This company is handling my move to Florida, the job is only halfway done. Delivery is waiting. Thus, the moving ordeal job is half-done. The movers Audi, Pablo, and Tony are excellent workers. They are highly skilled dealing with their tasks of packing and loading. It speaks well of their boss,Stevin Mendez, with whom I talked during the process. Evidently a professional, who asked on the development of the job at hand. Initially, I am awarding the company Unlimited Moving and Storage five stars for work well done.

This company turned our move into a nightmare. They use on bait-and-switch pricing, make promises they don’t keep, and show an alarming level of incompetence.

One of the main reasons we chose them was the glowing star ratings and reviews featured on their own website. We now realize those cannot possibly reflect real customer experiences. We fell for it, and we regret it.

After we had signed the contract, we found out they wouldn't provide a firm delivery date unless we paid an extra $900. Without paying, we were told we’d be stuck with a 1–10 day arrival window. No one moving out of state can sit in an empty home for up to ten days without their belongings. We paid the extra fee because we had no choice. Even then, they still arrived a full day late, costing us another night in a hotel.

Pickup was just as awful. Scheduled for 8 a.m., they didn’t arrive until 5 p.m. When they finally showed up, numerous items were broken or damaged — artwork, a table, lamps, and other valuables — because of careless, disorganized packing. Boxes were stuffed with random items and mislabeled, turning unpacking into a chaotic mess.

They also refused to take any liquids, not just cleaners but even simple toiletries like shampoo and lotion, which forced us to throw out hundreds of dollars of products. And many of our items never arrived at all. They're just gone.

To make matters worse, they delivered one of our chests upside down. That’s how little care they take.

Customer service was practically nonexistent. Every call dumped us into the same voicemail loop with lower-level employees who could not tell us where our truck was or what day our belongings would arrive. Attempts to escalate were ignored — calls and messages to leadership went unanswered. They will not even provide the name of a single person in leadership. It genuinely felt like our possessions were being held hostage.

We reported the company to the Better Business Bureau over a month ago, and to this day, they have not offered any resolution. They also refuse to provide any direct contact information for their management team, which only adds to the lack of transparency.

I’ve moved many times, and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had with a moving company. We are not litigious people. however, due to the stress, inconvenience and lost money we experienced and the company's refusal to offer any resolution, we are now considering legal action.

Their low initial estimate is nothing more than bait — once you sign, the hidden charges, incompetence, and stress begin. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

I was in a tough situation. I wildly miscalculated my own abilities with moving my own stuff. When I had realized my mistake, I had 2 days to move out my belongings. I found Safe Ship Moving through panicked Google searches. I called their number, no wait, immediate reassurance, help the very next day, within an hour of planning and contacting all their helpers. My stuff was picked up the very next day within 24 hours of scheduling, and the team reassured me throughout the entire process. The same day I had already recommended this company to a fellow neighbor who will be leaving themselves within the next year.

Jake had been very professional and polite when verifying my personal experiences and asked I share to help the business reach more people. People who may have been in the same spot as I was just days ago. Thank you very much!

I had such a great experience with this moving company! From start to finish, they were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and genuinely nice to work with. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and answered every question with patience and clarity.

The team was professional, careful with my belongings, and always had a positive attitude. It’s rare to find a company that’s this reliable and this kind. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, friendly moving experience!

Quick, thorough, and friendly. Overall wonderful service from Rushmore; Iurii and his team were excellent from start to finish. They showed up right on time, walked through the plan with me, and immediately got to work without wasting a minute. Every item, from bulky furniture to fragile keepsakes, was carefully wrapped, labeled, and loaded so nothing was damaged or misplaced.

The crew communicated clearly throughout the day, checking in about where I wanted things placed and offering helpful suggestions when I wasn’t sure. They worked efficiently but never made the move feel rushed, and they stayed flexible when a few last-minute changes came up.

What stood out the most was how polite and professional everyone was. Moving can be stressful, but their calm, positive attitude made the entire experience surprisingly easy. The price was fair for the level of service I received, and there were no hidden fees or surprises at the end of the job.

I would absolutely use Rushmore again and recommend Iurii’s team to anyone who wants a smooth, low-stress move handled by true professionals. From the first phone call to the final box being set down in my new place, I felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared for as a customer, not just another job on the schedule, which made a huge difference for me.

I had a cross country move I needed help with. I booked with another company first who turned out to be very exploitative and shady, and Safe Ship came to my rescue and was able to pick up my furniture the next day. The safe ship associates (Patrick and Noor) were super helpful and understanding. Their transparency made this process much more manageable. They found me every discount available to me, which was very thoughtful. The moving company was Rushmore Van Lines, and they were super helpful, kind, and reasonable about everything. They worked with me to get everything on the truck and I didn’t have to do much moving at all. Very communicative. I will definitely be booking with them again for future moves.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the moving crew that picked up my belongings today. Giovanni, Armando, and Aman were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, courteous, and clearly experienced. They took the time to walk through everything with me, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable before getting started.

What really stood out was how carefully they handled my furniture and personal items. Everything was wrapped, padded, and secured with great attention to detail. They worked efficiently without ever feeling rushed, and it was obvious they took pride in doing the job right. Even heavy and awkward pieces were handled smoothly and safely, with no damage to my home or belongings.

Their teamwork was excellent, communication was clear, and they maintained a positive attitude the entire time. Moving can be stressful, but this crew made the entire pickup process easy and worry-free. It honestly felt like my belongings were in very good hands.

I have never used a broker before. Since this was a quick turnaround, using Safe Ship took the pressure off. Samantha K. guananteed us a safe move. Her confidence and belief in our US Veterans reassured us that we chose the right company. She said, "Call me anytime, I am here for you for the entire move." She chose the carrier quickly and efficiently by looking at Google reviews. Their customer service reps were excellent, patiently answering every question, primarily by phone. I appreciate the time they took to make sure that we were satisfied, especially Dillon and Shane. The Quality Assurance call is very important because this is where the final details for the bill of lading is finalized. They take the pressure off by communicating with the carrier, the driver, pickup, the trip, and delivery. We were very pleased with the carrier they chose, called, "Pleasant Relocation." David called us the day before and came promptly at the time he said he would come the next day. His team of packers were top notch professionals and courteous. They asked questions to make sure that they packed the right things. We were very pleased with their packing and pickup services. David encouraged me to write a review for Safe Ship Moving Services several times. I will say that Safe Ship customer services reps were quick to answer my emails and phone calls. So far, so good!

I'll be perfectly honest: I almost didn't stick with Safe Ship. A day or so after I signed the contract, I got cold feet. So, I called the company intent on cancelling. After an hour and a half on the phone, Joel and Grover presented a very compelling case and convinced me to give it a little more time and consideration. They even extended the cancellation window as a goodwill gesture.

I decided to give them my business. But it came with the warning that any "bait and switch," "gotcha," "red flags," or other potential negatives would be met with consequences the likes of which their company had probably never experienced. They were confident that I would end up being a very satisfied customer. I wasn't sure if it was confidence or stupidity on their part, but I admired the "can do" attitude.

The vehicle transport went off without a hitch. Granted, the pick up was delayed, but I didn't mind because I wasn't in a hurry. I told the company contracted by Safe Ship that it was perfectly fine if the car arrived at its destination late. Much to my surprise, even though it was picked up two days late, the car still arrived at its destination AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!

The household move itself was ... okay.

Pickup was a breeze. The crew was punctual, professional, meticulous, and friendly. They even showed up a day ahead of schedule. My box count ended up slightly higher than the estimate so I was charged a few hundred dollars more -- no big deal. But before I was charged, Safe Ship called and told me that before I'd be on the hook to pay even one more dime, they would need video and photographic proof of the overage. I found that level of integrity impressive. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind paying the extra. It was just incredibly impressive that Safe Ship wanted to make certain everything was legit before I made the payment.

Drop off wasn't so good. Mistakes were made and lessons were learned.

That said, however, Safe Ship had my back and my interests at heart. From the moment I expressed even the slightest frustration, an entire team at Safe Ship got to work assessing the situation, mediating between me and the moving company, and keeping my best interests at the forefront of every step they took. These people went to bat for me. They dotted every I and crossed every T until I was completely satisfied with the outcome.

Quite frankly, I've never had an experience quite like the one I had with Safe Ship. They exceeded my expectations. They worked tirelessly to ensure my complete satisfaction, their communication was positively remarkable, their candor was refreshing. There simply isn't enough praise that can be heaped on to this company.

I don't plan to move again anytime soon, but if I did, I would go with Safe Ship again. They not only earned my business, they earned my trust and my respect. That's not easy.

Joel and Grover took a gamble when they asked me to reconsider cancelling with Safe Ship. Clearly, they knew they could please even the most difficult customer -- not just please -- exceed my expectations. I'm incredibly grateful to them and to the entire Safe Ship company for going above and beyond on my behalf. There's only one word to sum up the experience and that's, "wow."
