Didn’t get my refund yet

I cancelled my service (Y2487970) on 10/19/22 before the 48h they give you for have a refund and I didn’t get it yet, I called them and the people from customer service transfer me with billing, on time the billing people took the call and they just told me to wait and leave me on hold for 5 minutes and then they hangout, the other 2 times the people from costumer service told me that they don’t take calls and I just have to leave a message and they will call me, I leave 2 message, first one last week and the second one this Monday 12/05 and no one contacted me yet, I was so polite with everyone I speak to and I just want my refund or know when is going to be issued, at the beginning they told me 30 business day that were completed last week.

So if the manager see this contact me. I will update this review as soon as they give me my refund.

Long-distance move from Kansas City, MO to Atlanta, GA

Do Not Use This Company - Do Not Trust This Company

The salesperson lied about the services they provided. I found this out on my moving day (after I had already paid them) they told me I needed to pay an extra 500.00 for a shuttle bus because the salesperson ordered the wrong truck. I then reached out to the salesperson and was told, "don't cancel; they were going to cover the extra cost." I called customer service to confirm, and they had no clue what I was referring to. I decided against paying an extra 500.00, canceled the move, and requested a refund. It has been 6 months, and I'm still emailing and calling for my refund. They have been unresponsive to me as well as the BBB. Stay clear. Do not use this company.

Long-distance move from Texas to Florida

Scammers, Liars, Cheats

Their front street address is a front as it is a rent a desk in a mall! The business address of record was illegally used according to the homeowner has been trying to get them to stop and has contacted the state. I too have been waiting for a refund of my deposit since June 0f 22. I have tried everything including small claims court, there is no one to serve the summons to. They won't respond to the BBB or the Fl Dept of Agriculture and Consumer affairs. They delay the refunds by saying we had the wrong address or we won't give you the refund because you have filed complaints.

Long-distance move from Englewood, CO to Kalamazoo, MI

Scam!!!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH Budget moving company, Navistar Van Lines and Cobra Van Lines. WARNING TO ANYONE MOVING OUT OF STATE. I went in search for a company to move me from Colorado to Michigan. I thought budget was a good place to start because it is reputable and well known. When requesting a quote for my move from Budget somehow my quote was outsourced by another company called Navistar Van Lines. When I asked why they reached out opposed to Budget their response was because Budget was overbooked and they handled the overflow. Later I found out that Navistar Van Lines is not a moving company at all but a broker. They are assigned to bring in business at any cost and collect a non refundable cashiers check deposit. Navistar lied to me about multiple things throughout my booking including the estimated cost for my move. They quoted my one room very small move at $1800 and collected half up front in certified funds for the non refundable deposit. They under quoted my move $1700 just to book my move and collect my deposit. ALMOST DOUBLE! At that point Navistar transferred me over to Cobra Van Lines the day before my move. Cobra were the actual movers. I did not speak to them until they arrived to pick up my things. Once they loaded my belongings they added fees for stairs, distance from the truck to my front door and a packing box for my TV that was wrapped in moving blankets and plastic wrapped shut. They said TVs require a box and they charged me $100 for 1 box. They charged me $200 for having to walk more than 70 feet to the truck and they charged me $400 for extra space in the truck. Navistar way under quoted for space in order to obtain my business. They also said stairs and packing supplies were free which is just not true when the actual moving company shows up. Like most people I had no choice but to pay it because I had 24 hours to be out of my apartment and if I canceled with the movers I lost my $900 deposit with Navistar. Navistar told me the estimated time for my things to be delivered was 5-7 days which was a flat out lie. They also told me that I could pay the remaining balance with a debit or credit card when my belongings arrived given the fact that I was moving out of state and would not have a bank in this state quite yet. That was also a flat out lie. When I asked the Moving Company, Cobra, how long it would take to have my belongings delivered they quoted me 7 to 14 days. Once the 14 days hit I called and they said it was contracted that they have up to 30 business days to get my belongings to the new location. They used every single one of those 30 business days. I have been without my belongings for over a month. I finally got a call from Cobra saying my belongings had been loaded onto a semi and were headed my way. They asked if a semi was able to fit in my driveway. I live 300 feet off of a main road in the middle of the woods which I informed Navistar about from the beginning. Cobra (the actual moving company) told me if my belongings cannot be directly unloaded from the semi then I would have to pay over $800 to have it pulled off the semi, put on a moving truck, and delivered. Not only that but I could not pay for it on my debit card. It needed to be in certified funds or cash. They said if I did not have it at the time of delivery, in full in either cash or certified funds, that they would put my belongings in a storage unit and my belongings would be auctioned off in 30 days. Every single transaction with my move besides the initial sign up was upsetting and cost me hundreds of dollars. Anyone who is employed by Budget, Navistar Van Lines, and Cobra Van Lines should be ashamed of themselves. They all know exactly what they are doing. They are stealing from people who price shopped and are on a budget. They are stealing from elderly people, low income people, and single moms looking to move for a better life. The people who work for this string of scams are degenerate crooks and they belong in jail. They use the fact that they are in possession of you necessities, your family heirlooms, you children’s memories to squeeze money out of you or you lose everything you own. Things that mean nothing to them but everything to you. DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THESE CRIMINALS. I am writing this in hopes that no one else has to go through what I did.

Long-distance move from Tucson, AZ to Owasso, OK

Moving household goods

We contacted Navistar back in February 2022 about moving our household goods from Tucson, Arizona to Owosso Oklahoma. We spoke with Dustin Ross who assured us that the price of $11,366.57 would take care of everything that we had to move, as the time drew closer to moving and they required a down payment of $5250. As we got closer to the move date, we had a call that said we needed to send an additional amount of money. they needed an additional $2500 in order to pick up our household goods and pack them on the day of the move. We got a call from USA LOGISTICS stating that they had been contracted to move our household goods and that we would have to write another check when they showed up at the house to move our goods. After loading everything on the truck, and having made a mess of all the packing, we were informed that we owed an additional $16,579.80. So our original quote at $11,366 has now jumped to $31,000. When they showed up to load us, there were nine people that showed up to pack our 1400 square-foot house and garage. They did not bring enough packing supplies in order to do it. Adequate adequately and put China and vintage glassware into wardrobe boxes. They just threw things into boxes did not label the boxes did not put any kind of padding around the boxes. When they got here to unload in Owosso, Oklahoma, we had to fork over an additional amount of money in order to secure our goods are they would not deliver them. They wanted everything in cash or a postal money order. we filed an insurance claim of over $20,000 with their insurance company and as up-to-date, exactly one year from the date they showed up and call themselves packing up our goods we still have not received the insurance check and a total amount of $462. Every time I call USA LOGISTICS I am told that they only have one person writing checks and she’ll get around to it when she gets around to it. I would never go through Navistar to book any type of moving they are a crooked company and lie about everything. They tell you all they are is a broker, and they broker it out to the cheapest and most ridiculous moving company that they can send it out today. Please be aware and do not be taken in like we were by Navistar our Dustin Ross. Thank you.

Long-distance move from Buckeye, AZ to Sherwood, AR

Long Distance from Buckeye Az to Sherwood Arkansas

I contacted Navistar Van lines 2/23/22 with my initial contact being Justin ,an estimator. Those I spoke with beyond Justin are: Christopher (dispatcher), Anthony Bucco(estimator), Scott Thomas (quality control), Michelle ,Sarah Capola and Rachele (customer service. (800 380 5098 x 10014.

March 3,2022: Story and promises:

1. A 53 foot TRUCK TO MAKE THE MOVE WORK

2. NO EXTRA COSTS

3. IF ANYTHING IS MISSED, WE WILL PICK IT UP.

4. A PROFESSIONAL CREW

None of this proved accurate nor provided.

After my initial contact with Justin,,,,,,, I was directed to Anthony Bucco to further the estimate.

He of course is on the phone and I, at home in Arizona. We virtually walked thru my home to get a cost.

His estimate was: $8,057.21. Load was 1713 cu.ft.

Christopher offered me a $500.00 moving credit in the meantime. several confirming calls with Anthony from Marc 4 thru 11th.all confirming the move.

March 17th: Scott Thomas calls with a need to verify the substance of the load (property to move). After this call Scott indicates a need to increase the load by 300 cubuc feet and requires an additional $2000.00 deposit beyond the already paid $2,175.00. Of course I had to proceed and thus giving the added deposit.

Navistar re assigned our move a carrier out of Van Nuys, California, USA LOGISTICS.

USA LOGISTICS personnel include: Genesis, Brenda, David the moving supervisor and Ben(no last name) the manager of USA LOGISTICS.

March 19th: Day of the move. Met with David the in charge supervisor. Crew shows up at 2:30 pm. He could only complain about the size of the load. I informed him it had been estimated, reviewed and by those at Navistar.

David said it will require an additional $13,300.00.

Once the load was removed from the house and placed on the street and our belongings will remain in Arizona and on the street unless he got his check holding my belongings HOSTAGE.

The first Box truck being used was half full in the 2+ hours they were loading. He then demanded the additional check and that this crew had further movers to do. I left and returned within 45 minutes with his check. The truck at this point was closed with the loading 5 foot lift gate filled with our property when there was yet still another truck to use.

He would not open the box truck. VERY ODD!!

He hurried me thru my house to verify all is gone (10 minutes time, had me sign the list that was virtually illegible and off he went.

As they drove away I was then able to identify many things left behind and he nor the crew came to retrieve them.

I tried calling Navistar to no avail. They're in Florida and closed for the day and it's Friday.

I had to rent a u haul trailer and load what was left and headed out the next morning to Arkansas (our new home.)

March 24th, 2022. The arrival of our property. Yes it did arrive on a 53 foot truck Trailer.

The trailer and crew to unload was operated by Travis Ackerman of Buckeye Arizona.

The trailer is but HALF full of our property. Why? because tha'ts all that it took to make the move possible.

This trailer, manufactured by Northwest Truck and Trailer402012th Ave .NW Fargo North Dakota with a Capacity of a 33 Cubic feet according to the manufacturer. It has a total of 11 sections. My load consisted of 5.5 sections. That's half and equates to 1650cu.ft.

The crew was not a pro moving crew.

I was due to pay another $7,000.00 or the load remains on the truck.

I've now paid $3,375.00 in deposits, $13,300.00 in Hostage demands while in Arizona, another $7,000 at the arrival in Arkansas not to mention the $500. rental for the U haul Trailer. I paid in total: $24,175.00 for an estimated move to cost $8,057.21. That's an over charge of$16,117.79

What I've done is called and texted Michele of Navistar on the very day of the move. ZERO REPLY.

The condition of our property was deplorable ranging from broken legs off antique chairs, living room chairs broken Harley windshields, broken dresser frames, and more.

After months of zero responses, I wrote emails and texted to Navistar specifically Michele and Sarah and Ben the USA LOGISTIC manager. I followed up with calls in the following weeks with zero responses or resolve in any way. this from September 12, October 17th, November 3rd, all to

and with USA LOGISTICS .

Promises from Sarah and Michele of Navistar to make contact with USA LOGISTICS Nothing.

Calls to Navistar December 4th, 6th and 12th. No results

January12, 2023 called Navistar. Zero results.

February2, 2023 filed with USDOT. Claim. # 100219738

February 24,2023, I attempted to contact Navistar and USA LOGISTICS. Nothing!

At the end of this all, I've lost a couple boxes that never made it to my new home containing photographs of my family of many years past beyond my years of aged 70 at the time. Photos of my parent as teens, young adults. It all gone.

the names within are accurate. The events are accurate. the dates are accurate. the stated damages are accurate. and yes I have pictures of such.

Bad Moving Company

If anyone has had Navistar move them recently please contact me because I have a few questions. What a rip off and they select actual movers that totally disregard the initial inventory and then jack up the price once your items are all over the driveway or on your lawn. Don’t do business with these brokers that act like they are an actual moving company
