Long-distance move from Lakewood, WA to Hinesville, GA

Horrible Experience.

Picked up my items on 6/26 in Washington state. It is now 10/17 and I still have no update on when I will get my things. I have spoken to several people and no one knows anything. I was quoted 1768, but when movers arrived, they charged me over 2500. I should have never contracted with this horrible company. Even this morning, I keep getting the run around. I just really want my shipment. Dishonest horrible company. They need to be shut down and put out of business for good.

Long-distance move from Iowa City, IA to Fountain Hills, AZ

This company is horrible, no customer service.

This company is quick to offer service, seemingly at decent price.
However, delivery dates are completely unreliable, I gave them narrow window of when I needed items delivered to new home and they jerked me around for days. Once they have your money, then forget about anyone calling you back. I have made at least 3 calls a day and have been promised multiple times there would be a supervisor calling me back. NO CALL BACK,
Told the office that I needed property delivered by certain date since after that date no one would be here to accept delivery and their answer was they "can't guarantee delivery date".

When I told them that if they can't property to me by certain day that I would have to cancel- they told me I was in breach of contract and still owe them all monies despite never delivering property to destination.
Unethical, unreliable, no customer service standards. How they get to list themselves as "best in the midwest " is beyond my comprehension.

Long-distance move from Batavia, OH to Ocala, FL

Moved to different state.

We hired them to move our Things from Ohio to Florida back in March. We never got our things. Done use these movers. They lie to you about the price and then they take your things and never got our things. They said we get our things in a few days. They never showed up. Very poor customer service, you can call during the week. And when we did call they told us that they were there to deliver the stuff. They didn't call us to tell us they were on their way, and when we tried to call then they said that we need to get our stuff or they would or they will auction it off. They said they would email us and we never got the email from them and has tried calling them and no answer. Never use this them to move your things. They quoted us a price and when they can to get the things, they wanted more money. We didn't have that much for them to take.

Long-distance move from Colorado to Missouri

Items Missed and Damaged.

I used this moving services for moving my home stuff from Colorado to Missouri. They delivered my stuff 2 weeks after when I asked to deliver. There were few items missing and some were damaged. When I claimed for the same they offered me a very little amount as compared to what I claimed.
This was my first moving experience and it was very bad. I am not sure if all other companies also do like that. I will suggest other to go for any other reputed one and also insure your items.

Long-distance move from Washington to Arizona

Trashed Our Items And Lost Furniture.

Look elsewhere if you are planning on moving they treated our terrible. Lost dining chairs and left items belonging to someone else at our home. They did not care when we requested they find our dining chair that is irreplaceable (guess what they didn't care and stated they would not be able to track it down) We paid them over $4000.00 to move from Washington to Arizona. They beat up all of our wooden furniture and the boxes looked like they have been thrown around alot. My suggestion is to either rent a truck from u-haul or find another company you can trust with you worldly belonging because they don't care!!

Long-distance move from Seattle, WA to San Antonio, TX

Horrible Service.

Do not pick Midwestern Van Lines. They are awful to work with. They gave us a great veteran discount and were easy to work with until after they picked our stuff up. The price went up twice after they picked it up. Our stuff stayed in WA and was finally delivered a month later. They hired two guys off Craigslist to help unload our stuff and during the process they stole our 65in TV and multiple other boxes were missing. They damaged several pieces of furniture and even tried to give us someone else’s bed. In the end they tried to give us $75 for everything and we refused. I recommend a company where you pack it yourself and it gets transported in a trailer with no one else’s stuff.

Long-distance move from Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Parrish, FL

Run far away from this company.

We have been fighting for over a year with this company regarding our move from Wisconsin to Florida in June, 2018. Do not believe anything they tell you. They did not honor the quote, they did not pickup and deliver as quoted. They held our belongings hostage until we paid the 50% more than the original quote. When we finally got our stuff, much of it was broken and over a dozen boxes were missing. We went thru the process to file a claim with movingclaims.net, and the settlement they gave us did not even cover the cost to run copies of all the paperwork they wanted. Now my calls do not go thru to either company, and we are still out our whopping $70.00 settlement check. Run far away from this company. Do not call them for even a quote. Their sales people were very slick and sucked me into to believing them and that they were the same as the 'big company' with a similar name. If I could give these guys zero stars I would.

Worst!!

This company is extremely deceitful and amoral. They increased our move cost when we had no options. We took them to court and WON using photographic evidence of their fraud and we have not seen a dime of reimbursement! They are the worst and will lie to earn your business and then hold your belongings hostage when they increase the price. DO NOT believe anything they say and hang up when they call!! I have moved with several companies since I've been married and have NEVER experienced this level of incompetence and dishonesty. Run, Run away!!

Bad experience.

As the previous reviews have stated, we have had a similar experience. The moving contract price was doubled on the day we were to pack up and move. We rejected the double bid. The down payment of $2300 has not been returned. Phone calls are not answered. How can a company keep doing this? Does no one have a conscience?

Worst mover.

I had the absolute worst experience with these people. They are dishonest and unprofessional. They showed up 2 days later to pick up my items despite the agreed up on pick up day was supposed to be guaranteed. Then the driver asked for additional 1000 dollars although the inventory list did not change. They deliverd my items 8 weeks later.

Lost my hospital bed remote PLUS.

I am very disappointed in this company that they represent there movers. They hire folks that are not interested in protecting your household. They lost half a heavy duty shelf and a dozen boxes. The most disturbing news is that they had no idea what happened to the medical bed remote. Filed a complete claim and never heard a word! Buyer Beware!
