      Still waiting for my delivery

      I got bamboozled, when I first made contact with Pegasus Vanlines, everything went well, the customer service was great, and I was told everything that I wanted to hear. I was told it was going to take two weeks to get my items delivered, no problem, I was told I only had to pay the deposit on booking, and then the balance in delivery, great. The movers that came to pick up my items were great, they were friendly, respectful, they handled my items with care, they labelled everything and packed everything neatly in their truck, that was the end of the great service. The very next morning I received an email with their invoice attached, I thought that they were just letting me know how much my move was going to cost now that they had weighed my items, mind you the invoice was for $970 more than my original quote, I didn't have the means to weigh my items myself, so I had to go off of what they said, no problem.       Professional Team

      These movers recently relocated my wife and me from Kingston, ON to Montreal, QC. The team was fast, friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They disassembled some of our larger furniture with ease, things I would have spent hours on looked like child’s play to them!       Local Move

      First I hired another moving company that was running super late and didn’t care to call me, I messaged Pegasus and Nick answered, he was able to assist my last minute booking to help me move on a Thursday evening. The team of 2 showed up on time and worked well as a team, which made the move so much more pleasant. Very professional and hard working! Will never use another mover in Toronto.

      Great Service from Start to Finish

      The final price was a bit higher than I expected, but I understand it was due to the heavy items involved. Even so, my experience with this company was entirely positive. Every employee I interacted with was polite, responsible, and focused on doing the job right. All of my belongings were carefully wrapped, loaded, and unloaded without a single issue. There were no delays or slowdowns throughout the entire move. Overall, I’m very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them.

      No Complaints!

      This was truly an amazing experience! We moved locally in London from a 3-bedroom house to another 3-bedroom house. From start to finish, the entire process was stress-free with no hidden costs. The team showed up on time, the paperwork was simple, and they were both professional and friendly. They handled all our items with extra care, and the final price was very fair. I have absolutely no complaints, everything with the Pegasus team was fully positive!

      Very Unprofessional

      Booking Pegasus and arrival of truck was great. Waiting for our furniture was where it started. They initially told us 7-10 days. It was 28 days. When the truck arrived he asked me to show him our apartment. After seeing he talks to partner in language I didn’t understand and then he says “Because of the long hallway and elevator we have to charge another $250.”I said you’re two and a half weeks late and you want me to pay more plus we have a cashiers check in the remainder of what we owe. He said “sorry ma’am”. He then said “ How do u want to pay”. They wouldn’t unload till I paid an extra $250. After all was unloaded I noticed that they had ruined a desk. So I said to him what about the desk. All he said was “sorry ma’am. Unbelievable. Just a few days into them picking up our furniture we kept getting called to pay the remainder of our balance even thou the initial salesman said $200 down and remainder on arrival of your furniture. We called Pegasus numerous times to have a manager call us back so we could discuss the late truck. No one ever returned our call. If your wanting to book a truck oh they will call you immediately!

      Highly unreliable

      My experience was extremely poor. Despite their initial active outreach and eagerness to sell their service, once they received the deposit, their communication ceased. They only responded two weeks later when I requested a refund of my $200 deposit, which they were reluctant to return. Regrettably, I was unaware of these negative reviews before submitting the deposit.

      Van still has not arrive 3 weeks later

      We started this journey with a guy named Nicklis. He contacted us after we inquired about having our late fathers things shipped from Ontario to Saskatchewan. He gave us a price that was compatible with most of the other moving companies we reached out to butNicklis was friendly and promised they would load the things on the Thursday, January 4th, 2024 and leave for Saskatchewan, January 5th 2024. Our things would arrive the following Friday, January 12th, 2024.

      Friday comes and NO moving van arrives ,NO phone call they where NOT coming, NO email they weren't coming.

      I emailed Nicklis but he DOES NOT return my several emails. So, I email the Accountant and she emails me back saying " sorry they didn't have a container available to ship our things".

Terrible moving by Pegasus

Please do not use this company! Absolutely expensive and damaged furnitures with zero intentions of paying for the damage. I moved one bedroom and it costed around 2300. The guy named nick was dismissive when I asked him to prove his legitimacy. Then said I didn’t need to put any big furnitures in boxes and then proceeded to take money for the big boxes the movers brought. When my furnitures arrived, 3 were damaged beyond repair. When I filled in the claim forms, after more than a month they said they were not responsible for the damage. Trying to find ways to pursue them legally. In the mean time please use a different company.

Stay away from this worst mover

Stay away from this moving company and don’t believe a single word out of their salesman’s mouth – advice from a victim of scam.

Following is my bad experience with Pegasus Van Lines located in Etobicoke, Toronto. What I said here is truth, nothing but truth and I am legally responsible for every single word I said here. There are a lot in common in my and other people’s negative comments (e.g., no commitment to the confirmed moving date, worst communications, lies and false promises from the salesman, and no response nor any compensations for the lost and damaged personal items). Unfortunately, I alone experienced all of these negative practices above. In past 30 years, we have had several trans-Canada relocations but this is the worst moving company we have ever hired.

We had booked the 9:00 am of June 22 as moving date with Pegasus Van Lines 7 weeks in advance to move my household stuff from Alberta to Ontario through a salesman named ‘Nick Galanis’ who offered us what he described as “a room-to-room direct moving” at a competitive rate. I made it clear to him that June 22 is not a moveable deadline, as the possession of our sold house was June 23rd and we had to move out prior to 12 pm on that day. I also asked Nick specifically whether they do “consolidating” moving (meaning uploads and offloads numerous times before the delivery), he said ‘No” and even said that the shipment, once picked up, would be directly shipped to the destination and delivered in 5 – 8 business days even before our arrival if I chose to drive to Ontario. Everything seemed ok until June 19 when we got a call from a driver who told us that we had to re-schedule for the pickup, as he had to do a maintenance for his truck on that day. We also found from him it was not a direct moving as Nick promised. Since then I tried to contact Nick by email, phone and text messaging but in vain, no response at all. Then in the morning of the moving day (June 22), I finally got a chance to speak to Steve and expressed my concern. He was so defensive, rude and indifferent even threatened to cancel the pickup as a solution to our concern! At the end, the driver came at 5:00 pm and started uploading our items but he charged us extra $813 + taxes on handling fees and furniture packing, which Nick promised for free. We did not find out until 10 days after the pickup that they even did not do a long-distance truck moving. Instead, our stuffs, after sitting in their terminal for several days, were uploaded into a shipping container and sent to Ontario by train. For two weeks, there was no news about the shipment. So, I started to call but either no one answered the phone or put me on hold and then hung up on me. Finally on July 13, after 21 days waiting, our shipment arrived. The cost of the shipment was doubled, compared to the initial estimate. No credit card was accepted and all had to be paid in full prior to the delivery. The worst of all was that, in spite of extra charge of $813 we paid for handling and packing fees, our expensive and luxuriate (worth $5,000) solid-wood table set was severely damaged – the table base was broken in the middle, the edge of the table top was severely damaged, and one side chair’s leg was completely broken, not to mention the broken chinaware sets and scratches/damages here and there on the other furniture. In addition, 32 boxes and items were missing including two ladders, expensive clothes, cooking wares, valuable items, etc. We called, texted and emailed to Nick with the list of missing items and photos of damaged furniture. He promised to look into this but nothing happened since. The total estimated losses/damages were over $10,000. Ironically, after 3-month waiting when they finally processed the compensation for the loss/damages, they offered us only $103, which was only 1% of what we lost, as compensation. What a joke!

The lesson we learned is that don’t believe anything Nick promised you. What he promises is too good to be true. If you don’t want to experience the same disaster as we have gone through, stay away from this moving company like the plaque.

Hassle Free - Great Experience

This was the best moving experience for me in last years, even I used this company already for a few times in the past. If I could give them 10 stars I would! We hired them for their full packing and moving service and it was great. Everything I own was packed with care and arrived without a single scratch on anything. The crew was incredibly efficient, gracious, and patient. All this for about half of what some competitors had quoted us. From working with the team on a quote, the move date, to packing, loading the truck and unloading and unpacking again, these guys exceeded all my expectations. Hardworking, polite, and thorough - they are a very professional team that I truly couldn't recommend enough and will 100% hire them for my next move.

Overall a great experience.

Moving is one of the most difficult and stressful things but not with these guys. The were very efficient and careful with our items. First of all they were on time. They called ahead of time stated that they would arrive at 9:00am and I was impressed that they were on time. They were very nice, courteous, and respectful. The communication with the office was great as well. They are very helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Everyone definitely made our move a lot more smoother. I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone and I would without hesitation use this company again

Communication was terrible throughout the whole process, no answers when i called, no reply to email. Late for pick up AND Delivery by 4 days. The only time i was contacted was when they wanted more money! Nick didnt answer one call or email (yet hes the one in charge) non of the employees INCLUDING THE USLESS WOMEN WHO ASKED FOR PAYMENTS knew the policies or procedures. Once they had my stuff they charged me $2050 more the quoted (even though i was CLEARLY TOLD BY NICK THERE WOULD BE NO EXTRA FEES OR CHARGES UNLESS I WAS ABOVE MY WEIGHT). $5000 worth in claims and they are offering me $37.00. This company is a joke and are crooks. Clearly have no regard for peoples things and have zero integrity.

40+ Days for my now Broken Belongings

First things first, I am missing some items that should be impossible to misplace like a corner piece of a bedframe and the hardware to attach it. It was shipped attached to the other part of the frame. They broke my office chair, lost a computer monitor.... It goes on...

Second, it took over 40 days to get my items. I was told 7-21... I was told usually 7-14 was to be expected. Not 40+ Days... And I wasn't expecting to be charged $200+ for "storage" when they attempted to show up with no notice on a weekend while I wasn't home.

I then was told another date and time, I waited and waited. Nothing. I was then told another time. Late. Not to mention the day they came to pick up my stuff they were supposed to show up in the afternoon but no one showed up until 11pm.

Now I'm waiting 8 weeks for them to "find" my items and was told to basically go away by the claims department. No communication from them since.

Run far. Run fast. Don't use.

Pegasus Van Lines will be a company I will use again for future moves. They showed up on time when they said they would be there, with a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. My wife and I used this company for a local move last week and they were wonderful! Best moving experience.

The entire experience was the best move I have ever had. The sales representative was pleasant and professional, scheduling the move with no issues and fitting the initial walkthrough around our availability. The packing crew took more care to make sure our breakable items were protected than any other moving company I have seen. The loading and unloading was faster than expected. This company was highly rated and recommended, and I cannot agree more.

Great job!!

We are repeat customers with this company. The entire process was seamless. The office staff were professional and very accommodating when we had to reschedule our move multiple times! The moving crew was prompt, friendly and professional. They did an awesome job. Furniture and belongings were handled with care! We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. Pricing was fair and the time estimated to complete the move was appropriate.

Wonderful experience!

The team was wonderful, quick and made moving from my house into my storage unit a breeze. They took great care dismantling my heavy furniture, wrapping what needed for added protection and safely loading into their trucks. They stacked my storage unit in an organized Tetris fashion. I will be using this company again for moving and setup within my new home. I highly recommend this company.

Speedy service!

I have used them for several moves, and I have always been impressed by the speed and quality of their service. They are very professional and courteous, but also helpful and respectful of my time. The guys who came to help me pack up my belongings were very kind--they helped me make sure that everything was packed in the right way, so that I could get it all into one truck. They were also very careful with my belongings, making sure they didn't damage anything. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great moving company!

Highly recommend them!

Excellent moving service from initial review and estimate of items to be shipped through completed delivery. Everything proceeded as scheduled. Moving crew was very courteous and professional and were careful in moving all items as to not cause any damage to the furniture being moved and covered the floors so there would be no damage. They went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone who requires movers to move their belongings.
