Roadway Moving

Moving is typically a stressful experience but with Roadway Moving I can say it's actually anything but. Both legs of my move from Ohio to Miami were successful, efficient and smooth. Not only were the teams incredibly professional when it came to handling our items with care, they were also friendly and a joy to be around. They arrived on time and got straight to work, executing the day's plan with ease. In Miami, I have spiral staircases, which proved to be a complete breeze for the Roadway movers. I would recommend Roadway Moving to every one of my close friends and family members and intend to book them again for my next move.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Although they are the first movers I have used who delivered my items without any breakage, they did not deliver two very expensive specimen plants in their equally expensive planters. They are rare enough that I can not even replace them.They insisted on my signing off on everything having arrived before they would even unload the truck. So, I had to sign off despite two plants valued at about $500 each NOT being delivered. This should not be allowed. They were unresponsive when I asked that certain things NOT be packed. They packed them anyway and then could not find them to unpack them even when I discovered immediately that they were gone. In a couple of instances, the foreman insisted I had changed my mind and told them to pack the items. I did no such thing. The foreman, a young guy, had a mouth I could do without. He insisted the scratches on my bed frame were not only there before they moved it out to the truck but that he had pointed them out to me. Not true. When I asked that they not put other items on my bedroom dresser while they were packing because it was an expensive piece of furniture, his response was that I had enough money to replace it. That was one comment which got reported to the company. They were incredibly expensive, and I have to wonder why they insist on a credit card and will not take a check. Would I use them again? Heck, no.

This is my second time moving with Roadway! I had an amazing experience both times. I was moving out of a multi-story home and Roadway movers were very careful and efficient with disassembling and wrapping up all my furniture. I felt confident that nothing was going to break in the move. They met me at my next place and quickly unpacked everything. They asked me where I wanted everything to go and reassembled all my furniture back together as well! Such a smooth and fast experience. Thank you Roadway Moving!!

I had an incredible experience using Roadway for my move across town. This is my second move with their team and I was blown away both times by their professionalism and efficiency. They come on time, they wrap everything with precision, and they handle all of my objects with the utmost care. I was worried about getting some of the bigger items (my couch, a giant wardrobe, a 6 foot mirror) up the stairs of my walk-up, but they handled it without any stress. I’d reccomend Roadway to anyone.

We could not have been more pleased with Roadway Moving. We used them for a cross country move from LA to Florida and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly organized, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience and keeping the moving process as stress-free as possible. They were responsive during our estimate and initial signing of contract, and continued to be responsive throughout the entire process, from calling multiple times before our move out and delivery day to confirm logistics and ensure us that they were on top of things, to the actual movers that showed up to our house and were very respectful and efficient of our time, our belongings, and any of our concerns. We are not planning to do another cross-country move soon—but love that Roadway also does local moves and would only use them to move our family in the future. We will continue to recommend them to our friends and family as well.

This is our 5th move in 7 years and for the first time we have decided to take on a moving team. Let's just say this has been the best moving experience I've ever had all thanks to Roadway! Jorge's team was so amazing and efficient. All of our items were wrapped with such care that everything arrived 100% clean and undamaged in any way. They rolled out a custom carpet leading to the front door which helped our floors not get damaged as well! I didn't have to lift a finger they truly took care of everything and even packed the few items that I forgot to pack myself. This is a team and service you won't regret hiring! They truly make moving a fun, memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank you Roadway!!

Moving in NYC is so stressful, from apartment hunting to the challenge of moving all of your stuff! But Roadway Moving made everything so much easier and kept us from worrying. The entire process was seamless and efficient.

First, we did a video call to show them how many things we had, which was much better than listing it all out. Each of the reps consistently checked in with us throughout the entire process, right up to our move day, and made themselves readily available when we needed them.

And our actual movers—THE BEST! We moved out of a 4th-floor walk-up, and they handled every flight of stairs with great energy and smiles. A special thanks to Neno, Mío, Sash, and Elvis—we appreciate y'all big time!

I used Roadway Moving for my 1800sq foot, 4 floor townhouse move, and I was BEYOND impressed! They showed up right on time and were super friendly, which made the whole experience nice and relaxed. They packed everything up quickly and handled everything with care—nothing got broken! They hauled heavy items likely couch and grill down four flights of stairs without a hiccup. They even organized the boxes for easy unpacking, which was a huge help. I’d definitely recommend Roadway Moving and will absolutely reach out to them again when I need to move again. TOTALLY worth it!

Firstly, they are so thorough with the planning, contracting and estimate process. The communication is prompt and clear and they follow up to check on any updated changes to your # of boxes and larger furniture items.

Secondly, they give you an accurate estimated time of arrival and their moving staff are really efficient and energetic. I have no idea how our lead mover was so cheerful despite the challenging move and despite having to move larger furniture that wouldn’t fit through the elevator up 3 flights of stairs and down an entire apartment hallway.

Nothing broke and I’d hire them again.

My fiancé and I are so so thankful to have had Roadway Moving booked, because the night before our move I fell in the subway and sprained my ankle. Suddenly moving out of a third floor walkup became impossible. The Roadway movers were kind, efficient, careful and fast as heck! The speed they moved out of a third-floor walkup was incredibly impressive. They showed up on time, and got the move out and move in complete within a couple hours. I have heavy antique furniture and they made it look like moving them was a breeze. We simply could never have done it without them and will never do another move without them again.

I also did the packing option and they packed everything with such care and precision that I felt completely at ease (even though I have a ton of vintage and delicate items). I have truly never had a more professional, fast, communicative, and efficient move in my life - and this was 13th time moving! I have had only bad experiences with movers in the past. So I was handling my moves myself for some time. Did I mention I move almost every year? Well let me tell you every year it is harder. So my husband suggested to hire movers and I was very skeptical but I was slammed with work and being it Christmas times, I accepted.

From the first minute with Roadway movers I was feeling more calm.

The guys arrived before scheduled time. I had most of my stuff packed but the space was tiny so it was hard to even maneuver but they did everything with a big smile. Whatever needed to be protected was covered in moving blankets they even brought wardrobe boxes and packed all my clothes.

We were done in no time and ready to get to my new place.

The unpacking went even faster but I loved how they asked me where I wanted each box and item and didn’t just dropped it anywhere..

They really made this move easier and faster. If I have to move again, Roadway movers is the only company I would go with. Enjoyed every moment and all good vibes from the movers. Good energy smiles, and care.

This is my second time working with Roadway moving for a local move. Both times, they have been incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with care. They carefully wrap my furniture, work with me on any last minute changes I needed to make to inventory, and were honestly just FUN - we played fun music all day, had great conversations while they moved, and I just really enjoyed their personal and professional vibe.

I moved from a 2Br/2Ba single level house with big garage to a 1Br walk up apartment and they did it all in less than 6 hours. It felt so nice to just relax in the apartment when they were done doing the heavy lifting while I unpacked a few boxes. It was also nice to unpack boxes and give the boxes and packing materials right back to them so I didn't have to deal with the recycling on my own.

Truly 10/10 experience and I look forward to hiring them again in the future!
