Long-distance move from Missoula, MT to Boynton Beach, FL

Thumbs Up

From that point, they asked us which items needed special packing for any type of special treatment. They offered to pack her televisions free of charge and also gave us some complimentary boxes. We put our trust in this company, and they did right by us on every level. They were always very friendly and honest. A++ for their awesome customer service and hard work. Can’t recommend them enough.

Long-distance move from Bloomington, IN to Austin, TX

Biggest Scam, Beware! Still waiting after two months!!!

We had a move from Indiana to Texas, and were quoted a very good price, too good to be true in retrospect. The price kept changing, getting more expensive as the pick up date neared, but we had already paid a hefty deposit so we were stuck. That was only the beginning of a very bad transaction. The furniture was picked up by a no-name moving company who wanted cash at pick up, and more than was agreed upon. But what can you do at that point? So we went ahead, big mistake, it would have been better to lose the deposit we later learned. Our furniture was picked up on May 12, it’s now July 12, 8 weeks later and our goods are still in a warehouse in Chicago, and nobody can tell us when they will be delivered. Priceline has washed their hands of it, says their only responsibility was to match us up with a mover. They offered a $118refund as a gesture of goodwill. When I refused to accept that pittance, the customer service agent at Priceline became verbally abusive and told me if I got a lawyer, they will get their legal team to fight us. Now we are going to rent a trailer and move the goods ourself. But nobody will tell us the address where we can pick them up and how we can get into the warehouse. In other words, we have paid over $2500 for the privilege of storing our goods for two whole months in an unknown location with an unknown moving company who has no idea if they can ever deliver the goods. Please save yourself a lot of time and a nervous breakdown and DO NOT USE THIS DISREPUTABLE COMPANY. They are completely dishonest, you will be ripped off and lucky if you ever see your goods again.

Long-distance move from Alexandria, VA to Albuquerque, NM

Horrible untrustworthy

We contracted with Priceline, but once they got their money, they washed their hands. They sub-contracted to a crooked company Moving Forward Express, out of New Jersey.

They didn’t know what was going on. The day of pick up, they told me they didn’t have us even on the schedule to be picked up. After many phone calls they admitted it was the company they contracted with.

They would not get to the bottom of the issue of an additional $750 increase. They wouldn’t back their quote. They said that contractors will sometimes raise their prices if Priceline didn’t charge enough. At this point everything was loaded on the truck. MFE, loaders told my son that he padded the goods loaded because he had to make some money. He padded his quote by 100 cubic feet. They charged for stairs, which were included in our quote. The day before MFE arrived the raised the price by $350, because they said they had to transfer our hoods from a semi truck to a box truck. It was a lie, it was never on a semi. It had only been on box trucks. When they arrived they threatened to take our stuff to Phoenix and leave it there if we didn’t pay in cash in full. They would not unload anything. Priceline Logistics, said that we were on our own. They didn’t have any more to do with our move. MFE was so rude and unprofessional. The two drivers were cussing and threatening. One of them was yielding a 15 inch knife. The other was storming around screaming and yelling. They were wired.

This move was a nightmare from start to finish. Both companies are horrible.

Never use Priceline Logistics or Moving Forward Express. Warn others.

HORRIBLE THIEVES!!!!!

DO NOT BOOK THEM!!!! I signed a contract to move from Oregon to CA, gave them an $827 deposit, flew to Oregon to get the furniture my Aunt left me because she had just passed away.. Her house had been sold and was closing escrow and I had to be out the day after the scheduled move. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I am a senior citizen, all alone, and I am shocked that they feel they can get away with this! I called them and they said there was a "Nationwide shortage of trucks" and that if I gave them another $1000, they would find me a truck. I was in a terrible position, and all I could give them was another $500. Again, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called them crying and asked for some kind of help and they were just horrible. I had to rent a u-haul truck and move everything myself. I have been asking for my $1327 deposit back for over 2 months now and they refuse to answer my emails, calls and texts. They are simply SCAM ARTISTS and THIEVES. I didn't think people like this existed. Adam Stone was nice at first, but obviously it was just to get me to sign the contract. Then Billy Joseph, the "quality assurance" guy came next and as soon as the truck "disappeared" he became very nasty. Maria in dispatch told me my "check" was in the mail weeks ago and now she is blocking my texts. These are all HORRIBLE people who prey on unsuspecting customers and steal from them.

Long-distance move from Salt Lake City, UT to Rowlett, TX

Another example of their lies, incompetence and corruption!

My wife and I were looking for movers online, as we are moving from Utah to Texas.

We found Priceline Logistics LLC. Seemed like the best deal out there! Well, our due diligence to investigate these guys should have been done! These guys are absolutely disgusting! They stink of corruption! After what they’ve done to us (and many others – look at BBB and online reviews for nightmare scenarios), I am obviously disputing this transaction.

She placed an order with Priceline on 9/14. Upon placing the order, the representative went through the list of articles (items) that we had to move. After going through the list, she proceeded to inform them that our entire storage unit was 10×20 ft. in size. She emphasized that the unit was completely filled, and that this was the amount of stuff we needed to be moved.

The representative then transferred her to another agent to receive the price for the items we needed to move. He said that her total price would be $5,952.10. Deposit would be $2,575.21. (We have the invoice they emailed.) She also informed him of the size of the storage unit (filled with stuff) that we needed moved, after he went through the article list. Most importantly, she specifically asked him if the price would be raised at all, and he went on to assure her that it would not. Also, she asked him that if for some reason we needed to cancel, if she would lose her money. This guy assured her that she would not lose anything, if she cancelled *before 48 hours of pick-up*.

Pick-up was going to be either Saturday (9/25) or Sunday (9/26).

So, in good faith, she signed. Two (2) days after she signed, she tried to get a hold of someone regarding a few questions. We needed a specific time and date of when the truck would arrive to pick-up all of our stuff. A message was left for someone to call back. No one called back, of course.

On Wednesday (9/22), three (3) days before estimated pick-up, she received an email to verify our items. She called and someone answered this time! The agent went through the list of articles that he was showing. My wife went on to explain to him that we needed to move those articles, but that she had explained from the beginning that our storage unit size was 10×20, and the unit is full of stuff. He seemed surprised and asked if it was ok that we got rid of the original list and started a new one to include the size of our storage unit (?). It was really confusing because this should have been done from the beginning, but she agreed, so there would be no delay.

Get this, the guy then goes on to tell her that the total was actually going to be $15,000! Keep in mind, we were three days away from pick-up! She told him we couldn't do that. He put her on hold and came back to tell her that he could lower the price to $13,000. She still did not agree to that. Again, he put her on hold, and came back to say that the absolute lowest he could go was $10,000. Of course, she told him that it was still too much and that we needed to just cancel.

They would not agree to fully refund our deposit, as she was outside of 72 hours of the order? Look back on the original conversation and that was NOT what they said. All they could do was half; however, she had to sign a doc. She asked if they could listen to the original phone call. They said yes, but it had to go through a whole legal process. All of this was super shady!

No show and kept the deposit

Booked and paid a deposit to Priceline Logistics on 06/23/21 after we were assured a truck would be in our area on our requested day, 07/12/21. The move was over 2,000 miles making the deposit over $1,600.

07/06/21: Emailed the original employee that booked the move for us, about a billing question, and he also confirmed our pickup date for 07/12/21.

07/12/21: No truck arrived. Anymore emails sent by me were not addressed by anyone in the company. Voicemail is always full, so I was unable to leave any messages.

07/13/21: Received a call from Priceline Logistics that they didn’t have a truck in our area as previously confirmed. I asked for a refund, they refused. No truck ever showed up.

This is the sh*ttiest moving company EVER.

They use third world movers that admit they don't have a driver's license and if pulled over will switch places with someone else who will get ticketed. They conned me with the final price after it was too late to back out. Cost was OVER DOUBLE what the estimate was. Move should've been a wk - was over a MONTH. Long-distance move from Ladson, SC to Ottawa, KS

Underpriced quote, poor support

The movers did not load or handle my belongings with any care. They started by giving an estimate and then when they showed up told it was going to be more. They did not take everything on the estimate and still used 75% more cubit footage because they packed it so poorly. Due to poor packing, handling and storage many of my items were broken as well. They took no responsibility for any items in a box even though the boxes were completely crushed because of how they handled them. They destroyed several pieces of my furniture and called the damage cosmetic so only offered my partial value of the already insanely low value of .60 per pound. To make it better the company handling the claim took more than 120 days from filing it without any communication to me about what was happening.

Priceline is the broker, but they are still the ones that hired the movers. They are also the ones who refused to do anything when I contacted them about what the mover was doing.

Wish I could give ZERO STARS-you suck.

DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I paid a rush fee to have them pick up my things and was told they could have someone there by Wednesday at the latest. Wednesday arrives and I call them TEN TIMES, no one answered me and no movers arrived to pick up my things. Not only did I have to pay an extra month of rent for a room I no longer needed because they failed to do the job they said they would, but when I called the next day and finally got ahold of someone, they told me they could only give a 40% refund. Seriously? 40% refund for a job you didn't even do?? Worst f*cking company I've ever dealt with.

DO NOT USE PRICELINE LOGISTICS

Communication is not good. After they received my deposit, I called the numbers they provided for customer service to ask about cancelling my order and several of them were not working and four more had "full voicemails". I reluctantly decided to wait until the movers would finally schedule me to see how it would go.

The salesman Quoted me one amount, but when the drivers showed up, they tried to upsell more space. This despite the fact that I had the exact items ready which was on the original quote. Drivers told me this happens all the time because sales people under sale. Drivers left and I moved it myself for 1/3 the price.

I asked for my deposit back and nobody will even answer my call or email. Do not use Priceline Logistics!

Underestimated move by 200% then tried to triple cost move day

Beware of grossly underestimated cubic feet and then the crew that shows up on move day puts a contract in front of you for two to three times the estimate. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT Sign a contract with or pay Priceline Logistics any money up front!! Better yet, do not fall for their line and do not do business with them. On move day I could not reach my contact or anyone at Priceline Logistics at all to speak to about the crew that came trying to triple the cost. Luckily I had a quote from a reputable moving company that I was very lucky to get to do my move the next day. I don't know what I would have done if they local mover couldn't do the job. I would have been stuck unable to move and having to not hold up my end of the closing for the sale of my house!! I was cheated out of over $1,125 because I was fooled by Priceline Logistics L.L.C. They estimated my very small move at only a few hundred cubic feet when it should have been over 600 cubic feet. Then the guy that showed up said it will cost over $5,000 not in the $2,500 range. I know what the cost my move should have been because my local mover charged me only $2,800 for what had become and "emergency move". I actually didn't even have furniture other than 2 beds, a few chairs and side tables, mostly small boxes of stuff. Please deal only with a legitimate moving company and not with someone you find on the internet who is probably nothing more than a boiler room phone operation from Florida. This is a dishonest company that plays on the great time pressures and logistics nightmares people face when trying to make a move. They will try to get you over a barrel and where you have no option but to pay them an exhorbitant amount over a fair price. Luckily I had another option but I still got cheated out of the $1,125 down payment.

I had to give at least one star to write this

We got a quote and great story about how responsive they are. We’ve been unable to reach them ever since we paid our deposit. Movers arrived and demanded triple our quoted price and of course, nobody’s home at Priceline. So I guess we’ll negotiate the hostage situation with our belongings pay triple what we were quoted and never use this company again. If you’re between doing it yourself and this company, it’d be less of a headache to do it yourself.

No show company - don’t use them!

This company was helpful up until the week of our move. First, they sent a message confirming our pick up date/time and the date did not match what was listed on our contract with no reasonable explanation. Then, on the new move date, the movers did not show up. We called every phone number tied to the business and no one answered. Lack of communication, lack of customer service, and a big headache of a move. Save yourself the stress and find a different moving company.

This company is awful and they are complete scammers. After quoting us a price of $3600 to move 52 items 3 hours away they waited until the day of the move and then told us it was $4800. Con Artist

This has been a horrible experience dealing with this company. They state "Your trust is our main concern" which is a joke. My items were to be picked up in PA and taken to SC. I was told different dates for pickup and delivery. Their estimate was a lie. I had to pay more at pickup and delivery than what I was quoted even though I had fewer items. I had multiple items broken. When I tried to contact the person who was to be my contact they would not answer. I have kept a paper trail of this experience. I recommend anyone moving to stay away from this company so you do not have to experience the situation that I have.

Poor communication

They use contractors with poor communication that can’t give you an estimate but charge 1k more (check their yelp reviews) then they keep changing the dates of their pickup times and days. Their own drivers cuss and complain about their dispatch using poor communication saying it’s their drivers fault when really they won’t pick up unless their is an area near them to pick up and drop off. They lie on their deliver dates and have contractors with unprofessional drivers and dispatchers that will hold your items hostage until they have a delivery or pick up near you and it could take up to weeks. It’s been over a week since I was told I would have my stuff and dispatcher was unprofessional and said “yea I guess we are holding your stuff hostage”

Broken items, lost items, no communication, quote tripled

My moving company failed to deliver a large picture frame box. The contents of said box were 3—- THREE Mondo posters- 2 were variant art. ALL of them were limited prints and have been sold out for years. Collectively, they are worth over $1K. To me, they are priceless… like, I’m crying over this.) And I have several damaged and broken items including furniture- and the cubic feet I was charged for tripled in price after my original quote and was improperly loaded to best utilize space. They also loaded things I asked them not to load and broke hardware that was needed to reassemble furniture. I paid an exponential amount for this move. NEVER, EVER hire Smart Van Lines or Priceline Logistics. When I called Priceline after items were damaged and not properly handled they would not return my calls. When I would call main number they would route me by transferring me to dead ends. Smart Van Lines directed me to a generic looking website to register my claim- we will see if that works. If not, I’ll be hiring a lawyer. So just to advise y’all- never hire either these companies.

Switch on rates - Missing items - Poor Customer Service

I was over charged by 1688.35. $800 for 12 boxes and the rest for additional cubic feet. When I called I had definite measurements on all my boxes and items. The customer rep said, wow this is so exact. They should have the call recorded, they should listen to it. 5 of my boxes are missing, my chair wheel broke. I was also delivered an item that does not belong to me. I have called this company and emailed with the same information and I am not getting any resolution. Everyone kept saying it will be okay, dont worry the company will give your money back, this is just a process. Its not me, I just work here. I dont agree with what they do, but they always fix it, its a process maam. Same song and dance.

I also called for a quote again to test the process and received a lower amount from my original quote as well. I am sure this company does this on a regular basis. Moving is hard and this is just taking advantage of people.

1. The original cubic feet given on the phone and what was stated at pick up is a guestimate at pickup. Over the phone 353 cubic feet at $2735.65 There is an overcharge when it was picked up they said 4424. $1688.35 overcharged.

2. The person that came said they used 12 boxes and charged me extra $800 which is in the over charge amount. What materials would add up to $800 not the 12 boxes measuring at 18x18x27.

3. When I called their team member Amanda said that they would clear it up. Later called 15 other times and left messages. Covid hit them and they did not reply back until I spoke to Cathy. She said I do not have to worry. She said people who come in at the pick up make mistakes on cubic feet. I am sure this call was recorded as well.

My move was not 500 cubit feet. I gave specific measurements, listen to the call. I did not add any additional boxes or any other items. What I told the customer service person is the same at pick up. Exact measurements. My move was boxes, dressers. No bed, no coach, no appliances, nothing major. We know how to do math and my items would not add up to 500 cubic feet. We know on average a room requires 125 to 150 cubic feet once packed. a 2 bedroom apartment would approximately be 750 cubit feet.

4. Now with the delivery, my five boxes are missing. I also received someone else's item. So I am assuming my boxes are floating with some other customer. My desk chair wheel is missing as well. I am still waiting for the drop off guys (who were super nice) to still locate. They also said they would come get this piece of item back from me and send to company.

5. I have not opened all my items as the move was late. I have to take inventory of what is missing. I want my boxes back.

6. At this time I am waiting for the company to reimburse me for the 1688.35 and find my boxes.

7. I also called their customer service again to get a rate for the same items and the second quote came in even lower at 2359.19 with 311 cf.

8. I am sure if I call again with the same items the quote will again be inconsistent.

I'll give them a "D"

After waiting TWO MONTHS for our goods to be delivered, here are things we learned the hard way about Priceline Logistics: [1] They are not the movers, they are an agent who takes bookings, sets estimates and contracts, then hands it over to a subcontractor for the actual move. [2] Their customer service from that point is nearly nonexistent. At least ten attempts to ask questions via phone and email re status resulted in one response. [3] Their contract is full of finger pointing protections, resulting in zero liability worth pursuing with Priceline or their contractors when things are broken or lost in shipment. I could go on, but let's just say we will never use them again.

DO NOT HIRE PRICELINE

This company made our cross-country move, absolute Hell. They picked up on Oct. 18, 2021. Told us they would have our things delivered by Oct. 28th, 2021. They did not show up until Dec. 15, 2021. Called on Saturday night, said they would be the next day and demanded 3,000 in cash or a USPS money order. USPS is not open on Sundays, and neither are banks. Then we discovered a 9-piece custom built, from Mexico, entertainment center was missing, 2 65-inch TVs and a family heirloom gun cabinet over 100 years old. We also discovered 4 big & expensive furniture pieces that were completely forgotten by the movers and left behind. they will cost me another 1500 dollars to replace them. Oh, and we still got charged for those forgotten items. nice, huh? I filed a police report the day the semi arrived, and we noticed the missing items.

This company rarely answers the phone, when they do, they fail to accept responsibility. We have been dealing with them over our missing items since Dec. 15, 2021. We have yet to get even anywhere near a resolution. Today I filed a complaint with the BBB. Tomorrow I will be calling attorneys to sue these people. It appears a "class action" lawsuit may be something that should happen to this company. After reading all the complaints, and the theft and damage that has occurred to people's belongings, this company needs to pay for what they are purposely putting people through. For 9700.00, my things should have arrived GIFT WRAPPED!

Please DO NOT get scammed or played by these people. I do not want another person to go through what my family, and so many others have gone through.

Stay away

Do not trust this company whatsoever, they will lie to you and once you sign the contract you are trapped. THEY NOT A MOVING COMPANY, they outsource them. Which is easily something you can do on your own, I thought they were the moving company because that is what Waylon told me. I moved from Texas to Oregon and needed my items in Oregon 1 week after I scheduled the pick up. Waylon verbally guaranteed me that my items would be there on a specific date and I told him that was the most important thing to me. Come to find out the day of pick up that Priceline is not the actual mover, the quote they give you on the phone is not final and it takes up to 21 days for items to move across country. My items sat in a warehouse before arriving to my new home. Once I found out all this information I called back Priceline which no one ever picks up and it took several phone calls before I spoke to someone. The manager refused to speak with me, I asked the woman on the phone why he did not want to come to the phone and she said it was because he did not want to hear me complain. This company will only disappoint you, they should not even be in business. Their whole operation is scam.

When I tried to cancel my move a MONTH before the move, I was told I was only going to get half of my deposit back. Called Jim and Maria in customer service about 3x a week to get this fixed. Maria was constantly unavailable and rude. I had to call so often because they wouldn't take my calls. Items possibly stolen with no regard.

Started this nightmare back in September when we were trying to move out of an apartment from hell and into our new home. We tried to do uhaul, crate movers like pack rat and the like but everyone was booked up past our move out date. So we started looking at movers and i did the usual tricks to make them sweeten the deal with talking about shopping around. We got them down to what we wanted and figured we would pull the trigger. Pickup turned into a nightmare as they scammed us on the numbers almost doubling the quote after we hand counted and measured every box and pieces of furniture that we had to give them an exact amount of volume. We has to abandon my couch, nightstands and bookshelves. They even had the audacity to claim that we didn't pack any items. After screaming at them about then trying to scam us they backed off and continued the move. We asked for the delivery date to be in early November in October as we had finalized the deal on a house. Week after week I was lied to and week after week my stuff was not being delivered. It is now the middle of January and they still have no delivery date after 2 months of constant calling and asking for MY items.

It is also worth stating that the movers that they used called "Smart van lines LLC" went out of business 12/12/21 and they are unable to get ahold of the people responsible for the move.
