Buyer Beware!!! I was sold a bill of goods that ended up being filled with lies. I was given an estimate over the phone, given a discount, told how my things would be handled with care, etc. I specified my move had to be done at a certain time and was told it would happen. Every time someone from Nationwide Moving contacted me, I reiterated how important it was that the move was done in this time frame and each time was told it was in my file and was not a problem. Imagine my surprise when I get a phone call the day before the move from the RUDEST customer service rep I have ever dealt with to be told the move was not happening in my time frame. The driver shows up in a box truck--which he did tell me on the phone he was getting--and tells me he will transport everything to the moving van. I asked why, and he said it was always done that way. Before loading the box truck, he tells us we have to pay 70% of the balance before they will load the truck, and it has to be cash or a money order AND there is a $750 fee for the box truck! (NEVER have I had this happen before!!!) Trying to get cash on a Friday night when the banks are already closed was not happening, so my husband managed to get a money order from Kroger! At the end of the loading process, the driver comes in the house to do his paperwork and tells us our move took up more room than estimated, so it jumped from $2,075.00 to $4, 593.00!!! He had no idea when our things were coming because Nationwide brokered him to load the truck, and someone else was being brokered to deliver our things! WHAT??? I was never told Nationwide Moving was a broker! I called Nationwide Moving to complain on Monday, no answer. I reached my salesman today who denied any wrong doing and transferred me to customer service. What a joke--service??? Everything was my fault because I did not read the contract closely enough, they cannot take any money off because it was my fault, etc. I still have no idea when my things are arriving because the company they brokered to deliver my things is not answering the phone.

I know this review is long, and I gave them one star because I had to choose one, but PLEASE do your research before you hire this company. Better yet, do NOT hire this company. I plan on contacting the BBB in Delray, FL where they are based as well as the US Department of Transportation.

We have moved to seven different states in our 46 years of marriage. I may have had things broken during a move, but I was NEVER straight up lied to by a moving company before using these shysters!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I used NationWide Moving Services to move from Tennessee to Florida. The entire team was efficient! The quoting process was quick and efficient. I did have specific requirements as to where my things were going to be delivered and getting in touch with someone who could help me was surprisingly easy!

This was my first long distance move and I was very nervous about choosing a company. Moving is never easy but long distance just seemed more daunting. This company and team were so helpful in calming my nerves. I am a big communication person and they were great with staying in touch and talking with me. When I first booked the team answered all of my questions and were kind and responsive walking me through how the process works. By the end of the conversation I was confident that all of my things would be safely delivered with no harm done.

When it was time for moving day the team they sent arrived on time and in good spirits! They got right to work and were quick and efficient. They were careful with my items and I really appreciated the care they took. Even with a complicated delivery they were great working with me and everything arrived unharmed. My biggest concern was things getting lost and broken throughout the trip. Everything was unloaded fast and I was able to quickly get started with unpacking so much faster than I ever would moving on my own.

Overall the entire team from the beginning of this adventure until the end was great! They were incredibly helpful every step of the way. My stuff was safely delivered within a timely manner. If I were to move again I would reuse this company and even recommend them to my friends and family.

I used NationWide Moving services recently and the experience was mostly positive. Overall, if I had to do it again I would recommend the service for anyone looking for long distance movers. The workers were quick and respondent to my needs, and they were able to make the process as easy as I could have imagined it to be.

As a first time mover, I wasn’t sure who to contract, but I had heard from neighbors that the service they used was NationWide Moving, so I decided to give it a try. Within a day we were able to set up the entire moving process, and the team would provide me with regular updates. The quote they provided was well below what other services were offering, and so we decided to contract them.

The team was able to explain the moving process from beginning to end, and never once did I feel like I was left out of loop. The furniture was properly disassembled, and high value items were packaged and transported with the care they deserved. We were able to move everything in a timely fashion, and they even help us get set up in our new place, free of charge.

The only negative comment I must say is that I wish the insurance was explained a bit better. Had I known the level of care they placed into the packaging and transport process, I would have not purchased as much insurance as I had. Nevertheless, I ultimately have no regrets and the cost savings we had outweighed any negative experiences.

Transporting our home goods was definitely the most stressful part of the moving process, but NationWide Moving made it infinitely better than what we were imagining. They are professional, courteous, careful, and efficient. If I decide to move again, I know exactly who to call.

I recently used Nationwide Moving services Inc. for a long-distance move, and I am very satisfied with the level of service I received. From the initial quote process to the delivery of my things, I was impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the entire team.

I have had to use past companies for other long-distance moves, and I did not have a great experience with them so I wasn’t looking forward to having to do it again, but I can’t lie these guys made the process SOOO much easier. They were hard workers and did their job fast but thorough which made me happy.

The representative who I spoke with about the quote was knowledgeable and patient, they answered all my questions and provided me with a fair estimate for free. On moving day, the team arrived on time and ready to work. They were all friendly and respectful, taking great care of my belongings.

The delivery of my things was just as smooth as the pick-up. The team arrived on the agreed-upon time and quickly got to work unloading and setting up my furniture. They were careful and thorough, making sure that everything was placed exactly where I needed it. I was happy with the attention to detail through the process. Nothing was broken, bumped, or scratched which made me happy because that was my biggest concern.

One of the standout features of Nationwide was their great communication. I was kept informed though the process with full transparency. This level of disclosure put my mind at ease and made the moving experience much less stressful.

Overall thumbs up to these guys. They were professional and timely and took great care of my things with great communication with what they were doing. Their attention to detail made me confident in the process. They made sure to answer or fix any problems I had with the process. Definitely will use if I move again. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable and stress-free moving service!

I recently relocated and used Nationwide Moving Company, and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff at National Moving Company gave me outstanding support and service from beginning to end, which made the entire moving experience simple and stress-free.

First of all, there was fantastic communication. Whether it was by phone or email, the customer support staff promptly and kindly addressed all of my anxieties and worries. They kept me informed every step of the way, from getting the original price to having my goods delivered to my new house. I felt confident and at ease with Nationwide Moving because of their attention to detail and willingness to alleviate any worries I had.

Just as impressive was the moving operation itself. The moving crew was extremely polite and professional, and they showed up on time. They handled all of my possessions with exceptional care, making sure that everything was carefully wrapped and packed to avoid any damage during shipment. They were also really effective, finishing the whole operation quickly and driving quite a distance while also paying attention to the little things.

But what really stood out to me was how adaptable and accommodating the Nationwide Moving Company staff was. They were easily able to modify their schedule to meet my demands when I had to make a few last-minute alterations to my relocation date. Additionally, they went above and above by assisting me with unpacking some of my belongings and setting up furniture in my new home, which I really appreciated

Overall. I wholeheartedly endorse International Moving Company to anyone searching for a long-distance and skilled moving company. They distinguish themselves from other moving firms because of their superior customer service, careful attention to detail, and good communication. Although moving can be a stressful event, Nationwide Moving Company made the entire process easy and effortless. The Nationwide Moving Company is to be praised for making my move such a nice experience.

The company requires a deposit and allows you to cancel within 48 hours to receive your deposit back if your moving plans change. I cancelled within 24 hours, sent an email to the specified address, and called the selling agent Emmett.

Three months after canceling the move, I have not received a refund (more than $2k). Despite calling customer service several times, each time to be told either they could not help me or that they would call me back after talking to billing, I have had no luck in getting a refund from this company.

My recommendation: Stay away

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7090

Please for the love of God do not use this company. They screwed us over big time. Brandon Wilson was the sales representative. I told him I’d be moving TWO ROOMS WORTH of stuff. He then asked me to list what big furniture items I have so I mentioned: two dressers, two night stands, two tvs, a bed, bed frame, etc. Little did I know that list was what he was charging me for and documented that that was ALL I was moving. So when the ACTUAL moving company (I had no clue that National Moving Services was a third party “broker”) came to grab our stuff the price changed from $2,500 to $6,600. I didn’t know I needed to include how much clothes and small items there would be- again I told Brandon TWO rooms worth. He only reported the furniture.

A couple days after my initial phone call with Brandon Wilson, I also asked him to add a couch to our list and update our destination address.. he didn’t even do that. My first call with him was on May 9th, telling him I would need the items by May 25th (moving from California to Virginia). He said I would receive the items by May 24th or the 25th.. come to find out after talking with the ACTUAL moving company, it will be around 30 business days. When I asked how much room on the truck we have, Brandon told me 26ft. My understanding was that we had a 26ft truck for ourselves to pack two rooms worth of stuff for $2,500. The actual moving company said that the truck will be shared with other people’s stuff and then taken to a warehouse, and that everything Brandon documented on the contract was not accurate. The moving company informed me that he sees this happen every day and that they screw people over who have no idea what they are doing. He said to never go through a broker (again I didn’t even know they were a broker). The actual moving company had so many additional charges - for boxes, taking a tv down, asking for a weigh slip, putting cardboard around a dresser, etc. NMS basically takes your money to get you in touch with a real moving company who will then charge you for the accurate amount you’re shipping. Again, Brandon made the situation seem completely different. It was basically a “bait & switch”.

After Brandon from NMS, received my money, he was no longer responding to my texts/questions about details and adding a couch to the list. After I found out all this stuff from the actual moving company, I then confronted him via text about screwing me over. He THEN replied and was incredibly rude (was almost a bit threatening). It was incredibly unprofessional. He told me “learn how to read”. And when I told him I’d be writing a review with his name, he said “good luck”. I was in shock with the disgusting customer service. Brandon provided me inaccurate and false information via phone and text. When I tried to go back to the link they provided so I can look at the quote and re-read their terms, the link was no longer available.. of course. I then emailed asking for a PDF of it, once they sent it I realized they changed the sales representative name to a Frank Anthony- whom I’ve never spoke to. I understand they have written terms in the contract but Brandon should have communicated accurately. My husband is in the military and we were ordered a quick move so we’ve been under a lot of stress - this was the last thing we needed.

NMS is not BBB accredited and there are hundreds of horrible reviews within the past year - all people experiencing with the same issue. I wish I did more research before agreeing to use them. I am furious.

I had a great experience from the moment I called the National Moving Services Inc to the moment I moved in. The manager was really accommodating and easy to get a touch of (I had to delay my move multiple times). Obtaining the required date and time was never a problem for me. On the day of my move, two more men arrived to help. Due to construction concerns at my apartment, my move took a little longer than expected, but the guys were absolutely nice! All of my belongings arrived at my new home undamaged, as far as I can tell

This company moved me! What an amazing experience! I was so worried about my items being damaged and worried about having issues with customs. I was assured that they would handle everything with care. They held to their word! The packaging was amazing! They took pride in making sure that I was a satisfied customer. I am completely and utterly satisfied with this company and I would recommend this to everybody! Thank you, guys, so much for relieving me of so much stress!

From initially generating an estimate that was accurate through to the final billing process, to sending an excellent packing team to wrap and pick up our goods, to connecting us with a very efficient local expeditor and customs broker at the destination, they did a fantastic job. They also provided excellent customer service, we’re always ready to answer our questions and went out of their way to advise us and inform us of how to pack and prepare our shipment as efficiently as possible.

I recently moved from Ohio to Massachusetts. My experience with National moving company was a poor for the Ohio portion.

Unprofessional Movers

The movers for the pick-up in Ohio were unprofessional. It was 2 men. The overweight white man from Kentucky/Hamilton, OH seemed mentally challenged. Within minutes of arriving he asked to use my bathroom and was in there for a very long time. Doing a #2, I guess. Then he was farting all through the move in front of me and my family. After that, he began talking about Nazi’s and Hitler poisoning Jews during WWII with candy bars. (Yes, he actually said that! I was shocked.) He was talking so much that the move-time was greatly extended. For a 2 bedroom apartment, it took them 4 hours. Although my family packed up most of the boxes beforehand. Also, there was not enough room on the truck for all of my belongings. My bookstands, exercise bike, and other belongings were left behind and had to be thrown out. They said the dispatch did not tell them the accurate information about how much room I needed. The mentally challenged mover actually begin talking to my neighbors to give away my furniture instead of trying to fit it on the truck. It was just HORRIBLE!!!

Hidden Costs

The quote I was given was false. The movers actually added over an extra $900 in costs, including an extra $75.00 because they had to walk up a few stairs. The main issue was when I received the initial quote, I called back to the main number to let them know items were missing from the itinerary. Customer Service told me to tell my movers when they get there. This should have never happened, customer service should have updated them and let the movers know BEFORE they arrived at my place. Overall, it was a stressful and poor experience. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. Find another that is more professional.

The staff was adaptable to my requirements and highly professional. They also offered complete packing services and showed up early on Sunday morning with a staff to do so. I was astounded at how well they handled my items with such care. My belongings were packaged and put away in boxes awaiting the arrival of the next crew. My furniture was completely covered with blankets and plastic. The walls, flooring, and surroundings were all quite well-shielded. The following day, the following group showed up promptly and early! They quickly carried everything to the truck, and we soon left. They set up all of my beds, furniture, and other items when they arrived at my new house, and unloaded my clothes, and other items. I was able to comfortably settle into my new place easily.

This personal move went extremely well. They arrived exactly at the time they had said they'd be there and they immediately got to work. The movers were all quick and professional and everything arrived in tact with no issues, scratches, broken furniture, etc. The total move took less than the time estimated and therefore was cheaper than estimated as well. Our movers were Carlos, Brian and Mike and Carlos as the leader did an excellent job. We'd definitely recommend using them to anyone and would use them again in the future.
