Trans Van Lines

I do not have enough characters to detail everything that occurred with this company but I strongly urge anyone looking for a mover to not use them. They underestimated our move total by 50%. After the trucks were loaded with our items they presented us with an amount double what they had provided us. They did not have a big enough truck to load our items or enough movers. We overheard the lead mover talking to their home office about posting on Craig’s list for more help! The customer service they provide is a joke when trying to call them. They never return your phone calls. They also then increased our storage price. Most of our furniture was damaged. I can go on and on about our nightmare with these movers but stay away from them!!

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $12000

On July 18 2018 I received my shipment of boxes from Florida to Colorado.
I can’t even begin to list all the items that are severely damaged or broken or lost / stolen

Let’s start with the damaged ones (and I didn’t open all the boxes yet so I’m only listing the things that I saw but seen the conditions of the boxes I’m expecting more )

- glass cabinets - broken glass
- mirror cabinets - broken and chipped in several points
- master bed electric piece - not working properly + both the outlets are broken (it was all bent and put away without ANY kind of wrapping or caution)
- antique chair - broken (leg ripped)
- electric couch - connecting part broken (ripped apart)
- dining table - all the corners are damaged
- dresser - broken
- king bedroom dresser - broken (leg ripped apart)
- chess table - severely scratched
- mugs collection - destroyed

The conditions of the boxes in witch my belongings Arrived are EMBARASSING
The boxes Are damaged, broken.
It looks like they were taken and threw against a wall. Most of the plastic sturdy boxes are broken/ damaged.

- 65 inches Samsung CURVED tv - 4K
- king mattress
- peter lik photograph framed - this is a precious limited edition piece of art . The current price for it in a gallery is 35,000 $

The STOLEN items from the previous shipment are nowhere to be found (of course)

My rowing machine is broken, scratched and severely damaged

My Nordictrack treadmill is broken , there are several scratches , the right arm is damaged , the arms cushion are ripped , the electric cord is shredded. The conditions in which my stuff was loaded into the moving truck were AWFUL . The negligence of your company and your workers is by far the worst I have ever seen.

My patio furniture (chairs, table and lounge chairs ) was all damaged. Scratches all over it.
they lost several parts and pieces of my furniture and now I am unable to put it back together .

They were rude, disrespectful and overall EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL . Let alone the fact that they give3 you an estimate and then, after loading everything on the first truck (literally throwing your belongings ) they tell you that they want more money.

Nobody from the company called us, gave us information on how to file a complaint.
The only communication we had with trans van lines was a text message from a former employ that texted us : " I resigned from working for Trans Van Lines over two weeks ago, because I was very disturbed by what happened with your move and the poor service involved following your first delivery. That made me sick to my stomach and I lost all my motivation to work for them after having g a position there since last year. I am very sorry that their service for your move was so poor, and I resigned over it, as I can no longer be part of that organization ".

I got a new job in another state so I had to pack up all my things and move across the country right away. My sister used Trans Van Lines when I helped her move into her new house so I decided to use them as well. Everything went really smoothly. I got to my new place on time and there were no issues when it came to getting all my stuff to the destination. The people who helped me were really friendly as well. I thought the move was going to be stressful but it wasn’t that way at all.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2000

There are a lot of mixed reviews for Trans Vans Lines and I was not sure that they would do a great job in assisting me. I have used many different companies in the past and I have not deemed them to be reliable. However, this company did a phenomenal job when moving my things. They arrived promptly on time and handled all of my belongings with care. The movers had no problems delivering my things from Delaware to Virginia. When I opened my boxes there was nothing missing and nothing broken. This was a surprise since the moving companies I used in the past broke a few things. I was pleasantly surprised by this experience and will use Trans Van Lines again in the future.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1500

We recently used Trans Van Lines for a move from Melbourne, FL to Canton, GA. We have moved several times, but never had a move of this magnitude. We have used other moving companies in the past and have been less than satisfied. We are happy to say that we have finally had a great experience with a moving company. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. Scheduling was a breeze. The move was seamless. The movers were very hard working and arrived on time. We were pleasantly surprised at how smooth the transition to our new home went. The movers were very gentle with our belongings. Upon arrival at the new home, we had nothing missing or broken. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family and will be using them for all future moves!

Lied about the amount quoted, the price doubled the day of the move. They taped on top of my tape, and charged me for the 30 rolls they used. Left the cardboard empty rolls on the floor throughout my house. It has been three weeks, they asked for more money, I have yet to receive my things. I’ve called 5 times today 8/10/2016 and they don’t know what to tell me, and then hang up on me. The worst company I have EVER dealt with! My kids and I are left with our personal belongings being held hostage by this less than reputable company.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5300

My husband and I move frequently for his job, and our normal moving company wasn't able to move us from Michigan to Texas this time, so we had to choose another one. I can promise that we'll be using Trans Van from now on, as we were really happy with how they handled our belongings and the movers were courteous in our home. They never lost patience with our 2 kids asking a million questions and occasionally being in the way. The whole move was super easy, and we were able to call to get updated on where our belongings were. I might not be looking forward to unpacking all these boxes, but I know who to call next year when we have to do it again.

Hi there! So, the story is that I moved from Miami, FL to Laguna Beach, CA. I am seriously so happy with the level and quality of customer service and support I received from this company. I always search for the best deals and bang for my buck, but how I’m treated matters the most and am super glad I decided to go with them because not only did they literally beat their competitors by hundreds of dollars, but they also were super courteous folks. Will definitely recommend them in the future as well as use their services every single time I move now. Thanks you guys!

My daughter needed to move her furniture and art from California to Seattle for school. Moving to another state is overwhelming so I helped her with the process. Of all the moving companies I contacted, this company was the easiest to schedule. I went over the list of items we planned to move with them and agreed to pay extra for special handling, all of which was discussed beforehand. Glass items, paintings, and miscellaneous supplies which my daughter had pre-packaged were handled carefully as requested. Communication was great with the moving team was very professional. As reported happily by my daughter, there was no damage or breakage anywhere. Thank you for making my daughter's moving experience a breeze and one less thing to worry about!

I wish I could give Trans Van Lines more than 5 stars for helping us move! They were exceptional and super professional at helping us move.
We used to live in Iowa but after college I decided to move to New York City. After five years of living here my husband and I bought a house and we needed help moving. We were extra cautious on deciding which moving company to choose. After a long debate we decided to use Trans Van Lines and we couldn't be any happier.
They were not only professional, but fast movers as well. When they got to our apartment I let them know what items needed moved and they started working right away after we finished chatting. We then got to the house and I directed them as to where items went. They were extra cautious about our dishes and other fragile items. We had a lot of stuff to move but they got it done within a timely manner.
