Moving is always a stressful experience but choosing X Van Lines ended up being a very solid decision for my recent relocation. I wanted to leave a thorough review because I feel like people only talk about the negative sides of moving companies. Overall their service was really good and the crew they sent over was incredibly hardworking from start to finish.

I do want to be upfront about one thing. On pickup day we realized together that the list I gave over the phone didnt really match what I actually had in the apartment. I’d underestimated my inventory and added alot of extra heavy boxes and loose items that were never on the original list. The foreman sat down with me, went through everything piece by piece, and updated the paperwork so it accurately reflected what was going on the truck. It did make the check‑in at pickup take longer than I expected, but it was done in a very transparent way and I always felt like I knew what was happening.

Once that was sorted, they just got on with it. They worked tirelessly, handled my belongings with respect, and you could tell they took pride in doing the job properly. I would absolutely use them again because honesty and hard work go a long way in this industry, especially when you know you gave them more to deal with than planned.

Well, X Van Lines LLC blew me away with their more than reasonable price, and then backed it up with an incredibly efficient, helpful, and careful moving experience. Gary, Wesley, and Brandon did an amazing job wrapping furniture and loading our boxes for our move. We have a 3+ bedroom house and were worried about fitting all of our stuff onto the 26’ moving truck - you can see by the pictures how much space we had left over! Pure Tetris genius. Plus you can see how secure our stuff is for the trip and how much care they took with our bikes, etc. Very professional, great guys, worked fast and efficiently, knew what they were doing. Would definitely recommend.

I was incredibly anxious about this so I specifically looked for a company that offered clear, binding‑style estimates and flat pricing.

We hired X Van Lines to move my entire family and there were absolutely no hidden surprises when it came time to pay the final bill. When we started the process their estimator took a very detailed inventory of our home, room by room, and asked alot of follow‑up questions. It took a bit longer than I expected to go through every last item, but it made me feel like they actually understood what we owned instead of just guessing.

I highly recommend X Van Lines for any interstate relocation you might be planning because they truly know how to handle delicate items over huge distances. Moving across multiple state lines is incredibly stressful because your belongings spend days bouncing around inside a truck on the highway. My biggest fear was my dining room set because I own massive heavy glass tables that are incredibly fragile and very expensive.

The packing crew that showed up immediately recognized my concern and assured me they had specific protocols for fragile glass. I watched as they wrapped my glass tables in thick moving blankets, secured them with layers of bubble wrap, and then built custom cardboard crates around them right there in my living room. It took some extra time to get all the layers and crates just right, so loading wasnt the fastest part of the day, but seeing how carefully they did it actually made me feel alot calmer about the long drive ahead.

When the truck finally arrived at our new house several states away I held my breath as they unloaded the custom crates. They carefully unwrapped all the layers and I am thrilled to report that everything arrived safely without a single scratch or chip. The dedication to protecting my property during such a massive journey was incredibly impressive.

After that experience, I will recommend their services to all my friends and family, especially anyone with fragile or high‑value furniture they are scared to move.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. From the beginning, I was not clearly informed about additional charges, and after the delivery was completed, I was unexpectedly hit with a significant “shuttle fee” that I do not believe was justified.

What’s most concerning is that my building does have full access for large trucks, and I even provided documentation to support this. Despite that, they still claimed a shuttle was required and refused to reconsider or investigate further in a meaningful way.

It feels like:

Lack of transparency in pricing

No accountability after the fact

When I reached out to resolve the issue, the response was rigid and dismissive, simply pointing back to contract language instead of addressing the actual situation or evidence I provided.

Moving is already stressful—working with a company that adds unexpected costs and then refuses to take responsibility makes it even worse.

I would strongly recommend others to be very cautious, ask detailed questions in writing, and confirm ALL potential extra charges before booking.

Absolutely terrible experience. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of by this company.

Instead of being honest or trying to resolve the issue fairly, they hid behind contract language and refused to take any responsibility. The entire process felt deceptive, unprofessional, and focused on squeezing extra money out of customers.

Communication was poor, customer service was dismissive, and the way this situation was handled showed zero respect for the customer.

I trusted this company during an already stressful move, and I regret it. Be extremely careful before using them. Get EVERYTHING in writing and expect surprise charges at the end.

I would never use this company again and absolutely would not recommend them to anyone.
