The bait and switch. I signed an agreement for one price, James B. assured me of their excellent care. Another moving company came to pick up my stuff, with an estimate that was $1000 more than the original. Unfortunately, I neglected to print out thie estimate and now it is unavailable to me. I called and spoke to one person, Roxy in dispatch, who agreed to send me the estimate again, but it was still unavailable. I tried 4 different phone numbers to American United and no one answered. I'm stuck paying the new expensive price. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

ANY positive review has most likely been done by an employee, a friend, or a relative of these criminals! Want proof? Go to YELP where they have several removed from names matching those in the company! They misrepresent themselves, get a deposit, and double the cost once it's too late... expecting YOU the customer to be able to give an accurate description of everything being moved, estimate on boxes, etc. knowing full well that you are naive with how their scam works! They have been reported to the Florida Attorney General for deceptive business practices, as well as the BBB! You will LOSE if you give them anything resembling money!

We had a fantastic experience with United American Moving and Storage! Setting up the initial consultation was easy, and getting everything arranged was a breeze. The coordinator, Kyle ,Roxy, and the rest of the crew, were incredibly professional, fast, and made us feel at ease while they were in our home. They handled everything with great care, packing and moving everything safely and securely. I'm extremely happy with their service and can't wait for them to deliver our belongings to our new home. I would definitely use them again without hesitation!

I do not normally write reviews, however it seemed necessary in this instance. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. For starters, this is NOT a moving company, they are a BROKER for third party moving companies (which was never disclosed while speaking with the agent). We were told they are a veteran owned and operated moving company. They even went as far as to tell us "we have a port in your city as well as the city you are moving to". Everything seemed like it was adding up, they beat any rate we were quoted by hundreds of dollars, assured us they would be handling everything, they do that route all the time and would probably even do it in fewer days than initially quoted, etc etc. Red flag number one: they RUSH you to sign the contract, within 20 minutes of being on the phone to get a quote I was being told if I didn't sign and pay right then and there I would lose out on the rate. Mind you, they are texting me info, knowing I'm on my cell and trying to do all this at once. So in a panic thinking I am going to miss out on a great deal I sign and send payment. Only after I send that I get the contact which has our moving date the FOLLOWING day (remember that, it's important later) that was red flag number two. Red flag number three: the inventory I gave them they vastly under quoted the size of (I told them I had about 20, 27 gallon tubs they took it upon themselves to put the dimensions as 16x16x16, when they are closer to 15x20x30 and i never gave them dimensions) so I would be charged more once everything was packed. Red Flag number four: when reading the contract more thoroughly I finally saw they are a "broker" not the moving company that supposedly does the route "all the time". After all these red flags started popping up I immediately contacted them to cancel (within hours). They got back to me the following Monday, initially starting by telling me I could not cancel or get any kind of refund because it was within 2 weeks of my moving date.. I told them from the start I was moving at least 7 weeks later and they fumbled and said that I was moving the next day. Now after speaking with at least 4 different people they are willing to give me a refund of 85% and keep their 15% broker fee.. even though their contract states I have 72 hours to cancel. This company is an absolute nightmare, they smooth talk and bend the truth to make it seem like they are helping you when in reality they are a bunch of con artists taking advantage of people in a stressful time. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

I recently used United American Moving and Storage for an apartment transfer within the same building. Daniel and the crew were fantastic—they both called me with regular updates while on their way, so I always knew where they were. They arrived on time, ready to work with a great attitude. What's more, they added on an additional stop absolutely free of charge. They managed to move my big items—bed, dresser, sofa, table, and desk—within just two hours, allowing me to stay within my budget. Despite the challenging layout of the building and navigating through the garage to reach my other unit, they handled everything like pros. They were very understanding of the current tough times and still delivered a quality job in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend United American Moving and Storage for all your moving needs, especially if Daniel and this team are on the crew! Kudos to them for doing such a wonderful job!

From the moment I booked United American Moving and Storage for our move, they were incredibly communicative and responsive to all of my calls and texts. On the day of the move, the team arrived promptly and wasted no time getting started. Upon reaching our new house, their first priority was ensuring that everything was placed in its correct spot. They were thorough and careful with all of our belongings. I would definitely recommend them and will be using their services again in the future.

You will lose lots of money, time, and energy. They can't fulfill their job. Very a lack of communication. After paying, they will send you to different people, then those people can't even do their job well. Getting a hold of them is hard as a rock. It's been more than a month and all I can say is that NEVER EVER GET THIS COMPANY OR USE THEIR BUSINESS FOR MOVING. Stop promising stuff to your clients. This is very unprofessional and a waste of time. I should know better when we hire you. Don't send your clients to another moving company, you should do your job and fulfill them. Your business is ridiculous.

They were efficient without much chatter and distraction. They called ahead to see if any packing material was required and arrived punctually. Two of them quickly assessed the place and materials, laid protective covers where needed, and added a few more at our request. They padded all materials in plastic and blue padding, then loaded up and moved to the destination. They unpacked and set up a few pieces as required, taking care of disassembling and assembling the bed, etc. They forgot about the lamps, but that was fine. They even helped us set up the delivered bed. While a little pricey, they were absolutely practical and reliable - exactly what you need for these moves. They also offer insurance and are willing to carry unwanted stuff. We would gladly recommend them to anybody else.

I am writing this with tears in my eyes due to frustration. I initially spoke with James we discussed everything..elevator at storage and elevator at my new address was told no elevator fees…the mover arrives in a U-Haul type truck puts my stuff in there and tells my sister it’s being transferred to a warehouse? WTH! Was never told that by James…the guy also charges me an elevator fee and long haul fee an extra 175.00! I immediately call n text Roxy and James and they both claim they couldn’t get into my file..they then say if it’s 100 feet to elevator my sister made a video to show they pulled the truck pretty much right up to the elevator…now my furniture will be sitting somewhere till they have a full load to come to Philadelphia from Las Vegas…was never advised that was the process I wish I would of went with another broker..I’ve never experienced this before with a cross country move.. praying I get my furniture?? just horrible experience

United American Moving and Storage sent me an email acknowledging Frankie at Mns Transport moving and Storage has my property they forgot to load when switching trucks, its been 5 months and last email stated they would send it whenever they have a truck heading to idaho, or ship it but that cost to much, its heavy,, and they would only send my property after I remove the reviews. DO NOT USE UNITED AMERICAN MOVING AND STORAGE OR MNS TRANSPORT MOVING AND STORAGE. I have had a dozen people contact me from my reviews with thier horror stories, from theft to deliveries months past the due date, Broken items, and these companies are known to block your number, I told one person to *67 first and finally he got through to Frankie who still won't give him a delivery date. Had to move my parents' things and wanted to make sure I found a good moving company. I decided to go with United American Moving and Storage, even though they were a bit more expensive than my budget. It turned out to be a great choice. They did exactly what they promised and took great care of my parents' belongings. I felt confident and relieved knowing they were in good hands. I highly recommend United American Moving and Storage if you need a reliable moving company.

BEWARE. Please, do not give this company your business.

They advertise, "Binding To Not Exceed price, protecting you from ANY surprises down the road" but this isn't what they practice.

You'll get a low cost move until you pay the deposit, just to earn your business. (Paid July 22, 2024) Immediately after, you'll see those numbers begin to increase as they squeeze you for more money. You're trapped. Pay the increase or they'll cancel your move last minute. (Threaten to cancel on 26 July 2024 with a move date of 28 July 2024)

They'll subcontract out the move to someone who subcontracts out their move until it's beyond messy. There's no continuity within the organization. Then your movers no called and no showed, (July 28th, 2024). On July 29th, 2024 someone came to move our items.

Your household goods are used as a pawn to "pay or else" as prices are marked up. Pay the deposit and watch the total change by thousands. On the day of the move, over $700 is added for "fuel", when the move location(s) did not change. Movers will unnecessarily require you to crate items to mark up the cost even more. Cubic feet is more than doubled on paper to drive up the cost of the move. (July 28th, 2024)

They state your items will arrive within 3-5 days. Later you hear 7-10 days before delivery. Again, no communication and no estimated delivery dates are available. It is likely items were placed in complimentary storage and we'll get a call when it's "our turn" to be delivered.

Without warning or communication, your items will be removed from [30-day complimentary] storage after 11 days from the date of pick up and you'll be told to be home for delivery within hours or pay for "re-delivery" and storage. (Confirmed delivery via text at 8:39pm on Aug 9th, 2024, for August 10th, 2024).

You'll meet all financial obligations and still not have your items delivered. Your grandmother's sewing machine, items from Afghanistan, and other sentimental items will be held hostage, forcing you to seek legal action. You're out thousands of dollars, ($4,000 originally quoted, but $6222+ in mark-ups from sub-contracted sub-contractors), and they won't follow their own contract. They did not deliver on August 10th, 2024. We had to contact law enforcement to report the moving company. We have been threatened to be charged additional fees with law enforcement present.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

Oh my God, oh my God when you’re making a long distance move it is so stressful. I cannot stand talking to all these companies. My phone is ringing off the hook. I don’t know what it was, but something in my gut told me to speak with United American moving and storage. I liked everything I heard they were the only company to show me a contract with all of my guarantees in black-and-white. Everybody else barely spoke. English was trying to give me some lowball price without even speaking to me for five minutes. These guys did not pressure me. They basically told me what I would be expecting if I wanted to go with them great if not, I didn’t have to. Everything was flawless guys they were dressed appropriate. They even put booties on their feet so they didn’t tear up my brand new carpet

They clearly explained all fees and how the process would work, giving great advice on the most efficient options and answering all my questions. Dont trust fake reviews. They will give you one estimate and have you sign for it. Then they'll double it and tell you if you don't agree, they'll charge you anyway. There is no cancelation option. They just hustle people and scam them into charging what they want either during your move or a few days out. They try to trap you with a contract that claims your estimate won't exceed the agreed cost and then change it. My estimate went from 2200 to 3645 overnight. They tried to coerce me into giving them 500 immediately on top of the 850 I already paid two days before my move or they would not move me and they would still keep the 850. They said if I cancelled, they would also keep the 850 even though this was 2 days after I had reserved. Absolute criminals. They prey on military families in particular and have absolutely no empathy. This is a predatory company and should not be trusted.

I recently hired United American Moving and Storage, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. As they were helping my elderly father move, a few of his chickens escaped from the coop. Without hesitation, the movers went above and beyond by helping to round up the chickens and safely get them back into the coop.

But their outstanding service didn't stop there. They also carried my father, in his chair, out to the moving truck, ensuring his comfort and safety throughout the process. They took extra care by wrapping his chair and placing it in a specific spot in the truck so my father knew his favorite chair was safe. The movers were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. I highly recommend United American Moving and Storage for their exceptional care and dedication.

I just wanted to save many people's time, energy, and the irritation. This company is a broker, and they are not loyal—the sales representative is a joke. His name is Daniel, and he will manipulate thivgs once he Geez tsvthe money! They will try to wheel and deal with you to make you feel like you are getting a great deal. They give you a reasonable deal spying lewd money than other companies. Still, in all actuality, it will change in cost as they get your deposit and specify that, that’s just your first payment towards your two other ones you will pay and trust me the cost goes up.Once you get a quote, then you will get someone to ask you to measure your items. That is the first downfall. Someone must/shouldprofessionally do those things for you because anything is possible. Anything can change. Save yourself some time and go with another company. Also, after this happened to me, I did that, and they wanted to charge me an extra $600, and they wanted the payment that day and wanted additional money for my deposit that I had already paid so neeefef more because they said I had more items. I said before that this is a broker, another company additionally comes out and picks up your stuff - hence, it will be very hard for you to get in contact with who you actually paid already. I didn’t make it this far fortunately because I was very investigative, and I made sure that I spoke with several people in regards to my payment changing, and they try to tell me it’s because I have more belongings that I did not specify to the sales representative. The sales representative specifically added more in addition to me having a few more boxes added. that would be anything additional and all I added was a few extra boxes literally. Furthermore, they would not give me back my money after I told them that I was not interested any longer, as I wanted to go with another company. They are the oneswho waited weeks before they contacted me in regards to these new updates,and charges so it was unfortunately past the time for them to refund me as they specified, which is crazy to me because some people may not like a price, so they should be able to cancel, they did not give me a fair window and they know it. They just wanted my money. I had to call my bank and escalate this. Fortunately, I did get my money back. because my bank agreed that this was not correct and they were being disloyal . thankful for my bank! but I’m telling you guys save yourself time and go with someone else. No one is to take your money until they have your belongings in the truck and someone should always come out to your house to measure your items. Always remember things can change in sizes and measurements so always remember that there is a possibility that you’ll pay more but there should be a window and they should communicate with you accordingly instead of trying to hold your money and keep it because you were no longer in their window as they specified and it’s too late to get refunded. We contacted United American Moving and Storage after our scheduled movers failed to show up today. After discussing a few details, they assured us they could assist us later in the day. While they were running a bit behind schedule, they kept us informed every step of the way!

Their team was very professional, swiftly loading a 26FT truck while ensuring the safety of our belongings.

I highly recommend using their services. Don't make the same mistake I did by going through a rental agency. Their prices were just as fair, if not better!
