Good Greek Moving and Storage

I am so satisfied with Good Greek Movers. I had a couple of bad experiences with moving companies. This was the best, easiest and most capable and friendly move I ever had. The men that picked up my possessions couldn't be more helpful and kind. I have health problems and they just did everything they could to make the move easy for me. The men that delivered it were just as nice and kind. My belongings all made it without a scratch. AND they were reasonably priced. I highly recommend Good Greek Movers to anyone having to move a lot of possessions.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $10995

Making arrangements with Billy Ray was a pleasure. Louis called to check at both ends of the move. I only had positive things to tell him because I didn't know better. Unpacking was a different story. Every box was clearly marked, but many were put in wrong rooms, and apparently "Garage" means "wherever you feel like putting it". a floor plan for furniture was ignored. I guess they didn't know what to do with 2 pieces of my bed frame, so they hid them under it. The box spring in my guest room was left shrink wrapped, hidden by the mattress. Two lamps were lost, but later found crammed in a box with crutches and extra leaves for the dining table. Good thing the promised claim form never arrived. I'm afraid to unpack my Grandmother's china, but I can't until I can get the shelf in my hutch fixed.

Worst move I have ever had. I have had enough moves to be called a "nomad" to date 36 or 37 under my belt. Many to or from overseas, many more were "inter state", moves. I do know the good from the bad. This company is a "ripoff". I still have a few boxes to open and 70-80 pictures of how the Greek really treats your stuff.

My research has uncovered the fact that if one signs up for the "premier" package your stuff will likely be handled as advertised all others beware.

I am a veteran, window of 100% disabled vet and over 70 years old. I believe I know how a move should go. I decided to move closer to family and decided to take only those items that defined my lifestyle or were collected treasures from my 50 years of travel. So clothing, small kitchen appliances, collected worldwide treasures and a few small antique pieces(glass and carved wood). Estimated weight of 1,000 to 1500 pounds, tare weight. My move of 1600 miles cost me just shy of $6,000. As of this date I have counted up several thousand dollars in broken, gouges, scraped, unpacked busted, you have the picture.

The movers showed up without supplies, yes I said without supplies....things go downhill from there.

My daughter just hired these movers to move her small 2 bedroom townhome contents from Tampa, Fla. to Jacksonville, Fla. (Less than 200 miles. She had almost all of her contents packed for the movers. As she was driving up to Jacksonville to meet the movers at her new house they texted her that she owed them $11,000.00. She was informed that she would not get her property unless she paid first. There is no way anyone could justify Eleven thousand dollars for a small townhome move of 170 miles. I would never recommend this company to anyone and we are going to the State Agencies, News Media, and an Attorney to investigate these charges

My husband booked our move with Good Greek Moving & Storage after reading their positive reviews and they definitely lived up to the hype. From the initial booking and estimate, their willingness to be flexible with the date, and the professional, friendly, hard- working movers that showed up today , we were not disappointed. Lee, along with Goyo and Luis, got the job done efficiently & professionally. They made sure our items arrived in one piece and nothing was damaged or even dinged in the tight staircase they had to navigate. Lee also advised us about storage options offered by Good Greek and we were so impressed with how considerate he was about giving his co-workers a minute to catch their breath and grab a water in the incredibly, hot, humid day we moved. Last but not least, the price we paid was pretty much the estimate given at the time of booking without any add on or hidden fees. Would definitely use again and highly recommend!

During the pick up of my belongings at 3130 Brookfield Drive, several items were not boxed and placed on the truck. I asked why they did not box the items. He said a lock was going to be placed on the truck and the trailer would not be opened until arrival in Texas. The trailer would be attached to another truck.

Upon arrival in Texas, my belongings arrived on a separate truck. They had been removed from the locked trailer and placed on another truck. I have no idea of all of my belongings were transferred to the second truck.

I Jenna had told me the blankets would remain on the furniture while in storage. When the crew started to remove the blankets in Texas, I was told I had to pay an additional $300.00 in storage.

In addition, heavy boxes were placed on my white couch which they had standing on the end. I will check to see if the couch is damage. The king mattress cover was ripped as well.

I have called Jenna several times. She has not been cooperative. She said they had one of my boxes. I kept asking for the number on the box. She never responded. I then spoke to an operation manager who said he would check into the matter Friday September 16. He did not respond either. I do not know his name. I called September 19, 2022, 9:35 a.m. to Oscar. I asked who the operational manager was who was working Friday. He said he did not know. He said he would check into the matter.

At 9:59 a.m., I received a call from a female that said Greek Moving Storage had one of my boxes. She said she would call me with a delivery date. As of 9/22/2022 at 8:16 p.m., I have not heard from the female.

I am missing four boxes.

I specifically chose your company which had a quote substantially more than other companies because of the ads on the T.V promising professional service. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
