizona. They told us that they would deliver on the outside the 8th or 9th of July. The pickup was fine with the exception of asking for more money for wrapping our furniture. After they left I never received a copy of any of the documents I had to sign. After 3 weeks of being lied to as to the whereabouts of my Mother's furniture and demanding to know where it was I was told in their storage units in Sacramento . At this point I flew to Sacramento rented a truck and loaded all up and drove the 14 hours to Arizona.

I was lied to, I was hit up for more money, and after all I received no apology . I would never recommend this company NEVER

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1418

Xvanlines is a shameless company that will keep your deposit for services not rendered, even if you are unable move, served for 24 years & 100% disabled naval veteran!

After trying to work with this company through many phone calls and emails, only to receive the runaround for three weeks. Then, finally, my wife was sent a rude and abrasive email stating that she should read the contract you signed (You only have 3 days to try to cancel once you sign and it’s only good for a year btw)!

Sad to have served almost a quarter of my life for a country that has businesses who would choose to take advantage of people. When they could set a new and better standard vs the “Industry standard” that they are content with doing. The bare minimum for their “valued customers”.

I would think that a company would want to work with customers that chose them in the first place and keep them for the long haul instead of screwing them over with abrasive and underhanded tactics.

My advice to anyone looking to move is to inquire about the companies cancelation terms.

I hope everyone has the opportunity to read this before they also become a victim of Xvanlines.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2200

I was deliberately low-balled an estimated square feet for my move. I was told that even though everyone's items are shaped differently they would add extra room, for an up-charge of 2 thousand dollars, to make sure everything fit. One third of my belongings did not fit. I had no choice but to leave 1/3 of my house on the curb. My things were stored almost three weeks at an undisclosed location where they were ruined, gone through, and left.

Sunday, July 27th I received a text from the driver saying he would be here the next day and would text me an ETA in the morning. I took the day off of work.

I checked in at 9am, no response. 11am, no response. Finally around noon I called customer service, and then he let me know it would be MIDNIGHT. He changed it to early the next morning, but I had moved all meetings to Tuesday morning due to HIM SAYING he would be here Monday. I said noon is the earliest. At 11am I texted and he said he was 3 hours away. At 2pm, when he said he would be arriving, he sent a GPS pic saying he was ANOTHER 3 HOURS AWAY.

At this point I called customer service to start the complaint process.

The GPS picture he sent said his arrival is 445pm. He did not show up until 6:40pm.

On arrival boxes and plastic bins were demolished and unusable. Furniture that was packed up is missing screws and parts. Shattered glass, dishes, BBQ table bent and will not roll, water stains on couch and the fabric is loose and ruined one bin of items never made it. INSIDE of my bins I found things from other people, they were not my belongings. It's obvious my bins and boxes were looked through because everything was shifted, especially when other people's things are inside.

This was the plan all along. Tell customers the smallest size with the best price. Then, when they get there, nothing fits. Here is a list of items that didn't fit:

1 Dresser

1 desk

2 patio chairs

2 barbells

1 squat rack

1 sandbag

6 kettlebells

8 dumbbells

200 lbs of bumper plates.

Even the man that was hired locally to help said they have anawful reputation as a company and are known to rip people off and ruin all of their stuff.

They completely took advantage of me, like I am sure they've done with hundreds of other people. Nobody is this awful at their job. I took 12 hours of work off because of the inability to do thier job.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5300

X Van Lines is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They started out very professionally and fairly. Approximately one month after I hired them, things got ugly. They increased my estimate significantly. The employees become arrogant and nasty. I couldn’t shut them down. There was no time to change to a better company and they had my money. The drivers were contractors. They had no identification. They were rude, unprofessional and scary. I didn’t know that they were going to take my belongings to a random location and unpack it. And that they would bring it to me at some point between 2-30 days. Please. Please don’t hire this company. My life was in the back of their truck. I feared that I would never see my belongings again. Family pictures. Collected memories etc. Moving many miles isn’t easy. The stress and panic they put me through was over the top.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5741

This company on their website claims they are not a subcontractor, but in fact they are! Price kept going higher with no answer of when we would get our furniture. We were told it was put into storage so they actually unloaded the truck and when it was time to finally get it to us, a subcontractor was used Who loaded the truck and drove it to us to unload it. The movers themselves were great. And I did speak to a lot of nice representatives, but this company cannot be trusted!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

We had a slightly complicated move in which we added a second site to drop items off prior to moving to our new home. They planned it beautifully and staged all of that move into a section of the truck so there were no errors when the applicable unloading took place.

The crew worked extremely well together and as I already mentioned, they worked efficiently and methodically. We had a second move a week later and requested the same team due to there high work ethic. Both moves were of the highest quality.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3330

From the beginning the communication was efficient & timely. Christie helped me with a quote & updated quote when our list of items changed as the packing continued.

John and Damian were our movers and showed up on time and moved so quick we couldn’t believe how fast everything was finished! They were so kind and helpful the entire process.
