Moving

This is not a positive review whatsoever. Their estimate was reasonable and felt that I had properly made all arrangements for my move to another state well over 30 days in advance to ensure scheduling for closing dates would coincide. I called a several weeks later as they indicated I needed to ensure moving dates. I did so. They also assured me that by 10 days before the move, the movers would be in contact with me to verify all information and dates. A few days after the 10 days before scheduled move day had passed, I called, texted, and emailed both the estimator and the office no less than 10 times over the course of a few days to verify the move and dates. I did NOT hear one peep from them in any form. I had hard closing dates and by the fifth day before moving day I had to hire a name brand mover and they responded and came through as promised. Meanwhile, apparently the movers that Lady Liberty (LL) contracted with contacted me the day before the move to let me know they would be at my home the next day. They also told me that LL didn’t schedule this with them three days before they called me. I told them the above story and they actually were shocked and apologetic on behalf of LL. Now, I must go after them for my deposit. In my opinion, they did NOT schedule the move until three days before the move after I pestered them in spite of my best efforts to schedule weeks in advance. How can anyone plan this any worse in spite of my best efforts for this move to be seamless? STAY AWAY from them.

Great movers!

These movers were professional and really made a horrible situation into a nice experience. I hadA reservation made 3 months ago for movers and they completely scammed me. They took my deposit and left me stuck on move day. I called Lady liberty and they managed to save the day and get me picked up and out by next day. Thanks for getting me out of the bind someone else got me in to! Truly appreciate it! Will refer you to all friends and family.

Poor experience

Eric who did the original bid was always on vacation after I signed the contract. Then they admitted he was fired. When the came to pick up my son’s furniture in Phoenix it was another $300 for no reason. When they got to Chicago they said it would be another $700 to get to his street. I called the main office and it went down to $375 but the day they brought the furniture the found another $200 expense. And they broke his nightstand. I would never recommend this co.

Experience

These guys provided me with one of the most pleasant moving experiences one could ask for. The movers were polite, and handled themselves in a professional and friendly manner. They were thorough, asked questions, and actually seemed passionate about their work and reputation. The movers were exceptionally delicate with all of my items, you can barely tell that they were shipped so far! If I ever need long distance movers again, I’ll definitely be giving them a call! Great service! Affordable price!

Lady liberty moving came and picked up my daughter’s move on 4/11. The movers arrived all in uniform and we’re very professional. I’m a 65 year old man that was very concerned about my health so I asked if they could wear a mask and the foreman instructed all movers to do so. The items arrived on 4/16 and all furniture was reassembled and placed where we wanted! I will definitely use them again!

I am so happy I ended up using Lady Liberty Moving.

I am so happy I ended up using Lady Liberty Moving. They were extremely responsive as my move date kept moving due to a closing being pushed back. They called the day of my move to let me know exactly what time they would arrive, which was in the time frame scheduled. The team of movers were extremely efficient and wrapped all my stuff up. I didn't have a single scratch or ding on any of my furniture. Even my plants were in great shape. Altogether I was out of my old place and into my new place in 2 hours. Moving from a studio to a 1 bedroom. I can't recommend them enough.

The best !

Coming from a military background , I've moved , alot. Needless to say I never write reviews, but Sometimes it's warranted. I moved from LA to TX , 3bdr house.. the price was great compared to other offers , they were on time, looked clean and professional and gave me peace of mind. They listened to my concerns and worked swiftly. They took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Everything was packed correctly and they took care of my items as if it was their own, which you don't get that with a lot of moving companies ..everything was running smoothly and they were able to unpack and assemble .would definitely recommend 10/10 .. thank you for all the hard work and dealing with my crazy anxiety driven self ... you'll be my first call if I move again.
