I’ve used Roadway Moving for two major moves—New York to Miami in 2021 and Miami to Asheville in 2024—and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As someone who collects vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces, I’m incredibly picky about how my belongings are handled. Roadway is the only company I trust to pack and transport my fragile decor and custom furniture.

This recent move had a lot of challenges, from disassembling a custom-built vintage bed to holding my things in storage while I waited to close on my new home. Roadway handled every detail with care and professionalism. They even sent Carlos, a team member from my Miami move, all the way to Asheville to help finish the job, which made the experience so much more personal and seamless.

Roadway Moving was such a dream come true for my family and I. Not only was the team so incredibly sweet, but they also were so good at what they do. We packed some of our house ourselves, but they came in and packed a few rooms along with any extras we had laying around and needed. They made the day go like a breeze and also made it so fun for my kids. We moved across country, the furthest move we’ve ever done, and it was by far the easiest move for my family and I because Roadway made it such an amazing experience. Not to mention, absolutely nothing was broke when we got to our final destination because the LA team packed it all so well. Thank you Roadway Moving!! I genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough.

I first used roadway for a move from OR to CA. I was so scared and overwhelmed for a long distance move...like roadway says, "see? we told you moving could be stress free!". Now I moved just 5 miles, and I was even MORE overwhelmed than before. I unfortunately did not prepare properly in time and had lots of loose items still out. Roadway went the extra mile putting everything away. (I tipped very good for this, it was insane) and every time I would walk back to an area to move stuff, it was put away. My whole closet! These menly men hang up all your clothes in the wardrobe boxes. So cool how they show up at the new place, roll out the blue carpet, and GO. Thank you roadway, i'll see you again one day!

I used Roadway Moving for my 1800sq foot, 4 floor townhouse move, and I was BEYOND impressed! They showed up right on time and were super friendly, which made the whole experience nice and relaxed. They packed everything up quickly and handled everything with care—nothing got broken! They hauled heavy items likely couch and grill down four flights of stairs without a hiccup. They even organized the boxes for easy unpacking, which was a huge help. I’d definitely recommend Roadway Moving and will absolutely reach out to them again when I need to move again. TOTALLY worth it!

Firstly, they are so thorough with the planning, contracting and estimate process. The communication is prompt and clear and they follow up to check on any updated changes to your # of boxes and larger furniture items.

Secondly, they give you an accurate estimated time of arrival and their moving staff are really efficient and energetic. I have no idea how our lead mover was so cheerful despite the challenging move and despite having to move larger furniture that wouldn’t fit through the elevator up 3 flights of stairs and down an entire apartment hallway.

Nothing broke and I’d hire them again.
