Safeship Movers, coordinated through Blackstone Movers, communicated with me throughout the entire process and were consistently pleasant and helpful. The team was professional, polite, and easy to work with, and they made sure to answer my questions along the way. Scheduling and coordination were handled smoothly, and I appreciated the regular updates and responsiveness.

Overall, they made a stressful move more manageable and I can't recommend them enough!

My husband and I just finished a relocation from Orlando, FL to Dallas, TX, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. We weren’t sure about working with a moving broker at first, but Daniel, our move coordinator, made the process simple and stress-free. He provided a clear quote, explained the steps in detail, and kept in touch to make sure we felt supported the whole way through. The moving crew was punctual, professional, and handled all our belongings with care, nothing damaged, nothing missing. After a few rough moving experiences in the past, this one was a real relief. Huge thank you to Tim and AJ from Rushmore Van Lines for helping me move! Moving is such a stressful experience, and I was moving out of state at that, and they were on time, answered all of my questions, and were super helpful and accommodating. I also had my cat in my apartment and they were flexible with working around him. Definitely a great experience and I would ask them to help me move again. They even offered to give me some boxes to pack my personal items for my drive out of state. Very kind!

I am hoping this review catches someone's eye, to learn from the mistakes I made. Please, for your sake, for your family's sake, do not book with this company. Like many people here. I have been swindled at every step of this process. The initial valuation, the price that was quoted to me was $3,300. I told by James Coleman, that if I switched my days they would be willing to do the move for $2,800. I agreed and booked the service. On the call done 3 days prior to the move, the new person Thomas Muzzio now quotes me the price of $3,600. I ask why there is almost a 1k difference. He tells me that it is because I added more thing; which I did, 4 gym bags and 2 back packs. When I asked him to go over the list with me, he was exasperated telling me that would mean going through every item on the list. I told him to email me the list and we will go through it together. After a painstaking process, we got down to $2900. I paid and the pick up day was set.

Fast forward and the movers arrive. The company was "Move-with-a-pro". With them came additional fees; $50 distance fee per person ($100 total), additional packing fees of $200. There is nothing I can do at this stage of the game so I pay it. I ask the movers, when he thinks it can be there, he tells me the following Monday. Too good to be true, and it was. Monday comes, and no one with "Move-with-a-pro" is picking up my phone call. So I call safe ship moving and speak to a representative named Xavier. He tells me that I signed for 1-10 business days and that he would send an "urgent" email and get back to me with an update.

I am writing this review on day 10. I called safe ship moving again as Xavier instructed me to do if I had not received my items in 10 business days. I got transferred to Xavier again, who is now telling me they have 30 days to bring my items. I ask him what the plan is as this is the second time now the plan has changed. He tells me he will send an "urgent" email. I told him to transfer me to a manager as he did nothing to help me for 9 business days. I speak to the manager who once again told me they will send an urgent email. I told him, that it is ridiculous that an email is the only way to reach the moving companies they hire and that I was able to reach the moving company not 10 minutes before I called safe ship moving customer service. As a side note, Move-with-a-pro told me "no one will deliver your things for $1,000", so maybe avoid them too. After I told the manager at safeship this, he finally called the moving company. Where it stands now, is that they will ship my things the following Monday, and to give 3-4 days after to get my things. God only knows if any of that is true and who knows what condition my belongings will arrive in if they arrive at all.

The bottom line is this. People at this company will blatantly lie to you multiple times. On top of this, there is no accountability and the people that this company hires are really terrible. If you, like me, have you hands full with family, starting a new job and multiple other stressors, this company is the absolute last thing you need to further complicate your life.

My experience with this company was great just had things picked up, now I have to receive my goods at the other end so hopefully the unpackers will be as professional efficient and get the job done as fast and friendly as the two gentlemen I had!

Word of advise if you have a positive attitude in this life things like moving, the company, the movers everything will be great, if you are looking for the negative don’t know what to tell you!

This wasn’t my first across country move and this company put the last movers to Shame!

So Yes I would use this company again!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2300

I wish there was an option for zero stars. The price I put on this is from my original estimate, I’m not sure about the numbers it ended up being but it was definitely more than two times of what I was originally told it would be. When I first contacted safe ship moving everyone was great. Very kind and helpful. I got a quote (which ended up being much higher) and decided to book with them. When my items were picked up (by BOD and US) they arrived on time and were fast and efficient (thank you Eric). Im glad I waited til delivery to write a review because everything went downhill from there. They said it would take 2-12 days to arrive with my items and it ended up taking 14 days (not counting weekends). I had to keep calling to check and on Wednesday they said they would be here in 2-3 days. 3 days later I called to check and they said it would be another 2-3 days. I got a call the day after they told me that saying that they would be there that night (only an 8 hour warning. I was told they would let me know when they were 24 hours out). When the movers finally arrived they were slow and unprofessional, screaming and arguing with each other the whole time. They just threw everything in the apartment and didn’t put any of my furniture back together except for my bed, which when I moved it just a little bit, completely fell apart (it would have been dangerous if I had tried to lay on it first). I am still sleeping on the floor until I can figure out how to put my bed together and I most likely will have to hire someone to do it. The unwrapping of everything was left to me (even though many were wrapped in their blankets). Some of my items were damaged and some were missing. They also brought in 3 items that were not mine (one of which was a hospital bed, which would have been left here had I not unwrapped it). They charged me 400 more dollars than I was told I would have to pay at dropoff just a couple days before. I realized once they got here that it was different moving companies that had packed up my stuff vs. dropping it off (drop off was by Tust Moving). I wish I had done more research before I hired them. Overall I had an extremely horrible experience with this moving company (broker) and would not recommend them to even my worst enemy.

Every item was carefully wrapped and labeled, which gave us peace of mind while waiting for delivery. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly attitude made the stressful process of moving much easier. We’re confident our things are in good hands and look forward to a smooth delivery. Highly recommend their packing services so far!

I used Safe Ship Moving Services for a cross-state move from Charlotte to Nashville for my 2-bedroom place. The movers were polite, efficient, and very careful with my belongings. They handled the bigger items like my couch and dresser with no issues, and I didn’t have to worry about damage during the trip. Communication was clear the entire time, and they gave me updates as they were on the way. It felt like they genuinely cared about doing a good job, and I’d definitely call them again if I need to move.

I've moved over a dozen times in my life, and this was by far the best moving experience I've had, from the initial estimate, which was very thorough, through the final item being loaded to the truck. Service was top notch, both from the movers themselves and through everyone I dealt with throughout the process.

On the day of the move, the movers arrived early in the morning, which was unexpected, as I typically end up waiting around for movers to show up. Our moving crew showed up smiling, energetic, and eager to make us feel comfortable and help us get the move done quickly and efficiently.

I had a great experience with Cobra Van Lines. José Ruiz and his team were extremely polite, professional, and efficient throughout the entire move. They treated every piece of furniture with care, carefully wrapping items in blankets and even re-taping some of my less-than-perfect packing. I was especially impressed with how skillfully they maneuvered the large truck into some very tight spaces. I would gladly hire José and his team again in the future — highly recommended!

I contracted with Safe Ship for a guaranteed move pick-up and delivery. They sent a mover that did not honor that paid for delivery guarantee, damaged items and lost boxes. Safe Ship assumed no responsibility for the poor movers provided and assumed no responsibility for the horrible move experience. The notion of using a move broker to oversee and guarantee a quality experience resulted in a hefty payment to Safe Ship and an incredibly derelict mover being assigned. Do not use Safe Ship expecting a smooth experience. There seems to be little quality control over the movers they use and they have little oversight or accountability over the move once they collect your money. In the end, they were of no help as I was left to deal with a fairly unprofessional non-responsive mover by myself and Safe Ship took zero responsibility for their actions. I was told they do not provide any refunds or restitution regardless of their role in the move. They collect your money and you're left to deal with the mess they set up for you. Do not use this company and expect quality service!!!!

Rushmore Van Lines did a phenomenal job moving my belongings from my apartment in Dallas to my new home in St. Louis. Eugene and Andrew were outstanding — professional, efficient, and incredibly communicative every step of the way. They handled everything with care, packed and loaded quickly, and made what could have been a stressful move completely smooth. Their teamwork and attention to detail were top-notch. I highly recommend Rushmore Van Lines to anyone looking for a reliable, stress-free moving experience!

My experience with Safe Ship was rocky but the actual delivery movers saved the day and the reason for a positive review. Murat was very professional and determined to satisfy the customer. He made sure everything was in order before leaving. I appreciate the level of communication and the follow-through. Although, I have found some issues as I continue to unpack, I appreciate the Murat's efforts.

I am disappointed with the end cost and hope I have no further issues.

I had to move my father's furniture after he died this fall. Called Safe Ship to help coordinate the moving of a lot of furniture. My first contact with them was very positive, as the gentleman was very friendly and listened carefully to all the needs and concerns I had. He took me from room to room to get a sense of what needed to be moved. He explained every part of the process from beginning to end. He looked for ways to save me money. After everything was completed, he walked me carefully through the paperwork and electronic signing. I received emails and texts to keep me posted every step of the way. Highly recommended, a very professional group.
