Long-distance move from Mishawaka, IN to Americus, GA

SHIT SHOW

Hopefully Executive Van Lines do not EVER open under another name!! They are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! LONG STORY SHORT....sent the Bbb Worst Rated company to get our stuff and move us from Indiana to Georgia. Took over 3 weeks and 100 phone calls to finally get everything we owned from them. Every box was broke down, brand new desk broken, and numerous other broken items.

So many of our things are totally missing. These 2 companies owe us about $3000. Have called and written them both several times over the last year and a half with absolutely NO response.

Total Shit Show Company

Would not let me leave a 0 rating.

All did Well!

The movers showed up right on time. They were organized, had all the equipment essential to do the job, AND were cheerful. They helped do short business out of what could have been a long day. These guys were top-notch, and they took all means possible to protect the furniture they were moving and the floors and surrounding areas at both ends of the move. I would definitely recommend Executive Van Lines to anyone needing movers in the TX Area.

Hello Scott! Thank you for the kind words acknowledging our emphasis on attention to detail, setting proper expectations, and outstanding customer service. Please keep us in mind if you need movers again.

Long-distance move from Colton, CA to Midlothian, TX

This company is a scam

I got a quote under 2k after telling them 2k was my max. The caller assured me i had plenty of space to add stuff since i was paying for 300 cubic square feet. He said I had room for more boxes and furniture if need be, even told me he was surprised that I was not moving that many things. After the call where I got a quote and made a deposit, there was literally no way to reach these people if you have any questions or want to update your inventory, besides the quality assurance call which is scheduled. They don’t give you the number. After getting my quality assurance call I added a yoga mat and 2 shoe boxes and one folded up beach chair yet my total rose by more than $300 above budget. I have moved before with 300 cubic square feet so I know what that looks like. When i asked him to try to understand the sudden increase in price after i was guaranteed i still had space. He told me they were a five star service and couldn’t just stuff my things into the truck, they had to leave space because they were liable for my goods. He told me either way I already paid for a deposit and could not back out now because they do not refund and he would not be refunding me my money. He gave me attitude when I tried to understand the increase in price and instead of answering my questions he increased his voice to tell me that I was questioning whether or not he was doing his job right when all I did was ask a question about my move and space. I asked him whether or not he was going to answer it and he put me on hold and transferred. But little did I know that this was only the beginning of their 1star service. My move was scheduled for the 26th to the 28th because I didn’t want delays or issues based on previous reviews so I scheduled it ahead. The caller even tried to persuade me to schedule it for a later date because he claimed they were a five star service and I had no need to schedule earlier because my appointments were guaranteed. LIES!!!! I got a call that my appointment would be for the 28th the day before. On the 28th the truck was nowhere to be found, I called and no one answered so this was a no call no show. I was only able to text there after hours services which did not get back to me on time until later. They postponed my pick up to the 29th after giving me guarantees, then on the 29th my pick up got postponed for the 30th after no one showed up. Then on the 30th they postponed it yet again to 31st after no one showed up. I was supposed to move from California to Texas. I already paid my rent for Texas next month and these people do not want to move my stuff after collecting my money. They gave guarantees and assurances that have not held up. To think they even tried to get me to postpone the move to a later date on some lie about being a 5 star service. They are not five star anything.I initially left a review detailing my full 0-Starr experience but I received a call less than 5 minutes after to take down my review, that I would be compensated within a week. This was April 19, 3 weeks ago.I have been patient with these people. I called their customer service to resolve the issue yet again after emailing them and the lady said “ my compensation was underway but because I had threatened to share my experience with the general public I will not be compensated”I asked her how is leaving a review a threat?if they gave a 5 star performance my review would not be seen as a threat but because they gave a 0 star experience and they know this, they’re threatening me to not share my experience. They have refused to compensate me and yet they threatened me to not share my experience which makes no sense.I was supposed to be compensated 3 weeks ago,I waited. She was disrespectful and rude. Not to mention I labeled my boxes keep up so they know what direction to leave them, the boxes were sideways and upside down even though they were clearly labeled

Long-distance move from Seattle, WA to Madison, WI

Fraudulent, Deceitful practices

I signed a contract for a cross country move from Washington to Wisconsin. The price I was quoted was based on a 300 cu. foot move. I was very carful to pack my items within the contracted size. When the movers showed up, they told me I had 650 cu feet and would be charged an additional $5.50 per cubic foot. I knew I was right at 300 cu ft and 650 cu ft was a clear attempt to gouge me for more money. I called the owner of the moving truck and was told if I didn’t pay, he’d tell his guys to leave. I called Executive Van Lines to make a complaint and was told if I didn’t go through with the move, I’d lose my deposit. I was further concerned when I got a look inside the moving truck and saw how other peoples things were “packed” (photo included). I brought this to the attention of customer service at Executive Van Lines, going as far as sending photos, and was still told I’d lose my deposit if I didn’t go through with the move.

In order to get the price reduced I removed several pieces of large furniture, which included a dresser, two book cases, a storage rack, bedside table and a couple of lamps. After receiving my items in Wisconsin, my items had been poorly handled and with significant damage. I re-measured and photographed all my items. After being forced to get rid of several pieces of furniture, my move totaled 166 cu. feet. I was able to get a copy of the video footage showing all my items clearly being unloaded and confirms my inventory list. What’s more convenient is that I used standard moving boxes from Home Depot with the cubic footage of each size listed on their website. I have tried to contact the company with no success. My original move was contracted out for $2000. In the end, I paid $5500. I’ve already filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services. If no resolution is made I will file a lawsuit.

The salesperson is very dishonest

Be very careful with the pitch by the salesperson from Executive Van Line! When they pressure you to put down a deposit, they promise you can cancel your contract in the next 12 months, but they deliberately won't tell you they mean you can cancel the contract without getting your deposit back unless it is done within the next 48 hours! It is buried in the fine prints. Use caution before you pay.

All did well

We couldn't have asked for better service. They showed up on time and were keen to get started. After surveying what we had, they got straight to work loading up the truck. The prospect of a two-stop pick-up didn't faze them. On top of all that, it rained through most of the day. They took extra care to cover the furniture in blankets to prevent them from getting wet. The two guys were soaked from the rain and didn't complain once; they were more concerned about getting wet floors. They worked hard and wasted no time. I would recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate to work with them again.

SCAM DO NOT USE DO NOT USE

Moved from California to New York March 1st (currently March 20th and I still have not received my belongings). When they first reached out they let me know they ACCIDENTALLY left my TV at another delivery location... they asked if they should still deliver my stuff, I asked that they please get the tv first and then deliver... delivery was suppose to be today (3/20).. I got a call that they're headed my way but they only have 3 duffle bags of my stuff and have no idea where the rest of the stuff is...not to add I had to pay a fee for a large truck delivery in the city and when they guy called he said "I am just in a pick up truck can you come downstairs and get the stuff...." I told the driver I was not paying until he gave me all of my stuff... he said he would hold onto my duffle bags of clothes if I didn't PAY... ... I called executive van lines and Gavin (useless rep) hung UP ON ME. it has been 20 days, all my stuff is missing, I paid SO MUCH money for this shit. I will go to the ends of the world to make sure no one uses this company EVER again.

Long-distance move from Dekalb, IL to Monument, CO

Haven't moved yet, but off to a terrible start

Sales process seemed fair, company has good reviews. Sales rep, Tye, seemed awesome. I realized I was working with a broker, but Tye assured me he was my POC for entire move. Quote for $2400. About a week before the move, I had the "quality assurance" call with Mitch. He was late, wanted to reschedule for 8PM, I said no. He was clearly in a hurry - high pressure. Said that if I didn't agree to new price, he would just say that I had declined the "QA" call, so my inventory would be wrong. Said that if I didn't agree to new (+$900) quote, that they cannot meet the agreed upon date. Had to pay additional $500 "deposit" - he wasn't willing to work with me on inventory to get down to original quote, even though I feel the original cubic feet was the same. Tried calling Tye twice, never returned my calls. Called customer service, they were supposed to call me back today by noon. Still no call. I have no idea how this company has any good reviews. At this point, I just hope they show up to move my stuff. Payment is all cash/Zelle, so if I am screwed, I have no recourse. Beware!!

Under-estimated Inventory on Purpose - This is a broker not a mover!

Was given a firm quote after telling agent that number of boxes wasn't correct. He said not to worry that number is estimate and they add extra amount for a quote. Told him we were concerned the 26 Ft. truck was not big enough but he said they would provide whatever the size was needed for this move and the quote was firm at $17,500. They asked for a deposit of 1/3 the total cost to reserve with another 1/3 at pick up and balance upon delivery. Cool with this as the quote was considerably less than other mover quotes. Called by QA two days before move and he asked us to count the number of boxes which we did and told him there was much more than the quoted amount but was assured by salesman that didn't affect price. QA person put me on hold and then came back saying that we were way over quoted amount and the new cost would be $26,000!!! Had us over a barrel because we had to vacate our house in 2 days so had no other options but to go forward. Were told the trucker would call us to arrange date and time of pick up. We decided to call trucker ahead and glad we did because they had the moving arrangements incorrect plus sounded like a very disconnected company and indicated there would be additional charges! We are now waiting for them to be here in another day and this is the worse moving experience we've ever encountered. DO NOT USE EXECUTIVE VAN LINES - THEY'RE A SCAM SO BEWARE.

Brave Movers

I have had many horrible experience with moving, but all my apprehension was for zero with Executive Van Lines. Professional, savvy, careful, and accessible. I would use Executive Van Lines in a blink again without question.

Scam company, nonresponsive

This company is a scam.

On June 1 I spoke with a sales representative (Corey) about an estimate for a 300cf move from Chicago to Alexandria VA. I was given an estimate for the move and pressured into making a deposit with them. According to Corey, the deposit had to be made directly from my bank account (there is no payment protection). I was told that I would be able to update my inventory and get a revised estimate. When I realized I had more inventory than I initially estimated, I tried to contact Corey multiple times to revise my inventory: I called and emailed Executive Van Lines no fewer than 7 times, and they never responded. I ended up cancelling the move with them, because I would rather just risk a deposit than risk my personal belongings. I am still trying to get my deposit back, and am filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Recent Relocation

After reading several of the reviews posted, I have to agree Executive Van Lines is a scam. The company has absolutely no integrity, accountability or customer services. I have been dealing with issues since April, and they have yet to be resolved. I was referred to Moving Claims after repeated complaints, and this company is not much better. I have provided on multiple occasions copies of photos of damaged furniture, missing items, and a description of issues. Moving Claims has requested a copy of the bill of lading and inventory list from the actual movers, which we never received. I have tried reaching out to Executive Van Lines to see if they can help in obtaining these documents. The email addresses provided on their site are invalid, emails are kicked back as undeliverable, and I've waited hours on hold when I call the number listed. I even reached out to the sales rep that initially contacted me, and she will not respond to my messages or return calls. We were originally quoted $3120 to relocate a 1 bedroom apartment from Nashville TN to Austin TX. Upon our quality call, we informed the representative we had an additional 3 small boxes. The quote was then increased to reflect the additional items. Upon pick up, my daughter was told, she would need to pay an additional amount of money because her goods exceeded the limit initially quoted. Upon delivery, she was told she needed to pay another additional amount because she had steps. In total, we paid $5417. Also, upon delivery, the sofa, ottoman, and chair were unwrapped. The items packed in the ottoman were missing, the sofa had two large black oily stains on it, the coffee table was broken, the butler tray was broken, the kitchen wastebasket was dented, and the area rug was missing. Unfortunately, Executive Van Lines will NOT receive a favorable review or recommendation from me. This has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. This company is a "take the money and run" company.

Executive Van Lines (very poor service and will take your money)

This company is one of the most unprofessional moving crews. They aren't even the ones that move your household goods they hire other contractors to do it in which they do not have dates for when they will retrieve your items only estimates which is not okay if your moving within the area let alone across country. If anything happens during the moving process they will not help you due to the fact that they are not the ones actually moving your goods. I have tried countless times to reach my moving coordinator in which we found out he is no longer working for the company so his phone and email are not valid anymore. We were not notified of this and had no way in knowing what the next step would be. My partner and I ended up reaching customer service way before the 5 day window of when the pickup of goods would possibly be to cancel this transaction and we waited on the phone for 45 mins multiple times just to be told that people are too busy so they couldn't update us with any information and that support would forward our information to the cancellation department in which no one has reached out to us. I took the steps in reaching out to customer support through email 4 different times and no response. The company does not work with you and no one can take responsibility for actions that occurred other than giving excuses which are unacceptable and unprofessional. Every one has jobs so being busy is no excuse. Don't hire these people.

My horrible experience

I recently booked executive van lines 2

months ago for a move from Texas to North

Carolina my move is literally in a couple

days and I haven't heard from anyone. My

QA call was scheduled for Monday it is now

Wednesday still no communication. I am

seeking legal council to get my money back

that I paid to receive the worst service ever.

If you are thinking about hiring them for your

long distance move I strongly suggest that

you find a company that is more reputable,

honest and trust worthy. Literally been

waiting on hold to speak with someone as I

write this review. I paid a $700 deposit to

get screwed over.….now 3wks later And the lies continue along with no accountability on their end. I have been waiting over 2wks to receive a refund in which I was told it would be expedited within 5-7 days. I will continue to leave bad reviews on every review site about this janky company and their poor business practices. They take all of the time to reel you in but once you have taken the bait and you have paid your money no one is available, there’s absolutely no communication. And now customer service hangs up on me every time I call in asking about my money. I am left with no other choice but to seek legal cancel which is really ridiculous

Long-distance move from Miami Beach, FL to North Houston, TX

Caution: Do Not use Executive Van Lines

Caution: Do Not use This Company.

Executive Move Van lines is a third-party broker that will broker your move to

Dishonest-scandalous moving companies.

On March 31, 2022 we paid Executive for 58 boxes to be moved from Miami to

Houston Within 5 to 7 days.

When the movers arrived they stated although it was only 43 boxes, we were

missed quoted and had to pay an additional $475 and the move would Take a

minimum of 14 days and could take up to 21 days to arrive.

We immediately called Executive Van lines and got customer service rep Nicole on

a three-way call with the moving company,

As she argued with the moving company on Our behalf they agreed to only charge

an additional $175 for 15 less boxes which is still unacceptable and

the move would still take in access of 14 to 21 days.

The Moving company as well as Executive Van lines is in violation of the stated

written contract

When we refused to pay the additional monies the mover left

we requested a full refund of our deposit for not honoring the signed

contract.

On April 22, 2022 Executive Van lines management contacted us and stated they would refund our money but we would we would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and delete all negative reviews of this experience

We have done our part and complied with Executive requirement to take down all reviews.

To this date. Executive have not refunded our deposit have not answered emails or returned phone calls.

On August 13, 2022 I finally got through to customer service and the agent stated that they are so backed up with complaints and refunds it could take 3 to 4 months to get the refund resolved.

At this point we feel

Executive is refusing to refund

Therefore, we are re-posting our review

Only use a reputable moving company

not a third party Broker And certainly not this un ethical company

Long-distance move from Bastrop, TX to Tampa, FL

They aren't an actual moving company. They outsource everything

For anyone from the company who tries to dispute what I'm writing, my moving quote was #6132002. Their number is 888-261-0771, just in case they decide to start doing business as another name at some point.

For anyone who is considering using them, THEY ARE NOT A MOVING COMPANY. THEY ARE A BROKER. THEY DON'T EVEN YOUCH YOUR MERCHANDISE EVER!!!!!!

Hopefully you'll read this entire review but if you only read a little bit, THIS is the most important thing you need to know: Use local moving company to your house. Use a FULL SERVICE MOVING COMPANY, SOMEONE WHO DOES EVERYTHING AND DOES NOT OUTSOURCE ANYTHING!!!!! As local as you can get. If they give you a bullshit reason why they won't come out and do an in-person inventory (most of them will claim covid regulations which is a lie, because there are no covid regulations and restrictions in place ANYWHERE), that's your first red flag. Hang up and find someone else. If they don't tell you that they won't be the actual movers, you NEED TO ASK. If they say they don't actually touch your boxes, HANG UP THE PHONE AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE. If you don't believe me, just look through the endless list of shit reviews for Executive Van Lines and other moving companies just like them, pretty much any moving company registered in Florida for starters.

Oh and a heads up to Executive Van Lines if you are reading this - if you reach out to me and make this right, by paying me the $1552 you owe me for overcharging me for a full truck when I didn't actually get a full truck, I will remove my negative review. Until then, you can pound salt and I will duplicate this review on as many moving sites as I possibly can so that everyone knows not to ever give you a dime again.

What can we say about Executive? They are an absolute shit company. I spoke with at least 10 different people there. Dane Collins. April Brooks. Amanda Simmons. The list goes on. Oh and you better hope you don't get connected to the receptionist Dominique. Bitch with a very BAD attitude. And a total liar. Every word that came out of her mouth was a lie. I quoted her very specific details that I was told by numerous Executive employees and she told me they weren't true. People that worked there. Specific details I was told. She said they weren't true. Fucking pathetic. The titles are all the same and yet they keep changing the names. And once you speak with someone, don't expect to ever get that same person back on the phone. I have recordings of my calls with them. I have copies of every amended contract and how they did a total bait-and-switch move. One scumbag duped my wife into believing that we absolutely needed a full truck, he claimed, based on our list of items, that he had started as a mover and then worked his way up through the years. Swore up and down. Had been doing this for 15 years. Knew we needed a full truck. And then changed the price to a full truck and still managed to overcharge us $1552. But they claimed they did nothing wrong. When the truck showed up, there was already someone else's crap in it. Let's also mention that the truck was supposed to show up on May 19th between 12 and 4 pm. This was even after requesting an early morning pickup because of how much stuff we had. We get a call a little after 6 pm that there was allegedly a "blown tire" when they were still almost 2 hours away, delaying the pickup to the 20th, and we were leaving Texas on the 21st. Anyway, Truck arrives with crap on it. Call Executive and they say there's nothing they can do. All they can do is either do their best to fit everything or to send another truck in a day or two. A day or two. Knowing that we are leaving the state the next day, someone else is moving in to our house, and we have to be out. We had no choice except to let them "do their best". Three guys show up who look NOTHING close to professional movers. Only one spoke English and that was barely at best. I had to use Google Translate to communicate with the guy. How is this professional??? The next 10 hours were chaos. We did not realize just how awful a packing job they did until we got our stuff to start unpacking. Wardrobe boxes were a mess. Three of them had collapsed bars with the clothes that were hanging on them. Way too many clothes packed into boxes, which all ended up in a crushed heap at the bottom of the ones where the bars broke. All of my suits in a mangled heap. Expensive shoes just thrown in at the bottom of a box, crushed by other things that were thrown in. It was truly disgusting. Oh another issue here. I spoke with Tim Hudson who was the owner of the moving company that the movers actually came from (and by the way, has at least three different names that they operate under. 1) TR Moving Systems, 2) Pinnacle Moving Systems, 3) Colonial Van Line. All three are listed under the same number, 877-455-2099. As soon as I sent him pictures of damage, he ignored all calls and texts. THEY ARE ALL SCAMMERS!
