Absolutely do not do business with this company, all the negative reviews here are true. When they want to lock you down to get your business they are so nice, respectful and give you the “best prices”. Once they get your money, everything changes. Due to COVID19 we called to get a refund since I got my job offer in California cancelled causing us to be unable to move. So I called customer service and they are care less about our situation. They are rude specially Veronica, whoever she is, she shouldn’t have that kind of job, if that’s the way she treats clients. Asked to talk to higher up supervisor and she acted like she’s the owner. We are trying to keep our jobs, and companies are backing their clients up as much as they can. Of course this is not the case with this moving company. We called several companies that we work with and were all helpful and understanding. Apparently US standard moving company have been doing business wrong even before the crisis. You are still running because of your customers and you fail to see that. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. For the ones who are planning on hiring this moving company that is more like a broker. Go to the Better Business Bureau and see it for yourself. You won’t get away with this. You refuse to refund our money due to COVID as if it’s the customers fault, on top of that you tell your customers that you will give them the “best rate” and then you change it and you don’t care about it. At the end it is always the customers fault. You have absolute no support for your customers and when the rest of the companies are doing their best to keep moving forward you are disrespecting and treating your customers as if your services are free. Shame on you. I hope people are able to see that companies like these shouldn’t exist.

Some of the worst service I've ever received. They lied just to get the sale and then give you false information on packing and quotes. They do this so once the movers show up and you have to pay a large amount more you can't back out. They do not help in anything once they get your sale and can give you bo reliable information at all on delivery. If you try and get information from themthey will say they don't know about anything and won't give you information on your own items. Would never recommend this.

Basically legal thieves!! This should be their adds "Please give us your business. We will lure you with false claims of professionalism even though we are legal thugs that will charge you a fee to have other thugs to come to your house and claim to properly store it until they are good and ready to send other thugs to basically steal half of your shit and then tell the customer.."oh you never called us so sorry we are not responsible!!" Every one of these companies are ghetto ass thugs that have cleverly found a way to steal your shit!! Save yourself tons of money by NEVER NEVER hiring any one of these legal thieves. You're better off loading your shit in a U-Haul and never taking your eyes off your valuable things!! By the end of this move it looked like King Kong lifted everything broke it in half including bent bicycles, bent bbq grills, boxes in shambles, pictures all other the floor, broken glass all over, valuable pictures broken in half, decorative faux trees looked like they went thru a hurricane, and that's the things that made it!! Half of the other shit was just out right stolen and never made it to the hurricane site!! NEVER NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

Never in my life have I felt so stupid, helpless and lied to as when I booked with US Standard Moving and Storage. When I booked with them, I was given a decent price that was lower than the rest but still believable, I was told if I signed that day I would be given a 200 dollar discount. The man I talked to Mark Kaye said they were a local company and promised no upcharges. I even did a video call with them to ensure they had everything down. Well, guess what?? They didn't! The initial price they gave me was without my boxes and by adding that it went up 1000 dollars!! I call customer service and they can't help me. I call them again, they say they fired the guy but who knows? I don't care that he's fired I care that he made me trust them! The movers get there I find out the company is a broker! Its during a pandemic and even when I provide them with masks they refuse to wear it!! I'm self quarantining now! When I get there they refuse to deliver my couch up the stairs and box spring so now my 900 dollar couch is sitting on the side of my building like trash because that's how they treat you, like trash! They damaged my building, they broke my expensive furniture and CONTINUED to upcharge me. ONLY hire them if you're one of those weirdos who have a fetish for someone taking your money.

This has been a disaster in our life. We wanted a moving company to help us moving our furniture and all the other belongings in a three bedroom home from our home in Cody, WY to a new home at Leominster, MA. My wife found this company on internet and requested for a quote online. We were immediately contact by phone by a Guy called Marc. After some conversation on the phone describing what we wanted to move, they sent us an estimate of $3,700 for the move and we happily agreed and paid a deposit for $1,081. Now the journey bro death started. A few days before the scheduled pickup (May 28), a second person called us to confirm the moving but he proposed a huge increase in the cost, from the original $3,700 to something like $6,000. I felt like being trapped into then business as I told him if this is the new price we would not be able to afford it and have to have some other company to do the back. I was told it's too bad that of you do that you will lose the deposit you paid. Feel like being threatened as well as not willing to lose $1,081 for nothing, we agreed to pay a total of $5,000 to keep the job to be done and as such we paid another $500 of deposit. Finally, after 3 days of daley, a truck (which is a Budget rental vehicle) showed up along with a helper. They loaded up the truck of our three bedroom belongings and drove away to a destination which remains as of today as a myth.

At mid-June we thought it's about the time to contact the driver to ask about a delivery date. The driver never picked up our calls or responded out text messages. We then contact Marc, the guy who tool our deposit directed us to their customer service. We did as advised but we were told they try to contact the carrier. Eventually and after numerous calls to Marc as well as to the customer service, they told me they deliver on Thursday, July 2. This did not happen even though we kept calling to make sure they would delivery on that day. The subsequent week, we were told the new delivery date would be Thursday, July 7. This never happened again even after calls and calla to all possible numbers we could use. We started to get worried and nervous and felt like being in repair, living without furniture and other basic living support. Making phone calls became the last thing we wanted to do but still have to try, try and keep try. To our naive surprise, both the customer service and a new stranger (claiming as a third party, but using the cell phone number of the first driver) called and told us they will make a delivery on Friday, July 17. I am writing this review right now on July 18 and ..

At the time we get completely lost and don't know what to do next except for writing this review to remind the innocent people to be carefully when choosing a moving company. We wish the mental and physical stress we endured will help others stay away THIS particularly company, to spell it correctly,

US Standard Moving & Storage Corp. We may face some backlash or revenge (is this even possible) by the owners of the company after posting this review. But it would worth it to help others to stay away from getting into endless headach at the cost of our loss.

This was really the worst moving experience I've ever had - and I'm still in the midst of it because I have yet to get my things, which are sitting in a warehouse in California while I wait in Kansas City. Joshua simply wanted the sale and said anything to get it. To be clear, these are brokers and I didn't know who the movers were until 4 days before my scheduled move, at which point it was too late (the movers themselves will get their own special review once my stuff arrives). On moving day, when I hadn't heard from the movers, I called Joshua - who had PROMISED me when he was making the sale that he'd be reachable. He answered the phone, sounded shocked that I'd reached him, promised to look into where my movers were, and then he never called back. Basically, they wanted their cut of the move and then they disappeared. And the movers they contracted out are terrible. It's been 2 1/2 weeks since my stuff was picked up and I still don't have a date when my possessions will arrive. It's been heartbreaking and stressful and my next move is a call to RICO (I have a distant uncle who works there) and to the BBB. Stay far, far away from them and Brooklyn Movers LLC.

Cancelled my move the night before scheduled pick up!!

I am relocating from Clearwater Florida to Helena Montana for a career move. I contracted with US Standard and gave a deposit of $600. The night before the move they cancelled, this left me in a difficult position, since I have to be in Helena on the original scheduled day and it's a long drive.

As if that wasn't bad enough I have called to have my deposit refunded immediately to my debit card. Twice I've called and they still haven't completed the transaction. My only options were rent a UHaul and tow my car, or sell my furniture at a deep discount and ship what won't fit in my car. I have had my brand new furniture for only 6 months!

Sold the furniture, shipped the boxes and driving out of here first thing tomorrow as planned. This company has not treated this customer fairly nor ethically, if you choose them be prepared for the "CANCELLING CONTINGENCY".

They will misquote& undercommunicate.All of their employees will lie and give false information. You'll wait about 2 months for your things. They won't take responsibility for this.

Literal scam artists. go anywhere else. Dont trust these generic positive reviews. Their probably bots.

I've never regretted anything more in my life. I promise you. Save yourself. Go anywhere else. Dont even risk it. They will double your quote at the last minute.

I never encountered a group of thugs like the ones that deceived, frauded and put our life into a disaster by U.S.Standard.They present themselves as a moving company. They qould g ive you a quote and allure you pay a deposit. Once you pay the first deposit, they will call back and tell you the price has to be readjusted. They will threaten not to refund you the deposit you already paid if you don't agree with the new price. Therefore another deposit. Then they will dispatch some one to your door, collect half of the remaining balance (only in cash) and load up your furniture and all your belongings you wanted to be moved. Your tragedy started now. After a long period of waiting for delivery, you got worried and would call their customer service. They would tell you it's no longer there job since they are just a BROKER to make the moving arrangements.

In my case, I paid U.S. Standard Moving a total of $1,561 deposits. A truck driver came to our home in Cody WY to pickup our three bedroom furniture and all the boxes of out belongings on May 31. Ever since then, we are still waiting for our stuff to come. It's been nearly three months now and we don't even know where our stuff are being stored. Attempt to call U.S. Standard to beg them for help came to no avail. We lived for three months now without furniture in our new home. I filed a complaints to BBB and other places, but nothing seemed to be helpful.

I just wanted to ask these people at U.S. Standard Moving who lied and cheated on me, can you sleep well at night? Are they other other ways for you to make money than doing this kind of heartless and shameful things to other people? What goes around comes around. Some day your company will be shutdown. Otherwise your continuous conduct will culminate in an unforgivable punishment by God.
