New Way Moving Services

My daughter and I needed our car transported to Huntsville Alabama from NY before August4, 2020. My daughter signed the contract on July 14 with a promise from Debra that our car would be delivered to her before the 4th of August .We called several times trying to gain a date in which the car would be picked up but no one seemed to have the information after the deposit was given. On August 3, 2020 I spoke with Rosa who gave 1 explanation as to why the delay and Debra who spoke to my daughter gave her a completely different explanation. When I called back on August 4, 2020 to request a refund, I was transferred to the rudest woman who Debra indicated was the owner of the business but refused to give the owners name. The so-called owner who said she was in billing spoke over me while I was talking, yelled at me a couple of times when I tried to explain to her that the car, the registration and the insurance was all in my name and that I was down as a contact on the contract but with the owners frustration when I was trying to talk she hung up on me mid sentence. When I tried calling back, the person who was identified as the owner picked up the phone, told me to stop calling and hung up again never giving me an opportunity to express what her employees had told my daughter and I nor did she give an answer regarding our refund that I requested when we realized we were not getting anywhere with the shipping. when my daughter tried calling them, they never answered any of her calls and we do not know if we will be receiving our refund back or not. This company needs to be out of business and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Service cost: $675

Like many people who fell victim to this company, I did not look close enough at all the "positive" reviews on this company that were posted on different sites and found after further review that the positive reviews are fake. The company initially would call us multiple times a day to get our deposite of $300, and once they got that money they basically fell of the earth as far as communication. After 3 weeks of this, I called and asked for a refund, Debra told me that they can't issue a refund because a driver had already been assigned, when I asked for the drivers contact info she made up a lie and told me she couldn't give it to me yet, finally when she did, she said it was BBC transporting service out of miami, when I searched the DOT website, no record of this company exist. Even better, the phone number she gave me to contact BBC (561 320 1501) is actually a number to New Way Moving service, and they pretended to be the dispatcher of the driver.

This company is not just a company that has bad customer service, they literally make money by scamming people out of their deposits, you absolutely will not get your money back from these people even if they say they will, they have learned that its easier to lie, make up stories and deal with upset customers on the phone rather that rightfully give back money to people.

Also, for some insider information, I reached out to a moving company that relies on brokers to ask if they had and experience working with New Way moving service, the company I spoke to said they have used them on multiple occasions and that every time they have delivered a car for them, New Way has told them a price they will pay them was higher than what was told to the customer. As you can imagine, this creates conflict when the car is being delivered and the driver is saying you have to pay more than what was agreed on. I highly recommend staying away from this company, do not give them a deposite and don't use money transferring services that don't allow you to dispute charges. With the amount of time the put into creating fake positive reviews, its too bad they don't put that time and resources into being a reputable company.

Service cost: $1400

They did not pick up the car I was shipping from Mass to Conn less than 3 hrs away until I repeatedly called them as my customer was getting furious. It took aLmost a week past pick up Date. Of course they agreed to pick up after they asked for an extra 75 I knew I could not get my deposit back since they longer take credit cards and I had to wire the deposit so I agreed. I have shipped several cars from Florida to Massachusetts with never any problems like this. Stay clear.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE and unfortunately I am a victim. Definitely do not use if you are a service member they will create added stress to the already stressful pcs process.

Below is want I experienced with New Way:

- a month before my pcs leave started I booked new way to ship one of my vehicles. Deposit..175 and I was told then that it would be 350 due to carrier at drop off. I was told me booking early would lock me in for that quote..LIED

- Debra, the person who booked me, was pleasant however I was never able to speak with her about none of these issues. Either no one answered the phone or I was forwarded to another lady (who had poor customer service and was irritated with me and the legitimate concerns I had).

- originally quoted me for the above amount but later told me since there weren't carriers available for my area it would 950 - 1000 due to the carrier at drop off. * all this happened a day before my leave was set to start and me driving out of tx...smh. with so little time to react I was forced to go through with the pick up of my vehicle.

-IT DIDN'T STOP THERE..upon the arrival of the carrier, he told me the car was going to arrive in florida days before I would get there. I HAD NO ONE IN FLORIDA TO RECEIVE THE CAR! the carrier said he didn't know why New Way told me the wrong day of expected drop off.

I will be giving the contract and a sworn statement of what occurred to my installation legal office. In hopes of getting them "black listed" so that no other service member has to deal with this company.

Service cost: $1175

Contracted with them to move my car from Fla to Mass. They were mid priced so I figured a fair price and would not get surprises. Wrong..$100 more than their quote. They told my step mother a driver was on the way and made it seem I authorized the additional $. I was the one who signed the contract so they should not have asked her. When I called back they said it was too late to cancel, they then offered to split the difference and I agreed. Upon deliver of the vehicle I was charged the full amount. They have not done so . Car was shipped in Dec. They no longer respond to my request for refund .

Service cost: $650

I got into a contract for moving my household and car through New Way moving, Rachel told me about all promises and gave a low price. Once I got into the contract, that's it, there is no response after that, when I contact them they said they will cancel the contract and no refunds bcoz of the excess call which unfair. And they charged me $1000 more than what I was said and delays in pickup and delivery. You are threatened if you call them and blackmailed saying they will cancel the contract and won't pick up the stuff. Worst ever experience a customer can geet.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2500

New Way Moving Services (NWMS) out of Florida, increased the cost over signed contracted cost, within two days of the expected vehicle pickup date. NWMS required a Bank wire transfer (forced non-reversible deposit which in hind sight was a major red flag). When they change the contracted price so close to pickup date, you are either forced to pay more or loose out on the deposit. My wife and I are now out 250 and her vehicle will be stuck while she is underway with her ship back to San Diego. NWMS should be investigated by the Attorney General of Florida, and FTC for this scam. Phone support was anything but, as they were rude, argumentative, and loud.

Honestly, this company should be avoided at all costs (do not fall for their lower price, it is absolutely a lie). If you really want to try their services, do NOT use wire transfer as there is NO protections in case of fraud. They really set up a great scam scheme and we will be reporting it to the Florida Attorney Generals Office and the Federal Trade Commission for military consumer protection. We don't mind a loss of 250, we just want to make sure no one else gets scammed by this company ever again.

Searching for some shippers to move my motorcycle from Connecticut to Florida. Found a website we’re transporters bid for your work. After reviewing several bids New way moving services was the best price. So called left a message Michael called me back within five minutes spoke with him for a while felt comfortable and was very accommodating. Kept me posted when a driver was going to be in my area. Motorcycle is now in Florida I would recommend Michael at New way moving services Well be calling when I’m ready to send my truck. Thanks Again

I was very pleased with the service, including, from the beginning, the customer contact; Debra Williams was great with explaining everything involved with the whole process of booking the transport, the fees and delivery. I received an offer within days and was given the driver contact information. The driver was on time for the pick-up of the vehicle and delivery was very fast. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing vehicle transportation..
