NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! They should not even be in business. We continue to go through the tedious process of trying to get information regarding the loss OF ALL OF OUR STUFF at the hands of these crooks. They don’t keep us updated about the fire where our stuff was apparently burned, gave no explanation why our stuff was in storage when it was supposed to be delivered to Alabama the next week and are so flippant about our loss that we can’t even get a refund for the money paid on pick up. The claims process is a joke. Please, use any other company, I beg you. They are not reputable and while moving sucks in general, they have made this a nightmare no body should endure. I am happy to detail exactly how they treated us, just respond to this review and I will reach out. They are terrible.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8000

Given the amount of things I had, I really needed a moving company’s help. I did a lot of research online and finally settled on hiring United Transportation . Their reputation precedes them and they really proved why that is. They really employ the most capable movers. The four men I got were all very well trained and had enough experience to conduct this move. Their packing skills were good and they had no trouble loading everything to the van. They arrived on time and made the delivery on time as well. I have very high regards for this amazing company.

I hired United Transportation because they were recommended by a colleague who had a very good experience with them, and we were not disappointed-this move went easier than I could have hoped. From the initial call (spoke with Anna) to the moment the movers left our new home, we felt we were greatly taken care of by people who are committed to their work.

Francisco and his team showed up  on time and very professional explained how the process would go, and he and his team began working.  They were all friendly and could be counted on to patiently answer questions or address concerns during the packing/moving process. One detail I particularly appreciated was that they were patient when we did a walk-through of the house after they had packed everything and we discovered there were items I had missed; they had a great attitude and packed the last remaining items, then they were off. The delivery went smooth Nick and his crew re-assembled my furniture; they were even patient enough to re-arrange furniture after they'd set it down since I hadn't thought ahead of time how I wanted the couches arranged. I hope we do not need to move again but if we do, I won't hesitate to use United Transportation again. Thank you!

I believe it is purely luck on what type of service you get from these companies. The least they can do is stand by their business which United Transportation clearly does not.
I had a great conversation with Tammy, their salesperson, whom I gave a thorough list of another company’s walkthrough of my apartment. She gave me an estimate and assured me that the price would not go up. I sold a lot of the stuff in the list including two bicycles, one queen bed, a wardrobe, closet thinking that the price should go down given the size of these.
The day of the move, they were supposed to arrive between 8-10 am. Since I was the first I thought there was not much room for mistakes. They arrived around 3pm. First red flag.
The movers were nice and efficient, but once they did “their” walkthrough my price had stayed the same with a new “fee” even though I sold all that stuff. I was not in the mood so no problem, I’ll pay.
The guy told me to put the next day in the delivery time that way they would ship it ASAP and he said it should take between 7-14 business days.
After 7 business days I called to check where in the US my stuff could be. IT HAD NOT LEFT THE WAREHOUSE. I had to call for 3 days so they could figure out what happened. Another 7 business days go by and I call again and had to talk to Ben, their “Manager” who has no idea what is going on and could care less of what their customers think. He said he apologized for the confusion and would see what he could do.
Don’t expect them to call with updates because they won’t. Also don’t expect an answer every time you call because they will not answer every day.
It has been a month now since they picked up my stuff and I have no idea where in the US my things could be. Last I heard they would arrive today, but after finally getting them on the phone they pushed the delivery by another week.
Who knows when my stuff will get here but I would stay away from this company.
I know moving is a pain but at least go with a company that accepts their mistakes and somehow makes up for them.

Last month I was looking for a moving company to move from Atlanta ga to Los Angeles California, after putting my info on moving.com website I got several quotes from different companies, I decided to go with United moving and storage because they gave me the cheapest quote and assured me my price will not increase during the moving process, on the day of my move the crew showed up on time and packed up my apartment very fast and very professional.
Price did not increase, and the quote I received over the phone was the same as the final price, they even offered me 1 month free storage though I didn’t need storage so I didn’t use it, my stuff got to Los Angeles 10 days later with no damages and the delivery was very pleasant, I totally recommend anyone that needs a moving company, to use United transportation moving & storage. They are honest and very transparent about everything during the move process.

United Transportation Moving and Storage is a terrible company that does not have any standards, does not care about your property or delivering it on schedule and they don't care how this affects you and your families life. I will outline what happened to me and my family below but hopefully you will learn from my mistake and just pass on them right now. Everyone should be passing on this company right now.

United Transportation Moving and Storage picked up my load from Los Angeles the morning of 6/20. That experience in of itself was terrible however, upon completion, the lead manager told me the load would take anywhere from 7-10 business days to deliver to Connecticut. Their contract says up to 21 days. After not hearing anything from United Transportation and with almost 3 weeks having gone by, I called their office on 7/8 to see where my belongings were. Keep in mind my family and kids were living off folding table furniture as we had none of our belongings. After two calls and 3 hours of research they said my furniture was still in los angeles and was scheduled to leave in 2-3 days. Then it would be 10 business days from then before I received it.

Then, to add insult to injury, the supervisor was on vacation, the manager was also the supervisor, and there was no one I could escalate to for two weeks. They didn't care that they were breaking their own contract, they didn't care that it was a hardship for me and my children they just matter of fact stated that and then practically hung up on me.

I don't know how companies like this remain in operation but they are the worst and I will never work with them again. I will be taking further action, legal if necessary, should my things not arrive with the new updated schedule.

I recently moved from CA to AZ and I hired United Transportation.
I was more than happier with my movers.
The pickup process went smoothly. Everything was loaded and packed nicely. I was not ready to move in. Tami provided me with free storage. Once I was ready to move in I reached out to Tami and she helped me to
schedule my delivery dates.
On the day of delivery, everything went smoothly as well with no issues. After delivered, everything arrived in perfect condition.
I will gladly and strongly recommend United Transportation to anyone who is moving.

I moved with United Transportation few weeks ago. This company did an amazing job on moving my items. The day of the move they showed up on time and helped me finish packing my boxes. Then they wrapped all my furniture in less then two hours they loaded everything in the truck. They also strapped down my motorcycle. Moving my motorcycle was my main concern I wanted to make sure that I went to a professional company that will prioritize my motorcycle and none of the less they had not disappointed me.

Still have not recieved a dime from this company, total loss of 3 bedroom home and wood working business 75k loss. At there warehouse fire on July 12 2018 at Londious St.Check Los Angelos News for video.

Filed claim within 9 months. Anthem Claims says they have not paid any of the claims and refuse to.

They keep claiming under new management and still training employees for the last year. They will get to it.
