Los Angeles Transfer and Storage

I never use moving companies, but when I found a job in AZ, and had to relocate from CA in a fairly short time, I needed to find someone ASAP--with a reasonable price, and reliability. A friend told me about Los Angeles Transfer and Storage, but I still did my due dilience and price shopped. In retrospect, I may have wasted my time with compairsons, because Los Angeles Transfer and Storage truly stood out in a positive way. Their timliness and competence enegendered trust, and all my items were delivered on time, and within a reasonable budjet. I would strongly encourage anyone who has to move their possessions to use Los Angeles Transfer and Storage.

Where should I begin? Called Los Angeles transfer and hired them to move personal belongings into an investment home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Their customer service was very helpful, they sent a representative out to estimate my move on site and provided me with a guaranteed move cost. Pick up was on time, delivery was a day early and everything arrived safely. By far the best move I ever had and absolutely will use again. Los Angeles Transfer and Storage under-promised and over-delivered, simply far exceeded my expectations !!

I was moving from CA to WI for business on a short notice. The salespeople were extremely friendly and professional while answering all my questions.

The movers did an incredible job packing everything safely and securely. I did not find one single damaged item. The team of movers packed the truck efficiently and safely.

They did the entire job professionally and in a timely matter. I'm very happy with the results!

We recently moved from CA to AZ and used Los Angeles Transfer and Storage as our moving company. In the past we've done moves ourselves and I'm so glad we decided to have them take care of it for us this time. It made life so much easier for us. They were friendly, took excellent care of our belongings (nothing was damaged), and they got our stuff to us on time. Their price was reasonable and we had gotten quotes from multiple companies. It was definitely worth the money.

My father was in the Army when I was a kid, so we were always moving from state to state. Now that I am older, this was my first time moving. Finding a respectable company to move with did make me a little nervous. Finding Los Angeles Transfer and Storage was the best thing that happened to me. They made it supper easy to move on such a short notice. Everything arrived perfect, nothing was broken or missing. On such a long trip I assumed something would break (CA to PA) but nope! eveyrthing was perfect. The transaction was smooth and the staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend to anyone. Every question was answered in a timely manner and always there for anything you need.

I don't know if there are enough superlatives to really describe just how horrible LA Transfer and Storage is. THEY ARE THE WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF USING.
Guess we should start with the bait and switch: David, the agent gave us a price on a contract that stated it would not go higher than the quote given, it did. By $5,000.00. He is either a con man or incompetent. He came through the house and said he could accomplish the move in 1 day. I said that wasn't possible, having moved very often. And this was for a cross country move from California to the East Coast. He agreed to make it a 2 day move but when the day came to pick up our stuff, they were a no show.
He said that he blew the date and not to worry, they could get it done in 1 day. I protested and finally got the movers to show up in the afternoon. They said that there is no way this could be a 1 day move. As I said before, a con man or incompetent. I was beginning to think both. The packing was 50/50. A couple of the guys knew what they were doing, the rest were clueless. A DVD player was tossed into a box on its side with no padding or packing paper. Numerous frames were broken. A computer monitor was haphazardly wrapped and of course, arrived with a massive crack: useless. It is the worst packing job I have ever witnessed.
The trucking company that delivered it was apologetic when they heard about David's bait and switch tactics, they are a sub contractor and said they heard many complaints from many customers. Please take my advice and NEVER USE LA TRANSFER AND STORAGE. They should be revoked of their license and permit to do business. They are beyond bad. They are the worst.

When I found out I had to move I was worried among many other things. I've heard horror stories of moving companies and how they treat their customers and their belongings. When the guys of Los Angeles Transfer and Storage showed up, my worries were put to rest. They were very professional and friendly. All my belongings were handled with the utmost care. My furniture and major appliances were carefully wrapped and moved out gently. All the fragile items were handled very gently as well. I am very pleased with my experience with Los Angeles Transfer and Storage and will recommend them to everyone I know!

We had been looking for good and reasonably priced vendors for quite some time and Los Angeles Transfer And Storage met our basic requirements and some of the more demanding ones.We found that they operated as promised in their marketing.They performed much better than another vendor we used that had larger team,but took a lot longer to ramp up on the project.I'd recommend these guys to anyone.In terms of service,Los Angeles transfer and storage has been a reliable service provider.

I've had terrible past experiences with moving companies (things damaged, broken,etc.) huge mess so I was worried about my move again. Communication was on point as they were on time and available to help me. Not only was everything handled in a respectful and professional manner but the price was in my budget. I called many moving companies and shopped around. I usually don't write reviews but I guess after having terrible experience and then doing business with Los Angeles transfer and storage .. I would highly recommend it to anyone that's planning to move. Will use in the future!

David at LA Transfer and Storage was great. I had planned to go with another company but he was so honest and helpfull than I changed to his truck. The packing and loading took over two and half hours. We packed 65 boxes ahead of time. David and his crew packed the HDTV, Stove, Refrig., tables, chairs, lamps, mirrors, dressers sideboard and the rest of the furniture.   At the delivery in Alabama the truck arrived at about 6:30pm. It was close to midnight before all the items were unloaded. Everything was in great shape. We are very happy that we went with Los Angeles Transfer and Storage. There were no hidden charges. We paid the amount that was quoted to us in LA. These guys are for real!!

L.A. Transfer is an excellent moving service that I highly recommend. They moved my furnishings over 12 rooms, from the West Coast to the East Coast in less than 5 days. They were very professional, from the sales representatives, to the packers, and loaders, to the driver, they all did a great job and exceeded our expectations. L.A. Transfer did Everything they promised they would do. They were very efficient, and unbelievably fast. Our items were packed and loaded with great care. The driver was in touch with us via phone throughout his trip. Our furnishings arrived in great condition. Not one item damaged. They unloaded our furnishings in our new location in less than 3 hours, putting everything in their specified rooms. The staff was very friendly, particularly the packers and loaders. They did a great job loading, making sure we did not incur any additional cost from exceeding our allocated space. After reviewing over 15 rate quotes from 15 different moving companies, L.A. Transfer was the lowest of them all, and provided a great service, by great people.

I would recommend LA Transfer and Storage and would not hesitate to use them again if needed. We used them twice last year.  The first time to arrange the transport of our car from the west coast to the east coast.   The second time was for the moving of our household furnishings.  Everything went very smoothly.  Everyone I dealt with from the office to the delivery of our furniture was professional and couteous.  Pickup and delivery was on time.  Communication was excellent with all involved.  Very positive experience.

As a military soldiers we are always in need of good and reliable moving company to help accommodate our moves in/out of states. Los Angeles transfer and storage has fulfilled my military obligations due to a sudden military move. It was very comforting to have such a reliable and friendly company to help me and my family to move very quickly and efficiently. I wanted to thank the team for their hard work and their support for troops. Patriotism runs through the company and I was completely satisfy. First, David Hirsh (the manager in Sun Valley) was phenomenal! He bent over backwards to help my wife and me. He worked hard to get us an EXCELLENT price on the move, then even assisted us with packing supplies and other things we would have had to spend extra on. He was kind and personable. In fact, after this experience my wife and I feel we can call David a friend.
Second, our belongings were handled with care and delivered on time. Everything was also unloaded with care and placed in our house wherever my wife or I asked them to be placed.
We HIGHLY recommend Los Angeles Transfer and Storage for storing or moving ANYTHING you need taken care of in a professional manner!

I always thought moving could be very difficult. I found out from my company that they needed to relocate me. I spoke with a few neighbors of mine and they had mentioned Los Angeles Transfer and Storage. I gave them a call and scheduled a free estimate. They came out and customized my entire moved. I just received my stuff in Georgia and very glad I chose this company. Everything happened just the way I accepted it to. Would be happy to recommend this company to friends.

My wife and I have moved 9 times over the years, always using professional moving companies.  We've always used the most common national moving companies and had good but typical experiences.  Everything about our experience from the estimate with David to the pickup and drop off with Juan and his crew was far better than any previous moving experience.
It started with David giving us a fair and reasonable estimate, not a low ball number to win the bid.  His number was not the lowest or the highest, but was the most accurate.  We've got plenty of moving experience so we think we know when an esimate for the amount of work / goods is reasonably accurate.  David nailed it.  That meant not only a fair price but the planned for the right number of guys to handle the work.
The day of the pick up not only was Juan and the crew on time, but a couple of his guys were actually early and waited.  Clearly they were ready to go.  They were experienced, knew what to do, were prepared, had more than adequate material, and had plenty of experience as working as a team.  They finished in less time than expected.
LA Transfer worked with us on the delivery date since our move was consuming one entire truck.  We needed time between pick up and delivery and they readily sorted that out with us.
Communication from David and Juan during the trransfer process was helpful to know all was proceeding as planned.  Delivery was spot on time.  The delivery to our new 6th floor apartment was a challenge for the guys but again they were prepared for the long hauls and the volume of work.  There was some initial challenge from our new building which meant the crew would have to haul 4 times further to get to elevators but Juan took it in stride.  Thankfully we were able to avoid this and correct the situation but I was impressed that Juan and the guys were ready regardless.  I've had movers in the past, big names, whine about moving a mattress up stairs so it was refreshing to have these guys - clearly very professional.
I can't say enough about Juan and crew.  These guys worked hard and nonstop.  Next move - LA Transfer again.  It's a no brainer.  Trust and professionalism are what its all about.  Cheers guys, and thank you.

My job has required me to move a lot. I have moved across the country once before and it's extremely stressful, more so than moving across town or a few states over, which I've also done. There's something disconcerting about watching your personal belongings get loaded onto a truck and hoping you receive it in the same shape you sent it.    When I met move coordinator David Hirsh, he was extremely professional and immediately put me at ease. As a single woman, it was very important to feel safe,  and not feel like you're being taken advantage of. (Sidenote: I had met with a well-known national moving company the day before, and not only was his estimate ridiculously high, but he felt it appropriate to discuss the inappropriate things he found at another woman's apartment. And believe me, I am no shrinking violet, but I was still stunned by his lack of professionalism. This was not the case with David or the men who moved my belongings!)   My estimate was beyond reasonable, especially for a "small" apartment move, which can be problematic for moving companies. David treated my move with the same respect as if I was a home owner with a family of four. On the day of the move, the men showed up on time and treated my belongings well. Everything was wrapped, better than what I would've done. I felt comfortable and at ease as they loaded up the truck. In 9 days (!!), my belongings arrived from Los Angeles to NYC -- this included the Thanksgiving holiday and a snowstorm that blanketed the country. They called me and they delivered my items to my apartment the following day. Again, the men were professional and unloaded everything, despite a three-story walk-up, with care.    I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. One thing that David told me early in our discussion stood out for me throughout the entire process. He said, "Sometimes, you can't prevent problems but it's how you deal with it that makes a difference." This is the key to quality customer service. I knew that no matter what happened, I would be able to reach him, discuss it and resolve it. Luckily, there were no problems. If I ever move again, I will be calling David.  .
