US Household Moving & Storage

Contacted US Household moves about 6 weeks back for a move, dealt with John and got an estimate for the move. I was notified I would be able to amend the final list however fast forward a week before my move and US Household only allowed me to add to the list but not subtract. They also required an additional deposit for their drivers to come out. Completely useless and unethical company and I should have done my homework before hiring them. I won't make this mistake again and will never be using their services ever. Hopefully you guys learn from my mistake.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3714

This company will charge you a few thousand dollars to post your move to some national list, where actual moving companies can bid on taking the actual job and doing the actual work. Our experience with US Hosehold Moving has been a basic bait and switch operation. they give you a low ball quote to get you sign up with them, then when an actual moving company arrives at your home, the actual moving company will make you sign all new quotes and documents with much higher rates - at which point US Hosehold will wash their hands of you. At first, our "agents" acted very interested in helping our move happen, but never actually did anything. After a few weeks of that ruse, they've now just ghosted us - refusing to respond to email or return phone calls. I would have been happier to literally burn two thousand dollar bills than have gone into business with these people. be warned.

I’m not even going to deal with these scammers myself. I’m contacting a lawyer tomorrow to handle it! Moving across country is stressful enough without fast talking, scamming , company who doesn’t ever tell you they are just brokers that are selling your move to whoever will buy it. They quote so low, I wasn’t an idiot when the actual cost was over twice the quote I was not surprised. I told him my belongings were in a 10x13 storage and he quoted me a price for 57 boxes, no furniture. Really ? You think a 10x13 storage unit of belongings is going to be the same as 57 boxes ? The movers damaged something in almost every single box I packed . Despite the hundreds of dollars and hours I spent using bubble wrap and paper to carefully pack my things and write fragile on every surface of the fragile boxes. I. Bought about 25 plastic bins as well and half of them are cracked, and torn because they were filled with clothes and they put heavy boxes and items on top of them. They should be ashamed! I’m going to post everything I can everywhere I can to let people know to ask . Are you a broker fir the move ? Or are you the mover !!

They found the best movers for us to use, and it saved us a lot of money. Best of all, these guys are professionals at their craft and have excellent customer service. I enjoy working with a company that will always pick up the phone at and the text you back if need to be. I recommend working with Mark who has been very compliant with all of my requests.

It's important to manage your expectations, and if you have an unrealistic ones, then of course you will be disappointed. Do you want it to save money and have a quick turnaround time with our move, and that's exactly what we got. Best of all our things arrived safely and without any issues.

I know that we had a lot of special requests, which made or move a little annoying. However, these guys stepped up to the challenge and fulfilled all of my expectations. They are professionals every step of the way and understand how to execute a successful move. If you are looking for a reputable home mover then I wouldn't look no further than us household moving. From the price to the professionalism nothing was subpar and they tied all knots with good customer service:-).

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Do not trust Chris P, John, Tyler or anyone there. They took our deposit LIED to us about being a broker until they had to tell us because they sent our contract to the carrier instead of us. The carrier they sent our contract to has an F RATING BY THE BBB! They spoke about 20+ years in moving and 5-star reviews, but when I asked about the ratings and the fact that they have only had their property broker license since July 2019 they got mean and condescending. Don't trust this company with your money or your belongings!!
