Fast service with nothing broken!

The long distance movers showed up on time and packed all of our belongings quickly and with ease. My fiance can be picky when it comes to how things are packed and organized, but even he was impressed with how well the movers packed everything! The move went as planned and nothing was broken. This company has been great to work with, and we will be using them again in the future!

Negative Stars!! Stay Away!

Nationwide Moving Services in Delray Beach FL is the most unprofessional organization I've ever dealt with in moving services. It is a bait and switch type tactic that raised my price 3 times, broke a marble top table as well as a large glass top table and have yet to rectify those issues. If I could rate them with negative stars, I would. This was the absolute worst moving experience I've ever had. STAY AWAY!

Very Responsive and Super Patient Customer Service!

Being a perfectionist makes moving a literal nightmare, but this company helped me through every step of the way to make sure the process was comfortable! I used their services previously and was impressed by their speedy customer service, so I decided to use them again recently and they did not disappoint. I completely recommend them, especially if you get easily caught up on fine details like me!

Good Experience and friendly people

I decided it was finally time to leave my hometown and was so worried about finding reasonably priced long distance

movers, but this has been one of the easier and surprisingly more affordable moving experiences that I have had.

I had help from the company to pack my stuff and everyone that I encountered was professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend Nationwide.

Long distance moving

Nationwide Moving Services (NMS) falsely advertise themselves as a full service, out of state moving specialist when they are MERELY A BROKERAGE COMPANY. They manipulate, lie and trick customers into signing up with them. When I decided to move from Irvine, CA to Montana, I obtained 3 quotes to get a ballpark figure of moving costs. The first quote was from Kyle at Nationwide (I called them thinking they were a full-service moving company), a second company and finally I called United Van Lines (UVL) for my third quote. UVL/Mayflower (a subsidiary of UVL) was the company that I wanted to move with, having used them in the past and being satisfied with their services.

However, when I called the number for UVL, Leo H from NMS somehow intercepted my call. He did not identify the company he was with, just stating “Moving Company, how may I help you?” During the entire conversation, Leo had numerous opportunities to let me know I was talking to NMS and not UVL. I asked if UVL gives discounts to seniors and/or to loyal customers, since I had moved with them 3 times in the past. Instead of letting me know I was not talking to UVL, he continued the deception, and went to the extent of researching my move with UVL while talking to me. He obtained the exact address UVL moved me from Colorado to Vista, CA in 2018, my last move with UVL and asked me if I was moving out of my Vista address to Montana. Given that he had my info from my 2018 move, I had no reason to doubt that I was, talking to UVL. He rushed me through checking the listed inventory, the estimated cost of the move and the signing of the contract online, collecting my deposit of $1504.67. Assuming I was dealing with UVL, I felt comfortable signing the contract and paying the deposit since I was familiar with their contract. To my horror, 4 days later when I printed out the contract, I realized the contract was from NMS not UVL. I called Customer service to complain and Christina from customer service hung up on me. Subsequently, I called Leo, who of course denied being deceptive and told me I could cancel the contract but would not get the deposit back. At that point I had no choice but to go along with NMS.

On actual day of move, MoveR van lines (MVR) comes to load my stuff. They claimed NMS had underestimated the volume (396cf) which they said happened frequently, and they were going to charge me for an additional (154cf) for exact same items on NMS inventory list. I called NMS for resolution according to their instructions given to me and the manager Annie had the audacity to tell me there was nothing she could do about it and told me I could cancel the contract. NMS deliberately underestimated the volume to secure my business, knowing full well that the movers were going to charge more on actual day of move.

3 days later, I contacted NMS asking to speak with the manager. The clerk stated she had gone home for the day and asked if he could help. He looked up my information and stated I had 2 moves listed in their computer. When I questioned him as to why that would be, he stated “You must have called several companies to get quotes. We have different ways to get your calls”. That explains Leo fraudulently intercepting my call to UVL. This company has had 59 complaints in past 3 years (all the complaints are similar to mine) and yet no action has been taken against them, so they continue to deceive customers. There should be a class action lawsuit against them to shut them down for good.

This company is the perfect company for you! If you need any help moving this is the company! After

looking for a very long time I have finally found a moving company that is long-distance and affordable!

I have looked all over to find a moving company that can help me and my family. This company is also

very considerate! A lot of moving companies are very inconsiderate with your belongings but this

company pays very close attention and will make sure that none of your items are broken! This is why I

chose Nationwide moving! If you don't want to risk your belongings with strangers chose Nationwide

moving because they will treat your items as if they were there own! This companies services also go for

the low price of only $ 2,000, a lot of other companies will over charge or try to bargain but not

Nationwide moving and that's why I will only trust this company to help me with moving.

Long distance movers

In the search for a company of long distance movers, I came across this company. When I got my quote, I was surprised to hear that it will only cost me $2500 to move all my furniture. I knew there was no doubt about this choice. I was even more surprised to find my property arrived before the estimated time with the best gentlemen to help move. I wouldn't use or recommend any other company.

Great long distance movers

I'm a young, fresh college graduate who just got a job out in NYC, and I was absolutely terrified about moving so far away. I've never done this before, but I found Nationwide Moving Services, and they saved me tons of stress. Best long distance movers ever! There's so much to keep track of when moving especially for your first time, and they really helped me out.

The worst service

The customer service reps and management team are rude. The estimated quotes are no where need close to the actual price when the moving company comes to pick up furniture. My price was triple to what the estimated quote was, the moving company explained to me they use an outdated system to calculate the furniture size to get customers to work with them. ITS A SCAM DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. Find a moving company yourself, you don’t need a broker to find one for you. Definitely learned my lesson.

Not Reliable - Not Trustworthy

My experience with Nationwide Moving Service and the moving company they contracted to move me, SoCal Moving Ent. was the worse experience. You don't get to choose who they hire you to move, you get stuck with some fly by night mover.

Nationwide assured me that I can trust them with my cross-country move from CA to PA. I am an elderly woman who has survived domestic violence and I let them know this. Their customer service or should I say Cross Country Movers is who you get to talk to when you call their customer service. When I call Nationwide they tell me to call customer service which is this other company. When they say they will call you back, they don't. If you can customer services too many times they screen your number so they don't answer, but put the *69 and the call goes through. My shipment was over 30 days past the max delivery period.

I was also told that I would be reimbursed for every day that my items were delivered late. I have not seen or heard back from Nationwide Moving Service or SoCal Moving Ent. about it. I was also short a box I informed SoCal Moving about this and had not heard back. In another box that I securely packed, the majority of the contents, some guitars, were delivered sans box. One of the guitar cases was tampered with. This experience with Nationwide Moving Service and SoCal Moving Ent has been traumatic.

Steer Clear! Hidden Costs!

We spent well over an hour walking through everything with the sales person, using video calls, etc. during the estimate process. The sales person of course gave us a low estimate and assured us they he was even being conservative and the actual cost would likely be lower. We even sold a rower we had after the estimate, but before the move. The estimate was about $15k, but when they movers showed up we were almost $20k. Of course there's nothing we can do at that point as we had to be out of the house, but we felt very misled. I'd encourage anyone to look into other company and place value on those that provide a binding quote and probably a company that does an in-person evaluation to avoid unexpected costs. As we learned, Nationwide does not provide a binding quote and the actual cost will almost certainly be higher. It seems like a company that tries to give a low estimate to get your business and then has no problem charging significantly more once you're in a spot where you have no other options. All I can do is try to steer others clear.

A True Lifesaver!

The long distance moving package was a god sent! We had to up and move in a rather short amount of time due to some personal issues, and they had us in Florida with all of our items in tact and unloaded exactly where we wanted in no time! The movers treated us so well it felt like we had already known them for years. The customer service is impeccable and the prices are fair. These guys definitely earned our loyalty.

Smoothest move ever

NMS was fantastic. The communication was smooth and the movers arrived right on time. They got right to work boxing everything up and got the show on the road in no time.

Though we were under a steep deadline to move out of the house, NMS was extremely helpful and responsive to our situation. Moving is usually stressful, especially with a long-distance move like ours was. But NMS took care of everything. Thank you, NMS!

Great quality, professionalism

Nationwide Moving Services is unmatched when it comes to the quality needed to be good at what they do. Hiring a moving company was hard to decide on. My wife and I were skeptical about hiring out of state long distance movers for our moving needs, especially with the size and number of large items we had to transport. But NMS did everything to surpass every hope we could have had and more. I’d definitely use (and recommend) Nationwide Moving Services. 4/5.

Just throw it away

I should have read this page before booking with NWM. Every one star review is correct!!!!!!! Would have given 1/4 of a star if it was an option, and that would have been too much. They should be called Nationwide "We'll deliver your furniture when we get good and ready" Movers. They are hostage takers and will upcharge you to get what is rightfully yours. The movers (Dear Lord, I don't know where these people were hired from) will talk to you in the most derogatory way. I have had no less than six dates all have come in gone. it is now approaching three weeks since I have been in my new place, still no furniture and no communication unless I reach out. Never, ever, if your life depended on it throw your money away to this company.

Quality Service!

They were tremendous in helping my family move across country. Terrible experience

We contacted nationwide- they are brokers- brokered out our move to logistics pro- who in turn, contracted our belongings out to another mover. We lost family flags of deceased family members- numerous boxes of kitchen items, personal information and a router table. After numerous calls for assist with locating our items- the contracted mover informed us, “why are you complaining? I didn’t charge you an additional 2,000 for having to back up to our driveway and unload 50 feet from our garage.” The move from Denver to Washington state was around 11,000.00. I believed we were paying for all of our items to arrive. To date, we have not been able to get a call back for remediation.

Moving was much easier with help!

I’ve moved around quite a bit in my short time on this earth, and it’s always extremely complicated. Luckily, with the service provided by Nationwide Moving Services, my move was much simpler. Long distance movers are pretty easy to come by, but finding one that isn’t a pain to work with is difficult. Nationwide Moving Services made my trek from Georgia to Texas a bit of an easier process. I had moved to Georgia from Texas without any moving service because I struggled to find one that worked for me! Coming back home was much easier with some help.

Can't give them a negative unfortunately

Nationwide is a Broker NOT A MOVING company! 1st movers they sent to be were 2 days late and using their children as labor - we sent them away. Payments are demanded in CASH and increased on site before pick up and delivery. The gents that delivered to my son admitted they were hired from Craigslist the night before! What a nightmare overpriced scam. FIND ANOTHER MOVER!!!!
