Long-distance move from Quebec to Prince Edward Island

Does not recommend

This is the WORST experience I've ever had with a moving company.

My container has not arrived yet after TWO WEEKS of delay. They were supposed to ship my container from Montreal To Vancouver, received around 5K CAD upfront, and the final pickup date has been delayed for more than 4 times. Last time I logged into my account the pickup date was updated to TBD. Their excuses include: 1- Due to bad weather 2- Your truck has been broken? 3- The original carrier backed out 4- Snow again!

UNBELIVEBLE! My whole life is in that container and I had to buy many of them again to continue my normal life while waiting for my container to arrive, which costs me a lot.

The customer services are also very bad, they don't have much information to share with you and always need to double check with the logistics to give you an update on where your container might be (which they never told me)

Hi, Vida! Let’s chat! Please email socialmedia@pods.com with your customer ID so we can take a look at your account and see how we can help. Generally, we recommend planning all stages of your move upfront, or as far in advance as possible, to ensure your desired service dates are available.

Billing and customer service is horrible!

Erroneously charged $1825.80. Called customer service twice now and was told (the first call) within 24 to 48 hours the charge would be removed. Guess what? It cleared my account. The second call was a no win situation. I asked speak to a supervisor or manager...none available and no phone number to contact one. The customer service rep refused to remove me from autopay and could not and would not reimburse my lost $$$. Awful service! Run far far away from this incompetent company!!

False charges for an empty unit

I rented a storage unit in Dec 2020, they picked up my unit in February 2021 and took it to storage, when I found a house they told me they didn' t deliver there- just less than 50 miles from where they picked it up! THen i had my movers pick up my contents of the pod at the storage facility- and emptied it. they since have said that i owed them for 4 months of storage - and billed me over $600, and sent a collection agency out to collect. The unit was empty since February and they even sent me a letter asking if it was okay to sell the contents of the unit - I said sure!! having my moving company come up to there storage place and unload the Pod then re-load it on their truck then drive it down to my new house in Shelton WA, and unload it again cost me over $2,000.-- I have tried to reason with this company and claim that it wasn't my fault that they locked it back up !

HORRIFIC….Still no pod

Worst experience from beginning to…oh wait it’s not the end.

I packed my pod in August 2020 to store in Massachusetts because I didn’t know where I was landing or when. Paid my monthly fee and thought all was well when I called up in February 2022 to relocate my pod to Georgia.

I was giving them ample warning. I’d say 6+ weeks to deliver my pod to Georgia April 1, 2022.

My pod account said it would ship March 23 with a delivery of April 1.

On March 31, I started to get worried when I saw no updates to my online account. Nor did I see my April 1 delivery. (Actually to date my online account still asks me to schedule my delivery).

I was told it was scheduled for April 1, and to check back after 6pm for my delivery window. Seems easy. Called back after 6pm and told my window was 1-4pm.

I spent the morning running errands and getting ready for the delivery. Did I mention that I had scheduled movers to unpack the morning at 8am. They even confirmed via text with a proper introduction. Wow.

At 12:18pm on April 1, less than an hour from my delivery window starting, I received a muffled voicemail that there was a delay and pod would not be delivered.

Confused and upset I called right away. The customer service agent was beyond obnoxious. She told me there was a note in my account stating the truck had broken down in PA (she didn’t know where PA was) and my pod would be delivered Tuesday, April 5. In four days. What?????!!!!!

I said why did anyone ever confirm a delivery window if my pod truck had been delayed in PA. That is VERY far from Georgia. I was upset, it went silent and she promptly put me back in the general queue. Yup.

The next agent was nicer, and I sadly believed her, that my pod would be delivered Tuesday April 5. I told her I could not wait that long. I had nothing. She ‘checked’ to see what could be done and came back saying they can deliver Monday , April 4. Bad but fine.

She even told me I could stay at a hotel and fry reimbursed. I doubted that so went to a friends for two nights.

I did receive an email after that call saying changes were made to my online account.

On Sunday, April 3, I start check the website. Still nothing past the initial plan to move the pod back in March 23.

I call at 6pm per their instructions. ‘No delivery is attached to the account record’. WHAT???!!?!!?

I click all the buttons to reach a human. She’s nice but I’m feeling less than confident in her kind replies. She says the system shows my delivery scheduled for April 4. I say it says nothing online. She says the system says April 4.

She will try to see if the delivery windows are set. I expect her to put me on hold but rather she hums and shuffles some papers around. I mean at least fake ‘looking for the delivery plans’. She tells me over and over the computer says it’s scheduled.

She tells me the warehouse is closed sundays (um so how could the warehouse work on schedules). She tells me to keep checking my account. She tells me I’ll get an email

Overnight. She tells me to call at 7am if I hear nothing. Again, WHAT???!!!

I have this awful feeling they don’t know where my pod is. That I may never see my pod again. That I’ve spent a monthly storage fee for two years and will ultimately never see my pod again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible service from start to finish. How on earth do you not know where a pod is that you are responsible for. They BROKE the contract. Horrific experience all around.

Garbage company

This company has been terrible from the beginning. They began by getting my address wrong. Then they sent an extra pod on the wrong day. Then they charged me almost double. They have been "looking into it" for 2 weeks now with no change. Finally they had asked for me to click on a rental agreement. Not knowing this had to be done before the end of service, the next email I got was that my order (which was already picked up last week) was cancelled. They are now saying it will take another 2 weeks to deliver my stuff. They are literally terrible and it is shocking that a company that is run so poorly can stay in business.

Delayed shipment, poor communication, customer service lackluster

There were multiple points that PODS made errors, the first of which was scheduling our delivery on a weekend day and not realizing it, which pushed our delivery out 5 days. They then no showed for that delivery with no communication. Every time I’ve called I speak with a different person that doesn’t care to resolve the issue and doesn’t follow through on my request for written confirmation. My request to dispute the charge of over 7k due to their errors and the inconvenience of delay was put in a queue for 3 days, we will

See what the outcome of that is but I am not optimistic. Very frustrating and no one has made any attempts to go out of their way to provide service or acknowledge or provide any reparations for the fact that we have been living without our things for an extra week.

Lost POD

Horror and disbelief. PODs has admitted that they cannot find my POD. All of my belongings are or were in there. They don't care and have no intention of rectifying their mistake. They are impossible to work with and the majority of customer service agents lie, stall, avoid or simple hang up. Avoid PODs at all costs. It's not worth it. Logistics

I have a call into a pods supervisor and have not heard back. I had 2 pods in macon ga. I asked for delivery to my home 60 mi away in greensboro ga. They said it was a long distant move so they had to take it to another storage in augusta 120 mi from macon and then delivering to my greensboro ga address 75 mi from augusta costing me an extra $1500. So they travel an extra 200 mi and charge me more money. What sense does that make? Please respond. I am very upset. Thank you

PODS Buffalo Office Never Open; PODS Refuses Access To Our POD

We scheduled to access our POD at their Buffalo, New York location on Thursday, May 19th. Their website confirmed the POD was at their Buffalo warehouse and would be accessible early Thursday morning. We drove from Toronto to Buffalo (about 2.5 hours) and arrived just before 3:00 PM, long before their office should be closed...

...and the office was dark, cold and locked. No one was there. It appeared as if no one had been there in days. We called the 1-800 number and they refused to contact the Buffalo office. We called again; the second agent helped us and was baffled when no one at the Buffalo office picked up the phone. He told us our POD would be accessible the next day (Friday May 20th).

We had driven so far and needed access to our POD, so we stayed at a hotel in Buffalo. The next day, the same thing occurred. No one at the facility, as if it had been abandoned. Again, we were promised this was unusual and that we could return Saturday to access our POD.

On Saturday, May 21st the SAME THING occurred. We then escalated it and requested to speak to a District Manager. The agent PROMISED a District Manager would call us that same day.

The District Manager never called.

It's now Sunday May 22nd. We've been stuck in Buffalo, New York for four days. We still can't access our POD. No one in authority will call us back. We have no proof that anyone works at their facility. We've been there twice; stacks and stacks of PODs but no people. And everyone we speak to insists this is unusual but no one seems capable of solving the problem.

We're frustrated! We're trying to deposit a few items into our container before we begin a three month summer vacation. Currently, I'm so angry, baffled and frustrated by their unprofessional behavior.

PODS you need to do your job and CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY. SOLVE OUR PROBLEM. REIMBURSE US FOR OUR EXPENSES HERE IN BUFFALO. AND HELP RESTORE SOME FAITH IN YOUR COMPANY!

PODS - MOST PATHETIC SERVICE AND COMPLETELY FRAUD COMPANY

PODS - MOST PATHETIC SERVICE and COMPLETELY FRAUD COMPANY

This is my First experience with PODS and they have made it my last experience with PODS. My PODS 16 foot container was picked up from source on June 30 and supposed to be re-delivered at destination on July 14 and I never got my container re-delivered. This is a long distance 1000 miles move with where move cost is close to 4k USD. I will explain my feedback on different factors below for their CORRUPT and FRAUD service.

Delivery Schedule – They had provided maximum promised date Timing of July 14 (for re-delivery at destination) when I made my booking. On July 12, I received email that says make some space for your container and driver will message you for exact time schedule for re-delivery on July 14. Based on their email, I booked moving helpers that would unload the container. Now on July 13 afternoon, I get an email that my delivery date has been changed to July 19. Now when I call customer service team, they are not able to provide any surety that it will be re-delivered on July 19. So on the very last moment they shifted my delivery date by 5 days and screwed up all my plans causing a lot of inconvenience and hardship for me and my family. Also wasted money in cancelling helping team for unload and all other plans I had scheduled. PODS is not able to keep track of delivery schedule until the last moment and make your life completely uncertain.

Cost – When I booked PODS, I was getting lots of cheaper options to move my stuff but I went with PODS with higher quote assuming they would be on time and keep my stuff safe. All that never happened and instead I have been facing extreme inconvenience now since they are not ready to deliver my container. All the extra money I put for booking PODS is wasted now. This is the MOST PATHETIC company I have ever seen.

Customer Service – ZERO customer service. You can call them, chat with them but no one will help you for anything. The complete customer service team is so insensitive since they have no answers and no resolutions for your complaints. I have been calling PODS every day since July 13 wasting atleast 1 hour daily on call with them explaining everything again from ground zero and no one would help for anything. They always mention that a Specialist is assigned to your case and they will call back and no one over calls me back.

Called them on July 13, they mentioned someone would call me in 24 hours – No one called me back.

Called them on July 14, now they mention someone would call me in 48 hours – No one called me back.

Called them again on July 15, now they say someone would call me within 1 week.

This kind of Customer Service is completely ridiculous and very frustrating.

Tracking – So when I call customer service team, they do not have any whereabouts of where my container is exactly. Every time they would simple mention that it is in transit or they would mention that it is between source and destination. This feels like going back to stone age when you are not even able to track your own containers. The most funny part is when the guy who delivered the container initially at source very confidently said that “ You know you can do real time tracking of your container and just call the customer service”. Their own guys are providing false-information about tracking which do not even exists. I am afraid that they have lost my container since they have no answer where my container is located currently.

Payments – They deducted final payment from my credit card on July 14 and then I had to call and chase them to revert my final payment since they were not delivering on July 14. Overall, they keep charging your card without your consent once they have your credit card information. You have to fight back a lot for incorrect payments that they keep on putting on your credit card.

Long story short – This is the MOST PATHETIC and CORRUPT company you will ever come across. People working there are INSENSITIVE and would never help you once they have taken your money. Do not trust them for your valuables and for moving. PODS is FRAUD and is a complete nightmare !!!

If I could put zero stars I would.

I am writing to let you know that I will NEVER use your service again. The first time I used it I was completely satisfied...that was why I chose your company a second time. Unfortunately my second experience was much worse. My container was dropped, HARD, so much so that many items were smashed! I filed a claim as instructed thinking your reputation would carry over. It did not! I was informed that thousands of dollars of smashed damage was caused by ill packing! What a joke. I am a tetris packing queen. I watched all the videos and packed it perfectly! I know it was dropped on the left side because the feet were missing and the delivery guy had to replace them. I used this company again to guard my belongs that are now ruined!

Shame on you for this.

I will tell anyone who will listen to NOT use PODS!

I am disgusted by you.

Miserable Experience

They cancelled dropping off all of our stuff without contacting us at all. After calling every day for nearly a week, they finally agreed to deliver it on the last possible day that we needed our stuff by, which was more than two weeks after it was scheduled to be delivered. Then they didn’t pick up the empty pod filling our driveway for over two weeks.

We filed an incident report to request compensation for them not fulfilling their end of the bargain. Have called six or seven times over the course of more than a month to ask about the status of that incident report. Every time we’ve been told that someone will contact us in a few days. We have yet to receive any communication from them.

Booked our POD with a guaranteed delivery date of June 15th. We call on the 14th since we have gotten no confirmation about our POD, turns out they have canceled our delivery without telling us and now they cannot get us our POD for over 10 days. Pods Driver

I gave PODS a 3 star because it has been pretty good until the last driver came. Unfortunatly a kennel had been dropped off at our house while we were at work and it was sat in his way. I understand this is not his job to move but when you pulled my 18 year old 125lb child out there and got her to move itbyherself while you just watched. That is what I have a big problem with! Not many people today take the inititive to go above and beyond in their jobs and it makes for bad business

Terrible Company

This company loves to tell you they will do things, and do the exact opposite !! First, I was told I would not be charged an amount of $295. Then I'm told I have to make that payment of $295 for them to pick up the POD.. After making the payment, they said I would be refunded in 7-10 business days. THAT WAS SEPT 3RD I DO BELIEVE. A MONTH LATER, I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY !!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I will never be using this company again, will tell everyone I know that this company is nothing but a bunch of liars, and thieves. Trying to take a couple hundred here, and there.. Hoping the customer won't notice they're being charged extra. Well, I work in Car Sales, and hate to break it to ya... I'm pretty good at working, and looking in the gray. And you're not getting over on me. So I'd greatly appreciate my refund, as I was told was already approved, WEEKS AGO.

Do NOT use PODS!

It's been 16 days and still our POD has NOT been delivered, yet, payment in full was received BEFORE scheduling our delivery. Every day we call and are given a different story of why or where our POD is. We are in TX. We were told it was in San Antonio and this is where the original delivery would originate from (2.5 hours from our new home). When that delivery day came and went with no delivery of our POD, we called were told they were "trying to locate our POD." A few days later, we were informed it was located - in Pittsburgh, PA! Finally, we were told it would be delivered last night. This morning, NOTHING. We called, again and were told they could not "find our street." There was no phone call from the driver. We were then asked by PODS customer service to send us a "Pin Drop" in an email to them. A simple Google search of our address would have given both their driver and customer service the exact location. We then sent the email, called PODS Customer Service and told "it takes about an hour for emails to come through" so they STILL could not confirm if there would be a delivery. We were also told we would get a credit, but that has also been MIA...maybe it's with our POD.

Charges for unused services

We ordered a large pod we were told to pay 516.70 Dec 6th 2022 we did on January 2nd I reached out by email asking them to come get their pod no reply January 6th they tried withdrawal 269.70 from my bank which my bank blocked payment request. I talked with 2 different reps on January 7th 2023 1st one hung up on me when I said I'm not paying more money for a container I just paid 516 on then another agent got on threaten me if I didn't pay they take our stuff so I again told them come get your pod she continued to be rude and demanding payment for more money for something we didn't even use, the city we are moving to needs permits for this container so we request them to come get it and this is how they want to do business by threatening you if you don't give them more money well wrong person to threaten they will never get additional money from us that is a guarantee, and I reached out to the better business bureau and filed a complaint against them with detailed information of what we paid and emails request them to pick up their container along with the 2 agents conversation with me including them threaten me. If anything they owe us a refund I could have been as ignorant as them and said if you want to threaten me with taking our stuff you will never see that container again, but I didn't I'll use my attorneys if need be but the better business bureau is aware of this and now as well as the attorney General. You don't treat Customers this way and threatening me was their 1st mistake, don't use this company for anything you be better off using someone else,

Horrible experience

Do yourself a favor and heed all of the terrible reviews that you see. I thought it would be great to have a container delivered to my doorstep to pack at my leisure and have it driven across the country and I can unpack. I can't even get my stuff delivered now! So far I've been on the phone for hours trying to get this resolved. I have two containers, I called to schedule delivery from Washington to Texas everything was set up it seemed. I needed to pay $5851 for the move. They tried charging my card and it got declined, come to find out I have a $3,000 limit as they kept trying to charge different amounts until it finally went through for $3,000. I got an email at around 4 am saying that they were unable to charge my card and I needed to call them. I called customer service and spoke to a man who told me that I was still scheduled and that they'd auto charge me the next day for the balance. He confirmed the remainder due was $2851. This was on Nov 15. We had Thanksgiving and I went to log into PODS to make sure everything was moving as it should be and I couldn't even log in! It said my account was locked and I needed to call PODs. I called them, they said my account was in collections, after two transfers and 40 minutes, collections unlocked my account and told me that I didn't have a balance due but that I needed to contact customer service to have my containers scheduled for delivery. They'd removed everything from my account entirely. After waiting 20+ minutes for a supervisor I was told I'd receive a call back from a supervisor (still has yet to happen) but that they needed to schedule my containers for delivery, couldn't keep the original delivery dates and I needed to call collections back to pay the balance otherwise their system would try to charge me the full amount and not recognize the $3,000 that has already been paid. So I'm still waiting on my containers, still waiting to speak to a supervisor all for something THEIR REPRESENTATIVE told me would be a non issue.

Terrible experience with Pods. Their customer service is a joke. They damaged my driveway by gouging it out at multiple points and have made it practically impossible to file a claim. Unsatisfied with PODS Moving and Storage.

Used PODS this spring because we were selling and buying a home and we needed to clear the house.  The POD was delivered, packed and picked up fine.  It came from Columbia SC and was being stored in Augusta GA because it was the closest to where we lived, (we never were given a choice of storage). Everything went fine for 3 months.  When we finally settled on our new home and was ready for the delivery of our POD we called and were told that they would not deliver it because of where we lived. Needless to say I was upset, now what do we do.  They said because it was coming from another state the closest place they could deliver it was Charleston. Smoaks (where we live) was not in there moving area.  So they would deliver it to Charleston and the PODS Co agreed to deliver it to us for a huge fee. They quoted us over $900 to deliver it to our house which was only 50 miles from charleston.  We couldn't believe it or afford it.  So we only had a few days before they would charge us for another month which was another $248 dollars so we had to find people to help us take our stuff out of the POD at the storage place in Augusta Ga real quick and load it onto a UHaul truck and bring it to our new home.  That was not what we were expecting when we signed with PODS.  So now we paid another $223 dollars to get our belongings because they would not deliver to our new place.
Be careful, we were never told the Insurance was tacked on every month only what it cost to have. Never did we dream we would not be able to have our things delivered or we would not have used them.  Did not know they had areas like that. We thought by using PODS it would make our move easy but it ended up making it a horendus move.  I will not recommend them to anyone nor ever use them again.  .

Do Not Use!

Please do yourself a favor and use anther company. This has been hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Spent $1400 to have my stuff moved from Cave Creek to Gilbert. They picked up one POD and dropped it back off again at the house I moved out of. I'm still shaking my head at how dumb you must have to be to make that mistake. I've spent countless hours on the phone speaking with what seems like mindless robots that have one goal..to make sure nothing gets done to fix my issue. I filed an incident report on Wednesday and I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me five days later. Every time I call, the representative handling the report is on a break and won't return my calls.

I told myself I would never write a bad review. I usually just think it's for people that are impossible to please or just itching to complain about something. Thanks for motivating me to get over that issue PODS. If I can save one customer the headache of doing business with you, then this review had been a success. I really don't understand how you stay in business.

Worst Moving Experience of my life.

I highly discourage anyone from using this incompetent company. Worst customer service! My story goes like this. Ordered 2 PODS and realized the day of loading that I was going to need another one. I called PODS and requested a new container and the call lasted for two hours and fifteen minutes. I also scheduled the pickup for all the PODS after loaded and was assured all three would be stored in Montgomery, AL, which would be the closest storage facility that would deliver to my new address in Auburn, AL. The technician told me to just call about three days before I needed them delivered to the new address and there wouldn’t be any issue. There was a big issue. They didn’t store my PODS in Montgomery, they stored them in Birmingham and claimed they needed five days for transit and three day for logistics. I spoke to three or four supervisors and nobody could do anything to get my PODS on the day I requested. They did say that if my PODS would have been stored in Montgomery like they said there would not have been any issue. THEIR FAULT! So they put in an account review and some guy called and stated they lost the 2:15 min call I had with them. He credited my account $100 dollars and said basically take it or leave it and he didn’t have to give me anything. So I accepted I was getting my PODS on the earliest date they said. I moved my entire family down the day prior because all three PODS were scheduled to be delivered. They only delivered two of the three and stated the other one was never scheduled. I asked if someone could just please contact the Birmingham facility and see if they can make an exception and deliver it the next day but was met with the standard “that is not our policy or procedure”. I had to drive my family back to my parent’s house to stay with them for another week because the one POD they didn’t send is the one with all of our furniture. It is taking them nine additional days to deliver my last POD and I’m having to take more vacation time off to unload it. They also charged me for and extra month of storage because due to their mistake the PODS were in storage for more than 30 days and they don’t prorate monthly storage fees. I will never use this company again. They have ONE job, to deliver/store PODS and they can’t even do that right. WHEN they make a mistake, and they will, they will not fix it. They will tell you to submit and account review and someone will get back to you in 3-5 days. Not one time did I call them and spend less than an hour on the phone. If you ask for a supervisor, they put you on hold for half hour and then come back on stating they are busy.

Beware of This Shady Company!!

I would HIGHLY encourage ANYONE that is going to be needing moving to under NO circumstances to use this company for your moving needs, as we are currently experiencing the worst moving nightmare ever. We purchased a home back in June and after reading the reviews we felt PODS would be our best option as once you can load it at your convenience. The way the company works is they charge you an initial POD monthly fee, ours was $274.64, this fee gives you usage of the Pod for one month. During this month you load the POD then call them or go online to schedule your Pod to be moved to your new location, then they charge you a fee to move the pod to your new location, our fee was $203.29 this includes fuel and the 44 mile drive. During this month rental of your Pod you have one month to load your POD, schedule a delivery date to your new home, unload the POD then schedule a date for the POD to be picked up and if you DO NOT have the POD removed off your property ( removal price was$89.99) during this initial month rental you will automatically be charged another months rental. This shouldn't be a big issue BUT unlike the TV commercials and online ads, unless you can schedule your final POD move 2-3 weeks in advance you are out of luck and will be charged another month, as PODS will ensure there are no available move dates until you have to pay for an extra month. We used this service to move our belongings out of our garage which took a 15 foot pod and everything went fairly fairly smooth with the exception of the difficulty of a Pod moving date. So we then had the POD moved back to our old residence to load the items out of our home, this is when things really went downhill fast. The Pod sat for two weeks empty at my new home because PODS didn't have an available date to move it, then on the day it was scheduled to be moved back to my old home to load again, the driver left me a voicemail stating he was picking the pod up from my new home. AFTER 4 pm that day I had no POD at my old house ( it had been scheduled from 12-4) so I called the driver back, he had taken my POD (that I had already been charged for) back to the POD storage place!! He did say he would go get it and after 5 minutes of explaining exactly where to put it, it was placed in the wrong place I was not home when it was delivered, this was July 5th, Ok accidents happen I thought so I disregarded this and focused on moving. I learned from the first move to call WAY in advance to schedule another move, so I immediately called PODS and was told July 16th was available so I booked it. On July 15th I noticed at 11 am $89.99 was taken out of my bank account, I did the online chat in an attempt to verify that my move was still on for the next day, which this rep stated a supervisor would email me an answer.. today is July 17th, still haven't heard anything from JOHN the supervisor. I then called PODS to see why this amount was charged as this was not the quoted price to have my fully loaded POD taken to my new home. I was told by a rude cust. serv. rep that this was the price for my FINAL PICKUP, I tried to explain to her that it was not final as it was loaded not empty, this entire conversation went nowhere except that I was not going to have my POD taken to my new location, I asked to be transferred o a supervisor only to be told by this rep, she had no supervisor, I told her unless she was the CEO that she did have a supervisor. After being on this call for over 40 minutes with this rep also having the gall to tell me I needed to be quiet and listen to her, she FINALLY transferred me to a manager named MIchelle. Michelle was very pleasant and genuinely wanted to help, but just like JOHN, she was going to call me back or email me , and I am still waiting for that email as well. Saturday morning came and I called PODS first thing and spoke to a very nice man named Max went above and beyond to try to get my POD moved to my new home, but he was told the problem was it would be a 44 mile drive for a drive. He eventually transferred me to a supervisor to discuss this mess with who also tried to help but couldn't he did offer a $50.00 credit to my account for this error,it has yet to show on my account so I am not going to hold my breath. He broke the news to me that my POD that was scheduled for July 16th, will now be delivered on the 19th. I have forgot to mention this pod has all my families clothes on it, stove, refrigerator, wash & dryer, all furniture, so we all have maybe 2 changes of clothes to our name until PODS decide to bring our POD to us. To put the icing on this cake, after all this mess yesterday the PODS driver called me from my old driveway where this POD full of my stuff is sitting telling me he is sitting in my old driveway looking at my POD wondering why it is full and has a lock on it, I proceeded to tell him about PODS negligence and that was why my POD was still there, he was beyond sympathetic and stated if they hadn't booked him until 5 he would have gladly drove my POD to me.During his and my conversation someone beeped in my phone and left a voicemail after hanging up with Dan the driver, I listened to a RUDE msg from a warehouse manager named BRIAN stating his driver was at my house and there was a lock on the pod and if I didn't call him back he was just going to take the POD to storage and I could have it moved from there!! SO .. as I sit in a lawn chair inside my new home with one of my two changes of clothes on, I am waiting to see if PODS decides to bring me their POD full of belongings as they scheduled. DId I mention that I had already paid a moving crew to unload my POD yesterday?? No refunds now I can either hire them again or hope like heck I can get it unloaded before I have to pay another months rent, I am POSITIVE PODS will not have an available date before Aug3rd though which is my deadline..I need to also mention I just looked at my PODS account and they also ILLEGALLY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION used a Credit Card that IS NOT my primary card to pay for the move that is scheduled for this Tuesday! I used this CC one time to pay for a pick up I specifically told them then it was NOT to be used ANY other time! PODS took it upon themself to use this card again, I just hung up with a customer service rep named Mike that was in shock and even stated this was not right, but billing was not in until Monday and this would be something to discuss with them! I would also like to mention I have requested some form of compensation only to be told no one has the authority to do this. I truly just want to get this nightmare over with and never see or hear the word PODS again, Since PODS refuse to make THEIR wrongs right, I am making a copy of this post and will post it on EVERY review site I can possibly find as well as the BBB. This is one shady company that financially manipulates schedules and orders in order to line their pockets. And god forbid you have to speak with customer service, prepare yourself to be disrespected and you will end the call with no resolution, its PODS way or the highway, they know they are in control as they either have a POD full or your stuff or they make the schedule and tell you when they will get the POD off your property, sofinancially you are at their beck and cal. SO please please DO NOT become a victim of this companies shenanigans, and as I stated word of mouth is always best and If I can post this on every site possible I will in order to prevent anyone else from being screwed over!! After todays illegal use of a Credit Card, I will be seeking Legal advice and representation in this matter!
