Long-distance move from Minnesota to Nebraska

ZERO STARS. STAY AWAY

PLEASE STAY AWAY from this company! I have been without any of my personal belongings for over a month, with no attempt made at delivery.

My main concern is the very obvious bait and switch scam that I found myself in. When I first spoke with Travis from Priceline in July 2021 to book my move from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lincoln, Nebraska, I talked through all of the furniture in my one bedroom apartment, and let him know that I would have from 20-25 boxes to pack and move. Travis let me know that the end of the summer was a very busy time of the year for them, put me on hold so that he could "find a truck" that was available, and then let me know that I was in luck, and there was a truck available for my move on August 29, 2021. He then "crunched the numbers" and told me that, based on the amount of items I needed to move, it would be a total cost of around 2,500. He told me that would be split into three payments, an initial payment to confirm my truck, a payment at the time of pick up, and a payment at the time of delivery. I agreed with that breakdown, and signed the initial contract.

Then, on Friday August 27th, I spoke with Billy who conducted my "quality assurance confirmation". Billy walked through all of the items I'd originally listed on the confirmation, and I confirmed that I did not have any additional items, and that I'd make sure that there were no more than 25 boxes. Again, Billy confirmed the original price quote with me, and I continued under the impression that, since I didn't have any additional items to add, the original quote would be my final payment.

Priceline then sent a completely separate company to pick up my items. They then demanded more than $5,000 for the move, telling me that the space my items would take had DOUBLED in size. I told them that was just not true, I did not have one single item more than I had told Priceline for my quote. I was in a total bind as I had less than 24 hours to vacate my apartment and get to Nebraska to start a new job. I felt I had no choice but to pay them for pickup and allow them to take my things. The move took hours and they caused significant damage to my apartment for which I am now liable.

We agreed on delivery on September 11th. I have been consistently calling Priceline and the third party company for updates. IF priceline answers the phone, the employees are rude, disinterested and unwilling to help. The carrier that actually has all of my belongings does not even answer the phone at all. It has now been over a month without any of my belongings or any substantive updates from Priceline, or willingness to help me. In fact, the "emergency dispatch" number they give you to call/text for updates has BLOCKED ME. How is that for customer service? I am losing all of my money trying to buy the basics so that I can get through the day, and sincerely regret calling Priceline in the first place. PLEASE take this seriously and STAY AWAY. All of my belongings are being held hostage and I have no attempts at resolution from Priceline.

Fraud

Beware!!! If you are planning to move do NOT use Priceline Logistics. My daughter scheduled her move from California to Texas

almost a month ago. When they arrived to pick up her furniture and household items, they told her it would be several hundred dollars more than the original price.

She is still waiting for the movers to arrive in Texas. We have an extremely difficult time reaching anybody on the phone and when we do The delivery date keeps getting pushed back further and further. We have also been told that they are not able to contact the driver. Most of the time they don’t answer the phone or call back, and when they do respond, they are rude and disrespectful.

We still have not heard from Priceline Logistics about where our furniture is. at this point, after digging a little deeper and doing more research from other reviews on this company I’m very concerned that her stuff is stolen as well as her money.

Broken items, lost items, no communication, quote tripled

My moving company failed to deliver a large picture frame box. The contents of said box were 3—- THREE Mondo posters- 2 were variant art. ALL of them were limited prints and have been sold out for years. Collectively, they are worth over $1K. To me, they are priceless… like, I’m crying over this.) And I have several damaged and broken items including furniture- and the cubic feet I was charged for tripled in price after my original quote and was improperly loaded to best utilize space. They also loaded things I asked them not to load and broke hardware that was needed to reassemble furniture. I paid an exponential amount for this move. NEVER, EVER hire Smart Van Lines or Priceline Logistics. When I called Priceline after items were damaged and not properly handled they would not return my calls. When I would call main number they would route me by transferring me to dead ends. Smart Van Lines directed me to a generic looking website to register my claim- we will see if that works. If not, I’ll be hiring a lawyer. So just to advise y’all- never hire either these companies.

Long-distance move from Tempe, AZ to Atlanta, GA

Switch on rates - Missing items - Poor Customer Service

I was over charged by 1688.35. $800 for 12 boxes and the rest for additional cubic feet. When I called I had definite measurements on all my boxes and items. The customer rep said, wow this is so exact. They should have the call recorded, they should listen to it. 5 of my boxes are missing, my chair wheel broke. I was also delivered an item that does not belong to me. I have called this company and emailed with the same information and I am not getting any resolution. Everyone kept saying it will be okay, dont worry the company will give your money back, this is just a process. Its not me, I just work here. I dont agree with what they do, but they always fix it, its a process maam. Same song and dance.

I also called for a quote again to test the process and received a lower amount from my original quote as well. I am sure this company does this on a regular basis. Moving is hard and this is just taking advantage of people.

1. The original cubic feet given on the phone and what was stated at pick up is a guestimate at pickup. Over the phone 353 cubic feet at $2735.65 There is an overcharge when it was picked up they said 4424. $1688.35 overcharged.

2. The person that came said they used 12 boxes and charged me extra $800 which is in the over charge amount. What materials would add up to $800 not the 12 boxes measuring at 18x18x27.

3. When I called their team member Amanda said that they would clear it up. Later called 15 other times and left messages. Covid hit them and they did not reply back until I spoke to Cathy. She said I do not have to worry. She said people who come in at the pick up make mistakes on cubic feet. I am sure this call was recorded as well.

My move was not 500 cubit feet. I gave specific measurements, listen to the call. I did not add any additional boxes or any other items. What I told the customer service person is the same at pick up. Exact measurements. My move was boxes, dressers. No bed, no coach, no appliances, nothing major. We know how to do math and my items would not add up to 500 cubic feet. We know on average a room requires 125 to 150 cubic feet once packed. a 2 bedroom apartment would approximately be 750 cubit feet.

4. Now with the delivery, my five boxes are missing. I also received someone else's item. So I am assuming my boxes are floating with some other customer. My desk chair wheel is missing as well. I am still waiting for the drop off guys (who were super nice) to still locate. They also said they would come get this piece of item back from me and send to company.

5. I have not opened all my items as the move was late. I have to take inventory of what is missing. I want my boxes back.

6. At this time I am waiting for the company to reimburse me for the 1688.35 and find my boxes.

7. I also called their customer service again to get a rate for the same items and the second quote came in even lower at 2359.19 with 311 cf.

8. I am sure if I call again with the same items the quote will again be inconsistent.

Long-distance move from Travelers Rest, SC to Richland, WA

I'll give them a "D"

After waiting TWO MONTHS for our goods to be delivered, here are things we learned the hard way about Priceline Logistics: [1] They are not the movers, they are an agent who takes bookings, sets estimates and contracts, then hands it over to a subcontractor for the actual move. [2] Their customer service from that point is nearly nonexistent. At least ten attempts to ask questions via phone and email re status resulted in one response. [3] Their contract is full of finger pointing protections, resulting in zero liability worth pursuing with Priceline or their contractors when things are broken or lost in shipment. I could go on, but let's just say we will never use them again.

DO NOT HIRE PRICELINE

This company made our cross-country move, absolute Hell. They picked up on Oct. 18, 2021. Told us they would have our things delivered by Oct. 28th, 2021. They did not show up until Dec. 15, 2021. Called on Saturday night, said they would be the next day and demanded 3,000 in cash or a USPS money order. USPS is not open on Sundays, and neither are banks. Then we discovered a 9-piece custom built, from Mexico, entertainment center was missing, 2 65-inch TVs and a family heirloom gun cabinet over 100 years old. We also discovered 4 big & expensive furniture pieces that were completely forgotten by the movers and left behind. they will cost me another 1500 dollars to replace them. Oh, and we still got charged for those forgotten items. nice, huh? I filed a police report the day the semi arrived, and we noticed the missing items.

This company rarely answers the phone, when they do, they fail to accept responsibility. We have been dealing with them over our missing items since Dec. 15, 2021. We have yet to get even anywhere near a resolution. Today I filed a complaint with the BBB. Tomorrow I will be calling attorneys to sue these people. It appears a "class action" lawsuit may be something that should happen to this company. After reading all the complaints, and the theft and damage that has occurred to people's belongings, this company needs to pay for what they are purposely putting people through. For 9700.00, my things should have arrived GIFT WRAPPED!

Please DO NOT get scammed or played by these people. I do not want another person to go through what my family, and so many others have gone through.

Stay away

Do not trust this company whatsoever, they will lie to you and once you sign the contract you are trapped. THEY NOT A MOVING COMPANY, they outsource them. Which is easily something you can do on your own, I thought they were the moving company because that is what Waylon told me. I moved from Texas to Oregon and needed my items in Oregon 1 week after I scheduled the pick up. Waylon verbally guaranteed me that my items would be there on a specific date and I told him that was the most important thing to me. Come to find out the day of pick up that Priceline is not the actual mover, the quote they give you on the phone is not final and it takes up to 21 days for items to move across country. My items sat in a warehouse before arriving to my new home. Once I found out all this information I called back Priceline which no one ever picks up and it took several phone calls before I spoke to someone. The manager refused to speak with me, I asked the woman on the phone why he did not want to come to the phone and she said it was because he did not want to hear me complain. This company will only disappoint you, they should not even be in business. Their whole operation is scam.

DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY. They are running a scam. Worked with Jim to schedule the move. Put down a deposit. Jim put in my contract that I could cancel for a full deposit refund up to 5 days before my move. When I tried to cancel my move a MONTH before the move, I was told I was only going to get half of my deposit back. Called Jim and Maria in customer service about 3x a week to get this fixed. Maria was constantly unavailable and rude. I had to call so often because they wouldn't take my calls. Finally was told a flat out that Jim did not have the authority to offer me a full deposit refund, even after I talked to someone in the billing/finance department. Repeat: DO. NOT. USE. THIS. Items possibly stolen with no regard.

Started this nightmare back in September when we were trying to move out of an apartment from hell and into our new home. We tried to do uhaul, crate movers like pack rat and the like but everyone was booked up past our move out date. So we started looking at movers and i did the usual tricks to make them sweeten the deal with talking about shopping around. We got them down to what we wanted and figured we would pull the trigger. Pickup turned into a nightmare as they scammed us on the numbers almost doubling the quote after we hand counted and measured every box and pieces of furniture that we had to give them an exact amount of volume. We has to abandon my couch, nightstands and bookshelves. They even had the audacity to claim that we didn't pack any items. After screaming at them about then trying to scam us they backed off and continued the move. We asked for the delivery date to be in early November in October as we had finalized the deal on a house. Week after week I was lied to and week after week my stuff was not being delivered. It is now the middle of January and they still have no delivery date after 2 months of constant calling and asking for MY items.

It is also worth stating that the movers that they used called "Smart van lines LLC" went out of business 12/12/21 and they are unable to get ahold of the people responsible for the move.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY - PRICELINE LOGISTICS

They will tell you anything but nothing is true. One of their sales people, Nick Rose, wanted to facetime me and show me their trucks (which were safebound moving and storage). He told me to go with them because they had trucks and movers, complete lie. Safebound moving and storage is in the same commercial building but no affiliation with them what so ever. Tried to get out of contract and lost the majority of my money. Worst company ever. Nick Rose is the most unethical person. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE TELLS YOU. SCAM ARTISTS

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!

These people are scammers and liars; all the bad reviews are 100% true to the T. The offer great service at a low price, always super friendly and amicable when you first talk to them. However, they are a scam. They gave me a great quote and I asked them to hold off on charging my card bc I needed to make sure I had a more accurate list of my stuff; they agreed (by they I mean Nick Rose, which I now assume is a fake name). 2 days later I see a charge for almost a thousand bucks on my card, so I call and call but they never answer. I email the guy multiple times, no reply. I email once again, w/ more threatening language and he answers saying that he’s been trying to call my phone and I don’t pickup; I let him know I have NO Voicemails or email replies. I ask him to refund the money and he agrees, tells me “Friday is refund processing day”. 2 fridays some and go, no refund. I email again and he assures me it’s coming.. 2 more Fridays. Then, the date of my move comes and I get a call from someone else stating they’re picking up my stuff at 10 am. I let them know that pickup should have been cancelled, and he states it wasn’t. I say “well don’t show up, I don’t need you, I used a different company and this should have never been scheduled”. Then a woman calls me and says that I never cancelled, I reply that I never actually booked this and im pending a refund. I let her know who I spoke to and send a copy of the emails.. she states that “per the contract” I needed to email a separate department to make sure this move was cancelled. I let her know I never signed a contract and she states that my husband signed it - of course my husband assures me he DID NOT sign it, but it is HIS credit card that they charged. However, my husband doesn’t even know how to login to pay his CC, I handle ALL of our accounts so I know for a fact he didn’t electronically sign a contract behind my back. I ask to see the contract and she says she’ll email it to me - no email ever arrived. I reach out again, and again..but no one ever answers to calls me back. I email Nick against and again and he no longer is responding to my emails. Finally I gave up and I contacted our credit card company to file a fraud claim. They were amazing and issues a “payment dispute”, and will be handling the matter for me from now on. This is why I love and always recommend Discover Card. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY.

Priceline movers scam

Called to move a 4 bedroom 2 bath 26-2800 Sq ft home, they quoted 12,500 I gave them 5400 deposit, they arrived with 1 -26’ “ uhaul truck”, and one man at 9 am, said they had 2 more men on they way, then said it was going to cost another 6K And wanted me to sign a new contract. I told them no, and to leave my property, I called to request a refund and was told I was threatening them. I’m not threatening them.. I’m promising them I’ll take them to court! And I put this true story all over the internet, as I have 3 witnesses and 2 more movers from another company that said they (Priceline movers) do this regularly.

Poor service and they used horrible movers.

There is a lot of fake reviews on here. Price line is a broker not a mover. They will put your move out on some sort of system and get” best “ bid out there, in my opinion it’s the lowest and cheapest. The move from Arkansas to Nevada and it was done in April 2021. It’s now 2022 and I’m still waiting on my property. I have filed a complaint with the FMCSA against price line and lightning speed movers about this in august 2021. Just too many scammers out there, if at all possible just do it your self and save the headache.

Didn't Even Move Everything, Broke What They Did

I used Priceline Logistics in August, and just came across my original quote cleaning out my email inbox. First of all, to be totally clear: Priceline is not a shipping company, it is a brokerage company that works with the cheapest movers they can get, regardless of quality. I went with them because they quoted $500 each for shipping two vehicles in addition to my furniture and belongings. Got off to a great start with the movers picking up a day late, then scamming my mom out of a several-hundred dollar "tip" on top of the inflated fees, threatening to take all of the items already quoted for otherwise. At least those movers actually got booked, though. I called Wesley and his various salespeople more than a dozen times over the next several days to inquire about the vehicle shipping (and the regular shipping, which arrived a day and a half after the end of the range specified in the quote, with all but one box smashed, and furniture damaged) was rare to actually speak with someone, and every one of their voicemail boxes was always full, so it was never possible to leave a message either. I never got a straight answer, though Wesley did tell me he had promised a pickup at the end of September, rather than August, then in October. It is now the middle of March, and I've since gotten one vehicle shipped on my own, by a different company. Fortunately, I was just moving out of my parents' house; had I been moving at the end of a lease or selling a home, I'd have been stuck with a whole mess of fees and problems stemming from their delays.

Overall, shoddy service, terrible subcontracted movers (with the exception of the last one, who was extremely apologetic and polite, and explained everything was already damaged when he picked it up), and a horrible time getting gaslighted regarding promised services and pickup and delivery times.

Express dissatisfaction

The worst moving company ever!

At the first the guy who gave us a quote lied about everything. Then nobody accepted any responsibility about it! We asked him to drop off a box in front of our house so we’ll load it ourselves. He said that if we pay 100 bucks more instead of $2500, they will load and unload for us and we can have our stuff in 6 days. But after loading the truck driver gave us a bill of $4,000+!!!!

Also we realized that the company doesn’t even carry boxes and they only have trucks with driver for moving!

Also contractor was lier and lazy. After loading, one of them told us that they can’t deliver in 6 days (the time that they told us from company) and it always takes something between 1 to 30 days. Then after more than 30 days we realized that our stuff are in a warehouse in California instead of our house in Texas!!!! Actually I don’t even know who allowed them to put our stuff in a warehouse and after more than 4 weeks they tell us “we’ll hopefully come next week” and there were no clue that they would come, and they didn’t come!

At last after 63 days they brought our stuff with no one for unloading and we had to hire two people and paid $200 for that while it was in our contract that they should load and unload by themselves.

After all these awful circumstances we took out everything from the boxes and there were a few broken things including our vacuum, more than two large fragile dishes, a large plastic box which contained some broken stuffs as well and more…

After thousand times calling the Price line company and contractor, and even sent an email (that they told us to send it) about the damage cost and attached all of damaged stuff photos, they don’t give a sheet about none of the issues above and still no action from them!

The company must refund all money we have already paid plus a loss for their lying and delay and damages.

If they don’t, I swear that I will advertise them negatively everywhere and any time.

Crooks

So right after hurricane Ida, where almost all of my belongings were destroyed, I decided to relocate to Arizona. I needed a way to move my stuff that survived. I contacted priceline logistics. They got me a really good deal and a huge discount because of the hurricane.

About 4 days after I made my reservation I was discussing the move with my live animal transport guy who was coming across an issue with being double booked during the time I needed my transport and the only way he would be able yo swing it is if I paid a little more to cover the other trip that there were supposed to do. I told him the only way I would be able to afford it being that I had just lost almost everything was if he could also move my remaining belongings which they agreed they could do. So I call and cancel my reservation with priceline logistics, I was informed that by canceling my reservation I would be forfeiting 1/2 of my $650 deposit. I agreed, they sent over the docusign for the cancelation and was told that my 1/2 of the deposit would be returned to my account in 7 -10 business days.

A couple weeks had passed I contacted them and was told that it wasn't going directly back to my account that it was coming in the form of a check and that it had been sent out. A month goes by and nothing, so I call them and get bounced between a few people and then was told there was an error in the system and that it hadn't been sent yet but was going out the following Monday. So another month goes by and still nothing.

So I call them again where I am getting bounced around between multiple people yet again but this time to be told that my refund of the 1/2 of my deposit was denied. Denied for what I asked? And I was told the owner of the company has the final say and he denied it.

So here I am going through a hurricane that destroyed almost everything I owned, killed multiple of my animals, relocating across the country spending every penny I had left to have this company steal my hard earned money when they did absolutely nothing to earn that money. This company is full of thieving crooks. I would warn anyone trying to do business with this company to look into other options. I would give this company 0 stars if it would allow me. And honestly had I read the reviews on this company prior I would never had attempted to do business with them. The reviews from many have had the same issues. Like how can a company get away with this? They need to be charged with theft!!

Bait and Switch

Is there a way to give negative stars? We were contacted about our move from NY to CA, gave explicit details about our stuff, how much we had and got a quote, the guy we spoke to said "I am going to over estimate the space you are going to need just so we are sure to get all of your stuff." Great! (so we thought)... the day of our confirmation call arrived only for Freddy W. to be extremely rude to both of us and act like it was our fault the estimator severely underbid our move. He stated that we could cancel but we would be charged even though it was a total bait-and-switch. The new estimate was almost double the first one. We already put over $3000 down so we felt stuck. Freddy ASSURED us that this new estimate was MORE THAN ENOUGH space... Day of the pick up and nothing is how they described. Subcontracted to some poor guy that wasn't given information, wasn't told to bring moving blankets (we ended up sending him money to purchase some), and then tells us that the space we had reserved wasn't enough and there would be ADDITIONAL charges! We are paying an obscene amount to have our stuff brought over all because this company can't tell the truth or give a strait answer. I don't expect anything for free but I do expect that if you tell me one price and it's incorrect that the following price is the correct one. Not having the price go up and up and up with no ability to cancel without penalty. This company is horrible and I would never recommend it to anyone ever. I sincerely hope others read this and I hope that someone shuts this place down...

As they left my house they driver hit the fence and did over 800.00 worth of damage to the house I just sold. the Mover would not give me the truck insurance but kept giving me the insurance for my property on the truck. Which after 3-4 months they said the insurance does not cover the fence. I had to pay for the repair myself. I stopped in Las Vegas to discuss this with the Company owner I had the address on the list of items they gave me and there was no warehouse at that location. I called the Las Vegas police and said this is a very common complaint but it is a civil issue.

and the truck was two weeks later arriving at my new house and required MORE money than agreed even though they did not have all the furniture that the original agreement included. I left alot of belongings I needed in my new home.

Upon arrival The Russian man was very aggressive when asking for the extra money or I would not get my belongings. I am a 65 year old woman and that was unnecessary. they were not careful getting things in the house and damaged my house and furniture.

I was told that my motorcycle would be crated. They covered it in busted up cardboard boxes. I said no, get my bike off the truck and they said It would cost me $500.00 to unload it.

They take total advantage of the situation!

Long-distance move from Malabar, FL to Los Angeles, CA

Good Moving Service !!

My landlord gave me a short ultimatum to shift from the house. I just had 2 days to pack and dismantling. I called the Priceline Logistics and asked them for booking. They send 4 workers which not only helped me in packing also loaded all my luggage carefully and also helped me in re assembling it. All the 10 points for the co-operation.
