Moving long distances is a hassle. I know this, having moved from the Midwest to the east coast and back again. I had heard about Nationwide Moving Services' reputation for being the go-to for long distance movers, and I couldn't have been happier with the choice I made. The price seems steep, but compared to other companies I have moved with, Nationwide is both a less costly option as well as worth the cost for the value you receive as their customer. If I have to move across the country again, I would book with them.

My partner and I had to make a last minute move for work and we were struggling to organize everything within the time frame that we had. Luckily, we stumbled upon Nationwide Moving Services online. It was the best thing about our move. We usually rent a truck on our own time and spend hours upon hours packing and loading, unloading, unpacking. But this time made all the difference, in all the best ways. They were on time, very courteous and considerate of our things, and friendly. I was a little scared to use a service like this, being new to it, but it was very simple and I can't get over how much of a difference it made to our move! I will always use this service now. I recommend it to anyone who wants a quick, easy, efficient move.

Nationwide Moving Services is one of the easiest long-distance moving companies I've worked . traveling nurse and move very often, sometimes with relocation services, and sometimes not. With my most recent move, I did not have assistance from my employer with relocation planning. Nationwide was able to assist me with every aspect of relocating and took very good care of the items from my home. I had no problem paying for quality, as this company offers excellent customer service and is quickly responsive. Many options within my budget were offered so I could make a confident decision. I look forward to working with Nationwide on my next move. Thank you and the team again!

Moving companies will talk themselves up without having much to show for it. They make promises without intending to keep them. I have had some terrible experiences with some moving companies. So, I was elated when Nationwide Moving Services did exactly what they promised during my move two months back. When I called them for a quote, they very courteously admitted that their crew had 3 other appointments on that day and it would be quite late for them to arrive at my apartment. I have never seen a moving company doing this. They usually book you and then show up late anyway. The crew was just fantastic. They arrived right on the scheduled time and worked impressively fast. All my things were delivered on the scheduled time.

A new job meant having to relocate and it was my first. I called Nationwide Moving Services for a quote to move my valuables and their numbers seemed quite reasonable. The crew consisted of four movers. It was really easy to communicate with these movers. They were experienced enough to know what to do and how to do it. They very efficiently packed up all my belongings and then loaded them on to the truck. I wasn’t sure if all my valuables would fit into that one truck, but they quite easily managed to do it. I’m really trying to find something negative to say but truly there were none. These guys were so experienced that my move couldn’t have gone wrong even if there was an earthquake.

I used to live in a 3rd floor walkup apartment. I knew it was going to be an issue for the movers. But the men from Nationwide Moving Services made it seem like nothing. They carried heavy pieces of furniture down the stairs as if they were carrying Styrofoam. The sheer strength the men had was admirable. They took great care of our breakables while packing them. They did use a lot of packing materials, which are not free, but it was only to safeguard my expensive valuables. The whole process went very smoothly. The delivery was made on time and everything arrived safely. I was so happy for hiring these guys.

We hired Nationwide Moving Services to transport our valuables 3 months ago. They gave us a very reasonable quote. The movers arrived 20 minutes early for the appointment. The boys worked very fast and efficiently. They spared no details. The whole process of packing loading went very well and then our stuffs were on their way. We received the delivery right on the pre-scheduled date and the inventory list checked out. Nothing was broken or damaged. This move could have taken a serious toll on us but instead it turned out to be so easy.

I used Nationwide Moving Services on Tuesday 3/30 and they were great! From the beginning, they were very responsive, upfront, and on time. When they arrived to my place they were very organized and efficient. I was very happy with their service! It's not easy to find a good mover that you can trust these days. My sister recommended them and I am SO happy that she did. I highly recommend Nationwide Moving Services! I would also ask if these guys are available to do your move.... Thank you guys!!! You were AWESOME!!!

This was the worst moving experience of my life. The boy I spoke to on the phone to book my move, Thomas Brendan, is either a total liar, or just very bad at his job. He misrepresented the items I listed out to him, which left my quote short by $3000 that I had to come up with the day of the move. He told me it would be a direct move, but ended up being a Monday pick up and Friday delivery. He did not disclose that I would need cash on hand for delivery, in fact he told me it could all go on credit card. He stated that all packing materials would be included, when in fact, I was charged over $600 the day of delivery for things to be packed to the movers liking.

I called two weeks before the move to update the delivery location, and he never updated that with the van company. I informed there were four flights of stairs, and he stated there was a flat rate fee of $75/flight. In actuality, I was charged per stair, totaling over $500.

They did not give me a delivery date until 48 hrs ahead of time, leaving it too late to obtain a moving permit, which has also added to my cost. No one ever called to confirm the delivery time with me until an hour before they arrived, and truly left me no options but to have them double park in the city.

When I called customer service at the time of pick up, the woman I spoke to was condescending and rude, and treated me like I was stupid and ridiculous for being upset the move was now going to cost double.

Overall, I have never been more disgusted with a company. They do bad business, and then gaslight their customers when they’re called out on it.

I had to relocate for a new job, from Navarre, Fl to Bend, OR, which left me trying to figure out to move a 3 bedroom house which had accumulated 8 years and 5 kids worth of belongings. Not knowing much about long distance movers, a friend suggested Nationwide Moving Services. I was hesitant at first, but when the big day came and the movers arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The movers they sent were not only on time, but had all of the materials required to pack, and label, our stuff to protect it, and make sure it was protected during the move. They worked hard, and fast, and they were very professional. I literally didn’t have to do a thing but point and let them know what things were of value to us, to ensure extra material when packing for protection. They had all of our stuff packed in one day and loaded up the next. When our belongings arrived in Oregon, unpacking was a breeze because everything was properly labeled, and packed accordingly. Nationwide movers turned a long distance move that could have been a nightmare into a stress free, easy breezy, experience. It was worth every penny to hire nationwide for my move across the country!

These guy are everything that’s wrong with moving industry. BS up front, underestimating your volume, terrible handling your goods and delivery happens sometime but not what they tell you. My costs were 25% above estimate, didn’t pick up on time, busted a bunch of our stuff. These guys are scamming brokers and you have no control who they had you off to. Deal directly with the guys hauling your stuff. I thought I was experienced to not go scammed, I was wrong. Don’t do business with these crooks

HORRIBLE… They are criminal. Sign you up for a move,but use subcontractors to move you. Not professionals by the way. Your price will likely change based on numerous items throughout the ordeal. The move day comes and then once your items are packed, they charge you a quote that is bigger than the original quote—$1600more. But now, you have no choice. You ask the driver to speak to their supervisor about the additional cost & he refer a you to the subcontractor’s contact. The subcontractor says that’s the price but they’ll look into it once they receive the paperwork. You follow up with nationwide and they say that you already signed the contract with the subcontractor and there’s nothing they can do about it. You are not happy but you need your stuff moved. You call for almost 2 weeks and get no answer. Then it’s time to deliver your stuff but before they start, they want the remaining balance—of the inflated amount that they said they would review but never did. But by now you are over it and just want your stuff. At this point your +$1600 over the initial amount but what can you do? NEVER use them again and tell anyone else who’s listening not to either.

We hired Nationwide Moving Services as our long distance movers. Never moving across state lines before caused a great deal of anxiety for me, but they managed to pull it off seamlessly. The workers who helped us were very polite and accommodated all of our unusual requests. They did a great job and we received everything just the way it had been shipped with no damage and with everything accounted for. I definitely would recommend them if you are looking for reliable movers.

Nationwide Moving Services is a broker, they take your money and sendsub-contractors with a Penske truck to your home.

I feel like they either purposely underestimate the cu ft space you will need, their

estimator is unskilled, or their software is grossly inaccurate.

Their estimate was off (low) by approx. 85% - and we ended up putting less items on the truck - too good to be true I guess.

When we complained they told us we had bulkier items amounting to more cu ft. They added additional like like more bubble wrap, and duplicated a tv wrapping charge

When the sub-contracted movers show up, they will then give you the actual price of the move, - - after all your stuff is on the truck.

The movers told us that NMS CONSISTENCY gives inaccurate and lower estimates.

My move went from approx. 2k to 4K.

Our complaints and dozens of phone calls got us a $500credit - in my opinion, it was obvious by the supervisors tone, that they could care less about their lack of estimator accuracy.

I’ve used Nationwide Moving Services before and have experienced firsthand the level of quality the company provides. Not only did the crew meet those expectations, they exceeded it. This was a big move done under adverse weather conditions. My family deeply appreciated the hard work and professionalism of the crew (and, as a note, Max was an amazing point man). Next time we move-which hopefully won’t be any time soon-we will definitely use you folks and I would recommend you to anyone.

Don't ever trust this company. Everything the sales told you when they get your deposit is a liar. My sales was Evan Parana who seemed extremely polite, professional and responsive to get the deal done. Once you paid the deposit, you will never able to get hold of him again. Their customer service people would yell at me over the phone and deny anything their sales have promised, and charge me all kinds of fees. They are a broker and they hire a few guys to do the moving with a Penske truck. We agreed for a delivery (at the destination) on Feb.27th. They called me in that evening telling me their driver got COVID and have to reschedule to the following Wed (5 days later) so we had to sleep on the floor. During the next Wed no one showed up and no one called. When I called I was told the new time is that Friday, then it moved to Sat. Finally on Sat afternoon two guys showed up with a Penske truck and only brought less than 1/3 of my stuff. Lots of furniture was damaged and mattress were stained. 3 days later they deliver another few boxes. Today is Mar.26, and no one has called me back telling me when they are going to deliver the rest of my stuff. And I paid almost $10000 for this shit company. I have reason to believe all the positive reviews here are fake. I highly recommend you to stay away from this company! If I could give a zero rating I would.
