I used to live in a 3rd floor walkup apartment. I knew it was going to be an issue for the movers. But the men from Nationwide Moving Services made it seem like nothing. They carried heavy pieces of furniture down the stairs as if they were carrying Styrofoam. The sheer strength the men had was admirable. They took great care of our breakables while packing them. They did use a lot of packing materials, which are not free, but it was only to safeguard my expensive valuables. The whole process went very smoothly. The delivery was made on time and everything arrived safely. I was so happy for hiring these guys.

We hired Nationwide Moving Services as our long distance movers. Never moving across state lines before caused a great deal of anxiety for me, but they managed to pull it off seamlessly. The workers who helped us were very polite and accommodated all of our unusual requests. They did a great job and we received everything just the way it had been shipped with no damage and with everything accounted for. I definitely would recommend them if you are looking for reliable movers.

Nationwide Moving Services is a broker, they take your money and sendsub-contractors with a Penske truck to your home.

I feel like they either purposely underestimate the cu ft space you will need, their

estimator is unskilled, or their software is grossly inaccurate.

Their estimate was off (low) by approx. 85% - and we ended up putting less items on the truck - too good to be true I guess.

When we complained they told us we had bulkier items amounting to more cu ft. They added additional like like more bubble wrap, and duplicated a tv wrapping charge

When the sub-contracted movers show up, they will then give you the actual price of the move, - - after all your stuff is on the truck.

The movers told us that NMS CONSISTENCY gives inaccurate and lower estimates.

My move went from approx. 2k to 4K.

Our complaints and dozens of phone calls got us a $500credit - in my opinion, it was obvious by the supervisors tone, that they could care less about their lack of estimator accuracy.

I’ve used Nationwide Moving Services before and have experienced firsthand the level of quality the company provides. Not only did the crew meet those expectations, they exceeded it. This was a big move done under adverse weather conditions. My family deeply appreciated the hard work and professionalism of the crew (and, as a note, Max was an amazing point man). Next time we move-which hopefully won’t be any time soon-we will definitely use you folks and I would recommend you to anyone.

Don't ever trust this company. Everything the sales told you when they get your deposit is a liar. My sales was Evan Parana who seemed extremely polite, professional and responsive to get the deal done. Once you paid the deposit, you will never able to get hold of him again. Their customer service people would yell at me over the phone and deny anything their sales have promised, and charge me all kinds of fees. They are a broker and they hire a few guys to do the moving with a Penske truck. We agreed for a delivery (at the destination) on Feb.27th. They called me in that evening telling me their driver got COVID and have to reschedule to the following Wed (5 days later) so we had to sleep on the floor. During the next Wed no one showed up and no one called. When I called I was told the new time is that Friday, then it moved to Sat. Finally on Sat afternoon two guys showed up with a Penske truck and only brought less than 1/3 of my stuff. Lots of furniture was damaged and mattress were stained. 3 days later they deliver another few boxes. Today is Mar.26, and no one has called me back telling me when they are going to deliver the rest of my stuff. And I paid almost $10000 for this shit company. I have reason to believe all the positive reviews here are fake. I highly recommend you to stay away from this company! If I could give a zero rating I would.

These guy are everything that’s wrong with moving industry. BS up front, underestimating your volume, terrible handling your goods and delivery happens sometime but not what they tell you. My costs were 25% above estimate, didn’t pick up on time, busted a bunch of our stuff. These guys are scamming brokers and you have no control who they had you off to. Deal directly with the guys hauling your stuff. I thought I was experienced to not go scammed, I was wrong. Don’t do business with these crooks

HORRIBLE… They are criminal. Sign you up for a move,but use subcontractors to move you. Not professionals by the way. Your price will likely change based on numerous items throughout the ordeal. The move day comes and then once your items are packed, they charge you a quote that is bigger than the original quote—$1600more. But now, you have no choice. You ask the driver to speak to their supervisor about the additional cost & he refer a you to the subcontractor’s contact. The subcontractor says that’s the price but they’ll look into it once they receive the paperwork. You follow up with nationwide and they say that you already signed the contract with the subcontractor and there’s nothing they can do about it. You are not happy but you need your stuff moved. You call for almost 2 weeks and get no answer. Then it’s time to deliver your stuff but before they start, they want the remaining balance—of the inflated amount that they said they would review but never did. But by now you are over it and just want your stuff. At this point your +$1600 over the initial amount but what can you do? NEVER use them again and tell anyone else who’s listening not to either.

The folks over at Nationwide Moving Services were super professional. They answered any questions I had, and they were able to meet my expectations. They helped me pack up my 3-bedroom-house and unpack everything in the new house in Fort Lauderdale for a reasonable price. My mother-in-law’s China cabinet and all of its contents were wrapped, packed, and unloaded without losing a single glass shard. This is almost unheard of for a moving company! Everything arrived safely and I am so grateful!

Worst experience ever!!! Final moving cost was twice original estimate with no change in inventory, except I had less than listed. Actual movers added additional charges for everything, doubled the square footage that was estimated, gave little to no notice of when they would arrive, were late for both pick-up and delivery, damaged furniture, tried to get me to pay mover directly rather than moving company to "save me money". I filed a damage claim and have gotten nothing so far. Original agent (Joe) was supposed to explain insurance options and did not. Stay away!!!

I contracted with Nationwide Moving Services (a company with 5 star reviews) to move my belongings from Oregon to Idaho. They then subcontracted Northwest Relocation without informing me. When NW Relocation delivered my property, I was horrified to see parts of my bedroom set strapped to the OUTSIDE of the truck and obviously destroyed. The movers irreparably and carelessly damaged my hardwood cherry estate bed and other family heirlooms. They crushed boxes marked fragile, and literally threw them off of the truck onto the ground with a complete disregard for the items contained within. They punched a hole in my living room wall which had just been professionally textured. I was advised by the movers that if I filed a claim with Anthem Claim Management that I would be reimbursed for all the damage to my property and our residence. I spent a considerable amount of time providing the data required for reimbursement. More than three months after submitting the claim, I was offered $132 to compensate for $6458 in damages. Both Nationwide and NW Relocation refused to apologize or make appropriate restitution for my loss. Nationwide Moving Services offered me $500 provided I remained silent and not write reviews online to factually articulate my experience. I refused to take their "hush" money so others don't get victimized by them the way I did. this company embodied my biggest fears about having a company move my personal property. Don't let my nightmare be yours. Both companies clearly didn't care about my property, and they wont care about yours either. If you're reading this review, you have been warned...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Biggest scam ever. They are SUB-CONTRACTORS. They will LIE AND LIE about the price for the move. They sub contracted another horrible company, Jackson movers. First off, the mover showed up 8 hours late and they all barely spoke English. One of them broke my dresser while moving it and still added it onto the inventory list even though I had to trash it. Then they had the AUDACITY TO OVERCHARGE ME $1000 OVER MY ORIGINAL QUOTE. When I asked the guy why, he said I went over “my quoted square footage” and I asked him for proof and he refused to give it to me. I tried to get the answer from the RUDEST customer service department I’ve ever dealt with in my life. All they did was tell me the manager would call me with proof of why I was overcharged, and of course I never got my answer. I was moving from TX to FL, which is only 4 states away, first I didn’t hear from these people for two weeks. After I called after two weeks they said my stuff was still sitting in storage!!! Finally a WHOLE MONTH WENT BEFORE I RECEIVED MY STUFF. After a month went by, I told the company I was not available for 3 days for the shipment, they said they can’t guarantee for it not to be delivered on these days and I would be charged a redelivery fee. The “customer service department” is the RUDEST AND LEAST HELPFUL people I’ve ever had to deal with. Finally after a month with barely any communication, the movers came and were AGAIN 8 hours LATE. MOST OF MY STUFF CAME BROKEN!!!!! Do yourself a favor and get a real reputable moving company because this place is an absolute scam.

Nationwide Moving Services is definitely one of the best moving companies. I have used them 4 times, for both cross-country and out of state moves. Professional movers who are employees of the company do their job accurately and it saves the clients lots of money. The movers I have had in the past took great care of your items. They are helpful and polite. Their estimates are always on point. I've had companies provide an estimate to find out they are low balled to get the job. Their manager has provided estimates that turn out to be exact, he knows his business. I always think the highest compliment is a referral. I have referred them to several friends with the same great result.
