I was on a budget and was about to rent a moving company and see if I could find anyone to help me. Nationwide Moving Services Inc called me back with a solution. They told me that a truck going to california and added me to the move for a reasonable price. They were on time and very friendly. They made my move stress free and they were extremely efficient. I would encourage anyone wanting a reliable move to call Anna and use this company. She will take good care of you. They will take care of your items. Thank you Nationwide Moving Services Inc!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1650

We recently hired Nationwide Moving Services Inc to move us into a condo while our house is being renovated. The entire process from start to finish was great. I spoke to three other movers but I was not happy with the customer service experience even just booking the move. Day of the movers showed up on time, took great care to carefully wrap all of our things and made our move completely stress free. They were also really fast! I will be hiring them again when we move back to our house. No hesitation recommending them.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4405

I contracted this company to move my family to California. They purposely gave me a low-ball estimate to get my business and my deposit. They also showed up two days late and strung me along the entire 2 days pretending they were going to show up. After that deposit was paid everything went down hill from there. The movers that came were very unprofessional. Came in a rental truck. Wreaked of alcohol. Had no blankets or pads with them, and no boxes. They werent even movers. They said they would go to the store and get boxes but it would be extra. What kind of movers don't even have materials with them? I tried to explain that it was already on my contract but they didn't care. They tried to charge me triple my estimate on the day I had to be out of my house, and the day the new owners were coming in. When I called the person I booked with, his name was Alan Herzog, he refused to give me back my deposit, and even refused to move me unless I agreed to pay three times more with ZERO explanation. I kept asking Alan "do I have more stuff? Do I need more boxes packed?" but he refused to answer. His whole attitude had changed and he just kept saying "Thank you for your business I have to go now" over and over again very dismissively. After doing better research on this company after the fact I realize now they are just a shell company and not even a real moving company.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $19500

I contracted with this company Feb. 2021 for a move to another state April 2021. Received my furniture a week ago, 6 days after packing. Deceitful, refusal to take responsibility company that contracted with Insta Movers who broke more items than in any moves and I had to give driver cash that she said she had to give local moving company to shuttle from semi. Was informed by 3 dispatchers that no one looked at contracts because they had so many, when I had to explain to everyone that packing was part of my contact. My service rep gave me his cell phone number, email to keep in touch, keep him updated with inventory. I moved 2 years ago, I knew what I had. Faithfully kept him updated room by room, # boxes I packed myself. Good thing, nothing of my antiques that I packed were damaged. Closer to move, less response from service rep. Packers, mover arrived on final day of contract. Did not know they were packing, Took 12 hrs and at midnight, gave me "new" price $2300 more. I received email inventory from them a few days before. Unable to print(my printer), transferred to safari. Then when I tried to send to supervisor with complaints, unable to open any list, Message box said message expired, company not active. ????? Calls were met with rudeness, each company(Nationwide & Insta Movers ) would not assist in anything. Each said the other was responsible. I believe I was deliberately mislead on estimate. It was not the lowest or highest that I received. At midnight on the night of my move, it was the highest. I did my part and kept the service rep updated with my inventory. In fact he told me to email it to him so that I would have a record. He is the expert, not me. He gave me an estimate that was 900 some cubic feet and I ended up with 1450 cubic feet. He should have changed estimate with my list. I was still within their cancellation phase. When I saw the initial moving truck to take to a warehouse in a different state, I said the truck that I used to move 2 years ago was that size, and it had another load in it! I was told that there is always trouble with these brokers in FL. I feel their scam is to give you an estimate, never change it and then when your furniture , belongings is left hostage on their truck, you pay or you will not receive anything. I want to warn people to not use this company, do not use moving brokers at all. It was a horrible costly mistake for me.

This company is scam on all levels, they will try to talk nice to get your deposit, once they got it, they will transfer your move to horrible crappy moving no name people to ship your stuff. You will end up paying $2000 or more for your move. Thats how they got you to signed up and get your deposit. Then your stuff will never arrive in 2 months, when they arrive they will arrive damages because your belongings have been dropping off and on several times during that time. Please DO NOT USE THEM, Listen to the bad reviews. The bad reviews they will sneakily try to remove them.

Listen Todd, don't even try to say my name isn't under your database and you don't know me. I know whats you're trying to do, do the right thing.

BEWARE - Nationwide Moving are not honest, at least they weren’t in my experience with them. Their website doesn’t make it clear that they are a BROKER, not an actual moving company. I spoke to Thomas McGarry, Senior Moving Coordinator, Nationwide Moving Services (855-967-0102 Ext. 453) and shared my fears of the horrible moving stories. He assured me over and over again that his team were stellar. He kept contacting me and texting reviews that reflected this when in reality he omitted that they were brokers, and that he had no idea who would be assigned to move us. He was very responsive and convincing, and we felt assured and confident Nationwide Moving were the right moving company. We gave our $1131.64 deposit, and after that another $500.

The nightmare began when we got close to the pick-up date. We were told to make a payment cheque out to a company – Stop & Move LLC. We were puzzled and then horrified to find out they gave our move to another company and worse, this company had only TERRIBLE reviews (which included carelessness, theft, extortion, and even refusing to leave people’s homes or holding items hostage). We were victims to a classic bait and switch. We were stuck, as it was outside the cancellation period. Nationwide Moving did not offer us any options - such as another reputable moving company - thus we had no option but to cancel. Nationwide Moving said they were keeping my $1631.34 deposit, but later offered to return $500 if I signed a contract and promising to not complain. They said we had cancelled outside the allocated cancellation period (after they purposely made sure we wouldn’t know who they’d sold our contract to until the day before moving) and thus the deposit was lost.

It was a win-win for Nationwide Moving. Maybe someone savvy would have known better, but me, a 67-year old woman and her daughter didn’t stand a chance. Nationwide Moving took advantage of us, plain and simple, and got away with it. We ended up with packing our own stuff in U-boxes and shipping with U-Haul; not our envisioned route. It is shameful what Nationwide Moving did to us. Please be careful.

The only reason that this company gets a 3-star review is because they aren’t completely transparent, at least they weren’t in my experience with them. In my opinion their website doesn’t make it abundantly clear that they are a broker, not an actual moving company. I wanted to avoid a broker, but again it wasn’t clear that they were one so I requested a quote from them. I worked with a salesman named Adam, who seemed to blatantly misrepresent what their company was. He told me their headquarters was just moved to Florida and even mentioned a fleet of trucks that were kept there...you don’t have trucks if you are a broker...you do have them if you are a moving company. He kept mentioning “his guys” were great guys to work with, as if it was HIS crew, when in reality he likely had no idea who would be assigned to our job. It wasn’t until I read the fine print on the estimate that I realized they were a broker, unfortunately for me that was after we paid the deposit (yes, that part is my fault). Fortunately, that is where my bad review stops. Nationwide Moving Service’s customer service was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. At one point I also spoke with a guy named Todd in their office, who from my understanding was upper management? Both Todd and the customer service representatives I spoke with reassured me that the movers who got assigned to our move were very highly recommended. They were not wrong. We ended up with a company called Apartment Movers Plus and our experience with them was excellent. My only other complaint is communication. Nationwide told me the amounts I would need to pay at pickup and delivery, but they failed to tell me that the payment at delivery needed to be a money order or cash. They also called me Friday to confirm that the movers would be arriving between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday, but the actual moving company had us down for Sunday. Those two things ended up working out and not being a big deal, but they could have been very frustrating. Honestly, had their salesperson not appeared to misrepresent what they were as a company this would be a five star review. They had the best quote out of the ones I got, their office and customer service were very responsive and mostly helpful and we got paired with awesome movers. It is disappointing that they seem to feel they can’t be completely upfront and honest with their customers about what they are and aren’t in order to obtain our business.

I want to preface this by saying I never leave reviews. However, my experience was that poor that I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

From the moment I finished the consultation with Hamilton the experience went downhill. Hamilton provided me a quote of around $2800, and assured me my goods would be carefully delivered to the end destination in 10-14 days. He couldn't have been any further from the truth. From the moment the moving company arrived they immediately told me that the quote was wrong and that they wouldn't move a single box until i agreed to pay the increased price. This wouldn't be exact until everything was loaded on the truck - the estimate the driver gave me was a $200 increase to the original quote. Companies like Nationwide get you because you put down such a large deposit that if I wouldn't have agreed to the increase in price I would have lost my down payment of $1300. I agree to the increase and let them move start loading. Once the truck was loaded my end price increase was a little shy of $900 more then the original quote bringing my new price from $2800 up to $3700. I was told that they didn't know my bed was going to be so large, however i told them it was a king size bed and mattress with four drawers underneath the bed.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse, boy was i wrong. after 16 days without a word from the movers I finally called to learn that my goods hadn't even left the Seattle area and were sitting in a warehouse just outside of the city. They shared that they had 40 days from the first available delivery day to make good on there delivery of my items. My items were picked up on 3/10/21 and didn't arrive to me in Houston until either 4/19/21. Far exceeding the 10-14 days I was initially told. When i tried to reach out to Nationwide the response I received was basically better luck next time. They did however refund me $200, a small fraction of the additional money they charged me at pick-up.

When my things finally arrived the experience wasn't much better. My Road bike worth Several thousand dollars was sitting on it's frame (they had taken the wheels off the bike).

I honestly can't stress enough that if it was possible for me to leave them a zero star rating i would. I spoke with a driver who said the best moving service to use is Allied Vans becuase they don't outsource anything and the price they quote you up front is the final price you pay (no surprises going forward).

The gross incompetence from the company was either pure fraud or gross negligence. Either way DO NOT USE NATIONWIDE MOVING SERVICES. Save yourself the headache.

Nationwide Moving Services moving team did a thorough and impeccable job with my move. I've never gone through such a complete move before and I didn't realize that I underestimated the amount of stuff I had. My movers were very responsive with the initial phone call intake and accommodated a change in dates. The team that did the move was friendly and professional, and was careful and patient with disassembling and reassembling some large/expensive and somewhat complex furniture pieces. I've heard horror stories about other moving companies and I can without a doubt recommend Nationwide Moving Services for anyone looking for a painless moving experience.

First Binding estimate 4/12, $7929, then 2 days before move 5/6 after a virtual look, $13,945.00! After Cross Country Movers loads the truck, 5/8, the company Nationwide employed, $17, 403.00!!

Looks like this Senior Lady is being scammed for the move of a One bedroom and Den. I wrote a complaint to the DOT as it is illegal to change price once the truck is loaded.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4125

My husband looked Nationwide Moving Services up online. He called another van line up and that was how he found out about Nationwide Moving Services. We used them on our move from California to North Carolina. Our moving coordinator was great, very helpful, and easy to talk to. And the consultant was also very helpful and always available if there was a question. The moving crew was very good. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I was really impressed about how fast they packed up everything and moved. It was amazing. They were very organized. We had our things in storage for three months because the house wasn’t ready. And when we moved in and called up to have our items moved in, it was very quick.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2169

I was looking at a moving company and looking for like something that was more affordable that work out for me and my husband. Nationwide Moving Services was more affordable than other companies were asking for. I told my moving coordinator the things that I would need moved in the day. She immediately got back to me and told me that that would be no problem, that it would be two guys coming with a truck and that they would call me. And if I had any issues I could give her a call. They were really nice. They helped out a lot and it was really good. The driver and the crew were really good too. Nationwide Moving Services were really nice and friendly and they're way more affordable than other moving company.

We moved from Florida to Las Vegas. The consultant from Nationwide Moving Services worked with me and gave me a range of dates they would pick up and they did. They also delivered within the window range that they gave us so everything worked out well. They were excellent from the quote to the coordinator. And then the crew was very helpful, careful with their goods and they worked hard. I also had total access to get ahold of people and ask them questions. Overall, I’d recommend Nationwide Moving Services to anybody and if anybody wanted a reference, I'd give them a 10.

I choose according to how intelligent the people are who run an organization. The president of Nationwide Moving Services is my former student. He was highly disciplined and very intelligent, and the assistant was a former student, too. Nationwide Moving Services was very careful and the communication among the employees with me was wonderful. The move was a five-hour move from South Florida to North Florida, and they picked things up in two different places. I was moving a lot of really unique stuff that was breakable. We had a hurricane and I didn't know what was going to happen, but that didn't stop them from working hard. Everything came perfectly and their price was great as well. My experience was exceptional.

This was the worst experience with a moving company, since they are brokers they will not guarantee your move dates even though they supply an extra day. I scheduled my move a month in advance for a Friday with Saturday as my back up day. Received a call Friday a few hours before the scheduled arrival that they were running late for the 5 pm-7 pm window and would pick up Saturday between 5 pm and 7 pm. Saturday was the flex day they had given me so I was fine with this. Saturday afternoon I received a call that they were running behind and I would not be picked up until Sunday morning between 7 am and 9 am, first pick up of the day. This required me to rebook plane tickets, and rearrange all other move plans. Sunday at 10 am when I still had not seen nor heard from the movers I started calling every number I could find for Nationwide Moving (they are closed on the weekend), finally received a call that now the movers would be there between 2 pm and 4 pm. They did end up arriving around 11:30, however they did not have a dolly so had to leave part of the crew to wrap the furniture while another left for an hour to find a dolly. Everything was finally loaded by 4pm. The change in dates and times cost me approximately $500, Nationwide does not care since they are simply the brokers. When I asked the company that did the actual move when they had been booked it was one day prior to my move. Moving is stressful enough without the added headache and expense this company has caused. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend them for anyone.

Absolutely horrible service. Do not use this company!! Do yourself a favor and either rent a Uhaul or a Pod. They do nothing to help ensure a timely delivery. Our belongings have been sitting in a warehouse in LA for a month because the company they contracted out to cannot find a driver. I don't understand why they would take my money and things if they don't have a driver. And compensation for a late delivery is absurdly low: $20 a day for every business day it is late. Choose a different company!

This was just the most bungled, botched, and ridiculous experience of my life. Initial quote was for 820 Cubic feet and about $5,200. Ocean Moving and Storage shows up the day of the move and tells me that they are estimating 1480 Cubic Feet. Now. I went through every item BY HAND with Nationwide's QA team. We are talking HAND MEASURED CUBIC FOOTAGE and yet Ocean Moving and Storage tells me that we were off by OVER 600 CUBIC FEET!?!?!??! This subsequently cost me an additional $3,000 just to get them to put the stuff on the truck. I have a wife in my destination city who just gave birth to our 3 week old son with my 2 year old daughter and no furniture. What am I to do? They had me over a barrel and simply did not care.

Customer service is a joke. My rep, John Valeo, who swore to me that he would be available with any issues was a complete non-starter for helping any of the issues. I spoke with Stephen in Customer Service about 6 times and all he attributed it to was a colossal screw up on the estimate. He did nothing to resolve the issue. He offered nothing other than a "it is what it is" kinda thing.

How are you SO BAD at your job, that you misquoted me by over 80%????? Sad thing is, I was expecting at least an additional $500 to $1,000 because let's be honest, this is the moving company's MO. But $3,000??????? My guy, everyone in this process should be fired.

Run, and I MEAN RUN AWAY. These guys will sell you a poop sandwich disguised as a pot of gold. They are just as worthless as every other moving company out there.

I even discussed this with John before he provided me a quote. I told him the negative experiences I've had with moving companies in the past and he assured me that they had QA and other protocols in place to avoid this. Yet, here I stand: 5:15 p.m. on Friday when the movers showed up initially at 10:15 a.m. STILL waiting for them to get here to finish loading the truck and being forced to pay $3,000 more than my initial quote.

An absolute disgusting display of service and this company should be shut down by the DOT.

I shopped three different companies and went with Nationwide moving services. With their pricing and nationwide services. The rep that I dealt with was good. She was easy to answer questions and to talk to. The quote was exactly what I paid. The moving crew was fantastic. They broke two pieces, and they told us about it real quick. Other than that, we're really good. I've submitted the claim already. They have six months to reply to the claim. They try to do them within 90 days, so I decided if I don't hear something in about six months, then I'll start calling.
