We moved from Florida to Las Vegas. The consultant from Nationwide Moving Services worked with me and gave me a range of dates they would pick up and they did. They also delivered within the window range that they gave us so everything worked out well. They were excellent from the quote to the coordinator. And then the crew was very helpful, careful with their goods and they worked hard. I also had total access to get ahold of people and ask them questions. Overall, I’d recommend Nationwide Moving Services to anybody and if anybody wanted a reference, I'd give them a 10.

I choose according to how intelligent the people are who run an organization. The president of Nationwide Moving Services is my former student. He was highly disciplined and very intelligent, and the assistant was a former student, too. Nationwide Moving Services was very careful and the communication among the employees with me was wonderful. The move was a five-hour move from South Florida to North Florida, and they picked things up in two different places. I was moving a lot of really unique stuff that was breakable. We had a hurricane and I didn't know what was going to happen, but that didn't stop them from working hard. Everything came perfectly and their price was great as well. My experience was exceptional.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2147

I was looking at a moving company and looking for like something that was more affordable that work out for me and my husband. Nationwide Moving Services was more affordable than other companies were asking for. I told my moving coordinator the things that I would need moved in the day. She immediately got back to me and told me that that would be no problem, that it would be two guys coming with a truck and that they would call me. And if I had any issues I could give her a call. They were really nice. They helped out a lot and it was really good. The driver and the crew were really good too. Nationwide Moving Services were really nice and friendly and they're way more affordable than other moving company.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I actually have never written a review of anything before, but this company was so bad, I am going out of my way to write one on any website I can find so people do not use this company. I found some of the customer service reps to be rude (some were good too). But, more so, the logistics of this company are terrible. I had called to update the ledger for our move, and it resulted in a slight price estimate change - totally fine. But never received email confirmation with the new price. In addition, they give you a two day window when you book (and perhaps this is standard with other movers - not sure how common this is), but they would not solidify the date until the day before the move. I called the morning of the day before (a Friday for a Saturday or Sunday move) and they STILL didn't know what day it would be. They say you'll hear some time before 5 pm. It got to be 430, I still hadn't heard (and the office closes at 5pm for the weekend) so I call. They inform me they just found out "they are having truck issues and will not be able to make the move." I had to call to get that information (I am sure they would have called me... eventually... but the fact it is 430 pm the night before out move was just ridiculous. We had to scramble to get a rental truck and move ourselves. Then, on top of that, I did not receive email confirmation of the refund right away, or even an email confirming the cancellation.

Worst company ever. Do not use.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2300

This is the worst service I have ever paid for. Whatever you do, pick another company. Customer Service was unresponsive, Dispatchers were rude, unprofessional, and cursed at us on the phone, and movers were late for both pick up and delivery. The movers showed up 23h late for pick up and I was unable to communicate with them prior to it, so I was sitting for an entire day in the middle of my boxes waiting for them to show up and they never did. It is incredibly frustrating if you are working full-time and taking the day off work waiting for movers to show up, for them to ultimately arrive a day late. Same thing for delivery, my items were delivered 5 days late after little to no communication and I had to sleep on an air mattress in an empty apartment for the entire time. I called everyday to get an update on my items and was met with unprofessionalism and disrespect. Customer Service was unable to locate my items and at some point told me that I would be "lucky if my items were to be delivered within the next 2 weeks." I called everyday for 5 days, and everyday they told be that my items would be delivered by the "end of the day." At some point, one of the agents started to ignore my messages and to screen my calls. And cherry on top, they lost a table and broke another table. I ultimately got on the phone with a manager who acknowledged how outrageous the situation was and she offered a discount. Little did I know that the discount would be of a $100, which is quite frankly a joke when you compare it to everything we have been through to get our items from point A (Washington DC) to point B (New York City). Bottom line is, don't do business with them, it will be a nightmare, and the price is not worth it.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2000

-On 4/6 I contracted with Nationwide moving service for my move from Virginia to Washington. The move was scheduled for 6/28 (pack) and 6/29 (move). I was quoted at $16300 and paid a deposit of $6391. I sent a list of my goods and also sent an inventory list, that another moving company, who had face timed, me had sent. [Attached]. I worked with Collin, who was great during the sales pitch but would never respond closer to the move.

-On 6/28, a representative from what I later found out to be, Western Van Lines (subcontracted by Nationwide Moving Services), called me and said that pick up would be at my home on 6/29, not 6/28. When I inquired about packing, they said “we will send some extra guys.” I told them my house was 4000 sq ft + and that it would be a major haul to pack and move the house in one day, but he told me no one would be coming that day.

-On 6/29 two men in an Enterprise truck showed up to move my house. They told me that they were there to pack today and move on 6/30. Upon looking at my house, they then told me that the estimate had gone to $25151 and had the original estimate listed erroneously listed as $18658. Over a three-hour period, I called Nationwide numerous times and spoke to Annie. She said they only use these guys “when they are busy.” After being quoted $25151 [attached], the movers came back and verbally said the quote was actually ~$36000. We declined their services and asked them to leave.

After they left, Frank called and said that he had another moving company out of New Jersey, that could do the job for $29000. When I asked about the company’s reputation, he said he “doesn’t look at reviews.”

-On 6/30 I was offered a deposit refund of $3195 even though the quote had ballooned to 100% + the original quote. I am requesting my entire deposit back through my bank.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $16300

We moved to a new neighborhood about five miles down the road and got Nationwide Moving Services to move our furniture. Initially, a different company quoted me something higher. And I talked to few other companies and someone else came in just a little lower. And then, Nationwide Moving Services was able to come even lower than that. The quote they gave me was good and very fair. The rep who assisted me was able to answer all my questions, and everything was simple and easy. The moving crew was very friendly too. They did a great job, and they were also able to answer any questions that we had. They did the wrapping of the furniture and they finished moving in a little less time than we had estimated. They were moving the entire day and the guys were able to get done an hour and a half earlier. It was a very easy experience. Everyone I worked with was great. If I happen to move again, I definitely would use them again.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3258

We have been waiting for a month for things to be delivered. Customer service is rude and absolutely horrendous! We were quoted on thing to be told another thing. If you are older, they will try to get you by stating there is a mandatory gratuity. They originally tried to make my grandmother pay $300 “gratuity” instead they only “charged” her $150. We call almost daily to find where our things are. We were told we would have our stuff on one date, they never showed. Then we were told no that is the day they put as the first available “delivery” date which was not told to us. Then we were told it was being loaded and in transit, and yet here we are 2 weeks later, and our things have still not arrived. This is the most unprofessional company and has been a horrifying experience. Steer clear of this company. Legal counsel is now being brought in due to them completely giving the run around.
