My name is Roger Pena. 2 weeks ago my daughter got a job in Washington. So she had to leave Texas immediately. It was so sudden but she did not have anything with her as far as furniture goes. I was scared because I was sending her inheritance through XVan Lines. I was so nervous and worried so I called customer service and some lady named Nicole got on the line. Mind you this was extremely important to me to give my daughter her inheritance. I was scared of getting scammed and I called her every day. I’m sure was a pest but she reassured me all the time that she would get it. She even called me a couple of times to see if I was ok. Because of her , she told me to the last minute the name of the driver and when they would arrived. She was God send. Nicole thank you so much for being an angel. You don’t know what it meant to me for my daughter getting her inheritance.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3400

I recently had the pleasure of using X Van Lines for a major relocation, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, their service was exceptional.

The process began with a sales representative, Justin, who immediately put me at ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable, walking me through every step of the move with patience and clarity. His responsiveness to my questions and concerns was impressive, and his attention to detail ensured that no aspect of the move was overlooked. I felt confident and well-informed throughout, which was crucial given the complexity of our move.

On moving day, the crew arrived promptly and were nothing short of outstanding. Their professionalism was evident from the start. They handled our belongings with the utmost care, wrapping and packing everything securely. What stood out was their efficiency and teamwork; they managed to complete the move in less time than expected without compromising on care. Their positive attitude and respect for our home made the entire experience much less stressful.

One particular highlight was their meticulous approach to handling fragile items. I was particularly anxious about our antique furniture, but the crew’s expertise in handling these items alleviated my concerns. Everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition.

Overall, X Van Lines exceeded my expectations in every way. They transformed what is often a stressful experience into a seamless and smooth process. Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8700

If you don’t read this whole thing just know to not choose xvanlines!!! I could post pictures on pictures at this point. You will be out thousands ($11,050 to be exact for me), receive items that are not yours, your items will be broken, damaged, and missing! Nichole, Jamie, and Leah will be of zero help, they all have the same lingo as if they are reading a prompt!

Where do I even Begin? From pick up to deliver was a living hell! After about 40mins of arrival they claimed that my items would take up more space an I owed $1,000 more. I agreed an gave them $1,000 in cash as requested. Which should have been my 1st warning! After about 3hrs he then stated not everything would fit an that I needed to pick what was priority. I was confused as all my items are a priority?! I stated That all things must go! He was extremely rude walked away an said call the main number an tell them. He then proceeded to drive off leaving me with no itemized receipt of my items nor a receipt of the money that gave him. Thankfully I had everything recoded! Additionally my house was left in a hot disgusting mess!! I contacted the office back, explained my issues they really could care less! Customer service is definitely not their priority! They claimed that they would send me two emails immediately with information of which I never received. A few days later another truck was sent an I had to pay additional $1,000 plus and they told me it would be joined with my other items. What they didn’t tell me is my items would be mixed in with other households!! Fast forward to current date…still never received any emails, kept promising me dates of delivery an never called back to confirm or give me any updates! Over a week after promised date they delivered my items to the wrong address! The movers then had to drive 40 minutes the North in the opposite direction to get to my house! Mind you they were told on four different occasions of the proper address, verbally an in written emails, confirming! Lets put the icing on the cake !! multiple items that were delivered were not mine, there were boxes/items of someone else’s household ! Some of which were highly sensitive documents! Just avoid this company at all cost! You will be beyond stressed, out thousands of dollars, items broken , items scuffed, And missing just poof done with the wind missing! Oh ya…an apparently also other peoples items!!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $11050

I scheduled a move with X Van Lines for a pickup on September 3rd, 2024, with direct delivery to my new residence in Georgia on September 5th, 2024. However, from the very beginning, this move has been plagued with unprofessional behavior, delays, and significant damage to my belongings, resulting in an incredibly stressful experience.

1. Unprofessional Sales Behavior

During the scheduling process, I was subjected to unprofessional and inappropriate comments from the sales representatives. They communicated with me via text messages, making unsolicited and personal remarks about my private life, which was completely out of line and added unnecessary discomfort to an already stressful situation.

2. Delays in Pickup and Delivery

Despite being scheduled for pickup on September 3rd, the movers did not arrive until September 4th, causing an unexpected and inconvenient delay. I had arranged and paid for a direct delivery on September 5th, but my belongings did not arrive in Georgia until September 6th. This delay disrupted my plans and caused significant inconvenience as I had prepared to receive my items based on the agreed-upon schedule.

3. Overcharges and Misrepresentation of Space

When the movers finally arrived on September 4th, they packed my belongings and assessed that my items would take up 1,100 cubic feet of space. Based on this estimate, I was charged. However, when the movers arrived in Georgia on September 6th, they informed me that my belongings had only occupied 900 cubic feet—showing a discrepancy of 200 cubic feet. This resulted in me being overcharged for space that was not used.

4. Damage to Property

Upon delivery of my belongings, I discovered significant damage to several of my items:

• Table: Broken during unloading.

• Marble Nightstand: The marble top on my nightstand was broken when the movers dropped it while carrying it into my apartment.

• Dresser: My oak wood dresser was chipped on two sides.

• Bed: The movers failed to properly assemble my bed. They placed cardboard underneath to support it instead of securing the slats. Upon attempting to reassemble the bed myself, I discovered that the slats would not connect, and several parts were missing, making the bed unusable.

Additionally, I experienced a loss of clothing during the move, and a wall mount for my TV was completely missing.

5. Lack of Communication and Poor Customer Service

Throughout this ordeal, I made numerous attempts to contact X Van Lines to speak with a manager about my concerns. Despite repeatedly calling and leaving messages, not a single manager returned my calls or made any effort to address the issues I raised. This complete lack of communication and disregard for customer service has been unacceptable.

6. Unacceptable Moving Experience

This has been the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. I was overcharged, my belongings were damaged, and my concerns have been consistently ignored. The unprofessional behavior, delays, and failure to properly handle my items have left me deeply dissatisfied.

Formal Request for Reimbursement and Compensation

Given the overcharges for cubic feet, the delay in service, the damage to my belongings, and the lack of communication, I am formally requesting a full reimbursement of the overcharge amount and compensation for the damages incurred. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and professionally.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7034

Recently we used X vanlines to move our Mother from Fresno California to Arizona where she was moving into an assisted living facility. We were told that our timing was perfect as they had a customer in Sacramento with their furniture going to Phoenix AZ.

They would pickup in Sacramento then to us in Fresno and then onto Arizona. They told us that they would deliver on the outside the 8th or 9th of July. The pickup was fine with the exception of asking for more money for wrapping our furniture. After they left I never received a copy of any of the documents I had to sign. After 3 weeks of being lied to as to the whereabouts of my Mother's furniture and demanding to know where it was I was told in their storage units in Sacramento . At this point I flew to Sacramento rented a truck and loaded all up and drove the 14 hours to Arizona.

I was lied to, I was hit up for more money, and after all I received no apology . I would never recommend this company NEVER

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1418

Xvanlines is a shameless company that will keep your deposit for services not rendered, even if you are unable move, served for 24 years & 100% disabled naval veteran!

After trying to work with this company through many phone calls and emails, only to receive the runaround for three weeks. Then, finally, my wife was sent a rude and abrasive email stating that she should read the contract you signed (You only have 3 days to try to cancel once you sign and it’s only good for a year btw)!

Sad to have served almost a quarter of my life for a country that has businesses who would choose to take advantage of people. When they could set a new and better standard vs the “Industry standard” that they are content with doing. The bare minimum for their “valued customers”.

I would think that a company would want to work with customers that chose them in the first place and keep them for the long haul instead of screwing them over with abrasive and underhanded tactics.

My advice to anyone looking to move is to inquire about the companies cancelation terms.

I hope everyone has the opportunity to read this before they also become a victim of Xvanlines.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2200

X Van Lines is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They started out very professionally and fairly. Approximately one month after I hired them, things got ugly. They increased my estimate significantly. The employees become arrogant and nasty. I couldn’t shut them down. There was no time to change to a better company and they had my money. The drivers were contractors. They had no identification. They were rude, unprofessional and scary. I didn’t know that they were going to take my belongings to a random location and unpack it. And that they would bring it to me at some point between 2-30 days. Please. Please don’t hire this company. My life was in the back of their truck. I feared that I would never see my belongings again. Family pictures. Collected memories etc. Moving many miles isn’t easy. The stress and panic they put me through was over the top.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5741

This company on their website claims they are not a subcontractor, but in fact they are! Price kept going higher with no answer of when we would get our furniture. We were told it was put into storage so they actually unloaded the truck and when it was time to finally get it to us, a subcontractor was used Who loaded the truck and drove it to us to unload it. The movers themselves were great. And I did speak to a lot of nice representatives, but this company cannot be trusted!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

Good sales team, terrible experience after that.

We were told they could move our hot tub, which is the very reason we went with them. We spoke with Jason five times to make sure we spelled everything out clearly and that there wouldn't be any issues with the hot tub and other belongings --- he assured us each time that everything was in good order.

Well, movers showed up the day of (who were contracted out by x Van Lines), and told us they cannot move the hot tub. Additionally, they went on to charge us additional fees for our other belongings that were part of the original quote all along (4-wheelers, and boxes, and mattress). We were meticulous in adhering to the space allocated for our belongings, yet these contracted out movers said we had more than X Van Lines allotted. It was day of, and we needed to move, so we had to swallow all of this, and the X Van Lines customer service team assured us "we will take care of you on getting this corrected."

Well I've had 2 dozen calls into that team, and they continue to dance around it. Jason, Nicole, Joey --- no one ever made good on it. On top of all of that, the movers they contracted with for arrival (drop off of the belongings) showed up at 9:30 PM at night. The truck was in a disarray, and it was confusing what was ours versus someone else's.

My wife and I could tell this was going to take them many hours, and they weren't treating things carefully, so we actually helped them organize and unload the truck. Many of our boxes were already broken. By this point, we were just anxious to be done with X Van Lines and the entire experience.

I cannot say this more clearly -- I wouldn't use them again in a million years. Super frustrating experience.

From the initial moving quote to the final unloading, the entire process was flawless. The moving crew was on time, friendly, and handled our belongings like their own. They took the time to wrap and protect everything, ensuring nothing was damaged. Their packing services were incredibly efficient, and the move itself was completed without any issues. The team even helped with placing furniture exactly where we wanted. We appreciated their professionalism, and everything was delivered safely. I’d recommend them for anyone looking for reliable and affordable moving assistance.
