They are a great service! I was moving from Texas to New York for a new job. I had heard great things about this company from a friend. She couldn't stop telling me about them every chance she got.
Finally, I caved under her pressure and decided to use their services. The person I spoke to over the phone was very nice and friendly.
That calmed my nerves.
On the day of the move, the employees arrived on time and ready to work.
I didn't really have to worry or do much. They worked very fast and handled all my things with the utmost care. They were very professional.
They made my move less stressful. I was very happy and comforted by the knowledge that were capable of doing this job. I'm very happy and satisfied with the work they did, and would, without a doubt use them again.

I was nervous, to say the least. I’ve have had a few bad experiences with moving companies in the past.

But Trans Van Lines quickly put my mind at ease. It is a first-rate moving company, as I used it to move from my Brooklyn apartment to a condo in Chatham, New Jersey.

First, Trans Van Lines was on time, polite, kind, and more than willing to work with my help and directions.

Secondly, they handled my personal belongings with the utmost care, without damaging anything, which is great, because you never know with so many of these fly-by-night moving operations these days.

Many of these moving outfits hire people who don’t seem to care, and it shows in the way the movers handling your personal items; It’s such a crap shoot, but, fortunately for me, Trans Van Lines isn’t one of them.

I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I connected with trans van lines for my move from to Las Vegas to Southern California,The communication was on point I had a specialist assigned to my move he was very helpful when I had a question I e-mailed them and received a quick response in a timely manner,The movers showed up on schedule and were professional and courteous in dealing with us,everything took a day to get situated and packed the things that I expected would go wrong went very well and I'm so happy I found no damage to my items, regardless of the movers you choose based on my experience I would certainly recommend that you give them an opportunity to discuss your move,also their prices were reasonable for a move of this distance and the amount of belongings I had overall it was a good experience.

I am so grateful for Trans Van Lines. My husband and I decided to purchase a home after years of living in apartments. We did not realize how much we had accumulated over the years, so we knew hiring a moving company was the only way. After much research online, and contacting family members who had just moved themselves, Trans Van Lines seemed to be the only way to go. Boy are we glad we listened! Right from the beginning of the process, Trans Van Lines made sure to ask us questions about things even we didn’t think about and gave us all the information we needed to get ready for the move. The movers showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, without a glitch. They help my husband and I feel at ease with the level of professionalism delivered. I cannot imagine suggesting any other moving company after the excellent service we received with Trans Van Lines.

Upon our upcoming move, my husband and I were very nervous about trusting our belongings to someone else. We had never moved out of the state before and we were not sure exactly what to expect. When we discovered Trans Van Lines, they definitely put our worries at ease. Their customer service was top-notch and they provided us with all necessary information to assist us. Their prices were very reasonable and competitive amongst other companies. The movers even joked around with our sons and made it a fabulous experience having essentially strangers in our homes. By the time our move was complete our boys were sad to see them go. It is hard to find a company that puts their customers first and Trans Van Lines went above and beyond the call of duty. We will never use another moving company again!!

I am an aspiring artist and lived in a 2 bedroom condo in South Carolina. My entire condo was filled with my art and other artwork I had collected over the years. When an opportunity rose to relocate to follow my passion, I knew I couldn’t move all my stuff alone, and on top of that I needed extra care to be taken in transporting my livelihood! I got a recommendation from a fellow artist to use Trans Van Lines. The entire experience was wonderful! And my art arrived undamaged to my new home!

This is by far the worst company I have ever came in contact with in my life. I have never written a bad review on any company especially considering that I too work in customer service, but this company deserves negative stars. To start off they DO NOT have their own trucks the person who picked up my items was very nice and drove another truck and informed me they are contracted with trans van lines. Also my move started at 1670 in the end I was told I needed to pay 3100. This move was extremely stressful considering I was making this move as a single mother with no help. The add additional fees for everything including breathing. They also promised me storage of 100 dollars a month but when they actually took my items it went up to 700 monthly and I was forced to put my items in a public storage. They gave me a discount of 150 to hush me up because of how much I complained. This company is a pure joke and should be investigated for bait and switch immediately.

When I was relocated to Albany, I asked a co-worker (who had relocated ahead of me) about moving companies, and she recommended Trans Van Lines. I shopped around, but ultimately Trans Van gave my husband and me the best rate. From there, our experience with this moving company was great.

I was nervous that our delicate items––like my great grandmother’s dish set from Germany and other statuettes she made––would be broken during the move, but Trans Van customer service reps were very conscientious of my concerns. My mind was put at ease when the movers showed up at our house. They were careful, friendly, and efficient when helping us pack and unpack the truck. Communication with Trans Van representatives was also very straight-forward and prompt while our belongings were en route, too.

I’d recommend Trans Van Lines to anyone looking for a reliable moving service for a big move!

When I moved from Madison, WI to Austin, TX I did a lot of research on moving teams. This one came highly recommended, and a friend of mine who used them in a 2,000 mi move said they would be perfect. The rate was reasonable, and I didn't mind tipping extra when I saw the care they showed toward my more fragile items, like my kitchenware and large electronics. They were friendly but very professional, not just wanting to shove us out the door, but wanted us to have a pleasant experience. The trucks were sturdy and reliable; I’d been worried they’d be clunky and toss the items around but everything came out of the truck into my new home undamaged. They even settled them into the home for us, very patient. I recommend them to everyone making a move!

When relocating to New York City for work, I did so much research on moving companies. I was very wary about who to trust with handling all of my household items and personal items. I eventually asked around to a few colleagues and Trans Van Lines was the best option recommended to me. They had the best rate and such great customer service. I felt as though they really cared about my moving experience as a whole and would care for my things as they were their own.

When the day came for me to move, Trans Van was very prompt and worked very swiftly to get the job done. I really didn’t have to do much of anything. I just gave a few suggestions on how to pack some things up and they were very open to it. They handled every box with care and assured me everything would arrive in great condition. Honestly, I made a great choice with Trans Van and would definitely recommend this company to anyone making a big move!

I was looking for a company to help me move all my belongings, including my car, from Denver, CO to San Francisco, CA. I found Trans Vans Lines to be the fastest and most reliable. Not only were they quick to give me a quote I couldn't refuse but there customer service was amazing from the very first second. They do provide with a dedicated team that supports you all thorough the process giving you peace of mind during such stressful changes. Trans Vans Lines made it their mission to bring me piece of mind with there packing service. I was able to relax knowing all of my beautiful furniture was going to be in excellent condition on a trip cross country. As for my car, they made sure it made safe and sound and ready for the Californian roads. Thanks Trans Vans Lines for giving me a great experience and helping me move unto my next chapter.

I started a new job earlier this month but knew about my move for some time. Before I decided to use Trans Van Lines, I researched other companies but ended up being more satisfied with the quote from this company than the others. I moved from Dallas, TX to San Diego, CA in less than a week for $2,500! I was so stressed out about moving, thinking it would take up too much time and cost so much money. I was surprised by how simple the moving process was and not having to worry about my belongings being safe or well cared for. I was always able to talk with someone if I had any questions and the moving team was respectful and stayed professional throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

This company is extremely professional and affordable. I was worried that it would cost an arm and a leg moving from Florida to Delaware, but Trans Van Lines proved me wrong. The crew that showed up to do the moving was very professional and did a great job. My family and I didn’t have to worry about anything besides getting ourselves to our new home. Everything about this process was easy and understandable. Everything was accounted for when they arrived. All my items showed up on time and without any defects. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I moved from Philidelphia to Boulder, CO this year with the help of Trans Vans Lines. It only cost me 1650$ by the end of it and they provided me an extraordinary amount of relief to my anxiety about the moving process. I will definitely use them again in the future and rate them 5 stars! Calls were answered in a timely manner and I feel like I had the full attention of the employee’s who assisted me. They were very competent and considerate with my belongings when the actual move happened. I would highly recommend to anyone making a big move soon! P.S they even helped me find accommodations so I could safely bring my pets with me!

Moving is never an easy thing. It is full of stress, uncertainty and tons of moving companies to choose from. I am very happy to have stumbled upon Trans Van Lines Moving Company though. My move could not have gone any better.

Note: I used to blast to obtain several quotes from different moving companies in the area. I received a bunch of quotes and some were very competitive! and of course, some were not. I initially chose a different moving company that had fantastic reviews and a very competitive price per hour. I let Trans Van Lines know that I would not be using their service and the gentleman I spoke with kindly thanked me for letting him know and gave me some helpful moving tips. Shortly after, he called me back and said he sought managers approval to beat the competitor's price by a few dollars.

I agreed to use their service. Best decision ever!

In the moving day, the guys showed up with an extra man to help (I had only hired 3 movers). They got right to work as I signed paperwork. They were all so friendly, efficient and hard-working. I was truly blown away lol. They wrapped all of my furniture very well as I was moving to a storage unit and they wanted to make sure it would be safe in there.

I chit-chatted with them throughout the move but they never stopped working while talking. They finished loading up the truck and we met over at the storage unit. They were just as efficient there - even though they had to go up and down an annoyingly slow elevator. They packed my unit to perfection and made sure to leave any of my requested items on the outside of the unit.

They come prepared with blankets, giant boxes, clothing racks to hang things on if needed, and more.

I wish I could recall all of their names because they were truly just the best moving services I have ever had.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6700

This is by far the worst movers ever. When I asked for the delivery process, truck dispatcher lady intentially showed that she is annoyed by the question by spitting words at me. Then, she hung up on me. The truck driver was worse. He came in already upaet and with so much hostility. He started yelling at me, asking for more money even before going over the inventory together. Since I have been moving A lot, I already had boxes all packed up and stacked orderly so that they just grab and go. My quote already went up once before they even come to my house, so I told him I cannot pay more so take what's listed on the quotation. He was very upset that he couldn't get any money out of me. He yelled at me, "do you want to bet on the number of boxes?" I have never seen anyone that hostile. Well, the number was correct and he took it. He left without taking any other stuff like plastic trashcan, a vase, etc. saying these were not on lost and I have to pay. I cannot even say all the things I had to go through with this company. I am still waiting for my stuff to arrive and I am so scared of seeing this guy again. Its Already an hour pasted promised time, which was postponed once already. Trucker doesn't reaspond to my call, customer service put me in hold even before I finish my first sentense. This is extremely scary. Please everyone do not do any business with them. These guys are gangsters trying to rip you off. These ppl have worse attitude. I am just very surprised how dishonest and hostile a person or the wholee company can be. This is serious. I normally do not write reviews but this, I have to save ppl from going through hell that you really don't need to. I hope my stuff arrives..

Even 1 star is too much for this company.

Pick up: The people charged us a "Stairs" fee even though there was no stairs to be climbed. We had an elevator in our building and no stairs were involved.

Delivery: The same happened at delivery. There was a $75 charge for "stairs" even though the delivery was to the garage of a single family home. There were NO STAIRS to be climbed.
For delivery, they sent 1 man for the delivery of over 500 cubic feet of stuff. The man made us sign before removing everything from the truck because he was in a hurry. His other option was to leave with our stuff. We told him about missing stuff that he did not make a record of. We could not claim any of it back from insurance. We lost over $500 of material that was missing. We lost a big rug, a TV stand, a shoe rack and a bar cart (since they were all disassembled).I have tried reasoning with their staff, but to no avail. They are rude and not helpful at all. I tried getting an explanation for why only 1 man was sent and why no record was made, but it was pointless. Everyone I spoke to was a "MANAGER". Apparently you cannot speak to anyone else. And there is absolutely no help at all. They will "inform the operations team to make sure it doesn't happen again" but nothing else can be done. I should have believed the other reviews I read- I was a fool to ignore them and give in to their sales persons sweet talks. They are by far the least helpful and the most rude company I have ever worked with.

This company did not deliver all of my items, and they have refused to return my calls. I end up paying them over $2000.00 for a move from Orlando, Fl. to Louisiana. I am missing a curio, and a wooden table, both valued over $500.00. The movers are very rude, and had the nerve to ask for a tip. Once my items were delivered, they just left everything in the living room and left. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Also, they wanted more money to move my items. They are all about money, poor customer service skills, and very unprofessional!

Having to move from Virginia to Florida, I had my doubts about whether I would find a moving company that I could trust. But Trans Van Lines went above and beyond what I expected! They truly took care of all of my items, no matter how big or how small. They were professional throughout the entire process and made sure I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Trans Van Lines turned out to be way less expensive than all the other moving companies out there, but you get the BEST customer service too.
Meeting back up with the movers at the drop off location was a breeze. The movers unloaded all of my belongings and helped me place everything in the right area. They were helpful, quick, and everything arrived at the location damage-free. I’ll always trust this company with my belongings!

Thank you, Trans Van Lines! I've been anxious about this move for months, and to finally have that weight off my chest is such a relief! Specifically, I was most concerned about moving my grandmother's antique china cabinet as it's very valuable to my family and pretty difficult to move considering it's very fragile and bulky. Initially, I wasn't sure if I wanted to risk it in the move, or if I wanted to pay extra and ship it separately. I'm so glad I worked up the courage to trust these guys! My china cabinet arrived in perfect condition and I saved a ton of money in the process! I'll be recommending this company to anyone I know in need of an affordable moving solution.
