Roadway Moving

This is the second time we moved with Roadway and I couldn’t be more thankful and thrilled to have used them again. We moved out of our storage unit in NJ and the efficiency of the move was incredible (again)! They moved our items with such care but move at the same time very quickly. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they even placed the furniture in its respective rooms which was such a help. Our move was a total of 8 hours from unpacking our storage unit into the truck, a lunch break, travel to our new place and then unloading the truck. Not to mention I didn’t have to lift a finger. As many times as we moved, there’s no way we could have been that quick and efficient on our own. Thank you again to Roadway! You have us as a customer for life ??

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Although they are the first movers I have used who delivered my items without any breakage, they did not deliver two very expensive specimen plants in their equally expensive planters. They are rare enough that I can not even replace them.They insisted on my signing off on everything having arrived before they would even unload the truck. So, I had to sign off despite two plants valued at about $500 each NOT being delivered. This should not be allowed. They were unresponsive when I asked that certain things NOT be packed. They packed them anyway and then could not find them to unpack them even when I discovered immediately that they were gone. In a couple of instances, the foreman insisted I had changed my mind and told them to pack the items. I did no such thing. The foreman, a young guy, had a mouth I could do without. He insisted the scratches on my bed frame were not only there before they moved it out to the truck but that he had pointed them out to me. Not true. When I asked that they not put other items on my bedroom dresser while they were packing because it was an expensive piece of furniture, his response was that I had enough money to replace it. That was one comment which got reported to the company. They were incredibly expensive, and I have to wonder why they insist on a credit card and will not take a check. Would I use them again? Heck, no.

This was my second time hiring Roadway Moving and they did not disappoint once again. They packed all my things this time - I’m talking cups, plates, appliances, clothes, bathroom toiletries etc - and they did a phenomenal job. They also took like 3-4 hours when usually it takes me a week or two to pack everything up. They moved me into my new home and not a single thing broke. They arranged all my furniture back where I wanted it to go and I was just so so happy by the end of it all. If you’re considering movers, do yourself a favor and let it be Roadway!

I used Roadway Moving for my 1800sq foot, 4 floor townhouse move, and I was BEYOND impressed! They showed up right on time and were super friendly, which made the whole experience nice and relaxed. They packed everything up quickly and handled everything with care—nothing got broken! They hauled heavy items likely couch and grill down four flights of stairs without a hiccup. They even organized the boxes for easy unpacking, which was a huge help. I’d definitely recommend Roadway Moving and will absolutely reach out to them again when I need to move again. TOTALLY worth it!

Firstly, they are so thorough with the planning, contracting and estimate process. The communication is prompt and clear and they follow up to check on any updated changes to your # of boxes and larger furniture items.

Secondly, they give you an accurate estimated time of arrival and their moving staff are really efficient and energetic. I have no idea how our lead mover was so cheerful despite the challenging move and despite having to move larger furniture that wouldn’t fit through the elevator up 3 flights of stairs and down an entire apartment hallway.

Nothing broke and I’d hire them again.

My fiancé and I are so so thankful to have had Roadway Moving booked, because the night before our move I fell in the subway and sprained my ankle. Suddenly moving out of a third floor walkup became impossible. The Roadway movers were kind, efficient, careful and fast as heck! The speed they moved out of a third-floor walkup was incredibly impressive. They showed up on time, and got the move out and move in complete within a couple hours. I have heavy antique furniture and they made it look like moving them was a breeze. We simply could never have done it without them and will never do another move without them again.

I cannot recommend Roadway Moving enough. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to make my move as smooth and stress-free as possible.

I also did the packing option and they packed everything with such care and precision that I felt completely at ease (even though I have a ton of vintage and delicate items). The team was on time, professional, kind, and incredibly thoughtful every step of the way. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and problem-solving made this experience so much easier than I ever imagined. If you’re considering movers, trust me—this is the team you want.

I used Roadway moving for my recent move across the valley in Los Angeles. I have truly never had a more professional, fast, communicative, and efficient move in my life - and this was 13th time moving! They were on time, quick, and made sure everything that I own made it safely from one home to the next. I cannot recommend Roadway moving enough! I have already told all of my friends and family who are planning to move about them as they help with moves across the US and internationally. I had an incredible experience using Roadway for my move across town. This is my second move with their team and I was blown away both times by their professionalism and efficiency. They come on time, they wrap everything with precision, and they handle all of my objects with the utmost care. I was worried about getting some of the bigger items (my couch, a giant wardrobe, a 6 foot mirror) up the stairs of my walk-up, but they handled it without any stress. I’d reccomend Roadway to anyone.

We could not have been more pleased with Roadway Moving. We used them for a cross country move from LA to Florida and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly organized, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience and keeping the moving process as stress-free as possible. They were responsive during our estimate and initial signing of contract, and continued to be responsive throughout the entire process, from calling multiple times before our move out and delivery day to confirm logistics and ensure us that they were on top of things, to the actual movers that showed up to our house and were very respectful and efficient of our time, our belongings, and any of our concerns. We are not planning to do another cross-country move soon—but love that Roadway also does local moves and would only use them to move our family in the future. We will continue to recommend them to our friends and family as well.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Roadway Moving! Oscar led a team of three movers, and they were truly fantastic from start to finish. This was my first major move and I was incredibly nervous for it, but the Roadway team could not have made this day easier or more efficient. They were SO quick-- a super well oiled machine. They were kind and helpful and eased my stresses right off the bat. I'm a photographer and had a lot of precious and expensive equipment that they handled perfectly. I also had a lot of large vintage furniture pieces that I was stressed about moving and they handled them with the utmost care. They also dismounted my TV and projector so I didn't have to deal with that while packing. They unpacked everything perfectly with how I wanted it all set up in my new place. I truly could not believe how well this day went. I'm so thankful to this team and also the coordinating team who made the logistics easy and straight forward. I will be a Roadway customer forever!

CROSS COUNTRY MOVE HAS NEVER BEEN SO EASY!

First and foremost, this has made our move from MD to CA so easy and stress free. Roadway came, gently prepped and packed our items and did it FAST too. You can easily tell these guys have been doing this for a while. It was amazing to watch them in action and how easy they made it look.

I felt very comfortable with how careful they were with my valuable items and feel worry-free about them making their way across the country

The movers themselves were some of the most kind, easy going people i’ve ever met. They were very attentive, kept us updated on the process and made everything so easy. We had great conversation with our movers and they were very polite and easy to talk to.

We never had movers in the past and after this experience we’re going to call roadway for any move we have in the future. Once you go with roadway, you’ll never go back!

I coordinated a move and storage with ease. The level of communication and choice removed all stress from a highly stressful situation.

The movers arrived on time, introducing themselves and got started straight away. They took great care of my belongings, wrapped, boxed and worked together to get my furniture onto the truck and off to storage.
