They stole $1050.00 in overpayment from me. They said they would move my belongings to Florida - never happened, stayed in NJ. Then - long story - they said they needed to move out of the storage unit they occupied and I needed to come retrieve my belongings ....which were in rough shape, broken and sitting outside a warehouse in the drive. They would not release my things without a $200 fee on top of stealing $1050.00! I doubt my belongings were EVER in the warehouse - no telling where. Michelle used various men to front her operation - [NAME EDIT] and [NAME EDIT] in Florida, Charlene in NJ. All website, phone numbers and contacts - disconnected!!!

Time for lawsuit. Hopefully, BBB will keep her from ever opening a business again - however, thats why the "front men" and why she calls on an unlisted number - this isn't her first time!

No Integrity, pure low class tacky B.S. the energy people like this put out eventually returns, in spades!

Just completed my relocation from Freehold New Jersey to Miami Florida. After shopping around I was referred to Radius by my real estate agent. The pricing was fair, but I was mainly concerned with my belongings arriving in one piece. Terry and the guys made sure to take extra care of all of my fragile items (dishes, wine glasses, mirrors etc) they took apart and wrapped all of my furniture very very well. Upon receiving delivery of my stuff everything seems to be as I had left it. Delivery was right on time and I couldn’t be happier. I am leaving this review as promised and would reccommend them to anyone.

NO STARS. This is by far the worst experience of my life. Radius moving and it's management sucks big time. It's been over a month and half since they moved my stuff from east coast. I didn't get it until a month later. No communication whatsoever. The lady at the office Emily or whatever her name is (they don't have a real office) is extremely rude. And the owner Michele is the worst. I just need the remaining of my stuff back. You guys better watch out for the lawsuit coming your way. This is the last time you'll mess with peoples lives. It's been over a month and still haven't heard from them.

My first time moving long distance from New Jersey to Florida. I used Radius Moving and storage. What a great moving company to use. My sales rep, customer service, and all the movers were awesome. Even the price was reasonable for all the stuff I had. My delivery went smoothly and all my furniture arrived on time, with No Damages.
If you are looking for a five-star moving company radius moving and storage is definitely the one. I will definitely recommend my friends and family. Keep up the good work guys!

I work for a major food brand company and every 2 years I am relocating to a different state. When I moved from NJ to Virginia I decided to use Radius Moving and storage company and by far this has been the best move ever! For starters the people are very friendly and knowledgeable, very easy to work with. The prices were very reasonable and they were able to accommodate my move with short notice. This was the first time that I moved where none of my belongings were damaged. I will definately be using them again and recommending them to my friends and family. I don't usually write reviews but the service is so great that I wanted to make others aware of the great service that this place provides!

Service cost: $3800

I would give negative stars if possible. These guys WILL SCAM YOU. Do not use this company. There are plenty of other reputable moving companies available. I wish I would have listened to the reviews I saw. If you are reading this - do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.

I was scammed out of $600.00 from these guys. I dealt with Tom from sales - they took my money and when I needed to cancel my trip, they would not answer the phone. I called literally 25+ times and never spoke with anyone. After countless HOURS of trying to fix this problem, I ended up $600 in the hole. I was sold a false promise that I could cancel up to 5 days before my trip date.. I confirmed SEVERAL times. I canceled a few weeks prior to my move and was told "too bad". Tom went from salesman - to acting like he never spoke to me before in his life. I canceled with him on the phone and he pretended like he never spoke to me.

They are extremely unprofessional and don't care at all about you or your move. They are just trying to get that % down payment and then they could care less about you. Look at the bad experiences on BBB and other review sites. Yes, every company will have some bad reviews but in complete transparency, I would never write a review on a company unless they really deserved a good or bad rating. I hope this warning is enough for you to stay away from these con artists.

If you choose to risk your money - take written record of every transaction and read the fine print.

I had to stop by and drop a review because I have had such a phenomenal experience with Radius!! This is my second time using them and I am truly satisfied! We first found out about Radius when we were moving from Florida to NY. To my surprise when I first called I got the owner! She was so helpful and understood I had a budget to work with for the big move. After describing all my items she provided me a quote! I was very happy with the pricing so I provided my deposit right away and scheduled my moving date. The day of the move went flawlessly, thankfully we only needed one truck. The formen were very nice, helpful and extremely careful! All my items were nicely wrapped and packed away in a careful order. It was like watching the Art of moving right in front of us. We arrived to NY the next day and our truck arrived 2 days after my move! Everything arrived in great shape, non of my items were broken or scratched and the best part is they stuck to their word when we paid our final balance. Since I had such a wonderful experience I used Radius Moving again! This time I got a friendly customer service agent, they thanked me for returning and got to business right away. Once again I was fully satisfied with the pricing, move, timing and customer service! Thank so much Radius Moving for making my life so easy !! I will use you for the rest of my life.

We used Radius for a move from Florida to Boston and could not have been more blown away by their professionalism, punctuality and speed. My husband and I have never used a moving company - and have moved over 6 times in the past 7 years to and from cities including Philadelphia, NYC, Charleston SC, and Boston. This was the first time we decided to spring for movers in all of those moves! We were extremely stressed, trying not to spend a ton of money but also making sure the job was done in a professional way. Out of all the places we contacted, they reached out to us almost immediately, got us setup with a quote and answered all the questions we had in a clear way - we had 0 doubts going into moving day and day of they arrived right on time, and moved incredibly fast. They drove through a new england blizzard 2 days before Christmas and delivered a truck full of belongings on time, and in perfect condition. The snow held them up and we were immediately able to contact the team and check in on how close they were/how weather conditions were. The front office staff was amazing in coordinating our move through these pretty crazy conditions. James always made sure he made time for us along with Shannon and Toni who made sure they kept us informed on our progress. I literally couldn't ask for more.

I could not recommend them enough - Terry and Danny were professional, kind and very good at their jobs. They worked quickly to get everything into our apartment (up two flights of stairs and in snow!) and were so attentive to keeping everything wrapped/protected during the travel time.

Worth noting that they also stayed down to the dollar on the quote they provided us - which was a much better price than basically everyone else that reached out to us. They are true professionals an very much care about the work they do. For all the stress factors that moving causes, your movers should not be one of them - and they certainly worked to make our moving process effortless and easy.

Do not use this company! The price was twice the quote. We were initially told that we would receive our items in a couple of days, it has now been 7 days and we have not received them. Our contact person has stopped taking our calls and responding to our emails. We moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, so we are now sitting in an empty apt waiting for our things to arrive, not knowing when to expect them. I will never use this company again. I would recommend that you research any company before you hire them, I regret that I didn’t take my own advise.

Had a great experience with Radius Moving and Storage. They were great I was in a jam because the movers I hired before them lied and tried to make me pay more than 4 times the amount of the bill so I was highly upset especially being pregnant and trying to move is the worst, so I called my second option radius and they were great the man in charge of the guys came in explained to me what was going on and asked me what exactly I needed done I told him he was great he made sure everything got packed and secured and I was so thankful. You don’t understand trying to move to a new state and trying to make sure me and my animals and two other children get there is stressful enough on top of being pregnant but I tell you if I didn’t have radius moving I would have been a mess thank you guys for being great to me and my family especially with my husband being in the other state trying to get the other house together for the delivery at the time. I was amazed too when they came for delivery because it was the same guys that picked up delivered and omg where they great it’s like they can read my mind and just went straight to work with everything with putting everything in its place. I can say I’m really satisfied with them moving me and my family and would let everyone know please use them because you will be satisfied.

I had a move from NJ to Fl., I had received a quote after 1 of their employees had come to my home for an estimate. this was my first time actually using a moving company normally I'd just do it myself. when the day came they had the courtesy of calling saying they were going to be late, which they were. During the loading process I had extra items that weren't on the original estimate and they were kind enough to adjust on the spot. They packed me up and a few days later meet me down in Fl. Unloaded everything, nothing was damaged and all went well, Thank god.

Totally, totally!! Last minute!! Was accommodated with every last minute detail that popped in my head, "since this was a last minute situation." The gentleman were on point worked as a team communicated so effectively they were personable, professional, and energetic.

In addition owner "Michelle" came to over see and ensure everything was done to satisfaction. Couldn't ask for a better process..

All this from a person WHO NEVER WRITES REVIEWS!! with this experience I had too!!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $850

I would have given them a negative 5 stars if that had been possible. DO NOT USE THEM. They were subcontracted by our movers to move and store. They were impossible to get hold of and talk to a person; voicemails were not always returned. Our goods were supposed to be delivered on September 1, 2022, but were not until September 11, 2022, although they did call to say they they could deliver on the 1st at 11 PM pm - ridiculous. They were rude. When finally delivered, 7 items, including a 42" TV and a media center was missing and 3 items were destroyed. Plus all the boxes came smashed, although due to my superior packing there was no real damage.No effort was made to remediate the situation and our claim was ignored. THEY WERE AWFUL.

If I could give a zero I would. This company more than doubled our price, after the truck was loaded. Then held the furniture hostage until we paid cash. Upon receiving our furniture we had A LOT of big ticket items outright stolen. What they didn't steal they damaged, some were a complete loss. Attempts to reach the owner for a resolution were unsuccessful. When trying to get my furniture delivered, the staff was INCREDIBLY ignorant and downright belligerent. Save yourself THOUSANDS, you would spend less donating your entire household items, and furniture and buying new, then using this company.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE MOVING COMPANY. I HAD A HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE WITH THEM THAT WOULD NOT SEEM TO END.

I was deceived into a contract. The person from radius movers pretended to be a guy named Mike who I had been speaking with from another company.
Payment and hidden fees not discussed

Very difficult to contact. They were 28 hours late for our pick up and could not contact anyone to figure out what happened. We finally got in contact with them and they did not know what happened to not 1, but 2 trucks they said they had sent to us. Then they made it seem like they were doing us a favor by getting us another truck for the next day.

Company and owner did not take responsibility for their mistakes and acted as if we, the customer were inconveniencing them. They messed up every step of our move. The pick up was late, the delivery was late, they broke a lot of our things, we are still missing 11 items, and their communication was horrendous.

Not professional

Took very long time to load truck and packed it loosely so they could charge more.

They continuously changed information so that when we called and said we were told something, they changed it to something us.

Said would give us money back, but would not if we did not sign a form saying we would not give them a bad review.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

They sale you a good deal, tell you that your stuff would arrive within a 3-4 day time frame just to receive your business. In all actuality what they don't tell you is that your stuff be be unloaded at there warehouse and place on another truck and stored until they can get a full truck going to your location. I waited a whole month and a half to receive my stuff. No one was communicating with me on a time frame, The rep. Tonie did not know when my things was leaving out, the owner Michele was just rude and did not answer any of my calls. When I finally received my stuff the boxes had a bad odor and I notices my boxes was re taped meaning they went through my stuff. After unpacking what I thought was everything I notice a few things missing that I packed and only way to notice they was in the boxes is that you had to unpack the box. They stole my camera and my watch collection. When I called to report it I was told they need to check the warehouse to see if it was left there and they will get back to me. Still no response. I will be filing a police report. It you are consider using there service I would advice you to look else where. I give them 0 stars and they owe me a few stars.

This was the most stressful company to deal with. First off, it took seven weeks for my belongings to be delivered (well past the 30 business days agreed to in the contract). Then, the day of delivery, the driver calls me and informs me that he was in an accident and can no longer deliver. Eventually, delivery occurred, and my expensive racing bike was missing, even though the bill of laden clearly listed "1 adult bike." The driver blamed me for not informing him that there should be an adult bike on the truck (as if its my job to call the driver and go over the inventory with him before he leaves, when the inventory clearly listed the bike). The assistant to the driver informed me the bike probably had been STOLEN. I had to contact the police and file a missing/stolen report. I contacted the owner, Michelle, and informed her that I was considering the bike stolen and calling the police. She rudely told me to "stop threatening her and no one wants to steal my bike." So, my bike is gone. Then, upon unpacking my boxes, I found that all my dishes had been shattered, and the bureau that I paid to have Radius securely wrap, was damaged. Literally run away from this company, the occasional positive review of this company isn't worth the overwhelming negatives.

DO NOT USE RADIUS MOVING!

Radius Moving is an awful company, run by a bully, who refuses to accept responsibility for any mistakes, of which there are countless, as it pertains to their contracts and customer service. Their staff, especially the owner Michelle Mediavilla, was especially nasty when confronted with anything other that passive conversation. Our contract with them was last summer, and we have exhausted every possible avenue, legally or otherwise, to try and recoup money for damages and lost items, but unfortunately there really is nothing we as clients could do.

We contacted Radius to help us move from our two bedroom, two bathroom condo in Norwalk, CT to a storage unit in Pittsburgh, PA. Their sales representative gave us their document that listed a binding estimate, ensuring us that no matter what happened (in his words, “unless you have a elephant hiding in your condo, nothing will change”), that amount of money would be what we paid. Their representative also said, despite several requests to do so, that they would not need to have anyone come out to confirm the amount of items we had. We went with them because they offered the best price. This is how they trap you; because they will just skyrocket the price later.

Upon arrival, it was quickly obvious that their sales representative had no idea how much goes into a two bedroom, two bathroom condominium. We had already filled up the allotted dimensions estimated within 3 hours of loading the truck and the condo was barely packed. The foreman contacted Michelle, the owner, and was able to negotiate a fixed price, however it was more than double what the binding estimate was. Michelle threatened us by saying our options were to pay half of this amount now, or unpack the truck. We agreed to pay hoping that we could negotiate during transport.

Two weeks passed while our property was sent to their warehouse and before everything arrived. Countless phone calls trying to contact Michelle were met with sales reps saying they left messages for Michelle, or just silence. At one point, after being on hold for 30 minutes, we tried from another phone to get in contact with someone. After explaining the fact that we had been on hold for that amount of time, the sales rep put us on hold, but did not do so correctly. We could explicitly hear someone on the other line say “if they’ve been on hold for an hour, they’re *explicative” stupid.” They immediately realized we were able to hear them and hung up. After calling back and trying to confront them, they of course denied it.

Finally, on a Sunday with less than two hours notice, Radius Moving contacts us to inform us our property would be delivered to our storage unit, and that we needed to pay the second half of our bill. At this point, Michelle is finally able to call us back, and proceeds to demean, insult, and talk down to us about how we made the mistake and she will hold our property hostage until we pay up. Not wanting to deal with this bully any longer, we reluctantly agree.

After the items were unloaded, we returned to sort through everything. We quickly found that they had damaged a good portion of it. A sharp garden tiller was placed next to our guest room furniture, completely ruining the headboard and dresser. Multiple picture frames were shattered, furniture was repeatedly knicked along with fabric torn. Our ceramic crockpot was also completely shattered. We also realized that two boxes containing kitchen items was missing. This included our wedding china, coffee mugs, water glasses, and several other items. All told, we were either missing and had damaged property worth about $3000.00. And this is after they more than doubled our original bill.

We informed Radius of this, and their only response was to file a claim with their insurance group. We did so and they said they could only award us $90.00. We explored legal action, to which Radius ignored, and at one point even returned our legal documents saying it was the wrong address (Again, Radius Moving returned legal documents mailed to them saying it was the wrong address for Radius Moving). Our lawyer said that even if Radius Moving is found guilty in court, we would not have any way to actually recoup money from them and the process could drag on for years.

Radius Moving claims to have the best interests of their clients in mind. They write it on their website. But they are liars, they are bullies, and they show no remorse for anything wrong that they have done. They cornered us into paying more than twice what they quoted us with a binding estimate, then lost most of our kitchen items, then damaged our property by neglecting to properly arrange everything in a storage unit.

Do not make the same mistake we did. DON’T USE RADIUS MOVING!
