van line is neither swift, nor heroic.

A few days, maybe even a week late, I could understand but they arrived 15 days late. There was no offer of recompense to reimburse me for alternative sleeping arrangements or to cover the half a months rent I had paid to have the space open for deliver.

The day the did arrive they were seven hours later then they said they would be- and refused to take my boxes up the stairs without an additional charge, somehow this never came up until the evening they arrived. They also arrived with one broken picture frame they had boxed in addition to missing several boxes along with a missing piece of furniture. The cost of replacing the items missing is likely around 1800 dollars Canadian, I know that I'm not getting all that back, but they then deliberately chose to treat all my furniture and items as lost "boxed items" in a bid to keep the payout below the deductible cost.

The whole time rather then keeping me informed they just plowed past every conceivable deadline, and aimed to do nothing to redress the multiple and repeated failures to do their job.

Through these repeated failures in communication, following the failures in doing their job, I remained incredibly patient and civil to everyone I talked to.

Only got 1 star cause zero is not an option. I have never written a bad review of any company ever. This is how badly violated I feel.

All in all Pegaus probably cost me 2500$ dollars in outside costs, and an untold amount of time filling out their claim sheets which they had no intention of doing good on. Do not trust your things or your time with this company.

As they say “if I could give them no stars, I would”. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with (and this is no exaggeration). It started with them having to switch things around and rescheduled last minute to pick up our things a day later than planned. This made our moving plans more complex as there were things we needed done in another close by city. The day we moved, our appointment ran late (no fault of our own) and we’re going to be 20 minutes late. We called them to let them know and ended up getting literally screamed at over the phone for being 20 minutes late after they rescheduled a full 24 hours difference on very short notice. My fiancée asked multiple employees multiple times, including the driver, confirming it will only be 10 days to move our things across Canada. Everyone stated this was the case. After traveling 10 days and thinking we would be arriving at the same time as our items they never showed. We called multiple times over the course of a month trying to figure out where our things were. Sometimes we wouldn’t get through, sometimes they knew where our stuff was and sometimes they didn’t. We never got a clear answer, they were rarely helpful over the phone, not being able to tell us when our stuff would arrive or where it was at. After an entire month of them guessing when our things would make it, where it was and creating a false hope every time they would tell us “next week” and it not arriving, we finally were told “next week” aka a month later (maybe longer) and they called us the day of that they would be arriving. They arrived at 9/10pm at night and moved our things in. Multiple items were broken or badly damaged. Later, we called about the delay, the false promises of getting our things, how we had to spend lots of money on additional items we needed (as we didn’t pack appropriately due to being told it will only be 10 days), and how we were treated and screamed at in the beginning. We paid way more than what was anticipated from what we calculated and never received an apology from the driver, and 0 compensation for any of this. I strongly suggest not going with this company.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3500

Pegasus was super easy to work with. I had to change my moving dates a few times and they were always very accommodating and made it really easy to stay in touch during a pretty stressful time. On the day of the move, their team showed up on time and worked quickly to get everything out of the old place and into the new. They were able to move everything with zero damage to any furniture and were polite and respectful during the whole process. Pricing was very reasonable compared to a few of the other big moving companies in the GTA and would definitely recommmend!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $750

Overall, I’m very happy with their service. We were told the movers would arrive between 8 and 9 am, but they showed up at 9:40 am. While it wasn’t the best start, they immediately got to work once they arrived. The team was fast, efficient, and very professional, clearly skilled at what they do! Our initial frustration quickly turned into delight. The movers and the company’s representatives were so outstanding that we won’t lower the rating over a minor delay. Many thanks for turning this into such a positive experience!

Our household items were picked up in Ontario on June 21, with full payment made by June 23 (Invoice PS2357). We were promised a 4–6 day delivery timeframe to Manitoba by Nick. Instead, our belongings arrived over a month later — on July 21 — without a single apology or proper update. The lack of communication and transparency was shocking.

To make matters worse, when the movers finally arrived, they refused to bring our belongings inside the house. My husband was home alone with three little children. The movers dropped everything at the base of our stairs, despite only a few steps leading to the first floor where we reside. After my husband went inside to call the company who had earlier promised that all our belongings will be moved inside at no cost, the staff turned around to tell him there was a cost determined by the movers if there is a stair case, and that it was hidden somewhere in the contract. My husband then stepped outside to negotiate the extra charge they claimed for stairs, only to find out that the movers had disappeared without a word. We were left to move all the heavy furniture ourselves.

We also discovered damaged items, including parts of our shoe rack, and missing pieces and items we couldn’t trace. But after such a long, stressful ordeal, we didn’t bother chasing it. We were just relieved to be done with Pegasus.

To top it off, several perishable food items were spoiled due to the unexpected month-long delay. We had packed and planned for the original timeline they gave us.

No customer should have to go through this. Poor communication, zero accountability, and no regard for customer. If you’re planning a move, do yourself a favor — sell your belongings and buy new ones rather than trusting this company.

The final price was a bit higher than I expected, but I understand it was due to the heavy items involved. Even so, my experience with this company was entirely positive. Every employee I interacted with was polite, responsible, and focused on doing the job right. All of my belongings were carefully wrapped, loaded, and unloaded without a single issue. There were no delays or slowdowns throughout the entire move. Overall, I’m very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them.

I have moved 3 times in my life, and I really wish I had known about Pegasus earlier. After two terrible experiences with other movers, this was my first time using this company. They were respectful of all my belongings, and everything arrived safely. The movers weren’t rushing, but they also didn’t waste time, it was the perfect pace to get the job done on time. At the end, everything was placed exactly where I asked. It was a very pleasant experience, and from now on, I’ll only use their services.

From the moment I contacted them for our long-distance move, I knew we were in good hands. The entire process was smooth and positive. We ended up having way more items than expected and had to request partial packing help at the last minute. We were truly grateful! The actual moving team was excellent, absolutely amazing. They handled everything professionally, with care, and were flexible throughout. They paid special attention to our more delicate items, which we really appreciated. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I give Pegasus Van Lines the highest marks possible!

These movers recently relocated my wife and me from Kingston, ON to Montreal, QC. The team was fast, friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They disassembled some of our larger furniture with ease, things I would have spent hours on looked like child’s play to them! I was truly impressed by their professionalism and the care they showed throughout the move. I will absolutely recommend them to all my friends and would use their services again without hesitation.

Nick Galanis was kind at first. Taking a deposit saying it would take about 10 days for delivery. No one showed on the day. I had to leave all my and my kids belongs behind to catch our flight. He screamed, insulted and demeaned me while I was in tears. He knew I had no one else to help. He refused to return my deposit throwing texts messages before in my face. He gaslights and cost us so much more money. He's a terrible rude man and reading all these other reviews online, he does this constantly to people. He needs to be shut down. Im going to the authorities and he wasnt bothered one bit by it. Its fraud and hes very untrustworthy.

Pegasus Van Lines were the absolute best movers I’ve ever used around GTA! Nick was super communicative and helpful with any and all questions or concerns. The movers were kind and respectful, worked super fast, and took care of all my belongings and furniture like pros. No damages or scratches like other movers have given me. They also were pros about dealing with people parking in my moving permit area and rolled with it. I will recommend them to anyone moving in GTA.

Pegasus made my move as easy as it could possibly be. They provided very accurate information and timing. I received a call 24 hours before the move and another one just 1 hour before the movers arrived. The team did a great job and worked hard to complete the move within the three-hour timeframe, which was the initial estimate. The office representative Nick walked me through the paperwork quickly and professionally, answering all my questions thoroughly. I definitely recommend them.
