Long-distance move from Orange, CT to Boca Raton, FL

AN ABSOLUTE SCAM

This is a broker, not a moving company, so they ARE NOT bound by any quote or estimate. The moving company will come and demand ALIT more money for a job that you have already paid 1/3 of and renegotiate all rates knowing full well that you are packed, your travel plans are made and your lease is done or your house is sold. Try to procure a UHaul on the 30th of any month and tell me how much luck you had. The movers are found through Craigslist and I can assure you that the cost of missing, broken, shattered or destroyed goods will far exceed any price you will oay DIRECTLY TO A LEGITIMATE moving company. The contract allows your stuff to disappear for about 3 weeks while it is in an unlocked truck somewhere....so do you think that your valuables will arrive safely? Think again....but DO NOT THINK about using this Sham of a shameless and disgusting company.

Move from Colorado Springs to West Virginia

Absolutely the worst company to do business with, they lie on the amount, they lie when you pay extra for a service, they show up three days late to pick up our stuff, charge us $5K more, paid for movers to unload in West Virginia, no one showed up, held our stuff hostage inside the truck until we paid an additional $5K which is illegal! Half of our stuff was missing, delivered to other places and or stolen, stuff was left in a Denver warehouse and these guys refused to deliver, you will end up doing the work yourself anyway so save yourself the headache of dealing with this sorry ass company and do it yourself

Long-distance move from Sublimity, OR to Olympia, WA

BUYER / MOVER BEWARE of this company.

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before I arranged to have them move me out of state.

I reached out to this company for help moving out of state.

I was quoted a price, and that my credit card would be billed in 3 installments, as follows:

* when I scheduled the moving day

* when the movers loaded my belongings in the truck

* when they UNloaded the truck at our new location.

I was billed 1/3 of the cost when I scheduled my moving day.

I was billed 1/3 of the cost 2 DAYS PRIOR of the date the truck was to arrive and be loaded.

Moving day came, NO Truck arrival.

We were told “the movers are running late, they will call you with an estimated arrival time.

I made 15 calls to their “after hours staff” because we had not received any contact from the driver.

The “after hours staff” was terrible. One was giving a party, when I called. Another was asleep, and upset because I woke her up at 1 AM (her time)

We made other plans, and moved ourselves.

I submitted a “dispute of purchase” with my credit card company.

Soon after my deposit was credited back to my account, a Priceline customer service rep reached out, and said they would be calling me.

Going on day 3, and still no contact from Priceline Customer Service.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

Long-distance move from Montgomery, AL to Houston, TX

Move took forever, lost items and no compensation

This company and all their counterparts is definitely a scam. I was originally reeled in by all the great reviews but I'm almost sure now they are paid for by the experience I had. First thing, they didn't tell me it would take a month to receive my items. They also told me the items would come a certain day and these people call me on a day I had something going on saying they were on the way to my residence with no prior update. Also the price when they got there ended up being WAY more than my second quote. My stuff was missing/damaged and despite many back and forth conversations I was never compensated. The movers also ruined my carpet at my old apartment And the cost me over 1k for repairs. I do not recommend.

Zero

This company got my deposit the dispatcher sent out a truck and two men who took my things before I could tell them my deceased husbands ashes were going with me and told me they would be delivering however my stuff was unloaded and sat a week then reloaded and a crate with tools missing garden tools missing and my deceased husband’s ashes missing. I am a widow in my mid 70’s with my stuff stolen and would never give a good review. This is absolutely not over. I am contacting the Atty General ….BBB and am telling you to run not walk away . Di not use these lying thieves. Karma has a way of rearing its ugly head. The same men that loaded did not deliver my things thus another lie. Do not use these people!!

Long-distance move from Charleston, SC to Barnegat, NJ

Lesson learned

After an hour long consultation with Nathan from Priceline Logistics, he gave us an initial quote of $5800 for a 3 bedroom house move from SC to NJ. We made a deposit of 1/3. The next person we were passed to upped it by $2500, after another hour long detailed conversation. Then Moving Forward Express shows up with a too small truck. They drive 2 hours each way to their warehouse to unload some stuff into a smaller truck, and return for the rest of our possessions. Oh, by the way, that will be another $1200, in cash. After the movers leave, we discover gouges out of furniture, the wooden back of a mirror half ripped off, some broken glasses and a damaged tiffany style lamp. Price sound too good? Run away!!!

Worst experience ever!

Folks do not ever use an online Broker, especially Priceline, to move. Ever! They will give you a lowball quote to reel you in. By the time I final got the real moving company here my original quote had doubled! Priceline did nothing but get me hooked and took $4000 for doing nothing. The whole system of using an online broker is a scam. The not to exceed quote I got from an on site survey by Allied Van Lines would in the long run have been $2K cheaper!!!! I just got lured in by the scam.

Well Done

The guys that came to move me were clean cut and very professional. They worked quickly but carefully. They listened to my suggestions about how to handle certain artwork that I had and I appreciate the care they showed. It’s good to know that there are still some good responsible companies out there that care about their clients. Must hire them without any issue or problem. Wish could give them 10 stars!

Long-distance move from Medical Lake, WA to Watervliet, NY

Long distance move WA to NY

The reason for my low score review was for a couple reasons. I had a small amount to move but a long distance to go.

1st- When I first spoke with Priceline we went over everything that I would be moving. One of the bigger items that was discussed was my adjustable frame for my mattress. When I was contacted to do the quality check my quote went up around 1200 dollars. Part of this was due to me adding extra bins- 4 of them, which in the end I had the original amount quoted (the amount didn’t go down though) But the big part was that apparently my frame never made it on the original quote. The response to that was “well it happens, there’s a lot going on while we are quoting” so another words not their problem. This forced me to leave behind important items that I would have liked to have kept like my grandmothers dresser or my aunts vanity but not their problem. It was my problem because I couldn’t pay all that extra money.

2nd- I was told repeatedly ( approx. 10-15) times that they were a 5 star rated company. Well they used a 2 star company to actually do the move. I am in the process of filing a claim due to broken, missing, ruined items. My advice if you are going to use Priceline, know every little detail about your move, hang up the phone to read the quote and find out what movers they are using first or better yet go for the more expensive mover right at first since Priceline will get to that price by the end of your move so just skip the headache.

Priceline- don’t get complacent, you can do better. Oh and maybe lay off the sells pitch a little. If I had had more time I would’ve kept looking but I figured decent price I’ll take it and cut out another 3 hours of phone calls.....my mistake.

Smooth Move!

Everyone was a great help with great customer service, Dustin, he’s the one who set the whole thing up and he was so kind and so professional. Long-distance move from Mullica Hill, NJ to Venice, FL

Absolute scam

I engaged Priceline for a move from NJ to FL. I gave them an accurate list of items to be moved. I counted every box & gave them measurements for furniture. I reviewed that list a day or 2 before the scheduled pickup with their rep. They sent Green Moving Company to my storage unit. Green then scanned the storage unit from the doorway & tripled the price. After a discount, the price was only almost triple. I refused to be a victim of this extortion & called Priceline. They were no help & I refused to pay that amount, so the movers left. Priceline then refused to return my deposit. I since hired a moving company (not a broker) & got the move for a price in line with the original quote.

Awful. Movers they brokered were minimum of 4 hours late for pick up.- also has at least 37 Better Business Bureau complaints and not expecting much of my stuff to survive. Hidden or unexplained fees and then said would take only cash payment or an online payment through an app.app won’t work with bank, so trying to get full price of move, ignoring already paid hefty deposit, plus a fine at delivery. Next stop is own BBB compliant then legal advice then local media.

Awful, It's a hustle

I was quoted $2,100 after scheduling everyone on both sides I ended up paying $4,800. They were late, they load up and then hit you for more money, then hit you for tips on both ends. Broken item, the delivery person said I said I should buy better furniture. They Packed the TV for 250 dollars and it was delivered broken, I asked about the insurance they sold me. The entire experience was a total mess. Just go to a local reputable mover. Horrible experience. Stay away!

Horrible

Update: per our contract it stated ‘refund if don’t move’ and they are now choosing not to honor that. good thing we have proof and held onto our contract. will make good discovery in a civil case. we already made a complaint to BBB as many others have. I guarantee they will be shut down within a year. they are a SCAM!

they have been calling to try and get us to sign paperwork and we will not sign anything further to benefit them unless we get our money back.

Here is a review from a real person, since all their ‘good reviews’ seem to be bought or fake. Please do not trust this company. They make their money off of under quoting and then the 3rd party movers come on move day and quote another price. This is common from past reviews. The new quote you receive is much higher- ours was double what was in our contract. an increase is understandable but to double our amount from 2K to 4K when we did not add extra items is unreasonable. we decided not to move forward. good thing my family is full of attorneys and is handling communication for us moving forward as we are requesting a refund. side note: on move day only one person showed up (how does one person move heavy stuff) also very unprofessional, did not look like a professional mover at all- sketchy.

WORST MOVERS EVER

PSA! The worst business encounter I have ever had! Unprofessional, late and not responsive. Impossible to get a hold of! I AM TRYING TO HELP ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS! YOU ARE BETTER OFF MOVING YOURSELF WITH A HORSE AND BUGGY! After some investigating and talking to other customers I found out that they try to bribe people to take negative comments down! Priceline, how about you reimburse the unexpected $2,500 extra I had to spend because you under quoted me. THEY EVEN CHARGED ME FOR HOW MANY STEPS THE MOVERS TAKE TO GET UP TO MY SECOND STORY APARTMENT. Then showed up 19 days after their guaranteed date! THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!

Move from NV to AZ

This company is absolutely terrible. If I could give negative stars for their performance, I most certainly would. They started by giving me the wrong pick-up date. I had to call them when they didn't show up on the date and during the time they told me they would arrive. Deon told me that he made a mistake and that the moving company would arrive the next day between 0900-1300. The next day, when the moving company had not shown up by 1300 (and after 5 phone calls to find out where they were), I finally got a call from the movers. They didn't actually arrive until 1600. Our delivery took 2 weeks and involved me calling Priceline Logistics eleven (11) additional times and being given three (3) different ETA's, none of which were kept. On my twelfth (12th) call to them, I was told by someone named Joe Jerry, who claimed to be a manager, that he had "moved some things around" and that my delivery would arrive in a couple of hours. Knowing that my goods were coming from Las Vegas, I knew that this could not possibly be true, as the drive time from Las Vegas to Phoenix in a truck is at least 6 hours. This appeared to be yet another case of them providing inaccurate information, or flat out lying to me about my delivery. When the movers finally did arrive, they delivered all of my goods to the ground, even though my quote was for 12 stairs to the 2nd floor. My apartment complex has 17 stairs (who knows how many stairs their new place has before they move in?) and the movers told me that their boss (Jon from JD Movers in Las Vegas) wanted to charge me an additional $50 per step to bring everything up to the 2nd floor. After calling Priceline's after hours number (it was now 1900 local time) I got in touch with Kiki, who told me that she was trying to negotiate with the owner of the moving company to reduce the charge for the additional steps. She never called me back, and neither did Jon, the owner. After unloading all of my household goods to the ground, the movers left without telling me, and left everything outside. My wife and I were left with no recourse and all of our possessions on the ground to bring up to the second floor ourselves. If you want to be charged lots of $$, have to re-schedule your lives around incorrect pick-up and delivery dates/times, pay for a second floor delivery and have to bring your possessions upstairs yourself, and have to make almost 20 phone calls without anyone from Priceline calling you to update you on what's going on, then this is the company for you. If you are a sane, reasonable person who expects to be treated with respect, and who expects that a company will perform the services for which you have paid, I suggest you run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of this company and do not look back. Wesley, Deon, Kiki, Mary, and Joe (all of whom I spoke with during my many, many calls to this company) do not return calls, do not reach out to let you know what's happening, and when you do get in touch with them, virtually none of the information they provide is accurate.

Long-distance move from Yuma, AZ to Vancouver, WA

Feel like I was duped.

Initially I talked to Travis from priceline. They were the first company to contact me when I began researching movers to move from AZ to WA and I really liked talking with him. He was helpful and made me feel pretty at ease with the move, we took an inventory of all of the items to be moved and he gave me a quote of around 5k to move everything. That sounded pretty reasonable to me considering we spoke at length about disassembly and reassembly of the furniture and that there were two large tvs that would need to be moved. He said that was all included in the quote.

I went up to Washington to work and set up a new place for us to live. My wife had to set up a second inventory that was even more thorough itemizing every single thing to be moved, and counting all the boxes and sizes of boxes and furniture. This was a comprehensive list and ended up being more expensive. I had already paid 1300 dollars down to secure the move and after that second inventory they required an additional 1700 and increased the final bill by another couple thousand dollars.

When the movers arrived on the agreed upon day my wife called me in a panic because apparently the inventory and quote we were given didn't quite cover it. The tvs would cost extra to move and somehow, despite getting rid of several large items, like an exercise bike, several boxes and a pile of other things, the overall space used was underestimated by something like 300 cubic feet. Which tacked on another couple thousand dollars.

Oh and now that all the stuff was loaded they wanted 4000 bucks and they wouldn't take a card. My wife had to venmo the money and was told there would still be 1500 more to be payed on delivery. She was upset and called me at work, I immediately tried to get ahold of priceline and couldn't. I sent an email to them and was called later by the after hours person and assured they would go over everything with the management and call me the following Monday.

Monday came and went and I was not contacted by anyone.

Our stuff arrived pretty quickly to our new place which I was impressed with but when it showed up to be delivered it was mid afternoon and it was only one guy. We had a 3 bedroom apartment to be moved and once again had to find a way to venmo the money to start unloading which my wife did after being assured there weren't going to be any more surprise charges. This one guy then ended up moving everything by himself because apparently nobody else showed up. After several hours he finally had it all in and started reassembling one piece of furniture, a loft bed. This was getting on towards 8pm at this point and was getting nowhere. I get up for work at 430 am so I wasn't too keen on staying up all night with this one guy trying to reassemble all the furniture so I guess that we will handle it all ourselves, despite paying around 9000 dollars and having that included in the service.

I honestly feel ripped off. I was given a quote based on walk through and inventory where I measured everything with a tape measure and gave them the dimensions. Then my wife gave them a second inventory that went even further with almost exactly every item to be moved and somehow their quote was off by thousands. I wish I would have dug a little deeper into researching this company. I would have seen that my experience is not unique. The next time I move I will not be using priceline logistics.

I take my experience as a payment for a very expensive education on who not to use and hope this will keep others from trusting this company.

Where is our things?

Before our stuff was even picked up, we explicitly told them our availability for the delivery. They also told us that it would be 7 to 10 business days from the day of the pick up. It’s been 10 business days and they said our stuff is not even in the truck to get here yet. I’m pregnant and sleeping on an air mattress, we can’t afford to purchase everything we already have. All we want is our stuff to be delivered. I’m tired of having to call every time and get the same information over and over.

Constant Price Change

While they were more polite than anyone else I spoke with, they take advantage of COVID, with no in-person walkthrough of what you are moving, and the fact that most people do not move on a regular basis. I got on initial quote. When we had a call to confirm everything the price went up - "Oh, when you said Queen bed, we just estimated based on a mattress; you have a box spring and bedframe too?" Then, when the movers arrived in AZ, the price went up again because, somehow, it was still more than they were anticipating (we did not move a lot of stuff). At that point, though, they have you over a barrel and they know it - you don't want to pay the higher price, fine, we won't move you. And, even though we were told to have a certified check for Priceline, since it had been subcontracted out to 500Move, they couldn't accept the check, and we had to give them a credit card (which we had been told we could not do). The only reason I am not giving then 1 star is because the movers who delivered our furniture were fantastic. However, all-in-all, it was a terrible experience.

Move - OH to TN

If you are trying to move efficiently and on any sort of timeline whatsoever, I highly recommend you do not use PriceLine Logistics. My initial experience was great, the sales person was available to answer any questions, and I truly thought I was picking a great company. Fast forward to the week of the move, I had requested a Thursday pickup and Friday delivery, I was told that would not be a problem and they would pick up on Thursday to deliver Friday. This also goes along with what I was told by the sales rep, that we will find a truck going the same direction, but if one is not available they would send a truck and movers for just your things.

Come the Tuesday before I was now being told it was going to be Friday or Saturday before things were picked up. Had they told me in the beginning that a Thursday pick up was not available, I could have planned for this and not had to be out of my apartment on Friday. After going back and forth with CS they advised they would be there and have all my things out by 5pm on Friday. Come Friday at 1:40 (they were suppose to arrive between 2-5pm) I was being told that it would now be Saturday morning before they could pick up. But, to make up for it they offered to “throw in some free boxes”. Coincidentally this gracious offer was made 20 minutes before I was expecting them to pick up my things and at that point I had quite obviously packed everything.

After speaking with their customer service they told me there was nothing that could be done, but they would deliver either that Sunday or Monday. Shockingly enough, it is now Tuesday and I am just now being told that it will not deliver for another week. I am unsure of where exactly my things are or when they may arrive. Luckily, I packed a lot of my clothes in my car so I at least had clothes to wear to my new job after waking up on the floor.

This entire process has been nothing short of a pain, if this is going to be how customers are serviced it’d be nice to have known up front. They are using predatory selling techniques and blatantly lying to customers.

Worst experience ever

The worst experience in my life by far.

The movers come a day early “hurray”

Movers came on a Sunday, promised me my stuff would be there on a Thursday.

We get to Michigan from South Carolina and call the movers, there’s been a delay and your stuff is being loaded today and it’ll be there in 1-3 days

So me and my wife and two kids are in a house with nothing, no big deal we’ll tough it out. Monday comes around I call again

The trucks are delayed again it’ll be there Wednesday or Thursday. Now I get mad because my kids and myself are without anything. No big deal what are you gonna do

Call Wednesday, they don’t know when your date for delivery is gonna be they’ll hopefully have it by Friday for you.

So these people who we paid thousands of dollars for have just been jerking us around. No apologie, no let me see what I can do. Unprofessional, uncaring.

I’d hire two guys in trench coats before I’d hire this company ever again. If there was a rating less than 0 they’d have it. Do yourself a favor and do not pick them. Unless you have weeks to be without your stuff and money to blow on new things
