Moving Pros just left my house an hour ago. As promised they showed up in one of their trucks, wearing their uniforms, with their bill of lading. I got swindled by a broker once before and didn't want to deal with brokers. Moving Pros showed me on their DOT page that they are indeed a carrier and that why I chose them. I'm glad I did too! This crew of movers was the best. They really went above and beyond- not sure if they just wanted a tip or if that how all their employees’ are- but either way they were great. I’ve already given mats number to some of my friends moving to California and hope they sue them too.

Moving pros put forth 110% effort when it came to meeting my needs. I'm one happy and satisfied customer. Anthony and rabbi were most excellent. These guys thoroughly blanket wrapped and pad wrapped everything. They packed all of my glass and mirrors. They were so nice and very helpful. I was originally planning on selling all my furniture and buying new to avoid headaches but moving pros told me not to worry and that I was in good hands. They were definitely right!

They lied and contracted out to some unknown truckers to move my belongings. It was brought to my attention that the movers they contracted with did not have the correct licensing with DOT. Most of my property was destroyed or missing. Three months pass and they tell me they still don't know where my missing items are. About a $900.00 loss. I requested to speak to the owner or CEO and the manager first refused but after several phone calls he stated they would have him contact me. He has never called. So much more but I am too upset to go into detail. No matter how desperate you are Do Not Use This Company. If I could give them zero stars I would. A very unprofessional and dishonest organization.

This is the second time I have used the company and will continue to do so as they have always been so effectual and reliable. I moved in the nearby area using Moving Pros and all my contents were perfectly delivered to my new place. I have a lot of stuffs to be carried and these guys managed to move them very professionally and speedily, with the entire preparation before the actual move took only 2 and a half hours. They traveled fast yet accurate with my items perfectly unscratched and safe! Strongly recommended!

Please be sure to note that there are numerous 1 star and then odd and curious 5 star reviews. This company is a HORRIBLE SCAM. Whatever you do..DO NOT USE THEM!! Nightmare city!! I spent many sleepless nights believing that I was ripped off due to their horrible customer service. Then when my stuff finally arrived after several weeks, they delivered a broken 47inch TV, among other missing items, my favorite chair was lost and they left 3 boxes that weren't mine. I finally, with absolutely no help from Moving Pros, Inc, was able to notify the owners of these boxes in Las Vegas (I'm in Montana) and am sending the boxes to them. Also, the movers attempted to deliver a bicycle that wasn't mine. They are very disorganized and don't seem to care that there are people recieving the wrong stuff. I am pursuing compensation via BBB. Even if I don't receive any reimbursement for my material losses, it will be very satisfying to put these SCAM Artists out of business, if at all possible. I don't want anybody to go through the stress that I experienced with this irresponsible company.

Moving pros was especially helpful in making it less stressful and making sure that everything was going to get there in one piece without anything getting lost or damaged. I stressed concern for a few items that I was particular worried about but it seems that I worried for nothing. Between having to worry about the whole moving process and getting everything done, you can trust this company in getting your things delivered in one piece. This was one less worry to have to deal with. The price was very affordable compared to other moving companies as well. I would definitely recommend this company to others and I would be using it in the future if necessary again.

I moved for a new job. The initial sales rep, Matt, from Moving Pros that I spoke with was very helpful and informative, unlike the other moving companies that use high pressure and manipulative sales tactics. Outright rude sometimes. Matt also took the time to answer my questions and offer packing details. The quote I got was very fair, though it did change when an foreman came on pick up because we added some items and boxes that weren't reflected in the initial quote, but the change was nothing outrageous. The foreman did a great job, and the services were as expected from our initial contact with Matt. Overall, we're very pleased with the services provided by Moving Pros Inc.

My husband was already driving a moving truck from out of state when we finally decided to go ahead and hire movers to help unload the truck. We ran into issues with HOA and the moving truck so we had to find people that would do it the same day and in the evening when he would arrive. I knew It was going to be difficult to find movers last minute, but to find evening help would take a miracle. Thank goodness Ben called me back after leaving a message. He was just real calm and had a "no worries, we'll be there" kind of attitude. After scheduling the appointment my stress was lifted off my shoulders. They really helped us out.
Moving pros movers: courteous to clients, accountable, gets back to you right away, reasonable price, efficient and flexible schedule. I highly, highly recommend them. Thank you so much guys!

I was talked into how great this company was and as soon as I left my deposit everything changed. Joe is the first guy that sold me on leaving a deposit. Second point of contact was Ryan. Third was the wonderful driver Jose. Who demanded my money and told me he'd hold. My things hostage if I didn't pay the remaining balance when he got to the house. Last was Tommy. He attempted to make things right by the company but he couldn't follow through after realizing his " supervisor" didn't care and wasn't going to make things right. If I wasn't calling 3 times a day there was zero communication. My move was from California to Florida. WEEKS before any hurricanes hit Texas or Florida. They picked up my things and told me I'd see them in florida by the end of the week- latest beginning of the next week. I was told my stuff was in Texas to than find out two weeks later it never left California. They tried to blame the hurricane. Than I was told it would get to Florida before Irma would even come close. I was lied to again. I was harrased by the driver of the truck the day before he wanted to deliver. I was re assured that once I paid my remaining balance when the driver showed up , moving pros would consider a refund for the delay in delivery, late pick up, and being lied to. I was given the run around from start to finish. Ryan calls himself a supervisor and had the nerve to call me today and tell me he hates to be blunt but I'm not getting any refund because even though they fired the driver that did my move, they completed the delivery and nothing else mattered.
I've reached out To my attorney and my credit card company as I will fight this till the end. It's not about the dollar amount or refund, it's the principle and the poor customer service.
DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I used them because compared to other companies the reviews weren't AS bad. It's too bad that's how I made my decision.

This was my worst move ever!! From start to finish I was lied to. The so-called professional estimator was supposedly off by $2000. Then he also told me that the storage would be $200 a month, which turned out to be $500 a month. I spoke with Ryan, a supervisor, and was told that this is all correct and there was nothing that he could do about it. I have moved 2 times prior to this move and have never had this problem before. DO NOT ever use this company for your move, you will be extremely sorry just as I am.

First Impression:
When I called, Ben answered the phone with a friendly and professional greeting. I asked if he had any availability to move my small office and he quickly scheduled the move for two hours out, which really surprised me because everyone else I had called gave me a wait time of at least a week. This was the first thing that impressed me about Moving pros Movers.
The Move:
Ben arrived with a truck and a fellow mover named Tom. They were delightful people and did an impeccable job with my furniture; not a scratch. They worked fast, and their prices were affordable (cheaper than many other places). I actually felt they did more work than the value of what they were asking, so I was more than happy to give them a tip.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Moving pros to my friends, and I would definitely call on them again.

I called Moving pros on the same day I needed them & they were more than happy to help. We got Bobby & Tom and they were great. They moved our upstairs 2 bedroom condo to another upstairs 2 bedroom condo. Bobby & Tom worked hard for 5 hours straight in the heat. They never took a break or complained about anything. The best of all, none of our belongings were damage. They were quick & efficient, yet still treated our belongings like they were theirs. I would definitely hire them again.

Moving isn't fun for anybody. After doing a week’s worth of research I was pretty confident I knew what to look out for. Always get a binding estimate. Make sure you're dealing with a carrier as opposed to a broker. Make sue they're operating legally and have the proper licensing. Throughout all my research the only company that passed every one of my tests was moving pros. they didn't have any dot complaints or major problems. Most companies were really good in some areas but bad in others. Moving pros was solid across the board and the service they provided me personally was exceptional. Hope my experience with moving pros is no different than yours. Get it done right the first time!

This moving company is the absolute best. I wanted to do business with a family run company because customer service is important to me. They gave me a price of $3150 for a complete move. I couldn't find any TV boxes for a 70inch at target so I ended up paying them a little bit more to pack the TVs. I paid for two and they gave me the third one free. The price ended up going up a little bit for that but they told me about it before so it wasn't a surprise. I have a daughter with special needs and the crew was really great about not making too much noise. Loud noises really frighten my daughter and they were more than accommodating in that regard. Also very friendly. I would use them again if I had to move once more.

We chose moving pros for a few different reasons; mainly the value in the service provided was on point. Anytime we hire any type of labor we want to make sure it’s not the cheapest. You really get what you pay for in my opinion. We learned the hardware one time earlier in life when we hired the cheapest contractor to remodel our kitchen. Moving pros price was reasonable and realistic. A lot of these movers tell you whatever you want to hear to get their foot in the door and charge more lately. Moving pros gave us a firm price and stuck to it.

I own a lot of breakables. So naturally I was worried for how they were going to travel from Danbury, CT to Raleigh, NC. I specifically asked the movers from Moving Pros to take extra care of my glassware. They did exactly that. They were very well equipped and methodically packed everything carefully. They packed everything in the van like Tetris. In the end, when my belongings arrived in North Carolina I checked to make sure everything arrived unscathed. One mug was damaged in transit but other than that nothing was broken. I was so happy with the services provided by this company.

They are not a moving company at all!! They will store your stuff for you. I had them lie to me over and over again. They will tell you what you want to hear to get your business. They should be shut down and not a business at all. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy! They are bullies! They never return phone calls. They never knew where my stuff was during the move. They told me I would get reimbursed for all the mistakes they made and then never call me back to discuss reimbursement. I'm still waiting to hear from them. They are liars and thieves!! Do not use this "company"!! They are the worst! So unprofessional! A disgrace to actual moving companies. A bunch of our stuff was broken or damaged. I emailed the claims department and still have not heard back from them. I would not give them any stars if possible. Save your money and move your stuff your self!

This company is a living nightmare. I received $123 from their liability company after their lost thousands of dollars worth of furniture and personal items. AND YOU CANNOT CLAIM THE MONEY IF YOU WRITE A NEGATIVE REVIEW.

Problem #1. 0 tracking of items. Upon delivery, only brought 70% of our things, and brought in several boxes/items that were not ours. No idea where HUGE pieces of furniture are - everything is just gone.

Problem #2. Broken items. Of the items that made it, several pieces had damage.

Problem #3. Outsourcing. You'll notice a trend on these reviews of people complaining about 3rd party companies/rented trucks; they are all contractors, I.e. they don't care about you. You are LEGALLY ENTITLED to know the license numbers and contact info for all movers. Moving Pros never gave us this even after several requests so we could maybe track down our items. Nothing.

Problem #4. They lie. Matt will tell you anything to sell you. Get anything in writing. After they tell you one thing, follow up with an email confirmation. I guarantee they will back-track. And Ryan won't care he lied - don't bother trying.

Problem #5. They hold your items hostage when you don't want to pay absurd fees. If you do use this company, when they lose your items, because they will, please know you are not legally obligated to pay the full amount as quoted; however, you'll need to sue them to get it because they'll completely ignore you otherwise.

Other problems during our move:
- Shuttle fee. It doesn't matter where you live - they're going to hold your things hostage unless you agree to pay it. Don't believe Matt when he says you won't when he's trying to get your business.
- Stairs fee. We carried everything down to the truck ourselves to avoid this, but the third party "company" (get ready for 2 completely random guys to show up) that's picking our stuff up had no idea how to handle that. We had to pay.
- Failure to provide federally mandated legal documents. They never provided us with an arbitration program, a tariff, or any of the information of any of our movers. If you decide to go with this god-awful company and get screwed, you have a right to this info!
- Literally will never call you, even if they say they will. If they've massively messed up, you need to follow up. They just don't care.
Enjoy your 6 month claims process and .60 cents/pound when they mess up.
- People have talked about complaining to the FMSCA when they've had problems - they are extremely nice and helpful people, but the reality is they can't force horrible movers like Moving Pros to do anything. You're stuck once they overcharge or loose your stuff.

TL;DR - They lost thousands of dollars worth of furniture and personal items, including damage to items that were delivered. They lie directly to you, don't provide legally required information, and could not care less about your happiness or satisfaction.

I am happy to speak personally with anyone who would like more detail. This company has sucked so much of my time and money, I'd love to return the favor.

Truck driver arrived at 6:30 pm but did not start unloading until 7:30 pm when helpers arrived. Driver refused to return the next morning. Finally finished unloading about 11:00 pm. The loaders did not unblanket our possessions as our contract stipulated that they would, and I still have dozens of shipping blankets on site here. They lost or did not deliver more than 15% of our property for thousands of dollars in loss to me. Have been unable to collect any claim compensation from the company.

DO NOT USE - BEWARE!!

First of all not the many 5 star ratings. None of them include origin and destination and they are all fake!

I had the move me last year from Sparks, NV to Lakewood CO and it was a nightmare!!

First of all they almost doubled the cost after the truck was loaded so I really had no choice but to pay. Especially when they told me that they would change me to unload if I didn't pay.

Next they moved my household goods to a warehouse in Sacramento, CA (I know - the wrong way!) without letting me know that their plan was to unload and reload my belonging onto another truck that was headed East. This resulted in double the handling and double the risk without making me aware of this at all.

Weeks later when the truck arrived I found significant damage to all my furniture and motorcycle. I filed a claim through their "3rd party claims company" called CSI. After going through 2 "settlement offers" I finally agreed to take a loss and move on with the 3rd offer and was advised the Moving Pros would send me a check within 45 days.

Check never came and company refuses to answer my calls.

Also when the delivery truck arrived the driver advised that he doesn't reassemble which is specifically listed as covered in Moving Pros quote.

Over ten months after the move and I am completely screwed.

This is NOT a reputable company. Just look for their F- rating with the Better Business Bureau!!

I found this company while doing a search online for interstate movers. I didn't have any clue there were so many moving companies in my area. the guys who came out were straight shooters. they gave us a price and left. about two days later one of the guys in the office called and offered to take $150 off for their Martin Luther King day special. we figured it best to just get the decision over with and so we booked with them. they showed up, albeit 15 minutes late, and got to work. they stretched and blanketed everything so it wouldn't get damaged in transit. super solid effort on their part.
