Let me tell you, the excellent service I received over the phone from One Source Van Lines LLC was what sealed the deal for me! I may have gotten some more competitive quotes elsewhere, but the genuine care, expertise, and sound guidance they provided were second to none. Working with them was an absolute pleasure, and their assistance during my move was nothing short of a godsend!

Horrible scam artists! Bait and switch all of the way!

Horrible scam artists! Bait and switch all of the way! Horrible customer service. Offered partial refund but now will not even communicate once BBB COMPLAINT was filed. Then you have to deal with another moving company as they are just a broker who will scam you as well. Better of with two guys and a truck or old fashioned u-haul.

Overcharged me once contract and deposit made

I moved with One Source in December of 2023. Intially the person who helped me was very nice, and walked me through everything - which gave me confidence to go with this company.

When one of their team called me a week before the move to verify what I was shipping, they told me I would be charged 90% of the total move price to add on only about 20% more items to the total.

So if my total move was $4000 and I had to add some items on at the end increasing my total truck used space by 20%, they wanted to charge me an additional $3600 to do so, - even though I was told my square foot cost would stay the same as when I put my deposit down.

After questioning this - the prick on the phone said "well if you don't want to pay it you can just it behind." Which is thinly veiled threat.

Additionally I was charged $700 dollars to shuttle my stuff because the roads to my place could not take a tractor trailer - even though the contract said it would be no more than $500.

These people are scum, cheats, and they pray on people once they sign the line.

They will talk nice to get you to commit. From there - criminals.

Sorry to see this type of review as we always try to put customers first when it comes to our services. In this case, the customer added 200 cf to their move before the pickup which did increase the cost of the move. Unfortunately, the shuttle fee is not something that we can ever control. When a customer lives on a dirt road or a hard to get to the place, the movers have to rent a smaller truck to shuttle the goods in. These additional costs go to the mover for the additional labor and cost of the smaller truck. When reviewing the file it appears the customer was informed of this and was upset about it but understood why the cost was the cost. We do hope the customer is settled and doing well in their new place.

Incessant, Too Personal and Overbearing

I reached out to One Source to obtain a quote on a cross country move a couple of months ago. I am moving for my company, who is coordinating the dates/when I am moving. I expressed to my initial salesperson when plans changed that I would reach out to him when I knew the new dates of my move. I received multiple calls at various times of day, where I had to reiterate that I would reach out when I am ready. My "file" was transferred to another sales agent, whom I also expressed that I would reach out directly. I received very snippy responses from this person, so much so that I have now decided to not use this company's service whatsoever. I asked to be removed from whatever list I was on and to not be contacted again. She called me rude and responded with "just trying to do my job." The level of incessant communication from these sales people felt desperate and unprofessional.

Poor experience once deposit received

Initially, we had a positive experience with Oliver the representative who gave us our quote. He was nice and very communicative. Then I had to add a few items, which I called and did. The call a few days before to review items showed that somehow there may be some missing items from the report. I tried to discuss with the representative that Oliver had said he would add them and that the price shouldn’t be anymore. I was told it doesn’t matter what I say or think they are going to charge me what they are going to charge me when they get to my home. I was worried at that point so we went and rented a U-Haul trailer ourselves and filled it up to eliminate some of the items for the mover themselves. I also tried to reach back out to Oliver who had initially been very communicative. He ignored several of my calls and texts at that point. The morning they arrived they told me that the move would increase from almost $5000 to now $10000 that morning if we still wanted to use them to move. I thought it was weird that our number of boxes had gone up even though we had packed up several of the boxes so it actually had gone down. Come to find out the movers were numbering ALL boxes even things I said we were taking(yes they were set aside separately) this included a box of garbage bags, our luggage which we were taking in the car and several items like that. I then knew exactly why our number of boxes had increased. We said we wanted to cancel their services and called dispatch. We were told that we could let them leave but would have to process everything for a potential refund to our deposit. I have been working on that for a few weeks now. I told them I would even be happy with half of the deposit back because the job wasn’t done so they got paid for nothing. When I called them today I was told that since I made a complaint to the BBB I would not be getting any refund back. My report was accurate to them and truthful. It is also my right as an American to make a report to BBB if I feel necessary.

We are sorry to hear about the discrepancies during your move. When we reviewed the file it appeared that the customer did not follow through with their Quality Assurance call. This is the time before the move that customers can add or remove items from the inventory. Please know, that we only charge people for what they move. We are not here to charge more money unnecessarily. Let's also keep in mind that the carrier is our network carrier, this means we do not make any move for the pick-up and drop-off payments. These on-site adjustments do not benefit us in any way. Prior to loading the truck the foreman goes around and does a walk-through to give the worst-case scenario for the customers in the event there are items present that are not listed on the contract. We spoke with the carrier and the items the customer was moving themselves were rectified. However, they still had many additional items they wanted to put on the truck and not pay for them to be moved.
Finally, our moving coordinators in many cases are on the phone. This is why we tell every customer to contact our customer service department. This is their job as they communicate with the carriers and handle these types of issues.
If the customer needs further assistance we are available and they can contact our customer service department.

Horrible experience!

First they said they were quoting me for a 2-3 bedroom move, but then 48 hours before the move I was informed that was not the case and that they had quoted me for a "mini move" and that it was going to be double what I was originally told. Then I ended up having to cancel after I get a call at 4pm the day before they are supposed to pick up my stuff saying they won't be there till Sunday (2 days after I'm supposed to be gone) I tried to make it work and was unable to. My family was all going out of town and so I had to cancel. They wouldn't refund me and were so rude and disrespectful! I ended up having to rent a uhaul and pack it all up and move it myself. If I could give zero starts I would. They made my move a nightmare! Do not ever use this company!

Moving companies do not base cost on the amount of bedrooms customers have, it is based on the amount of space they take up in the truck. This was explained during the first was with the customer very clearly as we pulled the recording before this response. The agreement that the customer entered into had a cancellation policy of 72 hours from the time of booking. Being that it was the night before, they were indeed outside of this window.
The customer ended up having 429cf. instead of the mini size move which is 286cf. This does influence the cost to increase.
When we learned of the additional space required for this move we informed the customer of their worst case or they could go back to the original size move (286cf) they then insisted on canceling their move knowing they would be forfeiting the original deposit.

Happy to hire them

One Source Van Lines LLC is still our first choice, but we don't plan to move soon. We are very happy with the result, and their honest and professional approach improved the moving process. We were hesitant to move from UT to TN at first because of the problems we had with our last move. This was the first time we had our things brought, and the shipping company needed to be faster, and the supposed bearers were careless. Making things even worse, our bed frame was in terrible shape when it got there. As we prepared to make the trip back, finding a more dependable moving company was our main goal. As soon as One Source Van Lines LLC got involved, our return trip became a smooth and easy experience from beginning to end. Our moving process was only possible with the help of Max, a friendly and knowledgeable person. Throughout several phone calls, he broke down the complicated parts of the moving process and described how much everything would cost. Max made contact easy and available because they were always friendly and approachable. He carefully planned the move, which he thought would take six to ten weeks. He thought about everything that could speed up or slow down the process at each step. The delivery happened on the scheduled day, and the real-time frame was closer to six weeks than expected. Choosing to use One Source Van Lines LLC "fragile & furniture" service on a moving day changed everything. One of their very helpful and nice workers helped us pack our things. Among other fragile things, he was very careful with our furniture, wedding China, and other things we owned. He carefully padded each item and wrapped it tightly using a certain method.

Scams!!!!!!

Look if anyone here write a positive review just know it was all arranged, this company is simply a scam!!!! Please tell people to run far, we were supposed to make a king move from Florida to Texas but changed our minds well over 3 weeks to moving date,we had already made a down payment of about 1200 when we called them to let them know we wount be making that move anymore to get a refund they refused to refund despite never doing the job,we asked why this is well over 3 weeks to the due date,the owner or whoever the lady was claimed they have already paid the people to do the job upfront… who ever pays someone for a job not her done???? And why could the people not refund us for a job they never did??? Wickedness of the highest order. I just know one thing companies like this that cheat people of their hard earned money never last,their game will be up soonest as God Lives!

We are very sorry to see this type of review and apologize if the customer is upset. Like most loving companies, we have a 72-hour cancellation period from the time of booking. When the customer signed the agreement, this term has it's own page allowing full transparency for customers to understand what they are getting into. We are not sure why this would make us out to be a scam and feel that is a bit unfair. This move was booked back in January and a few weeks later the customer asked to put the move on hold as we would honor the move for up to 24 months. 6 months went by and they called in for a refund which we are not able to honor we informed them the move was placed on hold and we will extend the move for them if need be. Unfortunately, they felt the need to bring the matter here. We have done nothing but do our best to provide moving services and abide by our terms and conditions. We are sorry the customer feels the way they do. We are still here if they would like to move.
